My husband and I just lost our furbaby 1 week ago and just received our baby's remains today. Though it was so difficult to receive and open up, we are so grateful that they made it as beautiful and respectful as they could. It was very comforting in this hard time of ours to know that our baby was in the right hands before giving him back to us. Thank you so much for the thoughtful care and love you put into it.

I seldom give a 5 Star review. They were very professional in how we were treated. They were able to get our dog remains back sooner and was able to pickup on a Saturday. I would recommend this business. I did not trust the Veterinary office to handle this part. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our Chihuahua passed peacefully after 17 wonderful years. Since cremation was handled through our vet, we, unfortunately, didn’t have the pleasure of meeting the folks at WCPM in person but we have immense gratitude for them. We picked up our dog’s ashes today and the thoughtfulness, care and respect they brought to the cremation process was evident throughout. Everything was beautifully and tastefully packaged. The urn comes with a nice velvet pouch and is very simple but beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Much appreciated is the info and resources included on going through the grieving process. The paw print we will treasure forever. I had wanted to save a clipping of our dog’s fur to put into a locket but was too distraught at the time and deeply regretted not having done so. There are no words to describe my joy when I opened an envelope to find a memorial card with a clipping of fur. This thoughtful gesture provided the closure I needed to move from a feeling of deep loss and darkness to one of thankfulness for the 17yrs of joy our companion brought us and memories and pictures that were previously too painful to face can be recalled with light and joy.Our dog passed on a Thursday and we received her ashes the following Wednesday. We felt the service was very reasonable cost wise, we were incredibly happy with every aspect and would highly recommend WCPM.

We unexpectedly lost our beloved Lincoln on 11/02/23. A day that will forever be a somber one for me. West Coast Pet Memorial was very kind every time we spoke on the phone, even kinder when we picked up Lincoln’s ashes. Thank you for everything you do for us grieving families. I am sure that does not get said enough. I customized his urn online, no fault of theirs, in our grief, we only ordered a scattering tube. The paw print came with the order.

Our boy Joey crossed the rainbow bridge last week. The process at the vet we used changed since our Oliver crossed the bridge 2 years prior. Fast forward to West Coast Pet Memorial who was in charge of Joey's aftercare.Jen was so compassionate with me as I was ugly crying the entire conversation. She took time to explain the options as this process was new to me.Today, one week later, Joey is home with me and I want to thank WCPM so much for the care you took with my boy. Highly recommend!!

Id give 10 stars if i could. I drove a hour to bring my dog here and I’d drive further if i had to … to get the experience in a hard time like this again. Dan and Everett were very supportive and the care they gave to my dog was great and Id bring my other pets here again with the respect they showed my dog in their end of life. The urn we received is beautiful it was the serenity urn, and just need to put a picture of our dog in there 💕The property was well maintained too and the pet cemetery was something nice to see too.

I unexpectedly lost my pet on 3/28/24 and this was my first experience with any pet loss period. We had our pup for almost 10 years and I came home from an appointment to find her passed away. I called my vet distraught and they gave me the phone number to West Coast. I called them and it went to voicemail and I left a message. It was 4:19pm. I was upset and crying but I repeated my contact information twice and still to this day NEVER got a call back. My husband came home and called a place that not only answered the phone - they came to pick up my pup within an HOUR. I held my girl for 2 hours after I found her until the other place showed up and took her. I have passed along my feedback to my vet and I hope they start giving that other number to grieving pet parents. What a horrible experience.

I was very skeptical using this service as I don’t cremate my dogs, I bury them. We were heartbroken and scrambling to find an option that would work for the middle of winter. It was between this service and one other. We tried the one closest to us but they were so insensitive to our loss that we did not feel comfortable leaving our girl with them. We called this service and they were willing to get us in immediately. What stood out to us was that they did not take her and freeze her like trash. They performed the cremation immediately upon our arrival. They came to the car to help us move her with a nice gurney covered in a blanket. They handled her body gently and with great care. They referred to her by her name and as our loved one, never as the dog or the animal like the other place did. They offered to allow us to inspect the cremation chamber and witness them perform the cremation so we could be sure we would only receive her remains back. They didn’t hurry us while we said some last goodbyes. They were kind and empathetic. The grounds were beautiful; even in the middle of winter they maintained their cemetery immaculately. When we came to collect her ashes the next day they were ready with a high quality bag, an engraved wooden urn, and a card. While cremation is not what I wanted for my girl, when we had to make the decision that it was the only choice the employees showed her body the care and attention I would have wanted. I know we did right by her by using this service, and I cannot recommend them enough over the other services in the area.

