My cat who I’ve had for almost 20yrs passed on Thursday, February 6th. I was able to connect with David who was able to take my cat the next day (per my request) to have her cremated. David was very kind during this process and had a 48hr turnaround time. Very reasonably priced which Included her paw print (this was an add on), nose print, hair samplings, And a beautiful urn for her ashes. I greatly appreciate the kindness and swiftness during this time for me and highly recommend Caring Pets Cremation to anyone hoping to be able to keep their beloved pets after they’ve crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We lost our sweet doggy, Sadie, on New Years Day. David responded to our request immediately, he was very caring. We brought Sadie to him and he took such great care of her, he gently laid her on his stretcher and wrapped her in a blanket. I forgot a coat and he gave me a blanket to wrap around while we discussed the final details. 2 days later, she was ready to be picked up with a very sweet bag that included her nose print, cremation certificate, urn, a poem, and a paper to write some of her favorite things on. We appreciate David being so helpful, fast, and caring during this tough time for our family.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible service we received from Caring Pet Cremation during such a difficult time. David went above and beyond for us, showing exceptional compassion and care. David stayed in touch throughout the entire process, so we always knew where Cassidy was, and weren't left questioning if she was picked up from the vet, etc. We received a phone call a few days later to say our girl was ready. Not only did we receive our beloved Cassidy’s ashes, but David also provided ink nose prints, clay paw prints, fur clippings, and even took the time to save a piece of the blanket we wrapped her in. These thoughtful gestures genuinely meant the world to us. David treated Cassidy with the utmost dignity and kindness, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. The second I spoke to David on the phone I knew that we had found the right person to help us in our time of need. After losing my beautiful boar guinea pig, Bepis, I sincerely was worried that whoever the veterinarian would send him to would not provide him the care that I knew I needed him to receive to be able to grieve. I left a message for David, and that same evening, he called me.You will not meet a nicer, kinder, gentler man than David in your time of need after the loss of a pet. He talked me through the process of how he'd come to pick up my pet the next morning and how he would ensure that our pet was returned to us promptly a few days later; he was earlier than expected and we've been reunited with our pet.Nobody will be as thoughtful, compassionate, and professional as CPC has been in our moment of loss. My only regret is that I could not have found this company sooner so as to have had all of my pets treated with the dignity that David had offered them. I know when the time comes that other pets of mine pass on I can count on David to give them the proper care that they deserve so that they can be lovingly cared for.

The owner david is an amazing man. When I lost my baby piggums this past Tuesday he came out and got her and was absolutely caring and considerate! They went above and beyond giving me a part of her favorite blanket, with out me even asking. Absolutely taking all my pets to be cremated here! I already have my piggums back home which is extremely quick, and it wasn't expensive.Will be recommending to everyone i know for when they lose their furbabies.

My best buddy of 12 years, Ryder, passed away, and I didn't want to bury him in the backyard of some rental house, so I asked my family to cremate him. Luckily, we found David, and I couldn't ask for a better service to put Ryder to rest. On Friday, They took him in the nicest basket. When I was pulling off after dropping him off, David gave the ol boy a little prayer. And Ryder was back to me on the closest Tuesday. Thank you for your work David.

Even though we were pretty distraught and scatterbrained, David was so kind, patient, and helpful while helping us preparing for the heartbreaking day. On the day of, we were a mess, but he took care of everything so we didn’t have to worry about anything and we could just say goodby and grieve. Our baby boy passed away so suddenly April 1, the day after his 10th birthday. It was the hardest day of my life. My husband and I already had an appointment scheduled with David but when Guss passed sooner than expected David got us in first thing the next morning. Our biggest fear with cremation was not being sure that the ashes we got back were entirely our buddy and no other animal. With David, we got to stand there for every part of it. He was extremely kind and encouraging through the tears. The location is also so beautiful, very cottage in the woods feeling which our puppy would've loved. Between that and David's comfort, he makes you feel like this isn't just any cremation process but a private personal one for you and your buddy only. We took him home the same day and now we're able to properly mourn❤️‍🩹 there truly is no better place to handle this kind of moment.

