Update due to owner response: now a 1 start for defensive response there was no apology it was only an oops I forgot my star in my rush to get her home thatā€™s my fault. When we went to the facility after she said it was to difficult for her to arrange to meet people at summit. My husband simply said ok because he was over it and just wanted to be done itā€™s also why he didnā€™t let you fill the urn necklace. I left because I didnā€™t want to watch you move my sweet girls ashes from one box to another also I posted the picture of the original wrong urn with the scratches you claim to not see donā€™t worry we wonā€™t be back and have already been telling everyone we know not to us your services. Also I knew to remove the film the name plate is cheap looking and you could ask people where they want it rather then them having to stick it on their self with double sided tape.At a time of loss to deal with what we just had to deal with is unacceptable!! Our sweet girl passed away from cancer at summit vet in Tacoma. We went through them and decided on private cremation. They use this place and you get a basic package and if you want to add on more then just a name or want a different Urn you have to call and arrange it with the crematorium.Initially I had a good experience with adding on a necklace and more then just her name to the name plate and changing her Urn. We waited about a month to get the call from the vet our girl was ready to come home. Thatā€™s where things go wrong. I open the box to discover not only did I not get the right urn I did not get the necklace I ordered. The urn we did get was scratched up. So here I am crying my eyes out about picking my girl up in a box to now dealing with it all being wrong.When I called the lady was hardly apologetic was nonchalant about it. She apparently forgot to put a star or something. She told me in her rush to get her back before the big holiday she missed it somehow ok we are all human mistakes are made. She then says that she gets her delivery on Monday usually in the afternoon and if it came in time she would be out at summit later that day and I could meet her there or I could bring sweetie back so she is there when she is to make the switch. So Monday comes I get a call in the late afternoon my items have arrived but now I have to go to Auburn to make things right ok fine whatever I gotta do to make this right well turns out she didnā€™t write down what I wanted on the name plate so you are telling me this was gonna go wrong from the start seriously! We will never use this place again and if we go through a vet again we will make sure they are not using this place. I donā€™t care that you been in business for 15 year or more that just tells me you should have done better. The only reason I didnā€™t give 1 star is because the necklace was beautiful and the clay paw print was beautiful. The name plate is cheap looking and the fact that I have to put it on myself with double sided tap is just plain tacky especially in a time of grief!!

I couldnā€™t be more happy! Greyson was my pet rooster, he got a cold then URI, i went here super nervous and unsure about the process, the owner was soooooo nice and fast which didnā€™t give me time to cry and that made me happy because I didnā€™t wanna cry in front of her, she was kind, understanding, empathetic, respectful etc. made the process super easy, i got his ashes today (11/16/2023) @2:32pm and as soon as she left i cried because everything she did was just perfect to me personally! I saw his foot print and just broke down, Iā€™m never going to see him again. Thank you šŸ™šŸ½

We came here after one of our pets unexpectedly died and after doing our research and finding this was the only place with a rating higher than 2.3.When we brought him, they were very helpful and got us in the same day. We gave instructions of what we wanted to keep after his cremation, and when I picked him up two weeks later, I quickly realized that we didnā€™t get what we asked/paid for. I called the place immediately to ask, in case they had forgotten to put the additional items in our envelope and Carrie took it extremely lightly and just said ā€œoops I miss understood, thatā€™s my mistakeā€ as she giggled repeatedly through the call as if it was funny. During the drop off, she took detailed notes and we even went over everything, not once, but twice. For them to not give us what was asked for was very disappointing, but the way she seemed careless and as if it wasnā€™t a big deal, was plain out rude and heartless. Before I could even finish my sentence, she hung up on me after saying there was nothing she could do now. I was also not allowed to go inside to pick up my babyā€™s ashes and belongings and was told to wait outside by my car. I was also told it would take about a week and I called to inquire on the status and was told sheā€™d call me back by the end of day and I never got a call back. The whole process after dropping off was so unprofessional to say the least. I will not use their services in the future.These are the feathers we got vs the feathers we had asked for-which were a few tail ones and some of the more colorful ones from his wings. But instead we got some wing ones that donā€™t even show his true vivid colors which look more like the inner wing feathers.

In the veterinary profession, the ultimate compliment is to tell someone ā€œI trust you with my petā€. I have trusted Precious Pets with my pets four times now. As I type this, Carrie is taking care of my heart dogs aftercare with the utmost compassion. While I do have the pain of having lost my boy, I am able to find peace in knowing the Carrie and her family are treating him with care and respect. I hope to not need their services again, personally, for a long time, but should the need arise, I will not trust my pets aftercare to anyone else.
