Update due to owner response: now a 1 start for defensive response there was no apology it was only an oops I forgot my star in my rush to get her home thatās my fault. When we went to the facility after she said it was to difficult for her to arrange to meet people at summit. My husband simply said ok because he was over it and just wanted to be done itās also why he didnāt let you fill the urn necklace. I left because I didnāt want to watch you move my sweet girls ashes from one box to another also I posted the picture of the original wrong urn with the scratches you claim to not see donāt worry we wonāt be back and have already been telling everyone we know not to us your services. Also I knew to remove the film the name plate is cheap looking and you could ask people where they want it rather then them having to stick it on their self with double sided tape.At a time of loss to deal with what we just had to deal with is unacceptable!! Our sweet girl passed away from cancer at summit vet in Tacoma. We went through them and decided on private cremation. They use this place and you get a basic package and if you want to add on more then just a name or want a different Urn you have to call and arrange it with the crematorium.Initially I had a good experience with adding on a necklace and more then just her name to the name plate and changing her Urn. We waited about a month to get the call from the vet our girl was ready to come home. Thatās where things go wrong. I open the box to discover not only did I not get the right urn I did not get the necklace I ordered. The urn we did get was scratched up. So here I am crying my eyes out about picking my girl up in a box to now dealing with it all being wrong.When I called the lady was hardly apologetic was nonchalant about it. She apparently forgot to put a star or something. She told me in her rush to get her back before the big holiday she missed it somehow ok we are all human mistakes are made. She then says that she gets her delivery on Monday usually in the afternoon and if it came in time she would be out at summit later that day and I could meet her there or I could bring sweetie back so she is there when she is to make the switch. So Monday comes I get a call in the late afternoon my items have arrived but now I have to go to Auburn to make things right ok fine whatever I gotta do to make this right well turns out she didnāt write down what I wanted on the name plate so you are telling me this was gonna go wrong from the start seriously! We will never use this place again and if we go through a vet again we will make sure they are not using this place. I donāt care that you been in business for 15 year or more that just tells me you should have done better. The only reason I didnāt give 1 star is because the necklace was beautiful and the clay paw print was beautiful. The name plate is cheap looking and the fact that I have to put it on myself with double sided tap is just plain tacky especially in a time of grief!!

Greyson was my pet rooster, he got a cold then URI, i went here super nervous and unsure about the process, the owner was soooooo nice and fast which didnāt give me time to cry and that made me happy because I didnāt wanna cry in front of her, she was kind, understanding, empathetic, respectful etc. made the process super easy, i got his ashes today (11/16/2023) @2:32pm and as soon as she left i cried because everything she did was just perfect to me personally! I saw his foot print and just broke down, Iām never going to see him again. Thank you šš½

We came here after one of our pets unexpectedly died and after doing our research and finding this was the only place with a rating higher than 2.3.When we brought him, they were very helpful and got us in the same day. We gave instructions of what we wanted to keep after his cremation, and when I picked him up two weeks later, I quickly realized that we didnāt get what we asked/paid for. I called the place immediately to ask, in case they had forgotten to put the additional items in our envelope and Carrie took it extremely lightly and just said āoops I miss understood, thatās my mistakeā as she giggled repeatedly through the call as if it was funny. During the drop off, she took detailed notes and we even went over everything, not once, but twice. For them to not give us what was asked for was very disappointing, but the way she seemed careless and as if it wasnāt a big deal, was plain out rude and heartless. Before I could even finish my sentence, she hung up on me after saying there was nothing she could do now. I was also not allowed to go inside to pick up my babyās ashes and belongings and was told to wait outside by my car. I was also told it would take about a week and I called to inquire on the status and was told sheād call me back by the end of day and I never got a call back. The whole process after dropping off was so unprofessional to say the least. I will not use their services in the future.These are the feathers we got vs the feathers we had asked for-which were a few tail ones and some of the more colorful ones from his wings. But instead we got some wing ones that donāt even show his true vivid colors which look more like the inner wing feathers.