We recently lost a cherished pet. Our beloved 12 year old bunny passed away very early in the morning, as we were getting ready for work. I called David, the owner, very early (6:45am) expecting to leave a voicemail. He picked up immediately, and offered to come get our bunny that morning. David was wonderful to work with! My husband and I were on a cruise when we got the call that our fur baby had passed unexpectedly. David was immediately easy to work with as we coordinated from the ship for him to drive 50 minutes to our house, pick up our kitty and drive him back to be cremated. Within days, we were home and able to pick up a sweet bag of the ashes in an urn, a clay paw print, an ink nose print, some fur, and a couple of heartfelt things to read about the passing of a pet. I can not put into words how caring, passionate and trusting David & his wife were. When I lost my baby Coraline suddenly on Friday. I called asking if they were able to do the cremation for us. My pomeranian of 17 years passed away 2 weeks ago on a late sunday/Monday morning. I found David on a Google and filled out his contact form. He called me Monday morning and he was so understanding and caring. We brought my dog to him that afternoon and his wife was wonderful and caring as I wasn't in the right frame of mind to call him and let him not that I would be there in the afternoon. I spoke to David again about 4 days later and the package he put together for me was beautiful and it was so good to have my baby home where she belongs. CPC was wonderful to work with through a very dark day. I got up to get my 9yo chi to come to lay with me in bed, sadly I found him deceased. The original plan was to bury him, but i decided i wanted him to have him cremated so i could take him wherever we go, should we move. I had never done this before and didn’t know what to expect.From the first time i talked to David and was choking up, he was just so compassionate and very sweet & understanding of how i was feeling.When we dropped of my Baxter that evening, David was wonderful. He took extra care with us and Baxter. We never felt rushed when saying goodbye. Our daughter broke down when we were leaving Baxter.When I went to pick Baxter up, David was very kind and compassionate. He even gave my daughter a gift of a pendant with some of Baxter’s ashes. It was so sweet & thoughtful and it brought a smile to her face. If only I could rate David higher than a 5. My sweet little Hemi was put to sleep on November 22, 2023. David picked him up from my house with such dignity and respect. My daughter and I covered him up in a blanket like a baby. I just received him today, and there are absolutely no words to describe how much respect and love i have towards David. He was so gentle and caring about my little Hemi and towards me and daughter's feelings about all of this. Everything is absolutely beautiful and exactly what i wanted. There are no words that can fully express my deepest appreciation for the exceptional services my family received from Caring Pet Cremation.When searching for veterinarian services that offer, At Home Euthanasia, I received a recommendation for CPC upon asking about cremation services. With emotions high at the thought of losing our golden girl, it was difficult to focus on detail, however, I called the number that was provided. What a pleasant, empathetic and kind voice I received on the other end by a gentleman named David. During our conversation, he shared a couple of his stories with his fur babies, and although heartbreaking, it served as a bit of comfort as well. He had a way of engaging all information about the services offered through CPC and reassured me throughout, of his availability, I quote, “I’m as close as your phone.” Our communication not only resulted in a phone conversation, but also via text messaging which was an added comfort to know there was another source of availability in which I would be able to contact David when the time came.Early morning of March 23, 2023, I had to make the call, that our beloved golden retriever, Kaylee would be put to rest. Within a very short time, just minutes later, David called, again with reassurance that he and his assistant will be there, providing us ample time to say our goodbyes prior to their arrival. David and Angel went above and beyond the call of duty, providing a compassionate and empathetic process as our family said our final goodbye to our beloved Kaylee. They treated her with dignity and respect as she was positioned so beautiful, looking very peaceful, as my family took one last moment to say our final good byes prior to her transport. It was so amazing, not only did they pick our golden girl up, but delivered her ashes within two days in a package that included a beautiful clay paw print, ink nose print, and a tuft of fur. THANK YOU!!!, David and Angel, for the professionalism, sympathy, and words of comfort you exhibited during this difficult time for my family. Kaylee was a loyal companion and our family and her sibling Megan, were Blessed to have her for eight years. She brought so much joy, laugher and love to all she encountered. We loved every adventure of our journey together with her. Her peaceful passing may have ended her time on earth with us, but we are blessed that love leaves us with her memory. Thank you, Kaylee, for loving us and being such an amazing companion. We miss you completely and look forward to that someday, when we meet again. Much love to you, our Golden Girl!!!

When our daughters sweet cat passed suddenly, we were unsure how to proceed on a weekend. After a few phone calls, we chose to take the short drive to bring Mackenzie to David. David was so kind from beginning to end, showing us options and even handling my indecisiveness with grace. Being our daughter’s first cat that she picked out herself, we wanted to be able to honor him properly for her. Upon receiving Kenzie, David placed him in a bassinet and allowed our girl to say goodbye to her beloved Kenzie cat. A few short days later at pickup, David included the sweetest nose print and paw print, along with a tuft of fur, which means so much to our daughter. She loves her special key ring that carries a small amount of Mackenzie’s ashes, so she can keep him close by always.Thank you so much, David, for your kindness and compassion. We recently lost our beloved dachshund of 14 years. A friend had recommended Caring Pet Cremation Services, so we thought we give them a try. I am so glad we did. From the moment we arrived in the driveway we were immediately greeted by David, the owner. David was very kind and compassionate in handling our beloved dog, Fred. We sat and chatted for a bit under a beautiful gazebo while we made the selection on the details of the cremation. The entire visit with David was very comforting. A little over 24 hours later we had our beloved pet returned to us in a very special urn. We were provided other keepsakes such as a clay footprint, nose print card and clippings of his hair. Everything was packaged, wrapped and presented in a perfect manner. We were so pleased with this presentation. We would definitely recommend Caring Pet Cremation Services to others. My friend lost his cat at home over a holiday weekend, and the available vets in town were charging gouging amounts for cremation services. We did a little bit of research and found Caring Pet Cremation Services which provided the same amenities for a third of the price. David's professionalism and care were world-class, both in dropping off Ninja and in picking up her cremains. The plot of land is strikingly peaceful, and it was a beautiful place to say goodbye to a dear feline friend. It was well worth driving out to the country, and if this sad day comes again for any of my pets or my friends' pets, I am certain to recommend Caring Pet Cremation Services. Thank you, David!

