KIND, COMPASSIONATE, WONDERFUL.I cannot say enough good about Logan and Zane and the help they provide. I called late on a Friday, and Zane kindly and helpfully took the time to guide me through options of approach over the phone, and even gave me valuable information to help choose another service provider closer to me, if I desired.When I brought my beloved pup to the site, I was greeted kindly and compassionately by Zane's brother, Logan, and I was able to have as much time with my loved one as I needed, and be as involved in the process as I chose to be.I cannot recommend these folks highly enough. It has only been 1 day since my dog passed away. My vet recommended them and we are so glad we went with them. Logan was so very compassionate during our initial and follow-up calls. He waited patiently outside until we were ready for him to take our girl.Today, we went to pick up her ashes and were pleasantly surprised to see the caring placement of her fur. It wasn't just thrown in a bag, every strand was perfectly placed as if we were looking at our dog. Everything was Perfect. Thank you so very much for caring for our dog the way we loved her.

I am very happy with how rainbow Bridge handled the cremation of my cat max. I called their main office and spoke with Zane and I was able to get in touch with the crematory itself and deliver my beloved boy to them. Once I was there Logan handled him with the utmost care and answered any question I had and was very compassionate for my loss. The communication was great, plus they were very time-effective of helping me get my boy back home.

I‘m deeply grateful to Rainbow Bridge. I suddenly had to say goodbye to my friend, who had been with me for 15 years. I was at a loss. When I spoke with Logan, I received a lot of comfort. He clearly loves animals and was very patient with me. After Memorial Day, I contacted Zane to arrange the farewell day at Rainbow Bridge. Zane was professional and accommodating, which helped ease my difficulties throughout the week. Today, I bid farewell to her. Thanks to Logan's consideration, I was able to spend enough time with my beloved pet before saying our final goodbyes. I have nothing but positive things to saw about Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. Our beloved girl Sasha passed away yesterday morning and Zane was quick to come and get her from us. Our poor dog passed very suddenly and traumatically. I didn’t know what to do and Rainbow Bridge was the first place I called. There was no judgment, just sympathy and compassion. They retrieved my dog the next morning after telling us how to handle the situation. There are no words to say how thankful I am for them. We drove an hour away to retrieve our dog’s ashes. Along with with ashes in a lovely box, they gave us clippings of his fur, a vial, and six paw prints we would give to our closest friends and family. It doesn’t my heart well to know they took such good care and respect his remains. It was well worth the price.

I can't say enough good things about Rainbow Bridge! They provide a extorinary service for a very difficult time. Their compassion for your furbabies is above and beyond anything I've ever seen. I've used their service numerous times in the past ,and as recent as yesterday. They definitely take alot of burden off in a painful time. They treat your fur babies like they are their own. We lost our cat in December that has been with us the better part of 16 years. We were devastated but the crew at Rainbow Bridge Pet Services handled our case with care and compassion. We dropped our beloved boy off with them on a Thursday afternoon. Rainbow Bridge did the cremation Friday morning so we had him back by Friday afternoon. It was a private cremation and they even offered to let us be present at the cremation if we wanted to. They provided a beautiful Rosewood box for his ashes, hair clipping, and a small memory vial of ashes along with the certificate of cremation and a poem. We paid $25 extra for a clay paw print which we thought was very reasonable and we’re so glad we got it. Rainbow Bridge is a smaller family run business and they provided this service for a reasonable cost – the same or better price than many of the larger facilities that take weeks to return the ashes. They did a beautiful job and we would recommend them to anyone in need.

The compassion and empathy my family received from Logan & Zane helped make this overwhelming process an easier. This was my first loss so I didn’t have a clear idea of what steps needed to be taken. Making calls very late into the evening, Logan was a guiding light for us. He was so caring, pointed us in the right direction, and gave us all of the resources & answers we were looking for.We met Zane a few days later who treated us with the same level of support. Beyond that, he cared for our loved one with the utmost respect and warmth. We picked up our “kitcat” after cremation and she was perfect. We sent her off in her goodbye box that her laid to rest in a bed of mini roses, so when we got her back and opened the box, there she was, with a mini Rose & all 🌹 Her arrival back to us couldn’t have been any more perfect.Thank you to Logan and Zane. You gentlemen, have a set the standard and are exceptional executing the work that you do. They absolutely made this process better for my family and I.Again, I didn’t know what to expect this time, but when the time comes where we need this service again, we will be using Rainbow Bridge 🌈♥️

I can't say enough about how great this experience was in spite of our loss. Zane walked us through every step of the way with a ton of empathy and even picked up our pet free of charge as he happened to be in the area. Over and above and very thankful for Rainbow Bridge during a stressful time.

Our dog Lucky just passed yesterday, something that was too sudden to even process, still…. It took my family a while to say our goodbyes and by then most of the other places were closed.Thank goodness for Rainbow Bridge Pet Services, they were helpful, accommodating and so sweet. We dropped him off last night around 8pm and by this afternoon Logan called, saying that Lucky’s box will be ready around 3pm. I’ve never had to arrange a funeral or dealt with death first hand like this, so being able to find a trusted place that was quick and efficient made a world of a different. Thank you again Logan, for your patience and service. The best thing people can do for others is providing their honest and helpful service when it’s needed most, and you sure did that for Lucky and my family. I can never thank you enough.

When we lost our 3 year old dachshund Bear we were devastated. We called Rainbow Bridge and were given the option of having Bear picked up or delivering him ourselves. We opted to deliver him. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the handling of Bear and also us. Our grief was fresh and were in a fog. John laid out all of our options and made decision making easy for us while reminding us of things we would have forgotten in our fog of shock.We dropped him off at noon and had him back home before dinner the SAME DAY!It helped tremendously to have him home while grieving. If ever you are in need of pet cremation Rainbow Bridge is a place I would highly recommend. They truly care for you and your fur baby. They also offer beautiful jewelry that is made with your babies ashes added for a wearable memorial. Beautiful and affordable. Thank you Mr Lender for caring for my baby and my fragile heart.

From the minute we contacted Logan, he was nothing but sympathetic and helpful. We lost our cat, Steven unexpectedly and Logan was so helpful and caring. It was a Sunday night and we were able to meet with him to have our cat cremated. Logan explained the process and allowed us to stay with Steven for as long as we wanted. Thank you Rainbow Bridge Pet Services.... We lost our sweet cat TJ suddenly and decided last minute to have him privately cremated. I spoke to Zane and he made the experience so easy. He was so efficient, responsive, and caring. It’s unfortunate we had to meet in these terms, but the outcome was everything I expected and more. The only negative is if the distance is out of range, then you may have to pay extra for mileage or drive yourself. But the positive outweighed the negative. We recommend their services and will use them again if another unfortunate situation happens again. :(

Both times I spoke with Zane on the phone to inquire and set up arrangements for our Beloved Zoey, Zane was very professional and patient on helping me figure things out.We chose to be present to say our final goodbyes to Zoey. I would like to recognize and thank Logan for the compassion and empathy he showed to our family and three pets in a span of three months. Logan showed genuine care and attention to detail each time. Their whole process is dignified - from their compassionate service to time to say a final goodbye to the hand-carved wooden urn, paw print, hair clipping, certificate, vial of ashes, and rainbow bridge poem. John is nothing but AMAZING! My sweet greedy bird passed over on a Sunday, after calling multiple places closer to where I live, John answered immediately and calmed my “hot mess” self down. After letting my other birds and dogs say goodbye John even offered for me to bring him at that very moment! He walked me through the process and less then 24 hours later my beautiful baby was back home in his resting spot!As much as I never want to say goodbye to any of my fur babies, They will always be my go to place!Plus the ride is beautiful and peaceful!

