On February 10th 2025 you cremated the remains of my German Shepherd Ares. Before his death I spent countless broken hearted days deciding the right choices from planning his euthanasia to his final disposition. I decided I wanted him to be at home when he went and that I could not bring myself to drive him to the funeral home my family had previously used for beloved pets. So in hopes of an easier process, I chose your partner vet care on wheels for his euthanasia and you, Agape pet services for his final disposition! This was extremely important to me. I scraped 480$ together for this process, He was supposed to be returned to me in a wooden picture frame urn. Instead he was carelessly dumped into a cardboard tube with an OPEN hole at the top and returned to me in a gift bag. While I understand cremation may just be part of a normal every day at work for your business, to me losing him has been one of the toughest heartbreaks of my life.He was my very best friend, my protector, the definition of unconditional love and he deserved more ALOT more! His remains deserved to be respected! I deserve to have been given respect and to have closure.Your website states many empathetic promises that were not fulfilled. I cannot begin to express my disappointment. This is all a nightmare.

In January this year, I lost my sweet little poodle, named Fifi. I didn’t know anything about where my veterinarian was going to send my pet for cremation. But when her ashes were returned to me I was overwhelmed at the care and love that went into the return of the ashes. The detailed care was beyond what I expected.I only wish the 2nd vet I went to could have used Agape. In my grief I didn’t ask. When my second pet’s ashes were returned to me I was so distraught and upset. Nothing like Agape. No footprints or lock of hair, she was returned in a plain urn with just a number. I will regret this every time I remember my sweet Daisy. Agape is the beautiful Blue container with the sympathy card, Daisy is just a number in a box. 😢

I️ lost my beloved soul cat unexpectedly last week. Amongst the devastation and heartbreak it was upsetting me so much to not know where her body was, how she was being handled, etc. The vet sent her to Agape and when we got her and her prints back I️ could immediately tell they had taken great care and were extremely respectful. We had gotten her ashes, nose print, paw print, and a handful of her fur. Everything was so nicely done, so well packaged, and included pamphlets with resources about the grieving process. I️ was so relieved to be able to tell she was in kind pet loving hands and the company overall seemed very sympathetic about how hard this process is for the pet owner. They had also done the deed the same day she passed and had her mailed out 2 days later- she was back with us within 5 days. Thank you guys so much for memorializing my sweet girl<3

I usually bury my pets on our family's land. But this was my first time having a pet cremated since I recently moved to the region. I didn't know what to expect, but I found it to be a smooth and compassionate process. Very sweet people. A private cremation comes with a urn, box, or container to spread the ashes. The last option was perfect for me, because I plan to travel with the ashes back to my hometown. Would definitely recommend Agape Pet Services.

I’m updating this because my dog’s package was delivered today. The package is a wonderful tribute to our amazing dog. I was sad I didn’t think to take a tuft of his hair and to my surprise there was one included in the package along with a paw print in a nice display box and a beautiful box with his ashes. This is like losing my dog all over again. We were told his ashes would be delivered by Agape. Instead they were mailed by USPS and are now “stuck” in the “network”. Agape said they were contacting USPS but we’ve heard nothing since. It makes me sick to think my poor boys ashes are sitting in a cold USPS facility. Do better Agape. Get my boy home! I will update this when and if my boy makes it home and IF Agape does something to make this happen and make it right.