Very thankful for the friendly and supportive people at CPC. Being the first time I’ve lost a furry buddy in many years they were very understanding and helpful even outside of their normal hours. They worked with me and communicated very well to make sure my fur baby was taken care of respectfully and lovingly. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful David is. From the moment he answered my call I felt like he understood my pain & loss and was going to care for my baby with the same love & compassion I had for Sparky. I drove out to their location & it’s beautiful. Didn’t feel sterile or like a business transaction. I felt truly supported in my grief. They had my ashes ready the next day. When I picked up Sparky, the presentation was amazing. The pawprint was thoughtfully made into a coaster or ornament that can actually be left out. Other places I’ve gone just give u print in white clay… no character or specialness about it. It was in a chiffon bag, the clipping was in a box and the urn was also gift wrapped in tissue paper with pawprint ribbon. I felt the personalization & attention to detail was wonderful. Like I said, David relates to his client’s grief & wants this last phase to be as painless as possible & create a positive last memory. Oh, did I mention the service is less than half of Agape & other cremation businesses. And those businesses are not personal or provide you with this level of love & kindness. I wish I would’ve found David years ago. When I lost my first boy I used the vet. The process wasn’t explain well, it took over 2 weeks to get him back and he came home in a cardboard box with very few ashes. I still remember leaving the vet bawling my eyes out just feeling awful. My experience with David was completely different leaving there i knew my baby would be taken care. David talked with us for well over 30 minutes explaining everything from how he will take care of my baby to why he started his business. I left knowing i made the right choice for my baby boy. He did a truly amazing job of preserving the memory of my baby boy. When i picked up my baby he was neatly placed in a bag with wrapping paper. David took the time to take his nose print, a clay paw print, a clipping of his fur and even his blanket (which he offered to cremate him in). I am extremely thankful for David he is one of the kindest souls i’ve met.

Mr. Nelson was very kind and understanding, and took plenty of time to meet with me to discuss my dog's services. He presented me with a beautifully wrapped gift bag with a canine motif which included my dog's ashes in an urn, a small packet of fur trimmings, and a clay personalized paw print. David, at Caring Pet Cremation, provides a needed service with respect and compassion.Our situation with our dog Daisy developed very quickly. We had initially contacted him for general information on his service, not realizing that 2 days later we would be actually needing his help.David's service was personal, reasonably priced, and he has a lot of experience in the profession. He was very patient as he walked us thru the process, answering all our many questions.One nice thing was his timeframe - the waiting period wasn't extensive. Once Daisy arrived at his facility in Aylett, we had her home 2 days later (going thru our vet would have taken a lot longer).Along with her ashes we also got back her collar, her paw print in plaster, a nose print, etc. Tangible things to remember her by.It's a tough, emotional situation, but if you have a beloved pet, this day will arrive. I was glad that we found a good company to work with that made a tough time slightly easier.

I cannot recommend this business highly enough. Everything was incredibly thoughtful and professionally done. Our sweet dog passed on a Sunday morning and our contact at an end of life program recommended we contact Caring Pet Cremation. David called us back within minutes, from his church, on his day off, and made quick plans to support us. He did offer to come to Richmond to pick up our girl and get everything settled at our home but we chose to drive out to his business. David was an incredible and caring professional. His presence and professionalism made such a sad day so much easier to handle. It was clear he knew what we were going through and cared deeply that everything was taken care of properly. I highly recommend this company. They were quick and efficient and sensitive. Overall cost with pickup and delivery of ashes was probably a bit less than going through a veterinarian office. They picked up my little baby boy in a bassinet. I couldn’t have been more pleased with their services… Well, at least as pleased as one can be in the situation.

I cannot say enough positive. I lost my boy very unexpectedly on a Friday night. My boyfriend called David at 8:45 and he told us to come on over. He didn't rush me, he explained everything, he let me have as much time with my boy as I needed. When that day inevitably comes and we are forced to say a final goodbye to our beloved pet there is only one person I would trust to give the care, respect and love they deserve, David Nelson of Caring Pet Cremation. We met this amazing man two years ago after a long hard 18 month battle with cancer. My daughters constant companion and best friend since she was 11 was Bruce, a 110 lb, 12 yr old English lab. His passing left her with a shattered heart on Easter Sunday two years ago. Thankfully I had done some checking so we weren’t forced to make such an important decision when our world was crumbling. I called David Easter Sunday evening from the ER vet. After offering his sympathy he said “Where are you? I’m coming to get your buddy.” I told him we would prefer to bring Bruce ourselves and made the hour long drive arriving at 9:30PM. David was outside waiting for us. He assured my daughter Bruce would be handled with love and reminded how much he was loved until he was returned home the very next day. As promised David drove an hour to return Bruce to his family. The one thing I remember most when talking to David was that unlike is done in most other vets and cremation places, he will never allow any pet to be placed in a black bag like they were trash. He places them gently in their favorite blanket, a piece of which is given back along with nose and paw prints. This experience stayed with us and gave me a bit of peace two years later when my 16 year old wolfhound, Baxter Riley, crossed over in my arms at 3:30 AM. Heartbroken I called David at 7AM crying. He remembered our Bruce and was ready to help us through this awful time. The very next afternoon my baby Baxter Riley was brought home again. Although I will always feel this loss I will also treasure the care I know my boy was given. His urn is beautiful, the clay paw print and nose print as well as a beautiful silver heart keychain mean so much. Men like David are rare and I will always be grateful for his kindness and compassion.