I lost my good buddy very early in the morning two days ago. I was devastated and knew I wanted my boy treated with compassion. I'm so happy I found Rainbow Bridge. I emailed them and got a response from Zane right away and he put me in touch with Logan. I was able to drop off Cj later the same day and I already have him back. We were caught off guard that our guinea pig, "Charlie" was sick (He was fine one day, and the next day, he was gone.). Our daughter was absolutely devastated by his quick passing. Because she was so attached to him, and he was such a HUGE part of our family, we wanted a way to always remember him. So, we contacted Rainbow Bridge Pet Services to see what they could offer. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience after suddenly losing one of our dogs. It was after business hours and our vet had already closed for the evening. Logan and Zane were incredibly kind and prompt, even though it was 8pm at night.I met Logan to drop off my Golden’s remains with my 9 year old son. Logan was gentle and patient, but also knowledgeable and answered every question we had, even the curious ones from my son which he did with such grace.Rainbow Bridge was able to have our pups ashes back to us the very next day. The wooden urn is beautiful, the extra glass vials of ashes were delicately put together and the paw print was carefully crafted. They clearly take great pride in their work.We have had a few dogs pass away in our life time, but this is the first time we’ve used Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. My 16 year old Yorkie Gracee passed away this week. She was my baby and meant the world to my family and I. I reached out to Zane the day of her passing and he told me what to do and provided me excellent service during this most difficult time. Rainbow Bridge Pet Services was wonderful during the difficult process of saying goodbye to my longtime companion Tux. They allowed me the ability to bring him to their crematorium myself and bring him home that day. So that I knew it was my boy Tux who I brought home. Unexpectedly we lost our sweet guinea pig Leo. We will miss his chirps and squeaks of delight. After searching the web I came across their webpage and called them and talked to Zane. He understood the pain that we were feeling. We took our Leo out to the site in Lovettsville and they took care of the cremation for us. I was overwhelmed when I picked him back up today. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. We made the difficult decision to help our beloved dog cross the Rainbow Bridge. After the vet left the house, John came and collected her body. Less than 24 hours later he returned to our house with a beautiful hand-carved urn containing her ashes. We also received a little plastic baggy with some of her fur, a small vial with some of her ashes and a paw print.John was very professional and comforting during a very difficult time of loss for our family. I used Rainbow Bridge Pet services nearly two years ago and I still treasure the experience. I was getting a necropsy done away from home and per the lab's protocal, I could not have my rabbit's body returned to me. Rainbow Bridge did a wonderful job ensuring her body was taken care of and returned to me. I was aware of each step of the process as it happened, which was especially nice since she was so far from home.They were absolutely wonderful through a really tough situation and I would absolutely recommend to a friend, or use their services again. Fairly priced for the priceless gift of caring for your loved critters remains and the memorial pieces they include.

My husband and I worked with Zane to plan and prepare for the end of life services for our 14 year old pittie, Skya. Little did we know that just 2 short weeks later our 7 yr old Staffie would lose his battle with cancer, and we would need Zane sooner than we thought. Less than 12 hours later we were once again on the way to the Life Center in Leesburg to say goodbye to our tough old girl, Skya. Never in my wildest nightmares' did we think of losing both our sweet babies within 24 hours. As pet owners of sick fur babies, you know what's to come. You plan for it, and try to prepare for that day as best you can. Nothing can prepare you for the heartbreak...nothing. However, the sliver of sunshine was Zane and his brother Logan. Even through their own family emergency, they were right there when we called; each and every time, offering their condolences, as they were just as shocked as we were. Their professionalism and love of our pets meant the world to us. When you have to think about your pet's humane aftercare, these are the only people I would trust.

This place and the people that work there are a true blessing. I had to say goodbye to by furbaby pretty suddenly. I knew I was going to do in home services and wanted to have her cremated. When looking through all the options in the area, this place stuck out. When I read the Winnie the Pooh quote on their website I knew immediately this was the right place to make sure my baby was taken care of. They really do answer the phone 24/7. They are compassionate, caring people. They went above and beyond to make me as informed and involved as possible. I can not recommend them enough in such a difficult time. When its time for me to say good bye to our other fur babies we will absolutely be using them.

Yesterday we lost our beloved Micky, my best friend of thirteen years. He was old, but it happened suddenly, and no matter how prepared I tried to be for that moment, I wasn’t. I called the place I originally planned to use, just to find out they did a send away service which would take 10 or so days. The service provided through the vet was similar. I could not imagine that wait, or that thought, so I called places…Zane got back to me incredibly fast. And after a couple discussions we ended up keeping him with us for the night, and driving him ourselves to their location in WV (it was actually an easy, and nice drive from the DMV) this morning. Logan was waiting for us there, had such a calming and friendly presence. For what is an extremely sad, morbid experience - he made me feel comfortable. He talked us through the process, let’s us spend whatever time we wanted / needed with our boy. I left after I said my goodbyes and my husband stayed with Logan. He let us pick whatever toys we wanted to send him off with too. They had a whole trailer for us to use, to get some much needed sleep after a sleepless night, with drinks, bathroom, etc. It was an unexpected addition to the service they were already providing us. I was unsure about my choice to take his body with us and then bring him there ourselves the next day, but all involved were super helpful and supportive and I wouldn’t change a thing about my decision. I felt like I had extra time to say goodbye, and it is an irreplaceable gift to have had that when I look back on it. Thank you guys

When he passed away I was so full of sorrow, but also filled with anxiety because I didn't have anything planned for his final resting place. This was my first full responsible pet so I was clueless on my options for cremation. I contacted 3 places and Rainbow Bridge replied to me the very next day. They made the whole process simple and stress free. It felt like I was talking to an acquaintance rather than a business. The decor on the box is beautiful and I was surprised to see a clipping of my baby boy's fur. It was very touching. Im very thankful for all they've done to help me and my boy.

I just had to put my almost 17 year old cat to sleep this past weekend. It was obviously a devastating experience and although I knew I wanted her cremated, I hadn't looked into it too much until the day I learned she had to leave us. Fortunately, Rainbow Bridge Pet Services popped up on a google search that morning and I called them right away. Despite being a Saturday, they answered promptly and were caring and thoughtful. After we visited the vet, I spoke with Logan on the phone who explained when and where to meet his father John, the owner. John was prompt, friendly and caring when we brought Bella. On Monday, Logan called to let us know Bella was ready to be picked up. Although it was shocking for me to go pick up her remains, it was obvious she had been taken care of. The hand carved box is beautiful and the pieces of fur, vial of ashes, and paw print were also beautifully prepared. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the dignified way they helped my girl have an honorable ending. Thank you so much Rainbow Bridge.

In the past we would allow our vet to send our deceased cats off to a large crematory for supposedly private cremations. But we were always uncertain that the ashes returned to us were truly those of our companions.At Rainbow Bridge, John gave us an incredible gift by allowing us to attend the cremation process for two of our sweet senior cats who recently died within a week of each other. He treated us like friends and answered all of our questions.The wooden urns he supplies are also beautiful and unique.For us there was enormous closure and comfort in attending this final process, and as mentioned, peace of mind from the certainy that these ashes are theirs. Our dog Lucky just passed yesterday, something that was too sudden to even process, still…. It took my family a while to say our goodbyes and by then most of the other places were closed.Thank goodness for Rainbow Bridge Pet Services, they were helpful, accommodating and so sweet. We dropped him off last night around 8pm and by this afternoon Logan called, saying that Lucky’s box will be ready around 3pm. I’ve never had to arrange a funeral or dealt with death first hand like this, so being able to find a trusted place that was quick and efficient made a world of a different. Thank you again Logan, for your patience and service. The best thing people can do for others is providing their honest and helpful service when it’s needed most, and you sure did that for Lucky and my family. I can never thank you enough.

When we lost our 3 year old dachshund Bear we were devastated. We called Rainbow Bridge and were given the option of having Bear picked up or delivering him ourselves. We opted to deliver him. From the moment we arrived we were impressed with the handling of Bear and also us. Our grief was fresh and were in a fog. John laid out all of our options and made decision making easy for us while reminding us of things we would have forgotten in our fog of shock.We dropped him off at noon and had him back home before dinner the SAME DAY!It helped tremendously to have him home while grieving. From the minute we contacted Logan, he was nothing but sympathetic and helpful. We lost our cat, Steven unexpectedly and Logan was so helpful and caring. Thank you Rainbow Bridge Pet Services.... We lost our sweet cat TJ suddenly and decided last minute to have him privately cremated. I spoke to Zane and he made the experience so easy. He was so efficient, responsive, and caring. It’s unfortunate we had to meet in these terms, but the outcome was everything I expected and more. The only negative is if the distance is out of range, then you may have to pay extra for mileage or drive yourself. But the positive outweighed the negative. We recommend their services and will use them again if another unfortunate situation happens again. :(