In the veterinary profession, the ultimate compliment is to tell someone āI trust you with my petā. I have trusted Precious Pets with my pets four times now. As I type this, Carrie is taking care of my heart dogs aftercare with the utmost compassion. While I do have the pain of having lost my boy, I am able to find peace in knowing the Carrie and her family are treating him with care and respect. I hope to not need their services again, personally, for a long time, but should the need arise, I will not trust my pets aftercare to anyone else.

I was so grateful to find Precious Pets in our time of need. Our cat got ill very suddenly and so we didnt really have time to plan in advance for end of life. It was very important to my daughter to keep her cat with her after he passed and cremation through the vet clinic was outrageously expensive. I found Precious Pets in a Google search and gave them a call. Carrie, the owner, answered my call and was extremely helpful. It was the day before a holiday weekend and she went out of her way to make arrangements for us. Not only did she met us after hours but did this the night before she was leaving for vacation. She helped my daughter make the arrangements she wanted without any pressure. Carrie helped make a very difficult situation bearable. If you find yourself needing to make arrangements for a sick or elderly pet I would highly recommend working with Precious Pets!

Took our young cat who passed away to cancer here to be cremated. The owner was helpful, professional, and empathetic. We very much so appreciated her insistence in not trying to upsell us on anything while still providing options that we might appreciate. Also appreciated her significant use of labels and metal tags to ensure that nothing related to our cat got misplaced or lost.Only comments I have is that it can be a little hard to get a hold of her sometimes and her hours seem to fluctuate a bit, but ultimately this wasn't a big problem.

We lost our good boy āPeanutā early in the morning on March 30th, 2021. We decided to use Precious Pets cremation service primarily because we were able to bring him in and have remains returned to us on the same day. There are many pet cremation services around but most of them subcontract with a regional conglomerate and you cannot get same day service. We were pleased to find out that Precious Pets is locally owned. They do all of their services on site. Carrie was very prompt to return calls and sensitive to our loss. We arranged to drop Peanut off early on the Wednesday morning after his passing and we were able to pick him up early that afternoon. Carrie was very helpful, thoroughly explained all of their available services, and their associated costs. We selected a nice picture box urn for him with some simple engraving. The urn took about a week to be delivered and they gave us a very nice plastic vase style urn to keep his remains in during the interim. We just canāt thank Precious Pets and Carrie enough for the service they provided to us. Weāre grateful you are on our community.

Today 1/11/2024 was the first interaction with Precious Pets. I am grateful for the compassion and kindness that I received when I reached out to locate our loved one. We lost our 18 year old Yoda Thanksgiving weekend. We understand that it was going to take a little longer to get our boy back home with all the holidays. We kept calling the Vet we dropped him off at. With no help. Finally we got the name and number of where he was sent to. Thank you universe for Precious Pets. Yoda was still with them. Safe! And we were given the opportunity to go get him directly from them. No more waiting. No more wondering. Today Yoda comes home. Again Thank you for everything.

We used Precious Pets 6 years ago when we lost our beloved Andy. A private live cremation was requested to ensure a good sendoff for our 14 year old border collie.Unprepared, this past Thursday we lost Andy's 16 year old brother, unexpectedly. Despite of all the last minute arrangement with searching for a vet to do a house call, we managed to reach Precious Pets in the evening. Carrie was able to receive Quinn the next morning. That was such a relief because we trusted Quinn would be taken care of in the same caring way as Andy was 6 years earlier.The owners, Carrie and her husband are very caring people and they certainly do not deserve a couple of poor ratings posted.