Most respectful, kind, and caring company I've ever worked with from start to finish. I lost my fur baby and immediately searched for a cremation service for pets and with as many 5 stars as this place, it's a no brainer.When I called on a Thursday evening, David picked up and was very understanding about everything and super friendly. I wanted David to take Bambi as soon as possible, but the schedule was a bit tricky since I wouldn't be back home till Friday afternoon - meaning David (or someone) had to come Saturday. True to his word, David did what he could and made things work for me.David called me 15 minutes before arrival, showed up on time, and brought a cute carrier for Bambi. He went through the options and for Bambi, I want nothing but the best.Within 2 days, Bambi was returned to me in the most exquisite package ever. Mind you, I didn't do any real research before calling David, so I had no idea what I signed up for. Even the lady who dropped off Bambi was super nice! I forgot her name (sorry), but I really appreciate everything you guys have done for us! Bambi was taken cared for and I couldn't be happier. This is the second time using this CPC and again I cannot say enough good things about this company and the care given during such a difficult time. Leo, our 19 year old cat sadly passed away right before 4th of July. David, the owner, was exceptional in handling the process from beginning to end. Our baby boy passed away so suddenly April 1, the day after his 10th birthday. It was the hardest day of my life. My husband and I already had an appointment scheduled with David but when Guss passed sooner than expected David got us in first thing the next morning. Our biggest fear with cremation was not being sure that the ashes we got back were entirely our buddy and no other animal. With David, we got to stand there for every part of it. He was extremely kind and encouraging through the tears. The location is also so beautiful, very cottage in the woods feeling which our puppy would've loved. Between that and David's comfort, he makes you feel like this isn't just any cremation process but a private personal one for you and your buddy only. We took him home the same day and now we're able to properly mourn❤️‍🩹 there truly is no better place to handle this kind of moment.

We recently lost a cherished pet. Our beloved 12 year old bunny passed away very early in the morning, as we were getting ready for work. I called David, the owner, very early (6:45am) expecting to leave a voicemail. He picked up immediately, and offered to come get our bunny that morning. David was wonderful to work with! My husband and I were on a cruise when we got the call that our fur baby had passed unexpectedly. David was immediately easy to work with as we coordinated from the ship for him to drive 50 minutes to our house, pick up our kitty and drive him back to be cremated. My pomeranian of 17 years passed away 2 weeks ago on a late sunday/Monday morning. I found David on a Google and filled out his contact form. He called me Monday morning and he was so understanding and caring. We brought my dog to him that afternoon and his wife was wonderful and caring as I wasn't in the right frame of mind to call him and let him not that I would be there in the afternoon. I spoke to David again about 4 days later and the package he put together for me was beautiful and it was so good to have my baby home where she belongs. CPC was wonderful to work with through a very dark day. I got up to get my 9yo chi to come to lay with me in bed, sadly I found him deceased. The original plan was to bury him, but i decided i wanted him to have him cremated so i could take him wherever we go, should we move. I had never done this before and didn’t know what to expect.From the first time i talked to David and was choking up, he was just so compassionate and very sweet & understanding of how i was feeling.When we dropped of my Baxter that evening, David was wonderful. He took extra care with us and Baxter. We never felt rushed when saying goodbye. Our daughter broke down when we were leaving Baxter.When I went to pick Baxter up, David was very kind and compassionate. He even gave my daughter a gift of a pendant with some of Baxter’s ashes. If only I could rate David higher than a 5. My sweet little Hemi was put to sleep on November 22, 2023. David picked him up from my house with such dignity and respect. My daughter and I covered him up in a blanket like a baby. I just received him today, and there are absolutely no words to describe how much respect and love i have towards David. We made to decision to put down our English Mastiff on a Saturday morning but we had problems finding a company who could come pick him up due to his size - over 6 ft long and 200 lbs. - so after call our local funeral home - I was given David's number. I called him and he answered immediately and was at our house 15 minutes after the vet arrived. He was caring and compassionate and he promised us that he would bring our beloved dog home the next day. Not only did he bring him home as promised but he provided us with fur clippings, a nose print and two paw imprints. Our dog's paws were so large that he had to improvise and he and his wife made an oval shaped mold to get the full paw. On our darkest day - I'm so thankful that we met an angel in David at Caring Pet Cremation!

We are so thankful for David and Caring Pet Cremation Services. When our dog, whose health had been deteriorating for weeks from lymphoma, didn’t wake up one Monday morning, we had no idea what to do.David answered immediately when we called him at 7:30 am. He was kind, professional, and calm as he explained our options. It was extremely difficult for our family to say goodbye to our sweet Hunter, who was part of our family for almost 13 years. We lost our oldest fur baby Abby, a week ago today. My husband called David on a Sunday morning, still in the 7am hour, I believe, and he picked up the phone. That in itself was amazing. We were so devastated when we lost our girl and he treated us with such empathy and respect. He ensured we would be taken care of and that truly meant so much. Abby was picked up within a few hours by Angel, who also turned out to be our angel ❤️. She brought the sweetest little basket along with blankets for Abby's trip from home. She truly comforted us and was so patient, as I had trouble letting our baby go. She ensured our other three fur babies were able to say goodbye. She brought Abby back on Tuesday (what an amazing turnaround) as she was cremated. The package they prepared was so heartfelt. We had her ashes in an urn, the most beautiful paw print in clay, the sweetest nose print, her soft fur, along with many words of support and love. What they did for us is irreplaceable and we are forever thankful for them. They will be the only ones we will ever use.