Both times I spoke with Zane on the phone to inquire and set up arrangements for our Beloved Zoey, Zane was very professional and patient on helping me figure things out.We chose to be present to say our final goodbyes to Zoey. If you’re reading this trying to make a decision, I’m very sorry for your loss. We came home to our cat Betty who had passed completely unexpected and wanted to share how pleased we are with Rainbow Bridge. John was there to pick her up within 20 minutes of us reaching out to him as we also live outside Lovettsville. Having to say goodbye to this wonderful family member was one of the hardest things we ever had to do. We spoke with Zane and instantly got a good feeling about how Rainbow Bridge cared about our pet and all the sadness and emotions we were feeling. We knew our Hunter would be treated with the utmost care and dignity he so deserved. We coordinated the timing of the Vet arriving and Zane coming to pick him up. Having him pass in his own home with family was important to us. We met John who was also very comforting to us and how he handled the Cremation. It touched our hearts for John to tell us our Hunter was a good looking dog,When we went to pick up Hunter's ashes the beauty of the area made us feel good that our Bluetick Hound would have loved the land and had that hound dog nose to ground in delight roaming the area. Our girl left us during her surgery. It was truly unexpected and we were left with our beloved girl getting cold in our hands. We definitely did not want to leave her with the vet as we were told that it would take a good week until she could be cremated. We quickly looked up for private cremation and came across Rainbow Bridge. It was more than an hour away from our place but a 5.0 rating from more than 50 reviews was more than enough for us to decide to give them a shot. We called the number and was greeted cordially by Zane. He was very welcoming and we could schedule a time slot the very next morning. What we appreciated the most from the Rainbow Bridge is that they let us participate in all process. We were able to trim a part of our girl's hair ourselves, print one of the paws on the clay ourselves, and even turn on the switch on the machine with our fingers. We were even allowed to stay during the cremation but it was too painful to watch so we had to leave and stay in the car. We really appreciated Rainbow Bridge allowing us to do everything ourselves. We cannot stress how important it was to us. The sorrow and the pain were unimaginable but having the job done ourselves really gave us huge comfort. Not to forget, the little jars for the hair and part of the ashes along with their rosewood urns are beautiful. I can't recommend Rainbow Bridge enough.

Rainbow Bridge was fantastic and caring during such a difficult time. They were able to retrieve my pet with no notice early in the morning on a Sunday, and his remains were delivered to my home the next day in a beautiful box with a pawprint keepsake and some hair - neither of which I remembered to ask for, but was very thankful that they provided. Although I would love to never need their services, I would definitely use Rainbow Bridge again and would recommend to anyone who has to say goodbye to their fur babies.

Zane and John were absolutely wonderful! Zane was very professional and caring on the phone and helped figured out the best way to get our sweet little pup, Little bear, taken care of. When arriving to drop Little bear off John was wonderful! September I had to make a very hard decision and have our beloved dog, Miss Eve put to sleep. We wanted her passing not stressful and to be were she was comfortable and relaxed,to be surrounded by her family that loved her, so we chose to have a vet come to our home.Another decision was my girls didn’t want her to be buried so a week before her passing after a few different calls I called Rainbow Bridge. Carol was just great at answering my questions and concerns. Her compassion was greatly appreciated, you won’t come across anyone better than Carol.John arrived at my house at the time that I had arranged. He patiently sat in his van till we were ready to let Eve go. John could very clearly see how upset we all were, he talked to my girls about different dog stories at his kennel that he also owns. We said one more goodbye and John offered his condolences and very gentle carried her to his truck.Two days later John brought Eve home, he came into my home and showed me everything that had been done.You will not find anyone more compassionate in how he handles and does his work.Thank you Carol and John for everything ❤️

Losing a pet is never easy and during such a difficult time I am glad I was able to find Rainbow Bridge pet service. We wanted to be able to bring our Ozzy back home once he passed so our other pups could say goodbye. We called on Saturday morning and Zane picked up the phone walking us through the process. He helped answer all our questions and made us comfortable knowing that our Ozzy would be treated with care and respect. We met John the owner later that day when we dropped off Ozzy and his kind words helped ease some of the pain knowing we had to say goodbye to our boy. Just knowing that this kind person who loves animals as much as we do was the one taking care of this process just confirmed that I made the right decision in reaching out to them. The drive was beautiful and calming and when we picked up his ashes on Monday the staff at the office was so kind to us and offered their condolences. While we hope that we will not have to use them again anytime soon we do know that if we do they will be the ones that we go to for all our pets. John is nothing but AMAZING! My sweet greedy bird passed over on a Sunday, after calling multiple places closer to where I live, John answered immediately and calmed my “hot mess” self down. After letting my other birds and dogs say goodbye John even offered for me to bring him at that very moment! We were caught off guard that our guinea pig, "Charlie" was sick (He was fine one day, and the next day, he was gone.). Our daughter was absolutely devastated by his quick passing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience after suddenly losing one of our dogs. It was after business hours and our vet had already closed for the evening. Logan and Zane were incredibly kind and prompt, even though it was 8pm at night.I met Logan to drop off my Golden’s remains with my 9 year old son. Logan was gentle and patient, but also knowledgeable and answered every question we had, even the curious ones from my son which he did with such grace.Rainbow Bridge was able to have our pups ashes back to us the very next day. The wooden urn is beautiful, the extra glass vials of ashes were delicately put together and the paw print was carefully crafted. They clearly take great pride in their work.We have had a few dogs pass away in our life time, but this is the first time we’ve used Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. My 16 year old Yorkie Gracee passed away this week. She was my baby and meant the world to my family and I. I reached out to Zane the day of her passing and he told me what to do and provided me excellent service during this most difficult time. Rainbow Bridge Pet Services was wonderful during the difficult process of saying goodbye to my longtime companion Tux. They allowed me the ability to bring him to their crematorium myself and bring him home that day. So that I knew it was my boy Tux who I brought home. Unexpectedly we lost our sweet guinea pig Leo. We will miss his chirps and squeaks of delight. After searching the web I came across their webpage and called them and talked to Zane. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. We made the difficult decision to help our beloved dog cross the Rainbow Bridge. After the vet left the house, John came and collected her body. Less than 24 hours later he returned to our house with a beautiful hand-carved urn containing her ashes. We also received a little plastic baggy with some of her fur, a small vial with some of her ashes and a paw print.John was very professional and comforting during a very difficult time of loss for our family. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful place. I have never had a pet cremated before but there is truly no better way to honor your beloved pet. I am so happy that my sister found this place. My darling, sweetest beloved Lulu passed away after 17 long and beautiful years. Being 25 that is most of my life so I am absolutely heart broken and devastated. That being said , the rainbow bridge pet services crew has made the pain manageable and has made the grieving process as easy as it can get. My beloved girl passed away at a late hour in which I called RBPS and a very nice guy named Logan picked up and comforted me letting me know 17 was a good long life to live as we made arrangements to have my girl picked up in the morning. He was very kind and compassionate all the way through. It truly takes special people to do these jobs. When he came to pick her up that morning he greeted me asking how I was holding up and he even listened to a story I had about Lulu and looked at a picture I had taken of her playing during her last evening alive, he really helped make the process gentle on me. He graciously walked me through the entire process and let me know when I could pick up my beloved girl. I picked her up yesterday from such a gorgeous and peaceful location. Her urn is absolutely stunning. I couldn’t be happier that that is her resting place. The presentation of the beautiful little vile of Ashes as well as a lovely poem. I know she was in amazing hands that cared for her loved and respected her as much as I do as soon as she was no longer in my hands. This place did an amazing job honoring my beautiful little girl. My sweet boy Gunner unexpectedly passed just after midnight on 11/13/20. My husband called Rainbow Bridge and John was at my house an hour later. He was very nice and compassionate. He went over all the details with us. We were able to pick up Gunner's ashes the same day. John put his ashes in a beautiful wooden urn box and he did clay paw prints of his front paws. We also got a small vial of ashes, hair clipping and a certificate of cremation. We could not have had a better experience. It was the only good part of the worst day of my life. My daughter slept on the couch for most of a month with our cat to keep him warm and be with him as Alex's health failed him. When Alex let us know it was time, I called Rainbow Bridge Pet services. They picked up the first time I called despite the pandemic and the time being after 6 pm. Even more, they were ready to help us through Alex's last moments THE NEXT MORNING. My dog Lucky ( German Shepherd) passed suddenly on a early Sunday evening. I chose Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. Our family members don't pass away on business hours. Rainbow Bridge offers 24/7 service. The fees were very reasonable for the exceptional service we received. There is a transportation fee if you want your pet picked up. I was in no shape to bring Lucky to them. The person who picked up my baby was great. He was caring, compassionate and professional.Carol, the point of contact the whole time was great too. She was caring and explained everything that was happening. I didn't feel like a number, I felt like a person. They cremate same day and he was home a day later to us. The urn is beautiful, the vial of ashes, for jewelry, rainbow bridge poem, his very detailed cemented paw print and his hair was great, but made me cry more. Lucky had a private cremation (no others with him).Rainbow Bridge Pet Services offered exceptional services for my furry family member. It is a hard time, but they took a little stress out of it.Thank you all for taking care of Lucky and his family.I would recommend their services over anyones elses.