Well, this review is a while in the making since my experience with Precious Pet's Animal Crematory was a few months ago........what I have to say about them EVERYTHING good! First of all my beloved little 16 yr old Yorkie, Lily, passed away in the middle of the 2020 pandemic (for those of you reading this down the road). As you all know everything had/has been horrific dealing with COVID-19, and social distancing, but because I knew I wanted my little sweetheart always with me and not buried in our "pet cemetery" I started looking at my options with regard to having her cremated (something I was foreign to). Looking at my online options and perusing the different websites it didn't take me long to decide on Precious Pets. And I'm so grateful I did. They were wonderful, Carrie was wonderful. She went above and beyond my expectations, always answering my emails within hours, if not minutes, and at times I believe she may have even been at home during her evening correspondences. She was caring, thoughtful, sympathetic, and had a general concern for my loss. For my Lily I decided on the options of a stone keepsake that I placed in my garden under a rose bush, her little paw print and name were carved into the stone, and it's simply darling. I also chose the tiny Lotus Flower urn, and I'm so happy I did.........I actually have no words to describe how precious it is. With all the care and concern, and having her ready to pick up when they said she would be, (even with the pandemic), I can only imagine how wonderful they would be under normal circumstances! So to wrap this review up, I would not hesitate one minute when making one of the hardest decisions you have to make being an animal lover, and make Precious Pets your choice too. Like I said to Carrie, I'm one of "those" that only leaves reviews when I'm disappointed in a service, this is the first time I've left a review for something I believe in. Take the the guessing out of your choices.....and take my advice, you won't be sorry you did. And bless those of you reading this that have lost a beloved four legged family member and are reading this because you're trying to make a decision , my heart goes out to you.

I have never met a more compassionate and loving person in my life. My boy Odin was my life line. The fact that they allowed me to cremate his service dog harness with him at no extra cost was amazing. She handled my boy with the care and respect he deserved and allowed me to walk him in with a cover on as he was a bit dirty and positioned a bit odd. She let me take all the time I needed to say goodbye and was very respectful. If I ever am in need of these services again I will definitely be using this one. I love you my boy. See you soon buddy.

Wonderful company and Carrie was so thoughtful, respectful and sincere about our grief for our beloved Bruno. I talked with her on the phone a couple of times and I could tell that she genuinely offers the deepest respect for the remains of our pets and understands that they are part of our family and deserve the utmost respect. Carrie and her husband ( I am sorry I do not know his name) we're so caring and compassionate toward me and my big dog. They were gentle with him, I had some special requests and they didn't bat an eye. I am so grateful to have them help us on one of the worst days of my life. We lost our dear little pug Lillie on the evening of November,18th 2020. We spent one last night with her and called The Precious Pet Animal Crematory in the morning as soon as they opened. No one answered so I had to leave a message. Carrie called me back within about 20 minutes, but because I was not able to answer the phone she also left a message. When I listened to the message, I was shocked by the lack of compassion in what she said and how she said it. She said in a fast speaking matter of fact way, as if it were a script " Hello Edith this is Carrie at Precious Pets Animal Crematory just giving you a call back, I'm sorry I missed your call and I'm sorry for your loss. I do have some appointments available for drop off." For Drop Off???? We are calling these types of places because we have just lost our beloved pet, and to be told that they have appointments available for Drop Off, is in my opinion, very insensitive. Carrie needs some retraining on compassion. First, she needs to slow down her speaking, so that at least she sounds sincere. But, more importantly she needs to rephrase the "Drop Off" part to something more sensitive, like, I have some appointments available to receive your beloved pet for aftercare. Drop Off sounds more like I'm using disposal service for my pet. Because of this first impression, we chose to use a more compassionate, cremation service.

Our Lola Marie passed away on Halloween. I had no idea what to do and called Precious Pets after hours. I left a message not expecting to hear back until the next morning. But Carrie called me back within 10 minutes. She was so kind and talked me through what I needed to do for the night before they opened the next morning. She was so compassionate and caring through the whole process. She never once was annoyed while I was hyperventilating and sobbing uncontrollably. I haven't received my little girl back from them yet, but I couldnt wait to give a good review. Thank you Precious Pets for making this horrible experience a little bit easier.