There are no words that can fully express my deepest appreciation for the exceptional services my family received from Caring Pet Cremation.When searching for veterinarian services that offer, At Home Euthanasia, I received a recommendation for CPC upon asking about cremation services. With emotions high at the thought of losing our golden girl, it was difficult to focus on detail, however, I called the number that was provided. What a pleasant, empathetic and kind voice I received on the other end by a gentleman named David. During our conversation, he shared a couple of his stories with his fur babies, and although heartbreaking, it served as a bit of comfort as well. He had a way of engaging all information about the services offered through CPC and reassured me throughout, of his availability, I quote, “I’m as close as your phone.” Our communication not only resulted in a phone conversation, but also via text messaging which was an added comfort to know there was another source of availability in which I would be able to contact David when the time came.Early morning of March 23, 2023, I had to make the call, that our beloved golden retriever, Kaylee would be put to rest. Within a very short time, just minutes later, David called, again with reassurance that he and his assistant will be there, providing us ample time to say our goodbyes prior to their arrival. David and Angel went above and beyond the call of duty, providing a compassionate and empathetic process as our family said our final goodbye to our beloved Kaylee. They treated her with dignity and respect as she was positioned so beautiful, looking very peaceful, as my family took one last moment to say our final good byes prior to her transport. It was so amazing, not only did they pick our golden girl up, but delivered her ashes within two days in a package that included a beautiful clay paw print, ink nose print, and a tuft of fur. THANK YOU!!!, David and Angel, for the professionalism, sympathy, and words of comfort you exhibited during this difficult time for my family. Kaylee was a loyal companion and our family and her sibling Megan, were Blessed to have her for eight years. She brought so much joy, laugher and love to all she encountered. We loved every adventure of our journey together with her. Her peaceful passing may have ended her time on earth with us, but we are blessed that love leaves us with her memory. When our daughters sweet cat passed suddenly, we were unsure how to proceed on a weekend. After a few phone calls, we chose to take the short drive to bring Mackenzie to David. David was so kind from beginning to end, showing us options and even handling my indecisiveness with grace. Upon receiving Kenzie, David placed him in a bassinet and allowed our girl to say goodbye to her beloved Kenzie cat. We recently lost our beloved dachshund of 14 years. A friend had recommended Caring Pet Cremation Services, so we thought we give them a try. I am so glad we did. From the moment we arrived in the driveway we were immediately greeted by David, the owner. David was very kind and compassionate in handling our beloved dog, Fred. We sat and chatted for a bit under a beautiful gazebo while we made the selection on the details of the cremation. The entire visit with David was very comforting. My friend lost his cat at home over a holiday weekend, and the available vets in town were charging gouging amounts for cremation services. We did a little bit of research and found Caring Pet Cremation Services which provided the same amenities for a third of the price. David's professionalism and care were world-class, both in dropping off Ninja and in picking up her cremains. The plot of land is strikingly peaceful, and it was a beautiful place to say goodbye to a dear feline friend. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful David is. From the moment he answered my call I felt like he understood my pain & loss and was going to care for my baby with the same love & compassion I had for Sparky. I drove out to their location & it’s beautiful. Didn’t feel sterile or like a business transaction. I felt truly supported in my grief. They had my ashes ready the next day. When I picked up Sparky, the presentation was amazing. The pawprint was thoughtfully made into a coaster or ornament that can actually be left out. Other places I’ve gone just give u print in white clay… no character or specialness about it. It was in a chiffon bag, the clipping was in a box and the urn was also gift wrapped in tissue paper with pawprint ribbon. I felt the personalization & attention to detail was wonderful. Like I said, David relates to his client’s grief & wants this last phase to be as painless as possible & create a positive last memory. Oh, did I mention the service is less than half of Agape & other cremation businesses. And those businesses are not personal or provide you with this level of love & kindness. I wish I would’ve found David years ago. When I lost my first boy I used the vet. The process wasn’t explain well, it took over 2 weeks to get him back and he came home in a cardboard box with very few ashes. I still remember leaving the vet bawling my eyes out just feeling awful. My experience with David was completely different leaving there i knew my baby would be taken care. David talked with us for well over 30 minutes explaining everything from how he will take care of my baby to why he started his business. I left knowing i made the right choice for my baby boy. He did a truly amazing job of preserving the memory of my baby boy. When i picked up my baby he was neatly placed in a bag with wrapping paper. David took the time to take his nose print, a clay paw print, a clipping of his fur and even his blanket (which he offered to cremate him in). David Nelson from Caring Pet Cremation Services was so incredibly kind and caring, loving even, to me and my sweet kitty Zoey. Caring Pet CS is much more than a cremation service. David came to my home, placed my dear Zoey in a wicker bassinet with kitty print blankets and returned her in a velvet bag just a couple of days later along with a clay paw print with her name and year, an inked nose print, fur clipping, memorial card and a certificate of cremation. He asked several times how I was doing, understanding that our Zoey wasn't just a cat or a pet but a member of our family for 14 1/2 years and we were grieving her loss.I highly recommend Caring Pet Cremation Services. When I returned home on September 25th, 2023. I called for Smudge and he didn't respond. I found him curled up in one of my drawers. I was sad that he was gone and relieved that he wasn't sick any more. I called Caring Pet and David told me everything to expect. I took him there the following day and he came back to me two days later. Everything was just as he said it would be. I hope I never need his services again but I was pleased with everything.

Caring pet cremation services treated my dog/son with dignity and respect. They were caring the whole way through. They got his footprint on clay so I would have it forever. They also cut a lock of hair so I can have that forever. I sent my son to them in a towel and they even cut some of that to have. The urn is beautiful and bears his name, Deejay. This is the first time I have ever had to do this and the experience made me smile and cry at the same time. I highly recommend using their services if you are ever in need of cremation.