Just over a month ago, we received the devastating news that my sweet girl Dobby, had end-stage renal disease. Our vet tried to treat the disease but it was due to her old age not toxicity. So we decided it was best to kept her comfortable at home until the day she showed signs that her quality of life was diminishing. We took her to our local emergency vet, Virginia Veterinary Centers, and they were so kind and compassionate during this whole painful decision. VVC used Agape Pet Services and I could not have been more pleased with the services they provided to us during this extremely difficult time. Dobby was delivered back to us, with such care and compassion. The bags with her and her paw print, so much care. Her box is so beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes how much care was put into her delivery. Even the UPS box was well marked so the delivery person was aware of the contents. You could see the kindness in his eyes as he carefully kept her upright as I signed for her return. I am truly thankful for their services. Agape is a wonderful company that I highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Agape Pet Services enough. When faced with the unfortunate and tragic loss of my mare, Agape walked me through scheduling their services and explained everything to me in great detail. I was told what to expect, and was able to schedule their services in advance of my mare's scheduled euthanasia. I worked with Samantha during this process, and she was considerate, compassionate, and professional. On the day of my mare's passing, Logan was prompt and arrived as scheduled. Unfortunately, my vet ran late that day and Logan had to wait for both the procedure, and for my family to say our final goodbyes. Logan and his assistant waited unobtrusively and respectfully. When I was ready for my mare to be taken to Agape, Logan very skillfully guided his rig to my mare, and gently and with great compassion moved her to his trailer, all while assuring me that as a horse person himself, he understood how important it was to me that my horse was treated with the same dignity in death that she afforded me in life. When it was time for my mare to be picked up, I had concerns with the urn that I received her in. After one email to Samantha, the concern was promptly and entirely addressed, and my issue was rectified in a way that caused absolutely no burden on my very difficult and hectic schedule. Logan went out of his way to make sure that I was not inconvenienced in the slightest, and again was personable, compassionate, and very skilled. It was apparent that Logan takes great pride in his work, which gave me great comfort in the final disposition of my beloved mare.I was already impressed with the service that we received from Agape, Samantha, and Logan, but the way that they handled my small concern was above and beyond the best customer service I have ever experienced.

After the sudden loss of my best friend Zeus. Agape Pet Services was great. They were friendly and empathetic at a time that was extremely tough. The Urn and paw print and frame were beautiful and high quality. They were also extremely friendly and empathetic when I called more than once to make sure my buddy was being taken care of and arrange pick up . You can tell by the quality and presentation that they definitely take pride and ensure your pets remains are care for in a respectful and dignified manner. I would recommend them 100 percent.

Thank you so much for your service for our beloved Sugar. The beautiful box with her ashes is just lovely and the kind and thoughtful card included was much appreciated. This is such a difficult time as we lost our lab that was part of our family for 14 years. We are so glad Journey's End recommended your service.

I recently lost my cat, a sudden and dramatic death I had to put him down. I was and is still truly heartbroken. At the time I barely could pay the expenses of getting him cremated but unfortunately for me that was my only option due to not being able to bury him. I made it happen, and was looking forward to recieving his ashes in the mail for some sort of closure with a nice presentation only to recieve it left out in the open of my apartment mail room. with NO packaging (shipping box or supplies) with the wooden lid MISSING and my poor babies ashes exposed in a bag wrapped with a rubber band. Im not sure as to what happened but I’m not happy w this delivery and it has made my process harder. I was assured this process was going to be dignified and I had a poor experience.

Last week I lost my beautiful cat Cricket, after 19 years together. My vet uses Agape for their cremation services; and I’m so thankful they do. I just received her ashes back and the presentation of her urn and clay paw print is breathtaking. I was expecting just a clay disk for her paw print, but instead it was framed with her name on it. The lettering for her name on the urn is absolutely perfect as well. I feel such a relief now, because I really feel like she was treated with care and dignity. I cannot thank the wonderful people at Agape Cremation enough for their thoughtful handling of my best friend.

We lost our sweet boy, Beavis, very unexpectedly and suddenly. We had him for 8 wonderful years and he was approx. 10 years old when we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. When you lose a best friend, you wanna do right by them. Since we move frequently due to my husband's job, I knew we were going to cremate so that we can take our beloved pet(s) wherever we go and never have to leave them. Having said that, My husband called Agape after leaving the vet to ask what the process was and when we would get our baby's remains, etc. The customer service and care was so heartfelt. We were told the entire process and reassured that our baby would be back with us in just a couple of days. Upon arrival, my expectations were far exceeded. Beavis's remains were in a beautiful wooden carved box with a gold name plate, along with a clay paw print and name plate, a card with his hair in it, certificate of cremation, all tied up in a velvet bag wrapped in bubble wrap in a box that I had to sign for. I sympathize with anyone who has to go through this process, but this company knows how to make it hurt just a little bit less. Highly recommend.