My husband, Scott, organized everything with John regarding the passing of our pup Marvey. I was too upset to talk on the phone. John was lovely and made everything simple for us. He picked up our Marvey after euthanasia and his ashes were ready for pick up so quickly. Marvey's ashes came in a nice box and we got a lovely sample of his fur. Earlier this month, my wife and I said goodbye to our cat, Gus, after 14 years. The day I was going to take him to the Vet., I called Rainbow Bridge and talked with Carol, to arrange for Gus's cremation. She explained how their service worked and provided me with options on how I wanted to proceed. John, the owner of Rainbow Bridge, picked up Gus's remains at the Vet. less than 1 hour after Gus was put to sleep. Two days later I received Gus's ashes in a beautiful wooden urn along with a small bag of his fur clippings, and a small vile of ashes. Also included was a copy of the Rainbow Bridge Poem with words of sympathy added. We then received a sympathy card in the mail. Both John and Carol obviously know what it means to lose a pet. We really appreciated their understanding, compassion, and caring. A great company!

He understood the gravity of my loss, he laid out every honest detail about the process of cremation, he gave the family history of the business, he offered information without any pressure.I chose to drive my girl's body out to Rainbow Bridge in Lovettsville and even found solace in the lovely and picturesque drive. Zane was there to greet us and explained that her body would need to come down to room temperature which would take a few days.On the day of Genie's cremation, I was able to be on-site at the west virginia location where I met John and Scott who both comforted me with their sincerity, their hospitality, their dogs, and more. I was able to hold my girl's paw one last time, and talk to her in the quiet privacy that the Rainbow Bridge team offered us. I took a walk while the cremation was occurring, and when I returned, I had arrived too early. John was still working at a table and hadn't seen me. But I could see him, carefully, METICULOUSLY, packaging up my Genie's ashes. I watched as his hands gently tied a ribbon around each vial, he carefully smoothed the tissue paper, he very gently placed the bag of ashes in the carved, wooden box. And I thought to myself... This. This was the definitely the right choice.Rainbow Bridge didn't only provide a service, they provided a full experience. One that gave me peace and closure. How can you ever put a price on that?I am comforted knowing I saw every place my girl's body went, and met every person who handled it, and saw that they handled it with such care. I used Rainbow Bridge Pet services nearly two years ago and I still treasure the experience. I was getting a necropsy done away from home and per the lab's protocal, I could not have my rabbit's body returned to me. Rainbow Bridge did a wonderful job ensuring her body was taken care of and returned to me. I was aware of each step of the process as it happened, which was especially nice since she was so far from home.They were absolutely wonderful through a really tough situation and I would absolutely recommend to a friend, or use their services again. My husband and I worked with Zane to plan and prepare for the end of life services for our 14 year old pittie, Skya. Little did we know that just 2 short weeks later our 7 yr old Staffie would lose his battle with cancer, and we would need Zane sooner than we thought. Less than 12 hours later we were once again on the way to the Life Center in Leesburg to say goodbye to our tough old girl, Skya. Never in my wildest nightmares' did we think of losing both our sweet babies within 24 hours. As pet owners of sick fur babies, you know what's to come. You plan for it, and try to prepare for that day as best you can. Nothing can prepare you for the heartbreak...nothing. However, the sliver of sunshine was Zane and his brother Logan. Even through their own family emergency, they were right there when we called; each and every time, offering their condolences, as they were just as shocked as we were. Their professionalism and love of our pets meant the world to us. When you have to think about your pet's humane aftercare, these are the only people I would trust.

This place and the people that work there are a true blessing. I had to say goodbye to by furbaby pretty suddenly. I knew I was going to do in home services and wanted to have her cremated. When looking through all the options in the area, this place stuck out. When I read the Winnie the Pooh quote on their website I knew immediately this was the right place to make sure my baby was taken care of. They really do answer the phone 24/7. They are compassionate, caring people. They went above and beyond to make me as informed and involved as possible. I can not recommend them enough in such a difficult time. When its time for me to say good bye to our other fur babies we will absolutely be using them.

Yesterday we lost our beloved Micky, my best friend of thirteen years. He was old, but it happened suddenly, and no matter how prepared I tried to be for that moment, I wasn’t. I called the place I originally planned to use, just to find out they did a send away service which would take 10 or so days. The service provided through the vet was similar. I could not imagine that wait, or that thought, so I called places…Zane got back to me incredibly fast. And after a couple discussions we ended up keeping him with us for the night, and driving him ourselves to their location in WV (it was actually an easy, and nice drive from the DMV) this morning. Logan was waiting for us there, had such a calming and friendly presence. For what is an extremely sad, morbid experience - he made me feel comfortable. He talked us through the process, let’s us spend whatever time we wanted / needed with our boy. I left after I said my goodbyes and my husband stayed with Logan. He let us pick whatever toys we wanted to send him off with too. They had a whole trailer for us to use, to get some much needed sleep after a sleepless night, with drinks, bathroom, etc. It was an unexpected addition to the service they were already providing us. I was unsure about my choice to take his body with us and then bring him there ourselves the next day, but all involved were super helpful and supportive and I wouldn’t change a thing about my decision. I felt like I had extra time to say goodbye, and it is an irreplaceable gift to have had that when I look back on it. Thank you guys

I am very grateful for Rainbow Bridge. My dear little rat was old and ill. When he passed away I was so full of sorrow, but also filled with anxiety because I didn't have anything planned for his final resting place. This was my first full responsible pet so I was clueless on my options for cremation. I contacted 3 places and Rainbow Bridge replied to me the very next day. They made the whole process simple and stress free. It felt like I was talking to an acquaintance rather than a business. I just had to put my almost 17 year old cat to sleep this past weekend. It was obviously a devastating experience and although I knew I wanted her cremated, I hadn't looked into it too much until the day I learned she had to leave us. Fortunately, Rainbow Bridge Pet Services popped up on a google search that morning and I called them right away. Despite being a Saturday, they answered promptly and were caring and thoughtful. After we visited the vet, I spoke with Logan on the phone who explained when and where to meet his father John, the owner. John was prompt, friendly and caring when we brought Bella. On Monday, Logan called to let us know Bella was ready to be picked up. Although it was shocking for me to go pick up her remains, it was obvious she had been taken care of. The hand carved box is beautiful and the pieces of fur, vial of ashes, and paw print were also beautifully prepared. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the dignified way they helped my girl have an honorable ending. Thank you so much Rainbow Bridge.

In the past we would allow our vet to send our deceased cats off to a large crematory for supposedly private cremations. But we were always uncertain that the ashes returned to us were truly those of our companions.At Rainbow Bridge, John gave us an incredible gift by allowing us to attend the cremation process for two of our sweet senior cats who recently died within a week of each other. We would highly recommend Rainbow Bridge to take care of your pets when the time comes. Our dog Charlie was feeling sick and we had come to find out he had heart disease. We thought we would have more time with him but he passed away early Sunday morning after a few weeks of treatment. We waited for his vet to open and while waiting we found them and we are extremely grateful we did. They came the same day driving over ran hour away to come get our dog and took care of everything. Even asked if we wanted to be present. He took pictures for us so we would know he was well taken care of. They use a really beautiful wooden box for his ashes and even came with a baggie with some of his hair and a certificate of the day he passed. They were very understanding and took the time to speak to us and explain everything. We are forever gratefull they were able to handle a difficult time for us. Charlie was back with us 2 days later! There aren't words to describe how incredibly happy we were with them.