We lost our 4 year old Cooper so unexpectedly at home and our loss, like any pet owner, was devastating. My relationship with Cooper and his sister was/is extremely deep. I was unable emotionally to handle the transportation of Cooper to a funeral home, so my husband, who is a surgeon in Auburn, took it upon himself to find time in his schedule to do this for me. My husband reported to me that despite not having an appointment, he was able to drop off Cooper for a private cremation. We didn't require an extended amount of time, which probably would have required an appointment and we appreciate this fact, but we are so grateful that we were able to quickly arrange a private cremation for him so we could begin our grieving process privately at home. We lost our Bear Bear unexpectedly early morning on 1/26/22 and Precious Pets was kind enough to fit us in early in the morning. The compassion and genuine respect that they showed for our sweet Bear and family was unmatched. There was no upselling of fancy urns or keepsakes. They let us choose what was best for our family with no pressure to buy more. When our urn that we chose was taking longer than anticipated, they offered to provide us a temporary urn so that we could bring Bear home, where he belonged. I cannot thank them enough for taking such great care of our Bear and family during this unbelievably difficult time. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all of your compassion and support.

This phone call is always extremely difficult for us to make, but both times the owner was wonderful! She was calming, compassionate and provided great customer service. Both times, we scheduled an early morning appointment for a private, same day cremation. We went to lunch and were able to bring Sam and Gyspy home by the afternoon. I would like to wish this company and Carrie and Shaun all the luck in the world. My Akika meant the world to me, and when I called Precious Pets, I was treated so respectfully and patiently. Carrie is very kind, and compassionate, and has such empathy. These folks remind me of the small business owners ,of long ago, who cared about what they were doing, provided top-notch customer service and cared about their customers. The urn took about a week to be delivered and they gave us a very nice plastic vase style urn to keep his remains in during the interim. We just canāt thank Precious Pets and Carrie enough for the service they provided to us. Weāre grateful you are on our community.

Today 1/11/2024 was the first interaction with Precious Pets. I am grateful for the compassion and kindness that I received when I reached out to locate our loved one. We lost our 18 year old Yoda Thanksgiving weekend. We understand that it was going to take a little longer to get our boy back home with all the holidays. We used Precious Pets 6 years ago when we lost our beloved Andy. A private live cremation was requested to ensure a good sendoff for our 14 year old border collie.Unprepared, this past Thursday we lost Andy's 16 year old brother, unexpectedly. Despite of all the last minute arrangement with searching for a vet to do a house call, we managed to reach Precious Pets in the evening. Carrie was able to receive Quinn the next morning. That was such a relief because we trusted Quinn would be taken care of in the same caring way as Andy was 6 years earlier.The owners, Carrie and her husband are very caring people and they certainly do not deserve a couple of poor ratings posted.

When my cat Lucy died, I called Precious Pets as soon as I discovered her. Somehow, they managed to understand what I was saying even though I was sobbing uncontrollably, and they stayed open late while I made the long, tearful drive from N. Seattle to Auburn that evening. When I got there, I was given several options for an urn/box, and I ended up choosing the plain box since I knew I'd be looking for a special urn for my special girl at some point. They allowed me to have time alone to say goodbye and told me to take as long as I needed. Throughout the entire process I was treated with patience and sincere compassion. I would use Precious Pets again in a heartbeat if any of my pets head off to the Rainbow Bridge.

I called after hours, when our dog very suddenly passed away. She called me back within minutes, add scheduled us to come in the very next day.I'm sorry, I can't remember her name, but the woman who helped us was amazing. She was very gentle, walked us through the entire process, answered every question and was all around the best person to help us through such a hard thing to do. When all was said and done, she led us to a mourning room and allowed us all the time we needed to say or final goodbyes to our beloved Merlin.

