Garden of the Pines is a very special place. I would recommend them to anyone. We first became familiar with this place when I was just a young girl and our family was grieving the loss of our beloved "furry family member", Teddy. This was our first real experience with loss (other than some fish , turtles and hamsters which we buried in the backyard) and we were simply beside ourselves. I mean, this was a member of our family and he deserved to be laid to rest in such a way that showed how much we loved him. They were amazing. I will never forget the compassion. Since that time, our family has grown and today, sadly we laid to rest our beloved Oliver, a gift for my parents from the grandchildren nearly fourteen years ago. Garden of the Pines is so wonderful and they truly care for you and your lost loved fur babies. We have trusted them with caring for the final arrangements of Teddy, Debbie, Missy, Cujo, Andy, Lucky, Oliver and even my pet guinea pig Patches, not to mention several others for my brother and his family over the years. Thank you Suzie, Eric and Mike. You helped our family feel important and I can't express how much that means to me.

We recently had our third "furry family member" buried at Garden of the Pines, and we can't begin to tell you how wonderful everyone was at this very difficult time. We drove in from out of state and arrived several hours after closing. Someone was there (I don't remember her name) to greet us and take care of our beloved pet. Everyone was very understanding, patient, and very respectful -

I was able to arrange putting my beloved dog down outdoors at the cemetery. The staff was very nice and understanding. Two days later I had some alone time with Buddy in the Chapel along with a very close friend. We then put him to rest in a plot of my choice and had a small service. As hard as it was, it could not have been any better. I still visit Buddy frequently. The cemetery is beautiful and peaceful.

The office manager Susan Blake is the greatest person, she saw to the needs of our family during this time of loss. The only pet cemetery in the Mid Atlantic. Or even the East coast. They even do one at a time cremations. We are truly happy with how we were treated like family and not just a means for a paycheck. Thought the costs would be enormous, but blessed to see they are at a reasonable rate. We have several pets and they have plots to reserve for ahead of time. Never know when our babieswill be taken from us, but it is an actual Honor to know during this transition our little guy was treated with such care ,and respect.