John Lender from Rainbow Bridge could not have been more compassionate in assisting me with the passing of dog. Bailey, a Bernese Mountain Dog, was the best dog I have every owned and was a huge part of my life. Bailey's cancer was very aggressive and he had begun to suffer which broke my heart. I reached out to John after I had made the decision to put him down and he explained the entire procedure and was extremely understanding. The vet came to our house to put Bailey down and John waited, just as he said he would, in his car until the procedure had been done. John waited patiently as I held Bailey after he was gone so I could say a final goodbye to my best friend. He asked if I was ready and came in and very carefully wrapped Bailey in a blanket and took him away. The next afternoon, as promised, I picked Bailey up and also had two imprints of his paw, one for me and one for my son who had flown up from Mississippi, made for us. Again, Rainbow Bridge and Mr. Lender made one of the worst days of my life slightly more bearable with the tremendous service they provided. When I finally realized that it was time to say to my beloved dog, Paco, I knew that leaving him at the vet afterward would be unbearable. I had already done some research on local pet cremation, but when my husband called and spoke to Carol to get more information, we knew we were making the right decision by using Rainbow Bridge. She was thoughtful, caring and very informative about the process. John met me the next day at our veterinary hospital after Paco passed, and knowing that I was not leaving him "alone" kept my heart from breaking into a million pieces. Carol delivered him back to me this morning, and we take great comfort in the care that was put into returning his remains- beautiful wooden box, a bit of fur, and a small jar of ashes. I would recommend them wholeheartedly, and will turn to them again when the time comes.

Carol and John feel like old friends. They are compassionate, professional, and kept us afloat during this unexpected and difficult time. Our dog died while we were staying in Virginia (without a car), so we were quite lost. They took care of everything, including pick up and delivery. I am active with many animal rescues and transport groups as well with my own pet sitting company, therefore sadly I am faced with animals needing end of life services more than the average person and Rainbow Bridge has never let me down. You can talk with John the owner and look into the eyes of the person caring for your beloved pet. Not to mention he will personally pick up your pet at home or your vet's office. And he is usually more affordable and he guarantees a private cremation (you get back only your pet's ashes). Among the rescues groups I volunteer with, is a senior rescue, Rainbow Bridge has generously helped give elderly abandoned animals (in their sanctuary program) a dignified end of life experience. I’m so happy I chose them for my dog Chloe’s cremation. I was able to bring her home much faster than going through lap of love, at the same price and most importantly I was able to trust that it was actually her I was bringing back. They also had fantastic customer service. They called from their own cell phones instead of going through an automated system or message service and they even met me there an hour earlier than they open so I could pick her up.

If you’re reading this trying to make a decision, I’m very sorry for your loss. We came home to our cat Betty who had passed completely unexpected and wanted to share how pleased we are with Rainbow Bridge. John was there to pick her up within 20 minutes of us reaching out to him as we also live outside Lovettsville. Having to say goodbye to this wonderful family member was one of the hardest things we ever had to do. We spoke with Zane and instantly got a good feeling about how Rainbow Bridge cared about our pet and all the sadness and emotions we were feeling. We knew our Hunter would be treated with the utmost care and dignity he so deserved. We coordinated the timing of the Vet arriving and Zane coming to pick him up. Having him pass in his own home with family was important to us. We met John who was also very comforting to us and how he handled the Cremation. It touched our hearts for John to tell us our Hunter was a good looking dog,When we went to pick up Hunter's ashes the beauty of the area made us feel good that our Bluetick Hound would have loved the land and had that hound dog nose to ground in delight roaming the area. Our girl left us during her surgery. It was truly unexpected and we were left with our beloved girl getting cold in our hands. We definitely did not want to leave her with the vet as we were told that it would take a good week until she could be cremated. We quickly looked up for private cremation and came across Rainbow Bridge. It was more than an hour away from our place but a 5.0 rating from more than 50 reviews was more than enough for us to decide to give them a shot. We called the number and was greeted cordially by Zane. He was very welcoming and we could schedule a time slot the very next morning. What we appreciated the most from the Rainbow Bridge is that they let us participate in all process. We were able to trim a part of our girl's hair ourselves, print one of the paws on the clay ourselves, and even turn on the switch on the machine with our fingers. We were even allowed to stay during the cremation but it was too painful to watch so we had to leave and stay in the car. We really appreciated Rainbow Bridge allowing us to do everything ourselves. We cannot stress how important it was to us. The sorrow and the pain were unimaginable but having the job done ourselves really gave us huge comfort. Not to forget, the little jars for the hair and part of the ashes along with their rosewood urns are beautiful. I can't recommend Rainbow Bridge enough.

Rainbow Bridge was fantastic and caring during such a difficult time. They were able to retrieve my pet with no notice early in the morning on a Sunday, and his remains were delivered to my home the next day in a beautiful box with a pawprint keepsake and some hair - neither of which I remembered to ask for, but was very thankful that they provided. Zane and John were absolutely wonderful! Zane was very professional and caring on the phone and helped figured out the best way to get our sweet little pup, Little bear, taken care of. September I had to make a very hard decision and have our beloved dog, Miss Eve put to sleep. We wanted her passing not stressful and to be were she was comfortable and relaxed,to be surrounded by her family that loved her, so we chose to have a vet come to our home.Another decision was my girls didn’t want her to be buried so a week before her passing after a few different calls I called Rainbow Bridge. Carol was just great at answering my questions and concerns. Her compassion was greatly appreciated, you won’t come across anyone better than Carol.John arrived at my house at the time that I had arranged. He patiently sat in his van till we were ready to let Eve go. John could very clearly see how upset we all were, he talked to my girls about different dog stories at his kennel that he also owns. We said one more goodbye and John offered his condolences and very gentle carried her to his truck.Two days later John brought Eve home, he came into my home and showed me everything that had been done.You will not find anyone more compassionate in how he handles and does his work.Thank you Carol and John for everything ❤️

Losing a pet is never easy and during such a difficult time I am glad I was able to find Rainbow Bridge pet service. We wanted to be able to bring our Ozzy back home once he passed so our other pups could say goodbye. We called on Saturday morning and Zane picked up the phone walking us through the process. He helped answer all our questions and made us comfortable knowing that our Ozzy would be treated with care and respect. We met John the owner later that day when we dropped off Ozzy and his kind words helped ease some of the pain knowing we had to say goodbye to our boy. Just knowing that this kind person who loves animals as much as we do was the one taking care of this process just confirmed that I made the right decision in reaching out to them. The drive was beautiful and calming and when we picked up his ashes on Monday the staff at the office was so kind to us and offered their condolences. We had to put our kitty to sleep somewhat unexpectedly. Placed a call from the vet's exam room, and they promised to pick up our boy later that day. The next day, I was able to pick up the beautiful hand carved urn. They also supply a fur clipping and an extra vial of ashes if someone special to your pet wants to take away a keepsake. But really the best part was that our sweet Pinky didn't have to go in the vet's freezer to await pickup. Thank you, Rainbow Bridge, for that little bit of dignity.

Rainbow Bridge's service was excellent! They were very punctual with communication and carrying out their service; from picking up my dog's body at the local vet hospital to cremating his body, to making his remains available for me to pick up. I highly recommend their service! (My only complaint is a very small one. They advertise their price to be in the range of $250-$350. Yet, I was charged $400. Even so, I was glad to pay this because of their great service.)

Shortly before my dog, Lucky, reached the age of 14, he weakened suddenly and it was apparent he had little time left. I phoned Rainbow Pet Services to make preliminary arrangements for his cremation. I spoke with Carol who was very polite and sympathetic. In a reassuring manner, she explained all the details very clearly and followed up with an email. Within two weeks , it was evident that it was time and I had to make arrangements with the veterinarian to have Lucky euthanized. I again spoke with Carol to make arrangements to have Lucky picked up after euthanasia at a specific time at the veterinarian clinic while I was still there. John arrived to pick Lucky up exactly on time. He was very polite , sympathetic and reassuring. The cremation took place that day and just a few days later, I received Lucky’s ashes in the mail per arrangements with Rainbow Pet Service. (They will also personally deliver the ashes for an additional fee). Everything went very smoothly and the entire affair was treated with great dignity by both Carol and John. I strongly recommend them.

