We are so thankful for the wonderful service provided by the caring people at Ohio Valley Pet Crematory. Our dog Luna, for some reason, suddenly attacked our other dog Roxie, and mortally wounded her. We had to euthanize Luna. We lost both our precious dogs. We appreciate the kindness shown to us during this difficult time.

This was my first pet. I will say they are very nice and care about the animals. They was so sweet. Very understandable... I was a mess. Made me feel comfortable and wasn't pushy. If I ever have another animal I will be back. They treat you like family.

I cannot express the appreciation I have for the team at Ohio Valley Pet Crematory, especially Alishah. The care give to myself and my family member Mylo was amazing. Our furry family members are treated with as much diginity and care by OV Pet Crematory as others. It was a personal and thoughtful experience and would recommend their services to others.

I hope this is the right place, but I rate the Ohio Valley Pet Crematory & Memory Land Pet Cemetery 10+ stars! My fur baby (Stunner) passed away January 05 his 1st birthday would have been February 10th. My fiancé called this place & the man that answered was so sincere! I took my baby over & the man’s name was Patrick Fahey! He let me spend some much needed time with my pup before I left him, he let me give him hugs & kisses. He made made sure I was comfortable leaving my fur baby. They get your baby back home in a timely manor. They treat you like family, & they also treat your animal better than any funeral home treats a human body. I only had him 9 months. My heart was shattered that someone could hit my baby & then leave him there & they never even stopped. they treat the animals better than any funeral home treats a human body. I felt so confident that they would take care of my baby & they sure did. I recommend them to everyone. Thank you for taking your time & taking care of my precious pup, it means more to me than you could ever know. Sorry it took so long for the review I’m just now able to really take it all in & talk about it.

10+ Stars They were absolutely wonderful. Our dog passed in a snow storm in Newell, WV. When we called they were interested in us and our lost not just the necessary information for the pick-up. The gentleman that did pick up our dog did not rush us and let us say our goodbyes and honor our dog's legacy. At no point were we rushed or forced for payments, it was almost like we were their friend. The cremation was fast, and they were very accommodating at pick up listening to stories and helping us select a different urn. It's such a lost losing your pet and unlike a prior experience they made it all about the grief process not just the sale/business transaction.

I just picked up my dog, Molly’s, ashes about half an hour ago. This has been very hard. Yesterday, I took her to this facility to have her cremated. Patrick was the man that took my info yesterday and let me spend more time with her body to tell her goodbye. He was the one to hand me Molly’s remains today. He was so compassionate and caring which made me feel a little better. I highly recommend this facility. They have very big hearts!

This place is TOP NOTCH.They treated my beloved pet like he was part of their family. And treated myself. And my family like we were also a part of theirs. Treated my beloved dog with Dignity, Honor, and Pride. And answered all my questions. And was very concerned for our feelings, and allowed us as much time as we needed before our final farewell to him. They treated us all with the utmost respect, kindness, and dignity more so than ANY ANY ANY other place I've dealt with in the past. This place, and these folks, come HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. And I am very very particular on Customer service.Thank you Mr. Fahey,You are truly a HUMAN ANGEL ^j^^j^^j^GOD BLESS YOU ALL***I just wish there were 10 stars, I could rate you. These people are some of the most compassionate and cordial, professional individuals I’ve had the pleasure to meet. They came to my house and got our boy when he passed, an 8 year old Great Dane. The husband and wife who picked him up were so genuine, I could see the empathy in their eyes. It’s hard losing a pet, they are family and they are companions, the entire staff, I feel understand this whole heartedly and treat you accordingly. Thank you all for taking care of our boy and handling yourselves with such professional courtesy and care.

