After a devastating loss Rachel and her team went above and beyond to make sure everyone involved was well taken care of! Even though our minds were all over the place they take the time to listen to everything we had to say. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and highly recommend Trusted Journey to help honor your loved one and get the closure needed to move forward. Thank you again for taking care of Kingston

Rachel went above and beyond in the compassion and kindness she showed today. I had to coordinate pickup from out of state and she was so understanding and helpful during the multiple phone calls and questions. She deserves recognition for going above and beyond for me and my family today. I want to thank the driver as well for their patience and understanding. This horse has been a part of our family for over 20 years and it brings us peace knowing that he was honored even after he crossed the rainbow bridge.

I recently lost my cat, we chose to have him cremated and was recommended Trusted Journey by the Madison Veterinary Specialist clinic, whom they work with frequently. I was price shocked at the amount it costs to cremate my maybe 10lb cat. The cremation alone was around $400. On top of that, I was charged nearly $50 for this place to give me MY cats paw print. Ink to his paw, and paw to a piece of paper. $50 effing dollars. If I wanted a clipping of his fur, $27. $30 for shipping. And of course tax.I lost my dog 5 years ago and had her cremated by Rivers Edge out of Lacrosse that worked along side Sparta Animal Veterinary clinic. The cost to cremate my 60lb dog was maybe around $300.. they also gave me a complimentary paw print made of clay. A beautiful doggy angel pin and a lovely poem about doggy heaven. It wasn’t mentioned that I’d get those extras, and made a huge emotional impact on me.The difference in the two companies is compassion and empathy. Trusted Journey’s bottom line and only concern is the money. They do not care that a furry family member was lost and is being grieved. They want to make the most money they can and do it by praying on the vulnerable. Something as simple as a paw print from the one we lost means the world to most people. I could understand a small fee, that would supply the material and the time it costs to do it but $50 is outrageous.I am a business owner, so I completely understand charging for the service you provide. But to take advantage of people who are emotionally vulnerable and essentially are “forced” to pay the ridiculous costs because if we don’t, we just don’t get that memorialized paw print which means so much to most people.Choose any other place for pet cremation. Trusted Journey would get negative stars if I could.Rivers Edge Pet Crematorium will be the only place I give business to in this circumstance from now on.

We own an animal sanctuary and unfortunately we had to put one of our cows down. She was only one and her name was Olga and she was the sweetest beautiful girl. I had been speaking with Rachel she was such a great help and extremely caring. They even did a good job when they came and picked her up. When we got her ashes Rachel and another lady were very Caring and made me feel better as I was crying. I would definitely recommend.