I wanted to thank David for his compassion and kindness in the loss of our rabbit, Walter. David was quick to help us late in the evening when Walter passed. He goes above and beyond in the care that he provides. They live up to their name. We lost our sweet Pete (family dog for over 13 years) on a Thursday evening. I so wish I could give more than 5 stars.My whole experience started with the loss of my sweet kitty (Chicken). She was very old, but this was my first loss of a pet. I have taken it very hard.After a very rough start with the vets office I found David. And this man is amazing. So nice and caring. A True Gift of Life ...As a 1st-time pet owner, I was devastated when my chocolate shi zhu passed away on November 20th, 2023 after 15 years-he was my everything!!!! David, at Caring Pet Cremation, provides a needed service with respect and compassion.Our situation with our dog Daisy developed very quickly. We had initially contacted him for general information on his service, not realizing that 2 days later we would be actually needing his help.David's service was personal, reasonably priced, and he has a lot of experience in the profession. He was very patient as he walked us thru the process, answering all our many questions.One nice thing was his timeframe - the waiting period wasn't extensive. Once Daisy arrived at his facility in Aylett, we had her home 2 days later (going thru our vet would have taken a lot longer).Along with her ashes we also got back her collar, her paw print in plaster, a nose print, etc. Tangible things to remember her by.It's a tough, emotional situation, but if you have a beloved pet, this day will arrive. I cannot recommend this business highly enough. Everything was incredibly thoughtful and professionally done. Our sweet dog passed on a Sunday morning and our contact at an end of life program recommended we contact Caring Pet Cremation. David called us back within minutes, from his church, on his day off, and made quick plans to support us. He did offer to come to Richmond to pick up our girl and get everything settled at our home but we chose to drive out to his business. David was an incredible and caring professional. When that day inevitably comes and we are forced to say a final goodbye to our beloved pet there is only one person I would trust to give the care, respect and love they deserve, David Nelson of Caring Pet Cremation. We met this amazing man two years ago after a long hard 18 month battle with cancer. My daughters constant companion and best friend since she was 11 was Bruce, a 110 lb, 12 yr old English lab. His passing left her with a shattered heart on Easter Sunday two years ago. Thankfully I had done some checking so we weren’t forced to make such an important decision when our world was crumbling. I called David Easter Sunday evening from the ER vet. After offering his sympathy he said “Where are you? I’m coming to get your buddy.” I told him we would prefer to bring Bruce ourselves and made the hour long drive arriving at 9:30PM. David was outside waiting for us. He assured my daughter Bruce would be handled with love and reminded how much he was loved until he was returned home the very next day. As promised David drove an hour to return Bruce to his family. The one thing I remember most when talking to David was that unlike is done in most other vets and cremation places, he will never allow any pet to be placed in a black bag like they were trash. He places them gently in their favorite blanket, a piece of which is given back along with nose and paw prints. This experience stayed with us and gave me a bit of peace two years later when my 16 year old wolfhound, Baxter Riley, crossed over in my arms at 3:30 AM. Heartbroken I called David at 7AM crying. He remembered our Bruce and was ready to help us through this awful time. The very next afternoon my baby Baxter Riley was brought home again. Although I will always feel this loss I will also treasure the care I know my boy was given. His urn is beautiful, the clay paw print and nose print as well as a beautiful silver heart keychain mean so much. Men like David are rare and I will always be grateful for his kindness and compassion.

I would like to thank David for helping me during the loss of our beloved Kimi. She passed early Saturday morning and I did a search of services to find a crematory. Although the hours for opening was 7am, I call anyway at 6:30 just to see if a recording would give information. David answered the phone and told me to bring Kimi straight to him. Our Bull Mastiff passed after a short illness. Caroline was well loved by my wife & I and is very much missed. We knew we wanted to cremate her remains but weren't certain who would respect her and give us the services she deserved. A friend recommended David Nelson and his business, CPC. We called him shortly after Caroline passed, she died at home, a natural passing, and in our arms. We were devastated and still are. David himself answered the phone, there was no message center to have to deal with. His compassionate and comforting voice assured us he could help us and provide the care for Caroline according to our wishes. Within a couple of hours he came to our house, talked with us and offered his sympathies. I helped him carry Caroline to his vehicle, she weighed 116 lbs. He promised he would bring Caroline home to us the next day. Later the same evening he called and let us know when he would arrive with Caroline and he did. He came to our home the next morning bringing Caroline home. We wholeheartedly recommend David and his services to anyone in need. David is respectful of his customers and as important, is respectful of the lost family member who happens to be a pet. If you need this service, we cannot recommend David and CPC more highly.

Most respectful, kind, and caring company I've ever worked with from start to finish. I lost my fur baby and immediately searched for a cremation service for pets and with as many 5 stars as this place, it's a no brainer.When I called on a Thursday evening, David picked up and was very understanding about everything and super friendly. I wanted David to take Bambi as soon as possible, but the schedule was a bit tricky since I wouldn't be back home till Friday afternoon - meaning David (or someone) had to come Saturday. True to his word, David did what he could and made things work for me.David called me 15 minutes before arrival, showed up on time, and brought a cute carrier for Bambi. He went through the options and for Bambi, I want nothing but the best.Within 2 days, Bambi was returned to me in the most exquisite package ever. Leo, our 19 year old cat sadly passed away right before 4th of July. David, the owner, was exceptional in handling the process from beginning to end. We made to decision to put down our English Mastiff on a Saturday morning but we had problems finding a company who could come pick him up due to his size - over 6 ft long and 200 lbs. - so after call our local funeral home - I was given David's number. I called him and he answered immediately and was at our house 15 minutes after the vet arrived. He was caring and compassionate and he promised us that he would bring our beloved dog home the next day. Not only did he bring him home as promised but he provided us with fur clippings, a nose print and two paw imprints. Our dog's paws were so large that he had to improvise and he and his wife made an oval shaped mold to get the full paw. On our darkest day - I'm so thankful that we met an angel in David at Caring Pet Cremation!