I can’t thank Agape enough for their pick up and cremation services. My old mare and my best friend of 18 years was handled humanely and with incredible dignity. They arrived on time and none of it was rushed and made me feel more at ease knowing the process that followed.I received her ashes in a timely manner and she was received safe and sound, shipped from VA to my current home in Texas! The ashes are well packaged and protected.Thank you so much Agape for your services, it made the pain of losing her a little easier ❤️💔

With the loss of our beloved dog Mickey, my wife and I were in need of peace knowing that our boy was coming home to rest. With great anticipation we awaited his arrival from your company. We both want to thank you for getting him home in such a beautiful and quality fashion. The crafted wooden box containing his ashes, the beautiful framed paw print and the lockets of his hair. We both thank you from our hearts for making this difficult time easier.

After loosing my pet, I just wanted a mode of my pet paws. My pet was sent to Agape Pet Services from Dogwood Vet Hospital. I was told, When the package come, someone will need to sign for it. I received an email from UPS, the package was delivered. Needless to say, I NEVER received my pet paws, Agape said they did not require a signature, and they would contact me after speaking to the UPS manager. I have not heard back from anyone. I called and left message for the manager and still have not heard from her. this place showed me no compassion or concern. Oh well we sent them, there is nothing we can do. That's the attitude I feel I was given. This experience made me feel worst after loosing my pet. How can a Pet Funeral Home be so carefree. I would never recommend anyone using this place after my experience.

I cannot thank Agape staff enough for how beautifully and gently they treated our baby. They’ve truly helped to ease our grieving process with the kindness and patience they’ve shown. The last moments we were able to share with our precious boy are memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Agape was very kind and efficient in handling the cremation service and keepsake for my cat, Zuko. Although it was not something I wanted to do in the slightest, the process was as painless as possible thanks to their staff.

This company was very compassionate and kind during the loss of my beloved cat. Jessica promptly helped me through this tough time and got my Charlie's cremains back to me very fast. A nice surprise was the paw print and fur that was nicely packed as memorials. The urn and nameplate were also lovely. I didn't realize everything would be so nice and I'm so happy to have these to remember Charlie. It was the best experience I've had after the loss of a pet. I highly recommend Agape.

I want to say something about Agape Pet Services and their superior quality of work. I received Pork's ashes back from another company last week. Needless to say, the presentation and lack of attention to detail of their product left me feeling literally disrespected. During a time of mourning the loss of your pet, the last thing you should have to worry about is what their urn will look like. I wanted my cat Pork and my dog Mickey to both have a special place together in my home. Is this even Pork's ashes in here??? I cried. I called Agape. Jessica was compassionate and professional, as I know all the staff would be, and offered to "fix" another companies product. I got my Pork back today, again. I am so thankful for them and their level of expertise on handling aftercare of a beloved family member.

We suddenly lost our sweet Sasha after 11 years last Wednesday night and picked the picture frame urn and I received it back so quickly and was unaware that her name would be beautifully on top! Thank you for taking care of my girl. So happy and grateful to have her home 😭🐾🖤!

We lost our baby at the emergency vet (VVC Midlothian, who I Do Not recommend) and they said she would be cremated with Agape. I was so anxious knowing her remains were going to be mailed to us, not knowing when she would come. while it did take 10 days to get her back, what we got was worth it. She came in a beautiful hand carved box, with her paw print and what really means a lot to me, a ziploc bag of her hair. They also provided pamphlets about pet grief that are extremely validating. I had so much anxiety about Nina’s urn being ugly and had been so upset I didn’t have her hair(I know it sounds weird). But I am so glad they provided such wonderful service, especially since the vet was so awful. Thank you Agape.

We highly recommend Agape Pet Services. We recently lost our Pug and they were very fast to get her back to us and the presentation was great. She came in a nice, wood box with an engraved plaque, a clay paw imprint with her name on it, a certificate stating it's her all bundled in a nice, blue velvet bag. While we never dealt with them in person, our vet sends cremations to them and spoke very highly of them.

Words cannot express the gratitude my husband and I have for Agape Pet Services. We lost a very loved member of our family this past week, and making the decision to have Agape handle his cremation was one we have felt nothing but positivity and peace about. The woman I spoke to on the phone was incredibly patient and kind, despite the fact that I could barely speak a few sentences in between tears while making arrangements. Tom arrived to pick up our beloved Delmar from our home, and was not only patient and understanding as well, but also radiated a love and empathy for animals that made us feel so at peace knowing we were passing our loved one into his hands. When my husband called to follow up on our decisions regarding cremation the next morning, the woman he spoke to (I believe the same one I had) referred to Delmar by name and instilled him also with a sense of peace that he was in good hands. I can not thank Agape enough.