Well, this review is a while in the making since my experience with Precious Pet's Animal Crematory was a few months ago........what I have to say about them EVERYTHING good! First of all my beloved little 16 yr old Yorkie, Lily, passed away in the middle of the 2020 pandemic (for those of you reading this down the road). As you all know everything had/has been horrific dealing with COVID-19, and social distancing, but because I knew I wanted my little sweetheart always with me and not buried in our "pet cemetery" I started looking at my options with regard to having her cremated (something I was foreign to). Looking at my online options and perusing the different websites it didn't take me long to decide on Precious Pets. And I'm so grateful I did. They were wonderful, Carrie was wonderful. She went above and beyond my expectations, always answering my emails within hours, if not minutes, and at times I believe she may have even been at home during her evening correspondences. She was caring, thoughtful, sympathetic, and had a general concern for my loss. For my Lily I decided on the options of a stone keepsake that I placed in my garden under a rose bush, her little paw print and name were carved into the stone, and it's simply darling. I also chose the tiny Lotus Flower urn, and I'm so happy I did.........I actually have no words to describe how precious it is. With all the care and concern, and having her ready to pick up when they said she would be, (even with the pandemic), I can only imagine how wonderful they would be under normal circumstances! So to wrap this review up, I would not hesitate one minute when making one of the hardest decisions you have to make being an animal lover, and make Precious Pets your choice too. Like I said to Carrie, I'm one of "those" that only leaves reviews when I'm disappointed in a service, this is the first time I've left a review for something I believe in. Take the the guessing out of your choices.....and take my advice, you won't be sorry you did. And bless those of you reading this that have lost a beloved four legged family member and are reading this because you're trying to make a decision , my heart goes out to you.

I have never met a more compassionate and loving person in my life. My boy Odin was my life line. The fact that they allowed me to cremate his service dog harness with him at no extra cost was amazing. She handled my boy with the care and respect he deserved and allowed me to walk him in with a cover on as he was a bit dirty and positioned a bit odd. She let me take all the time I needed to say goodbye and was very respectful. If I ever am in need of these services again I will definitely be using this one. I love you my boy. See you soon buddy.

We lost our dear little pug Lillie on the evening of November,18th 2020. We spent one last night with her and called The Precious Pet Animal Crematory in the morning as soon as they opened. No one answered so I had to leave a message. Carrie called me back within about 20 minutes, but because I was not able to answer the phone she also left a message. When I listened to the message, I was shocked by the lack of compassion in what she said and how she said it. She said in a fast speaking matter of fact way, as if it were a script " Hello Edith this is Carrie at Precious Pets Animal Crematory just giving you a call back, I'm sorry I missed your call and I'm sorry for your loss. I do have some appointments available for drop off." For Drop Off???? We are calling these types of places because we have just lost our beloved pet, and to be told that they have appointments available for Drop Off, is in my opinion, very insensitive. Carrie needs some retraining on compassion. First, she needs to slow down her speaking, so that at least she sounds sincere. But, more importantly she needs to rephrase the "Drop Off" part to something more sensitive, like, I have some appointments available to receive your beloved pet for aftercare. Drop Off sounds more like I'm using disposal service for my pet. Because of this first impression, we chose to use a more compassionate, cremation service.

Our Lola Marie passed away on Halloween. I had no idea what to do and called Precious Pets after hours. I left a message not expecting to hear back until the next morning. But Carrie called me back within 10 minutes. She was so kind and talked me through what I needed to do for the night before they opened the next morning. She was so compassionate and caring through the whole process. She never once was annoyed while I was hyperventilating and sobbing uncontrollably. We lost our 4 year old Cooper so unexpectedly at home and our loss, like any pet owner, was devastating. My relationship with Cooper and his sister was/is extremely deep. I was unable emotionally to handle the transportation of Cooper to a funeral home, so my husband, who is a surgeon in Auburn, took it upon himself to find time in his schedule to do this for me. My husband reported to me that despite not having an appointment, he was able to drop off Cooper for a private cremation. We didn't require an extended amount of time, which probably would have required an appointment and we appreciate this fact, but we are so grateful that we were able to quickly arrange a private cremation for him so we could begin our grieving process privately at home. We lost our Bear Bear unexpectedly early morning on 1/26/22 and Precious Pets was kind enough to fit us in early in the morning. The compassion and genuine respect that they showed for our sweet Bear and family was unmatched. There was no upselling of fancy urns or keepsakes. They let us choose what was best for our family with no pressure to buy more. When our urn that we chose was taking longer than anticipated, they offered to provide us a temporary urn so that we could bring Bear home, where he belonged. Both times, we scheduled an early morning appointment for a private, same day cremation. We went to lunch and were able to bring Sam and Gyspy home by the afternoon.