When our dog, whose health had been deteriorating for weeks from lymphoma, didn’t wake up one Monday morning, we had no idea what to do.David answered immediately when we called him at 7:30 am. We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Jack Daniel on Sunday. We loved him beyond words. We had already used David Nelson’s Caring Pet Cremation Services for another beloved furry friend we lost in 2021. Since we had such a positive experience back then, we knew David would be the first person to call.David returned our call on a Sunday and we made all the arrangements on that day for a private cremation. David shows so much care, concern for our questions, and compassion. We had our boy's remains back within 48 hours.David prepared a beautiful package, placed in a bag with wrapping paper, to preserve the memory of our sweet boy: an urn with the ashes, a nose print, a clay paw print, fur clippings, and even a piece of his last blanket. Also included is the cremation certificate, the cremation tag, a “best memories” card that we will treasure after filling it out, and some resources to cope with the loss of a pet.Thank you David for your kindness and for treating our Jack Daniel with dignity.

My precious miniature poodle, Reignon Sweet Liberty (better known as Libby), had to be helped across the Rainbow Bridge. Making it even more difficult was the fact I could not be with her as I was in the hospital. Our wonderful vets, Dr. Lewis Wilkins and Dr. Lauriel Turner, took care of her and contacted David Nelson at Caring Pet Cremation Services for me. Upon my return home I was able to pick up my Sweet Liberty. Her entire package was in a paw-print paper bag and her little urn was wrapped in paw-print tissue paper. Along with her urn, was an envelope which contained her official cremation certificate, a small package of her fur, a small card with her passing date and her nose print. There was also a copy of the poem "Pawprints Left by You" and an amazing article, "Do Pets Go To Heaven" by Ptolemy Tompkins. Though this remembrance caused many tears, it also helped to know she was cared about even after her passing.I would highly recomment David Nelson of Caring Pet Cremation Services, LLC for his promptness, caring and services.

Today I picked up my ferret Dragon from Caring Pet Cremation Services. It is hard losing a beloved pet family member but I wanted to let you know how wonderful we were treated by David. He was very caring as he came to our car and placed my ferret Dragon in a basket and let my son wrap him in a blanket. We went through all of the paperwork and he ended saying we will care for you buddy Dragon. That was last Tuesday and he said he would be ready to go home Friday...the day after Thanksgiving. We were out of town and I said I would get him today.I called and drove out this morning. Each time I called he answered and addressed us as your buddy Dragon. I talked to his wife and she was just as caring as David was. Everything that he did for us to have as a wonderful memory of Dragon was beautiful ❤️. David was so kind and compassionate. He told us that he would pick our dog up with dignity and respect and take him into his care from the other cremation service that fouled everything up.David took exceptional care of our dog. His business, located in the country, is beautiful and peaceful with the sounds of nature in the background. It was serene and very calming. When we were able to see our pet one last time, David had him wrapped in a blanket and covered with a sheet. David's wife had beautiful flowers from her garden placed next to our pet. We lost our oldest fur baby Abby, a week ago today. My husband called David on a Sunday morning, still in the 7am hour, I believe, and he picked up the phone. That in itself was amazing. David came to my home, placed my dear Zoey in a wicker bassinet with kitty print blankets and returned her in a velvet bag just a couple of days later along with a clay paw print with her name and year, an inked nose print, fur clipping, memorial card and a certificate of cremation. I was sad that he was gone and relieved that he wasn't sick any more. I called Caring Pet and David told me everything to expect. I took him there the following day and he came back to me two days later. Everything was just as he said it would be. I hope I never need his services again but I was pleased with everything.

Caring pet cremation services treated my dog/son with dignity and respect. They were caring the whole way through. They got his footprint on clay so I would have it forever. They also cut a lock of hair so I can have that forever. I sent my son to them in a towel and they even cut some of that to have. The urn is beautiful and bears his name, Deejay. This is the first time I have ever had to do this and the experience made me smile and cry at the same time. I highly recommend using their services if you are ever in need of cremation.