Our 14 year old pup passed away June 6th. Even though she had been sick for some time we were still devastated when it actually happened. We had not made any arrangements for her...denial, I guess. I was looking for same day cremation for the death of my dog that morning, and it was already almost noon and all of the other places I had called could fit me us the next day at the earliest. Mr. Lender made a special trip out to his facility just for us so we could could have it done that same day. Our five-year-old Guinea pig, Charlie, past away and we called Carol with Rainbow Bridge. I could not believe the level of care and compassion that she shared with our Family. She met with us and explained to the kids everything that they would do to take care of Charlie. When I picked up Charlie, I could not believe how much was done to make for a beautiful presentation. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful place. I have never had a pet cremated before but there is truly no better way to honor your beloved pet. I am so happy that my sister found this place. My darling, sweetest beloved Lulu passed away after 17 long and beautiful years. Being 25 that is most of my life so I am absolutely heart broken and devastated. That being said , the rainbow bridge pet services crew has made the pain manageable and has made the grieving process as easy as it can get. My beloved girl passed away at a late hour in which I called RBPS and a very nice guy named Logan picked up and comforted me letting me know 17 was a good long life to live as we made arrangements to have my girl picked up in the morning. He was very kind and compassionate all the way through. It truly takes special people to do these jobs. When he came to pick her up that morning he greeted me asking how I was holding up and he even listened to a story I had about Lulu and looked at a picture I had taken of her playing during her last evening alive, he really helped make the process gentle on me. He graciously walked me through the entire process and let me know when I could pick up my beloved girl. I picked her up yesterday from such a gorgeous and peaceful location. Her urn is absolutely stunning. I couldn’t be happier that that is her resting place. The presentation of the beautiful little vile of Ashes as well as a lovely poem. I know she was in amazing hands that cared for her loved and respected her as much as I do as soon as she was no longer in my hands. This place did an amazing job honoring my beautiful little girl. I feel very at peace. Thank you all so much at Rainbow bridge pet services for taking good care of my baby and making the grief a little easier. My sweet boy Gunner unexpectedly passed just after midnight on 11/13/20. My husband called Rainbow Bridge and John was at my house an hour later. He was very nice and compassionate. He went over all the details with us. We were able to pick up Gunner's ashes the same day. John put his ashes in a beautiful wooden urn box and he did clay paw prints of his front paws. We also got a small vial of ashes, hair clipping and a certificate of cremation. We could not have had a better experience. It was the only good part of the worst day of my life. Thank you John for taking care of my baby. I will be forever grateful.

My daughter slept on the couch for most of a month with our cat to keep him warm and be with him as Alex's health failed him. When Alex let us know it was time, I called Rainbow Bridge Pet services. They picked up the first time I called despite the pandemic and the time being after 6 pm. Even more, they were ready to help us through Alex's last moments THE NEXT MORNING. I had heard of them through an area facebook page....many people had recommended them. We've had many cherished pets over the past 40 years. They are part of our family and we continue to love them through their end of life. My dog Lucky ( German Shepherd) passed suddenly on a early Sunday evening. I chose Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. Our family members don't pass away on business hours. Rainbow Bridge offers 24/7 service. The fees were very reasonable for the exceptional service we received. There is a transportation fee if you want your pet picked up. I was in no shape to bring Lucky to them. The person who picked up my baby was great. He was caring, compassionate and professional.Carol, the point of contact the whole time was great too. She was caring and explained everything that was happening. I didn't feel like a number, I felt like a person. They cremate same day and he was home a day later to us. The urn is beautiful, the vial of ashes, for jewelry, rainbow bridge poem, his very detailed cemented paw print and his hair was great, but made me cry more. Lucky had a private cremation (no others with him).Rainbow Bridge Pet Services offered exceptional services for my furry family member. It is a hard time, but they took a little stress out of it.Thank you all for taking care of Lucky and his family.I would recommend their services over anyones elses.

My husband, Scott, organized everything with John regarding the passing of our pup Marvey. I was too upset to talk on the phone. John was lovely and made everything simple for us. He picked up our Marvey after euthanasia and his ashes were ready for pick up so quickly. Marvey's ashes came in a nice box and we got a lovely sample of his fur. Earlier this month, my wife and I said goodbye to our cat, Gus, after 14 years. The day I was going to take him to the Vet., I called Rainbow Bridge and talked with Carol, to arrange for Gus's cremation. She explained how their service worked and provided me with options on how I wanted to proceed. John, the owner of Rainbow Bridge, picked up Gus's remains at the Vet. less than 1 hour after Gus was put to sleep. Two days later I received Gus's ashes in a beautiful wooden urn along with a small bag of his fur clippings, and a small vile of ashes. Also included was a copy of the Rainbow Bridge Poem with words of sympathy added. We then received a sympathy card in the mail. Both John and Carol obviously know what it means to lose a pet. We really appreciated their understanding, compassion, and caring. A great company!

I was happy with fostering and had no interest in adopting because I knew that would mean eventually facing the heartache of death.But then I met Genie, and I simply couldn't let her go. I still remember signing the adoption papers knowing it would mean that one day I would have to overcome my fears and learn how to say goodbye.14 wonderful years later, that fateful day came, and I was lost. All those years I knew it would come, and yet, when I got there, I had no idea what to do. I called Rainbow Bridge, and just as advertised, they are available at any hour. I was so comforted by Zane. He understood the gravity of my loss, he laid out every honest detail about the process of cremation, he gave the family history of the business, he offered information without any pressure.I chose to drive my girl's body out to Rainbow Bridge in Lovettsville and even found solace in the lovely and picturesque drive. Zane was there to greet us and explained that her body would need to come down to room temperature which would take a few days.On the day of Genie's cremation, I was able to be on-site at the west virginia location where I met John and Scott who both comforted me with their sincerity, their hospitality, their dogs, and more. I was able to hold my girl's paw one last time, and talk to her in the quiet privacy that the Rainbow Bridge team offered us. I took a walk while the cremation was occurring, and when I returned, I had arrived too early. John was still working at a table and hadn't seen me. But I could see him, carefully, METICULOUSLY, packaging up my Genie's ashes. I watched as his hands gently tied a ribbon around each vial, he carefully smoothed the tissue paper, he very gently placed the bag of ashes in the carved, wooden box. And I thought to myself... This. This was the definitely the right choice.Rainbow Bridge didn't only provide a service, they provided a full experience. One that gave me peace and closure. How can you ever put a price on that?I am comforted knowing I saw every place my girl's body went, and met every person who handled it, and saw that they handled it with such care. We lost our sweet rescue cat suddenly and and tragically late at night. We were in complete shock and disbelief that she was completely happy and healthy one minute and then gone the next. We were so glad to have had the chance to be with her at the very end but as the reality of what had just happened stated to to set it... we had no idea what to do. My husband and I had never been personally responsible for the remains of a pet before. We wanted to keep her with us and bury her in our new home which we moved into with her. But we would have to wait days to get permission to dig on our lot, and if we dug without permission we could cause significant damage. I could not bare the thought of having to "store" her for days until we figured out what to do. It looked like we would have to go with a cremation. I hoped that I wouldn't have to "shop around" for someone to help is with this.I emailed early on Friday morning and heard back within an hour with a personal contact number to discuss our needs. Zane was extremely prompt in answering my messages and calls. He was so sweet and understanding of our needs, generously offering to work with us on the delivery of her remains. I had originally wanted a little more time before she was picked up to get materials to take a clay paw print for her. Zane told me that they included a clay print with their package and it was a huge relief for me, since it meant I could have her picked up sooner and not have to go to work later and come home to the unpleasant task.As soon as we were ready and said our finally goodbyes to her body, we called Zane and he immediate came to pick her up.Everything was resolved within just a few hours and she was delivered very respectfully back to our home in Sterling with constant communication from Zane. I was so unprepared for this loss but I am extremely grateful at how easy and lovingly this was able to be handled. I hope that no pet owner needs this service but I am glad to recommend Rainbow Bridge. If you are in need of help during this time, this made it a lot easier for us to deal with our loss.

We were referred to Rainbow Bridge Pet Services by TLC in Leesburg following the passing of our beloved cat, Simba. We called to get details on our options at an off time on the weekend and were met with very kind and caring treatment, especially from Logan. He explained everything in depth and even got in touch via text following the phone call to tell us that there was no rush and that whenever we were ready to move forward they would be there to assist during the process. The presentation we were met with when we picked him had us blown away. We made special requests for a few additional items to include inside and they just went above and beyond. No one looks forward to events such as these, but should the time come I would highly recommend them to anyone following the loss of a loving pet.

These wonderful people are kind and caring and so, so helpful in this sad time. I found them on Google and I called a few days before I lost my beloved pet, though I knew the end was near, and the owner took a lot of time explaining everything and was so compassionate. When we got there 3 days later, the gentleman who helped me was so kind and so careful to do everything I asked in the best way. The ashes in a beautiful carved wooden box were returned to me the same day. I'm in Woodbridge, but if I ever need a cremation again, I'll drive to Lovettsville, and I'll recommend them to everyone I know when they need this important service.

