Our mother passed recently and Andy Harrigan helped my family with all of our arrangements. We could have not had a better experience. He was very thorough in going over all wishes and making everything the way we wanted. I needed to callback a few times with questions and they were all addressed promptly. The home is a beautiful historic building.We had a meal at their gathering center after the service. This is a separate building on the property and is very nice. We recently used Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home as our provider of choice for our mother's memorial service. I cannot express enough positive things about the facility and all of their personnel. They were so responsive from the first time we communicated with them regarding our mother, her service and our needs and requests. Their courtesy, kindness and professionalism in dealing with us was excellent. They were helpful in suggesting various options to us as a family, and worked with us when we had questions. They encouraged and respected our input. The service was so well put together, the personnel throughout the process were so kind and caring and we have not one regret or complaint to be voiced. The dinner they provided afterward was wonderful - I highly and whole heartedly recommend them when you may be going through the loss of your loved one.

Andy was amazing throughout the whole process. We lost my dad after a long battle with cancer and Andy was so great putting the obituary together and getting everything we needed organized, with ZERO weight on our shoulders, giving us the proper time to grieve instead of worrying about funeral arrangements. He made my entire family feel so welcome, so comfortable, and he listened so closely to everything my dad would have wanted, he also worked with us on payment as life insurance denied our claim and was so helpful through that as well! They did such a great job setting up and preparing a space that was personal to our family, in a beautiful venue. Andy & his staff did a remarkable job to make it as easy as possible to do this project.My daughter recently passed. At a large hospital over an hour away. I simply can not recommend Harrigan Parkside highly enough. Planning a funeral or memorial can be a very stressful and emotional time. We worked with Max and Taylor who walked us thoroughly over all the details so we didn’t have a question. And yet somehow it was not overwhelming. More importantly they listened to what we were looking for to honor our mother and captured every small detail. They had great empathy for my entire family and we were treated with great respect as were all of our guests. They encouraged our laughs when they came as well as our tears. The vendors that they work with (flowers, catering, etc) worked seamlessly with Harrigan. We did not need to do anything, they did all the planning and set up. When we walked in the room set up for our celebration, it was perfect from guests being greeted to the placement of flowers and pictures. Staff was available the entire time for us prior to the celebration and through the entire service assisting with clean up. Quite simply, Harrigan made it possible for my family and I to focus on our family and friends and truly celebrate and honor my mother.

If I could give 100 stars I would!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this funeral home, and the amazing people that work here. My husband passed away unexpectedly last month, and the last thing that I wanted to do was plan his funeral. I thought that it was going to be stressful, and scary, and SO hard to do..but in reality, it was the complete opposite. The minute we walked through that door, we felt like family. We had Max as our funeral director, and I could not be more grateful for this man. He was so kind, so genuine, so humble, and so compassionate throughout this whole process. He went above and beyond, and exceeded ANY expectations that we had. Everything turned out BEAUTIFUL..and we left this place, feeling like we made a friend.

When the unfortunate time of her passing came, they were absolutely AMAZING! Although it was the most difficult time for our family; Harrigan Parkside provided assurance that every detail was taken care. They even took care of the basics like making sure we had Kleenex and water. They had all the cards/plants and flowers ready to load up after the service . My review is way overdue, and I apologize for that. Dennis and Andy took care of both of our parents. Our family has always been a little unconventional but they allowed us to have unique and very personal services that were appropriate for each of our parents. They went out of their way to accommodate our wishes thus allowing each family member to grieve and participate however they needed. The Entire Team at Harrigan Parkside exceeded all of our expectations...It was so difficult to process the passing of both parents on the same day in two different states. Andy and Dennis were great to work with. The life celebration social turned out beautifully. They were available to me anytime through out the entire process, and were very helpful. Even months after the service, I had to call them to get a replacement for a large glass topper on my husband's urn (my daughter and our dog were rough housing and bumped into the shelf, something heavy fell on top of it and it broke). He remembered who I was, and took care of getting a replacement for me. They also understand that people don't always have the funds to pay for their services immediately. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I worked with Andy in arranging services for our daughter's burial. At our first meeting he told us he would handle everything for our daughter as if she was his own, and he truly did. If I could give 100 stars I would!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this funeral home, and the amazing people that work here. My husband passed away unexpectedly last month, and the last thing that I wanted to do was plan his funeral. I thought that it was going to be stressful, and scary, and SO hard to do..but in reality, it was the complete opposite. The minute we walked through that door, we felt like family. We had Max as our funeral director, and I could not be more grateful for this man. He was so kind, so genuine, so humble, and so compassionate throughout this whole process. Although it was the most difficult time for our family; Harrigan Parkside provided assurance that every detail was taken care. My review is way overdue, and I apologize for that. Dennis and Andy took care of both of our parents. Our family has always been a little unconventional but they allowed us to have unique and very personal services that were appropriate for each of our parents.