UPDATED: I spoke with Sarah and she was very kind and apologetic to me about what happened. They will continue to look for the collar. I have changed my review from 1 Star to 3 Stars because the collar was lost but the communications to me were appreciated.ORIGINAL POST: I trusted this facility with my best friend Baxter. I specifically asked that my dog's collar be returned to me. The vet told me to leave the collar on him when he went to the crematory and it would be returned to me. When I picked up the ashes, the collar was not with him. The vet called the facility and they could not find it. The next day, the supervisor also said that they could not find it. I do not know what happened to it. They either threw it away or it is with the ashes but my wishes were not honored. This is heart breaking for me during an already hard time. I will not entrust another animal to this facility nor will I recommend anyone EVER use them. I trusted them with my most precious little guy and they lost part of him.

One of the worst experiences of my life has been losing my dog, Bella. I can't begin to express my gratitude to this place for helping me through this time. Thank you so much for the kindness and compassion you showed me during one of the hardest times I've had to go through. I took my dog Lacey there when she passed away. I didn't have to wait they got her done for me right away. They were great and very caring during that difficult time!They made a very hard time much easier!!!! I highly recommend them to anyone and will definitely be using their again in hopefully the far future!!!!

My dear cat Meeble passed away Friday, and I didn’t know what to do with myself. I was so distraught, eyes and face puffy from crying, and the lady there was just absolutely wonderful. I just got him back today and my emotions are just all over the place that I can not for the life of me remember her name and I’m so sorry for that. But while we were sitting there getting paper work in order she listened to my story about Meeble and made me laugh at some stories of her own as well. She was sympathetic with me and told me that I could take as much time as I needed to say goodbye to my baby boy. I wish I could rate this place more than 5 stars, and to the very nice lady that helped me as well, thank you for being there for me and making the process go painless and easily as possible. It’s a difficult thing when a pet passes, but I know when my other pets time comes, I won’t go anywhere else. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. ♥️

A very welcoming place, I lost my dear cat cotton she was the world to me, they let me say goodbye, the hardest thing i’ve had to do, if your reading this, this place is absolutely a place to trust and a wonderful price that is worth it, they took care of my baby and gave me her in a beautiful urn along with the rainbow bridge poem, also i was able to receive a small patch of her fur. I am thankful that i am able to always have a piece of her with me, thank you to pat and all the staff for being understanding and nice, it means a lot in times like these. Rip Cotton 5-11-21 we’ll meet you at the rainbow bridge one day.

We have had two of our fur-babies taken care of by Ohio Valley Pet Crematory. The staff that I talked to about arrangements couldn't have been more caring, and the staff members who came to pick up our animals were kind and respectful. Thank you for what you do.

Previously, we used them for our 2 dogs who passed away and they were compassionate and we were happy with their service. However, we lost our BELOVED cat last week and this time, I have NOTHING POSITIVE to say about my experience. I told them that I would be there to pick out his urn and when I arrived, they handed him to me in a CHEAP TIN container. Both of our dogs had wooden urns and I planned on doing the same for our cat. When I picked up the tin, the lid came off revealing his ashes which TOTALLY SHOCKED me.........I was at a loss for words. I reached out to them to let them know that I was not at all pleased with how this was handled and all I got was "I wasn't the one you talked to so I had no way of knowing that you wanted to make his arrangements". I am APPALLED and WILL NOT return.

Very caring,compassionate and professional people. We lost our cat of over 18 years and Jacquie was extremely caring ,patient and sympathetic. Simply put....they care about you and your lost pet at a truly sad time.

Our dog passes away on a Sunday morning. Told us they wouldn't be in the office until Monday morning 8 to 9 am. Bring her over then. I hung up on them. No compassion for people who just lost a pet9 July 2018. Response to below. No, your employee specifically said MONDAY. I even replied MONDAY. Too late we took our dog somewhere else. I will never recommend your business to anyone.

We have had several of our beloved furry family cremated at this facility. They are very professional, caring and considerate. Sadly we will use them again (sadly only due to lossing our babies). Thank you for caring about our family. In memory of Sassy, Star, Sweetie, Mario and Mya.

Amazing prices and very personal experience. The people here are VERY compasionate and treat your baby like the individual soul he/she is. They went above and beyond on our cat's imprints and personalized it with his name and hearts. They made the worst time bearable.