Trust is everything, and kindness. At the worst possible times in my life they have been there. I have used their services for decades. And I always feel I can trust them, they are respectful, empathetic, and kind. And I really feel that's also how my pets were treated as they were being cremated and brought back home to me. When you can trust people at this time in your life, it really is a lifeline , it means everything! And I thank all the staff there, some I have known for a very very long time ! Do not do business with this company in your time of grief. We had to put my pup down at the Pet Emergency off Division a couple weeks ago and this company was offered to us at a very stressful time by the emergency people at the time we were saying goodbye to my pup. Their customer service is awful. They don’t answer their phones promptly. I called one day and the call got dropped three times , one time I reached a guy who said he was just a driver. Today, they were to have delivered my dogs remains between 11 and 1pm. It’s now 2 and not a word from this place. They charged $350 for this cremation, and this is how they treat their grieving customers. I would never do business with them again, and would never recommend this place to anyone.

I said goodbye to my best friend Bella recently. I couldn't be happier with the quality of everything WCPM did for me. The ink paw print/nose prints were incredible. The nose print triggered an instant "boop" memory for me. And I plan to get her paw print as a tattoo and it's perfect. Her clay print is also perfect. Thank you for preserving my memory of her. Also thank you for the benefits that you give to veterinary employees. I wouldn't have otherwise been able to have all this.

This was our first experience having a pet cremated so I have nothing to compare my experience too. However, their services were beyond what I expected. We were so pleased with the care they took and the sympathy they showed. The service took about a week, but that was told to us up front. The urn was nice, with an engraved name plate on it. The surprise was that they also gave us a paw imprint that they made with her name on. This was SO touching, and we all actually broke down crying over it. It was such a great touch. We are forever thankful to West Coast Pet Memorial for giving us that imprint that we will always cherish. Rest in Peace - Soul

Normally I would have given them a 5 star rating after using there service 5x before but, my Brother's beloved dog was picked up almost 2 weeks ago and she has still not been returned!! I was told 3-5 days so naturally after 7 days I called to see what the hold up was? I was told they had to special order her urn. I asked why no one called us to let us know & all they would say is sorry. After 3 more days I called again to see if there was an update & I got the same answer! So now here we are 2 weeks later and I still don't have an answer!! At this point they owe us not only an explanation & apology but also a refund!! We paid a lot of money for this & have nothing to show for it nor do we have our loved one back! Not sure I will use there service ever again?

Every person that works here is incredibly kind and compassionate. The customer service and level of communication is the best in Spokane for this type of need. The fee is affordable and my sweet Pity was brought back to me in a rosewood box. This is not the first time I have needed Their services. To be honest, I called the two other places in Spokane just to see what their pricing is. One place never called me back and the other one talked to me like it was just another day. I truly recommend West Coast Pet Memorial. ❤💔❤

Our beloved cat Oly passed very suddenly a couple weeks ago, and when it happened we took her to the emergency vet in Redmond. It all happened very quickly, we were devastated, we immediately agreed to pay for cremation services, and eventually left.I initially didn’t know anything about the services we paid for and I didn’t ask the vet. I received a call when they were ready to pick up.My husband and I were so surprised and touched about everything we received and with the reasonable price we paid. We were grateful for pieces of sentimental value we didn’t think to ask for but wanted after we started to process. We are very satisfied with the services received.

This place is amazing, I wish I could add more stars. After my dog passed away in my arms and the nightmare with our vet not giving us any options for my dogs box or to even get paw prints I was left feeling absolutely low but I decided to look up this place (that our vet completely neglected to tell us where our dog was even getting cremated until we picked up her ashes) and decided to come buy a new box. The lady there, I didn’t catch her name but she was there today with brown overalls, was so incredibly nice and caring for us. I got to choose a different box and also get a pendant while I was there. She took care of us and I’m so so so grateful for the service I received its helped me with healing and moving forward. Thank you again I’ll never forget this kindness.

I am at a lost! Told 3-5 days to get ashes now 5-7 days. My little girl was picked up on a Tuesday and now just sitting there waiting for cremation and it is Saturday. Paid good money but not outstanding service. Just my luck.received a call today, Monday, and they will not deliver after 4:00. So do I wait until Saturday for a delivery OR do I make the trek out there for my loved one? No brainer, I HAVE TO GO GET HER. They got their money up front so don't expect outstanding customer service or empathy. For those of you who had a 5 star rating, good for you.