We just got home from having our chihuahua, Lily, cremated by your guys in Virginia and we were very impressed. The staff was excellent to work with, explained everything, and made the whole process not a sad experience but a happy one. Lily died suddenly and it was very hard on us but the compassion shown to us was incredible. We felt as if we were there with friends! We got our Lily back today and her nose and footprints and an urn.Thank you so much for your caring and professionalism and for our new friends.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with this company. Experienced a tragic loss of a large dog recently and the people at this facility handled my circumstances with such grace and respect and for that I am very grateful. From the moment we arrived the warm and humble welcome, the assistance provided getting him from our vehicle to a viewing room and handling the simple logistics of it all with ease made me feel so much better. I was very surprised at the cost as they are also incredibly reasonable and the staff are very courteous and compassionate about each situation. It’s not a circumstance that i want to see any pet owner go through, however if you are in the unfortunate need where you lose a four legged loved one, highly recommend this place and feel comfortable referring people under such touch circumstances. God speed my furry legged friends 🐾

I recently had my pet cat Marceau cremated, and Agape Pet Services did a wonderful job. The wooden box with the engraved plaque was high-quality, and I appreciated the hand-written note from Samantha Taylor that ensured that he was individually cremated. I will definitely use Agape again, and wholeheartedly recommend their services to others.

I cannot say enough positive comments about how Agape handled the cremation of our beloved kitty, whom had been in our family for 18 years. Agape was professional and very sensitive during the entire process. They made sure that everything was exactly the way that we wanted for it to be, and they were incredibly fast as well. They made sure that we were comfortable and secure in knowing that all cremations were kept separate, and we had confirmation with a number just as with a person. The facility is beautiful and quiet, and they have a great deal of choices for urns if you choose to have one. The urn (and there are a lot of choices there) is beautiful and personalized.I highly recommend using Agape for cremation services if you are in the Richmond area. I know that there are only a few facilities for this service, but you will not be disappointed with Agape. They helped to make a very stressful and sad time a bit brighter. Thank you all so much for all of your care with our Jenga.

We lost our sweet Diesel unexpectedly Thursday around 3pm. We rushed to get to Agape before they closed, we live about 45 mins away. We literally arrived at 3:59pm when they close at 4pm. They were so kind & let us say one last goodbye, we never felt rushed. I ordered additional items on their website that night. I called the next day at 9ish to see when he would be ready & asked if they could do expedite his return. They called me back & said they could with an additional cost - which is completely understandable since I am asking them to rush. I asked for a return call to let me know he when he was ready, they called & we headed their way. They were so compassionate when we arrived to pick up what’s left of our sweet boy. I cannot wait until our beads coming in a few weeks. Thank you to all of the staff that assisted with our pets cremation & us with mourning. ♥️

There are no words to describe what amazing people work there. Agape pet services and especially their manager Jessica went above and beyond to make sure we had a proper goodby with our beloved Tosya. They took unbelievable care of her body, and during the viewing she looked so peaceful, as if she was just asleep.I can't even describe the level of compassion and professionalism we have received from them. As we were saying the last goodby, Jessica said to us "I know how hard it is, but I promise I will take care of her as my own". My heart melted, these words gave me such peace. I knew that our baby girl was in best hands possible. Thank you so much for that Jessica. Thank you to all the wonderful people who are taking care of our fur babies' last journeys.Thank you so much, we will forever remember your kindness!

Just wanted to say thank you to this company for the services they provided for our sweet Roxy. I was completely surprised but incredibly grateful to have received a paw print of hers. Perhaps in my grief I did not realize it was a part of the service, all I know is that it was such an incredible thing to receive. Our family is very thankful for the care and return of our beloved girl.