About a week ago my friends dog passed away. She didn't know who to call or what to do. She contacted Rainbow Bridge and within an hour they were at her home picking up her dog. They showed up dressed nicely and were very professional. My friend had her dog back within 24 hours. My sweet Simon died in my arms! I text my wonderful vet Doctor Conway, she insisted I use John! She told me not to let anyone else handle Simon. Carol was excellent on the phone. You know they love all animals just by speaking with them. John was here two hours later on an early Sunday morning. He was kind empathetic and understanding. I had Simon back the next day. He personally brought him to me. They only do private cremation so I was assured it was Simon in that beautiful hand carved box. This second time living in VA that I lost a pet. The price is excellent much less than the vets office. They will pick up for free within a 30 mile radius at your home or vets. Simon didn’t go in a freezer. He was cremated the same day. Just gave comfort knowing he was handled with respect and dignity. I had him since he was 6 weeks old he died at 18 years. I owed it to him to give him the proper cremation. And John Lender came through!

We would highly recommend Rainbow Bridge to take care of your pets when the time comes. Our dog Charlie was feeling sick and we had come to find out he had heart disease. We thought we would have more time with him but he passed away early Sunday morning after a few weeks of treatment. We waited for his vet to open and while waiting we found them and we are extremely grateful we did. They came the same day driving over ran hour away to come get our dog and took care of everything. Even asked if we wanted to be present. He took pictures for us so we would know he was well taken care of. They use a really beautiful wooden box for his ashes and even came with a baggie with some of his hair and a certificate of the day he passed. They were very understanding and took the time to speak to us and explain everything. We are forever gratefull they were able to handle a difficult time for us. Charlie was back with us 2 days later! There aren't words to describe how incredibly happy we were with them.

John Lender from Rainbow Bridge could not have been more compassionate in assisting me with the passing of dog. Bailey, a Bernese Mountain Dog, was the best dog I have every owned and was a huge part of my life. Bailey's cancer was very aggressive and he had begun to suffer which broke my heart. I reached out to John after I had made the decision to put him down and he explained the entire procedure and was extremely understanding. The vet came to our house to put Bailey down and John waited, just as he said he would, in his car until the procedure had been done. John waited patiently as I held Bailey after he was gone so I could say a final goodbye to my best friend. He asked if I was ready and came in and very carefully wrapped Bailey in a blanket and took him away. The next afternoon, as promised, I picked Bailey up and also had two imprints of his paw, one for me and one for my son who had flown up from Mississippi, made for us. Again, Rainbow Bridge and Mr. Lender made one of the worst days of my life slightly more bearable with the tremendous service they provided. When I finally realized that it was time to say to my beloved dog, Paco, I knew that leaving him at the vet afterward would be unbearable. I had already done some research on local pet cremation, but when my husband called and spoke to Carol to get more information, we knew we were making the right decision by using Rainbow Bridge. She was thoughtful, caring and very informative about the process. John met me the next day at our veterinary hospital after Paco passed, and knowing that I was not leaving him "alone" kept my heart from breaking into a million pieces. Carol delivered him back to me this morning, and we take great comfort in the care that was put into returning his remains- beautiful wooden box, a bit of fur, and a small jar of ashes. I would recommend them wholeheartedly, and will turn to them again when the time comes.

Carol and John feel like old friends. They are compassionate, professional, and kept us afloat during this unexpected and difficult time. I am active with many animal rescues and transport groups as well with my own pet sitting company, therefore sadly I am faced with animals needing end of life services more than the average person and Rainbow Bridge has never let me down. You can talk with John the owner and look into the eyes of the person caring for your beloved pet. Not to mention he will personally pick up your pet at home or your vet's office. And he is usually more affordable and he guarantees a private cremation (you get back only your pet's ashes). Among the rescues groups I volunteer with, is a senior rescue, Rainbow Bridge has generously helped give elderly abandoned animals (in their sanctuary program) a dignified end of life experience. I’m so happy I chose them for my dog Chloe’s cremation. I was able to bring her home much faster than going through lap of love, at the same price and most importantly I was able to trust that it was actually her I was bringing back. They also had fantastic customer service. They called from their own cell phones instead of going through an automated system or message service and they even met me there an hour earlier than they open so I could pick her up.

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to john and carol. I have never had to say goodbye to a pet before and peaches was the closest to my heart because her mother abandoned her at two weeks and I took her in, bottle fed her and raised her for a year and two months. She was my baby and it was unbelievable hard to say goodbye. My friend had searched where to get her cremated and after reviewing a few places she said she thought this one would be best. I absolutely agree with her. After meeting with carol and having a brief heart to heart I knew that her and john would take the best care of peaches and I was right. Not only were they so compassionate and understanding they also walked me through everything and reassured me that it will be alright. When I went to go pick peaches up she was put in a beautiful wooden box carved with flowers and had been wrapped in tissues paper very nicely, they also gave me a little vile with a pink bow of her ashes and I had asked for her paw print and they didn’t even hesitate and granted me all my wishes. Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy but with carol and johns phonmenal service it made it more comforting. They also gave me a beautiful card that explained where my precious baby is and how she will be waiting for me so we can cross the rainbow bridge together. I am eternally greatful for such kind hearted people to have taken care of my love. All I know is that I will take all my beloved pets to john and carol as their time comes, you will not regret bringing your loved ones here.

Recently we unexpectedly lost our beloved companion Leon. We were looking for a personal, caring, dignified place for his cremation. From the first inquiry we made through the drop off his body and return of the ashes the staff were empathetic, caring, professional but personal. John did a beautiful cremation. Carol and John were very sympathetic and sensitive to our needs, as our beloved best friend passed away over the weekend. After calling the place that we had intended to take him to be cremated, and finding out that they were closed until Monday, I was fortunate to find Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. John was very kind and handled Bugsy with care when he came to pick him up from our home, at no extra charge. Bugsy was returned to our home the next day, and was presented to us in an ornate decorative wooden box, which I love- and was also included in the price. John and Carol were very thoughtful with processing his ashes, and even put some of Bugsy's ashes in a separate small glass bottle with a ribbon, in case I wanted to spread some of the ashes- I thought this was very sweet and actually gave the small bottle of ashes to my mother, since she also cared for Bugsy. Overall- I would strongly recommend this place to anyone in need of pet cremation services-- because not only was the price lower than other places that I called, but the service was really above and beyond what I was expecting and could have hoped for. We had to put our kitty to sleep somewhat unexpectedly. Placed a call from the vet's exam room, and they promised to pick up our boy later that day. The next day, I was able to pick up the beautiful hand carved urn. They also supply a fur clipping and an extra vial of ashes if someone special to your pet wants to take away a keepsake. But really the best part was that our sweet Pinky didn't have to go in the vet's freezer to await pickup. Thank you, Rainbow Bridge, for that little bit of dignity.

Rainbow Bridge's service was excellent! They were very punctual with communication and carrying out their service; from picking up my dog's body at the local vet hospital to cremating his body, to making his remains available for me to pick up. I highly recommend their service! (My only complaint is a very small one. They advertise their price to be in the range of $250-$350. Yet, I was charged $400. Even so, I was glad to pay this because of their great service.)

Shortly before my dog, Lucky, reached the age of 14, he weakened suddenly and it was apparent he had little time left. I phoned Rainbow Pet Services to make preliminary arrangements for his cremation. I spoke with Carol who was very polite and sympathetic. In a reassuring manner, she explained all the details very clearly and followed up with an email. Within two weeks , it was evident that it was time and I had to make arrangements with the veterinarian to have Lucky euthanized. I again spoke with Carol to make arrangements to have Lucky picked up after euthanasia at a specific time at the veterinarian clinic while I was still there. John arrived to pick Lucky up exactly on time. He was very polite , sympathetic and reassuring. The cremation took place that day and just a few days later, I received Lucky’s ashes in the mail per arrangements with Rainbow Pet Service. (They will also personally deliver the ashes for an additional fee). Everything went very smoothly and the entire affair was treated with great dignity by both Carol and John. I strongly recommend them.

Our 14 year old pup passed away June 6th. Even though she had been sick for some time we were still devastated when it actually happened. We had not made any arrangements for her...denial, I guess. I was looking for same day cremation for the death of my dog that morning, and it was already almost noon and all of the other places I had called could fit me us the next day at the earliest. Mr. Lender made a special trip out to his facility just for us so we could could have it done that same day. He was respectful and kind, and in talking with him it was clear that he knew what we were going through and treated little Coby with the same respect and love that we had treated him with all of his life. We are very appreciative of Mr. Lender and those at Rainbow Bridge, and would recommend them to anyone who is in the tremendously sorrowful circumstance of requiring the services that they provide.