I used west coast pet memorial for 4 pets in the past and they were great. Not sure what happened??? My dog passed away after 5 on a Friday so I understand them not answering the phone since they closed at 5. I left a message and no call back in the morning, left at least 3 more messages after the time their website said they opened still no call back. My vet called for me, no answer for her and no call back to me. Last message asking to please let me know if they can’t come today, no call back. Will NEVER use West Coast Pet Memorial again nor will I refer to friends like I have in the past. Terrible way to run this type of business.

The necklace I ordered was prefilled with ashes so I didn’t have to do it in my time of grief (incredible quality jewelry by the way)It’s nice that they are local, but also have many different locations. Our 18 year old cat lost her hard fought battle this past week and I very very sadly had to let her go. I have a very caring Vet(Dr Leese) I go to with the nicest of staff who helped me but did no make me feel like I had to rush. Gave me all the info I needed to make the final decision I needed to have to unfortunately make ( I was in this very same position a year ago with my 15 y/o min pin). I have had so many pets that lived 12,14+ yrs and we have always buried them on our acreage but my kitty was a special one and I wanted her w me. My vet suggested Family Pet Memorial because she had taken several of her pets there. When I went to pick up my cats ashes I just expected a paper bag with a plastic bag contains g them.but I was given this beautiful wooden box w her name carved on it. Absolutely beautiful. These folks are awesome. Straight up. They care and they are professional. I have visited and seen their facilities...clean...organized. The cemetery is as good or better than similar places for people. In discussions with other people who have used them or veterinary clinics, we all agree, they are tops. I have used them 4 times (twice for my dogs and twice I brought my friends furred family members) . Btw...I am a funeral director and my standards are high. While there are other pet cremation places in the area - none come even close to the quality of care.

We picked up our beloved Dakota on Friday and brought him home. Was a very nice surprise to also recieve his hair in a nice bottle, and his paw print (which I wanted to do before his passing but wasnt able to). Everything was made personal to Dakota and meant so much to us. Thank you for making a difficult time easier to cope with. I will use your services in the future.

We just got our pets ashes back from FPM through the Spokane Valley Animal Hospital and we were truly taken aback by the thoughtfulness of their service. In addition to the custom plaque they put on her urn, they imprinted her paws into a piece of clay for us, put a bit of fur into a keepsake vial, and gave us a little paper heart filled with seeds to plant over her grave should we bury the urn at some point. We could not be more touched by the thoroughness of their compassion. Would give 100 stars is we could. Thank you.

My Shih Tzu, Shania passed away on a weekend, so we couldn't take her to our regular veterinary office. We took her to an emergency clinic to have her cremated. I was shown options of picture urns and wanted a different wood, but I was told that was the only option. Upon receiving the urn, I looked up the website for WCPM and saw there were a lot more options. I called WCPM and talked to Jen, she was so helpful and understanding and said I could exchange the urn for a different wood. I went to their location a few days later and did the exchange, they made things right. Upon receiving the original order, I received a casted mold paw print of my Shania... what a precious gift! Anyways, they are very professional, caring and show compassion. Thank you so much!

I can't say enough good things about this company. As sad as I was to lose my pet they made the whole experience very easy to deal with. Everyone I dealt with was extremely caring and very compassionate. Human funeral directors could learn a lot from them. They handled the entire process exactly as it should be done. 5 stars, A+++++. After having several issues with the clinic I dropped off my dog at, I finally got in contact with Cory from Family Pet Memorial and got my dogs ashes back after a month of waiting. The clinic gave me incorrect information and gave the memorial place TWO wrong phone numbers so they could not contact me. Cory went above and beyond my expectations and was so very kind. I will contact them directly in the future. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs these services.

Our beloved cat Oly passed very suddenly a couple weeks ago, and when it happened we took her to the emergency vet in Redmond. It all happened very quickly, we were devastated, we immediately agreed to pay for cremation services, and eventually left.I initially didn’t know anything about the services we paid for and I didn’t ask the vet. I received a call when they were ready to pick up.My husband and I were so surprised and touched about everything we received and with the reasonable price we paid. We were grateful for pieces of sentimental value we didn’t think to ask for but wanted after we started to process. We are very satisfied with the services received.