PLEASE BE SURE that if you are ordering a clay paw print of your beloved pet, that you ask about it, triple or quadruple confirm that it is in fact going to happen and when you will receive it. Agape dropped the ball on this for us BIG TIME. We coordinated our pet's pick up and cremation and confirmed and paid $35 for a clay paw print to have for memory's sake. After about 2 weeks, I called to see where the Clay Paw Print was, and Agape called the next day stating that they never knew that we wanted one. WAS THE PAYMENT AND VERBAL CONFIRMATION NOT ENOUGH? Agape never had us fill out any paperwork or anything. Everything was done over the phone. Wouldn't the $35 I paid indicate that I wanted a paw print?? I was so caught off guard by the detrimental call, that I forgot to get the lady's name that I spoke with. She was unapologetic and didn't seem to care at all that I was emotional about not only not receiving something that I had paid for (It's not about the money at all) but that I TRUSTED this company with a final memory and token of my dog, and they failed MISERABLY. Everything else was fine -- but just know they show up to your home in a Penske truck. That was a little jarring.

Agape Pet Services provided astounding services after the passing of my fur baby. I want to personally thank Christy for taking time out her day to meet me onsite, and for displaying such compassion and concern during the transitioning and planning process of my lil' ones remains. I am recommending everyone to this facillity for the compassionate services provided during my bereavement. ONE OF A KIND!, DEFINITELY A A CLASS ACT!..

I'm grateful that Agape is so thoughtful and passionate about the services they provide. I had such a comforting experience of pet cremation after losing my Japanese Chin that I utilized their services again after my recent loss of my little darling teacup Chihuahua. I highly recommend them.

During one of the hardest days of our lives, losing our beloved pitbull Lola, the staff at Agape - especially Jessica - went above and beyond to make the process as easy as possible for us. The compassion and care they show in their services make it obvious that they are all pet-lovers as well. The peace of mind in knowing that your best friend is still being cared for is priceless. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I wasn't even aware what would happen to my beloved companion of 13 years, Remo, when I asked that he be cremated after he passed away on the way to the vet 12 days ago. I received his ashes yesterday in a beautiful wood box with personalized plaque; and his paw print and name on a clay disk. By this delicate presentation I am convinced he was treated with gentle loving hands and a respect he overwhelmingly earned on this earth. THANK YOU.
Amanda Peyton
I received my sweet girl today and it was way above and beyond my expectations. Thank you so much for doing this kind and loving work. Truly thankful❤️

Agape is inexcusably irresponsible with items. I ordered a glass bead which they were 8 weeks behind on having made. I moved during this time and notified agape and was told they would call me when they received the bead. They NEVER called and when I called them was told they sent it to my vet (no longer my vet). The vet can’t seem to find the bead now…..and I’m appalled at the rudeness with which I was treated when I called back regarding this item. Never EVER use this company if you want any form of personalized service or accountability. Extremely disappointed.

Our child Sukki Bell came home today. The framed paw and beautiful urn was just priceless. We thank you guys very much for taking care of our 4 legged baby!

I was supposed to have 4 paw prints and only received one. Obviously this is something that cannot be rectified. The paw print I did receive wasn’t very well done at all. You can barely make out that it’s a paw. It’s in a flimsy dollar store frame. Not very professional. I would never, ever use this business again. I can’t even try and replicate it because it’s so poorly done. You would think they would have some pride in their work with the seriousness and sensitivity of the product. These are mistakes that are forever. Horrible business. Disgusting.

I would like to thank the entire staff, for their professionalism. Our family was at a lost with the passing of our golden retriever (Ginger). The team took us under their wings and guided us thru this. I have never seen such a caring team of great people. Thank you so much.

My mother just received the ashes from her Chihuahua “Lil Bit”. He was in a beautiful wooden box and there was a lovely card. It meant so much to her as previous pets were received in plastic containers.

I don't recommend you call this place I lost my dog unexpectedly and called there was no empathy no care shown when I called was told I need money straight up in a very rude tone and I asked if there was any where else again guy was rude said no and good bye I was already hurting to be treated with this disrespect is completely unacceptable called for

Wanted to be food adventurous without leaving the country so we came here.Be forewarned- horse is only cooked WELL DONE.our horseburger was badly charred but I suppose it builds character. The smoke really lures people in so avoid busy times. Outdoor dining.

I will be forever grateful to Agape, for everything they did for my beloved Chihuahua, three years ago. I really feel in my soul, that Agape treated my pet, better than the funeral homes, for human's.

I recently lost my dog Jordan. The urn and framed paw print are so beautiful. The turn around time was super fast.