Our five-year-old Guinea pig, Charlie, past away and we called Carol with Rainbow Bridge. I could not believe the level of care and compassion that she shared with our Family. She met with us and explained to the kids everything that they would do to take care of Charlie. When I picked up Charlie, I could not believe how much was done to make for a beautiful presentation. We all cried as we open each piece of the special touches that John and Carol had delivered to us. Their service is not one that you look forward to in life, but I highly recommend them to any pet owner when you are in pain after losing your loving pet.The price you pay is not much for what they deliver. We were treated so great and with sincerity. We got a hand-carved wooden urn, glass keepsake with ashes, clipping of hair, and so much more.We can not Thank them enough.

Our sweet old kitty Junie passed at home on January 12th, in the midst of a big snowfall, and the folks at Rainbow Bridge could not have been more helpful and kind. They collected her body and returned her remains to us in a beautiful carved box, even separating out two small vessels for each of our children to keep. We lost our sweet rescue cat suddenly and and tragically late at night. We were in complete shock and disbelief that she was completely happy and healthy one minute and then gone the next. We were so glad to have had the chance to be with her at the very end but as the reality of what had just happened stated to to set it... we had no idea what to do. My husband and I had never been personally responsible for the remains of a pet before. We wanted to keep her with us and bury her in our new home which we moved into with her. But we would have to wait days to get permission to dig on our lot, and if we dug without permission we could cause significant damage. I could not bare the thought of having to "store" her for days until we figured out what to do. It looked like we would have to go with a cremation. I hoped that I wouldn't have to "shop around" for someone to help is with this.I emailed early on Friday morning and heard back within an hour with a personal contact number to discuss our needs. Zane was extremely prompt in answering my messages and calls. He was so sweet and understanding of our needs, generously offering to work with us on the delivery of her remains. I had originally wanted a little more time before she was picked up to get materials to take a clay paw print for her. Zane told me that they included a clay print with their package and it was a huge relief for me, since it meant I could have her picked up sooner and not have to go to work later and come home to the unpleasant task.As soon as we were ready and said our finally goodbyes to her body, we called Zane and he immediate came to pick her up.Everything was resolved within just a few hours and she was delivered very respectfully back to our home in Sterling with constant communication from Zane. I was so unprepared for this loss but I am extremely grateful at how easy and lovingly this was able to be handled. I hope that no pet owner needs this service but I am glad to recommend Rainbow Bridge. If you are in need of help during this time, this made it a lot easier for us to deal with our loss.

We were referred to Rainbow Bridge Pet Services by TLC in Leesburg following the passing of our beloved cat, Simba. We called to get details on our options at an off time on the weekend and were met with very kind and caring treatment, especially from Logan. He explained everything in depth and even got in touch via text following the phone call to tell us that there was no rush and that whenever we were ready to move forward they would be there to assist during the process. The presentation we were met with when we picked him had us blown away. We made special requests for a few additional items to include inside and they just went above and beyond. No one looks forward to events such as these, but should the time come I would highly recommend them to anyone following the loss of a loving pet.

These wonderful people are kind and caring and so, so helpful in this sad time. I found them on Google and I called a few days before I lost my beloved pet, though I knew the end was near, and the owner took a lot of time explaining everything and was so compassionate. When we got there 3 days later, the gentleman who helped me was so kind and so careful to do everything I asked in the best way. The ashes in a beautiful carved wooden box were returned to me the same day. I'm in Woodbridge, but if I ever need a cremation again, I'll drive to Lovettsville, and I'll recommend them to everyone I know when they need this important service.

We recently lost our beloved Westie, Coco. Other than the family dog when I was a child, Coco was my only dog, so losing him was really difficult. About a week ago my friends dog passed away. She didn't know who to call or what to do. She contacted Rainbow Bridge and within an hour they were at her home picking up her dog. They showed up dressed nicely and were very professional. My friend had her dog back within 24 hours. Losing a pet is hard enough but when you have to wait a week or so for the remains it makes it even harder. Thanks to Rainbow Bridge, they made my friends experience a little bit easier.

My sweet Simon died in my arms! I text my wonderful vet Doctor Conway, she insisted I use John! She told me not to let anyone else handle Simon. Carol was excellent on the phone. You know they love all animals just by speaking with them. John was here two hours later on an early Sunday morning. He was kind empathetic and understanding. I had Simon back the next day. He personally brought him to me. They only do private cremation so I was assured it was Simon in that beautiful hand carved box. This second time living in VA that I lost a pet. The price is excellent much less than the vets office. They will pick up for free within a 30 mile radius at your home or vets. Simon didn’t go in a freezer. He was cremated the same day. Just gave comfort knowing he was handled with respect and dignity. I had him since he was 6 weeks old he died at 18 years. I owed it to him to give him the proper cremation. And John Lender came through!

Overdue review. We reached out to John in February 2020 to help us with our dog Finn, who we had to put down over a holiday weekend. He agreed to meet us that following Monday (the holiday) to take care of Finn on fairly short notice. He even called that morning to make sure we were clear on the directions to his facility. Upon our arrival, John and his assistant met us at the door and helped to move Finn into the building. We remember his patient, kind, and caring demeanor and the time he spent talking with us, explaining the process, and answering our questions. We chose to wait while the cremation took place and the remains were placed into a small wooden box. John even went so far as to save some locks of Finn's hair for us. While it was a horrible situation, John and his assistant really helped us get through it. We never expected things to turn as well as they did and we can't thank him and his staff enough for how well they treated us.

This is the second time I used them. They are caring and compassionate and seem to genuinely understand what you’re going through. They pick up the phone every time I you call. Owner John Lender holds his company to a very high standard, and it shows. They’re also the only game in town where I feel confident that I received MY PET’S Ashes in the Urn. Most other places do mass cremations and give you “some ashes”.

Rainbow Bridge Pet Services are like angles on earth. Making that call only means we have exhausted all avenues and have to euthanize our beloved baby. I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to john and carol. I have never had to say goodbye to a pet before and peaches was the closest to my heart because her mother abandoned her at two weeks and I took her in, bottle fed her and raised her for a year and two months. She was my baby and it was unbelievable hard to say goodbye. My friend had searched where to get her cremated and after reviewing a few places she said she thought this one would be best. I absolutely agree with her. After meeting with carol and having a brief heart to heart I knew that her and john would take the best care of peaches and I was right. Not only were they so compassionate and understanding they also walked me through everything and reassured me that it will be alright. When I went to go pick peaches up she was put in a beautiful wooden box carved with flowers and had been wrapped in tissues paper very nicely, they also gave me a little vile with a pink bow of her ashes and I had asked for her paw print and they didn’t even hesitate and granted me all my wishes. Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy but with carol and johns phonmenal service it made it more comforting. They also gave me a beautiful card that explained where my precious baby is and how she will be waiting for me so we can cross the rainbow bridge together. I am eternally greatful for such kind hearted people to have taken care of my love. All I know is that I will take all my beloved pets to john and carol as their time comes, you will not regret bringing your loved ones here.

Recently we unexpectedly lost our beloved companion Leon. We were looking for a personal, caring, dignified place for his cremation. From the first inquiry we made through the drop off his body and return of the ashes the staff were empathetic, caring, professional but personal. John did a beautiful cremation. Carol and John were very sympathetic and sensitive to our needs, as our beloved best friend passed away over the weekend. After calling the place that we had intended to take him to be cremated, and finding out that they were closed until Monday, I was fortunate to find Rainbow Bridge Pet Services. John was very kind and handled Bugsy with care when he came to pick him up from our home, at no extra charge. Bugsy was returned to our home the next day, and was presented to us in an ornate decorative wooden box, which I love- and was also included in the price. John and Carol were very thoughtful with processing his ashes, and even put some of Bugsy's ashes in a separate small glass bottle with a ribbon, in case I wanted to spread some of the ashes- I thought this was very sweet and actually gave the small bottle of ashes to my mother, since she also cared for Bugsy. Overall- I would strongly recommend this place to anyone in need of pet cremation services-- because not only was the price lower than other places that I called, but the service was really above and beyond what I was expecting and could have hoped for.