This place is amazing, I wish I could add more stars. After my dog passed away in my arms and the nightmare with our vet not giving us any options for my dogs box or to even get paw prints I was left feeling absolutely low but I decided to look up this place (that our vet completely neglected to tell us where our dog was even getting cremated until we picked up her ashes) and decided to come buy a new box. The lady there, I didn’t catch her name but she was there today with brown overalls, was so incredibly nice and caring for us. I got to choose a different box and also get a pendant while I was there. She took care of us and I’m so so so grateful for the service I received its helped me with healing and moving forward. Thank you again I’ll never forget this kindness.

I am at a lost! Told 3-5 days to get ashes now 5-7 days. My little girl was picked up on a Tuesday and now just sitting there waiting for cremation and it is Saturday. Paid good money but not outstanding service. Just my luck.received a call today, Monday, and they will not deliver after 4:00. So do I wait until Saturday for a delivery OR do I make the trek out there for my loved one? No brainer, I HAVE TO GO GET HER. They got their money up front so don't expect outstanding customer service or empathy. For those of you who had a 5 star rating, good for you.

I used west coast pet memorial for 4 pets in the past and they were great. Not sure what happened??? My dog passed away after 5 on a Friday so I understand them not answering the phone since they closed at 5. I left a message and no call back in the morning, left at least 3 more messages after the time their website said they opened still no call back. My vet called for me, no answer for her and no call back to me. Last message asking to please let me know if they can’t come today, no call back. Will NEVER use West Coast Pet Memorial again nor will I refer to friends like I have in the past. Terrible way to run this type of business.

The necklace I ordered was prefilled with ashes so I didn’t have to do it in my time of grief (incredible quality jewelry by the way)It’s nice that they are local, but also have many different locations. Our 18 year old cat lost her hard fought battle this past week and I very very sadly had to let her go. I have a very caring Vet(Dr Leese) I go to with the nicest of staff who helped me but did no make me feel like I had to rush. Gave me all the info I needed to make the final decision I needed to have to unfortunately make ( I was in this very same position a year ago with my 15 y/o min pin). I have had so many pets that lived 12,14+ yrs and we have always buried them on our acreage but my kitty was a special one and I wanted her w me. My vet suggested Family Pet Memorial because she had taken several of her pets there. When I went to pick up my cats ashes I just expected a paper bag with a plastic bag contains g them.but I was given this beautiful wooden box w her name carved on it. Absolutely beautiful. These folks are awesome. Straight up. They care and they are professional. I have visited and seen their facilities...clean...organized. The cemetery is as good or better than similar places for people. In discussions with other people who have used them or veterinary clinics, we all agree, they are tops. I have used them 4 times (twice for my dogs and twice I brought my friends furred family members) . Btw...I am a funeral director and my standards are high. While there are other pet cremation places in the area - none come even close to the quality of care.

I have used family pet memorial since 2007 for my own pets as well as for clients. They are compassionate, fair and reseptectful of both the animal as well as the owners. They treat your pet with dignity throughout the entire process. This is not a job most of us would want to have and for that as a pet owner and a veterinarian I couldn't be more greatful to them.

Honestly disappointed me and my family lost our dog went through the process paid $40 for a paw print that was faded and barely intact $40 dollars for a single paw print that was barely even a paw print woke up to my mom wailing bc one of the only things that we have to remember our dog was done poorly and lazily

We just got our pets ashes back from FPM through the Spokane Valley Animal Hospital and we were truly taken aback by the thoughtfulness of their service. In addition to the custom plaque they put on her urn, they imprinted her paws into a piece of clay for us, put a bit of fur into a keepsake vial, and gave us a little paper heart filled with seeds to plant over her grave should we bury the urn at some point. We could not be more touched by the thoroughness of their compassion. Would give 100 stars is we could. Thank you.

My Shih Tzu, Shania passed away on a weekend, so we couldn't take her to our regular veterinary office. We took her to an emergency clinic to have her cremated. I was shown options of picture urns and wanted a different wood, but I was told that was the only option. Upon receiving the urn, I looked up the website for WCPM and saw there were a lot more options. I called WCPM and talked to Jen, she was so helpful and understanding and said I could exchange the urn for a different wood. I went to their location a few days later and did the exchange, they made things right. Upon receiving the original order, I received a casted mold paw print of my Shania... what a precious gift! Anyways, they are very professional, caring and show compassion. Thank you so much!

Best place to have your animals cremated .....I called them they came and picked my dog up they took her and cremated her and then they held on to her until I made all of the payments on the bill and they do take payment and they bringing back in a lovely urn.....