I wanted to thank David for his compassion and kindness in the loss of our rabbit, Walter. David was quick to help us late in the evening when Walter passed. He goes above and beyond in the care that he provides. David not only returned Walter to us two days later but he also gave us some clippings of Walters fur, a print of his nose and paw and a nice poem. We will treasure all of that for years to come! My first bunny, Penelope, fought a battle the vets and myself unfortunately could not save. She passed away leaving me in complete shock and devastation. She was and still is my whole world. They live up to their name. We lost our sweet Pete (family dog for over 13 years) on a Thursday evening. We weren’t prepared for his passing and with the unexpected event we had no idea what we were going to be faced with in preparing Pete for burial... Caring Pet Cremation stepped up to the plate, were available that very same evening to help us with our precious guy. After loosing my sweet Holly, I looked online for a caring and thoughtful place to have her cremated. After reading many reviews I decided to reach out to CPC and I'm very glad I did. David and his wife are so very understanding and compassionate. I know my little sweet hedgehog was in good hands. We called Caring Pet Cremation Services when our 21 yo cat, Jasmine, passed. David was compassionate and made arrangements to have us meet him that afternoon.He brought a beautiful basket to carry our Jasi and respectfully finalized plans while we shared stories of our life with her.He delivered Jasi to our home the next day in a gift bag, with the beautiful sleeping cat urn we chose, wrapped in paw print paper and ribbon. In the bag was a nose print and a clip of her fur. He also provided a small cylinder keychain with some of her ashes because she had lived for over 20 years. In the bag was a small jar of honey with dipper as a thank you gift.We will use Caring Pet Cremation Services for our future needs. Losing my best friend, Weasley, was the hardest thing I have had to go through. David made the entire experience so much easier for me. I was able to feel at ease knowing that my little man was being very well taken care of. I called David a few hours after losing Weasley and he made a drive up in the middle of the night to the emergency hospital and placed him in a lovely basket. He brought him back to my front door, with hair clippings, a nose print, clay paw print, a beautiful urn and even cut out a piece of the blanket that I had him bundled up in. Tuesday our 2 y.o. English Bulldog was taken from us tragically and unexpectedly. David came to the rescue and was able to provide compassionate care to me and my family when we needed it the most. A True Gift of Life ...As a 1st-time pet owner, I was devastated when my chocolate shi zhu passed away on November 20th, 2023 after 15 years-he was my everything!!!! He was given to me on my 1first wedding anniversary by my husband (Jermaine), and when he placed the dog in my arms, I remember thinking that this man must have lost his mind. Compassionate and understanding are just a few words that come to mind for David when I think of the terrible ordeal of losing a beloved furry family member. Our Figaro took a very quick turn downhill and we were left with very little time to make arrangements. David came out the very same afternoon to pick up Figgy and would have returned him me in a few days had I not requested that Figaro come back home sooner. I would like to thank David for helping me during the loss of our beloved Kimi. She passed early Saturday morning and I did a search of services to find a crematory. Although the hours for opening was 7am, I call anyway at 6:30 just to see if a recording would give information. David answered the phone and told me to bring Kimi straight to him. I first discovered CPC a couple of years ago when a very special rooster of mine passed away, I called after dark on a weekday and David told me I could come right then to bring him, he was so friendly, helpful and it didn't seem to faze him that this wasn't the typical domesticated pet. The cremation happened very quickly, and David even met me closer in to deliver our buddy back to us. Fast forward to this Sunday, my beloved cat Dolly passed away and CPC was the first place I thought of knowing I wanted to have Dolly cremated, I reached out in tears and yet again, David was helpful, let me bring her that day, cremated my girl the next day and I picked her up that evening. I could not be more grateful for CPC's help when grief stricken. Us pet lovers all know what's in store when we own a pet, there's always that one day we don't want to think about, but I could not recommend CPC more when you're in that unfortunate place in time.

I beloved 11 year old dog passed away in our arms early Easter morning. We were devastated and did not know what the next step was especially early on Easter morning. I called Caring Pet Cremation Services at 9:00 Easter Sunday morning and left a message asking for help. Our Bull Mastiff passed after a short illness. Caroline was well loved by my wife & I and is very much missed. We knew we wanted to cremate her remains but weren't certain who would respect her and give us the services she deserved. A friend recommended David Nelson and his business, CPC. We called him shortly after Caroline passed, she died at home, a natural passing, and in our arms. We were devastated and still are. David himself answered the phone, there was no message center to have to deal with. His compassionate and comforting voice assured us he could help us and provide the care for Caroline according to our wishes. Within a couple of hours he came to our house, talked with us and offered his sympathies. I helped him carry Caroline to his vehicle, she weighed 116 lbs. He promised he would bring Caroline home to us the next day. Later the same evening he called and let us know when he would arrive with Caroline and he did. He came to our home the next morning bringing Caroline home. We wholeheartedly recommend David and his services to anyone in need. David is respectful of his customers and as important, is respectful of the lost family member who happens to be a pet. If you need this service, we cannot recommend David and CPC more highly.

I’ve known David’s wife for years, as we both volunteered for a local rescue squad and both became RN’s later. When our sweet Lucy was nearing her end at age 15, David was there for us. We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Jack Daniel on Sunday. We loved him beyond words. We had already used David Nelson’s Caring Pet Cremation Services for another beloved furry friend we lost in 2021. Since we had such a positive experience back then, we knew David would be the first person to call.David returned our call on a Sunday and we made all the arrangements on that day for a private cremation. David shows so much care, concern for our questions, and compassion. We had our boy's remains back within 48 hours.David prepared a beautiful package, placed in a bag with wrapping paper, to preserve the memory of our sweet boy: an urn with the ashes, a nose print, a clay paw print, fur clippings, and even a piece of his last blanket. Also included is the cremation certificate, the cremation tag, a “best memories” card that we will treasure after filling it out, and some resources to cope with the loss of a pet.Thank you David for your kindness and for treating our Jack Daniel with dignity.

My precious miniature poodle, Reignon Sweet Liberty (better known as Libby), had to be helped across the Rainbow Bridge. Making it even more difficult was the fact I could not be with her as I was in the hospital. Our wonderful vets, Dr. Lewis Wilkins and Dr. Lauriel Turner, took care of her and contacted David Nelson at Caring Pet Cremation Services for me. Upon my return home I was able to pick up my Sweet Liberty. Her entire package was in a paw-print paper bag and her little urn was wrapped in paw-print tissue paper. Along with her urn, was an envelope which contained her official cremation certificate, a small package of her fur, a small card with her passing date and her nose print. There was also a copy of the poem "Pawprints Left by You" and an amazing article, "Do Pets Go To Heaven" by Ptolemy Tompkins. Though this remembrance caused many tears, it also helped to know she was cared about even after her passing.I would highly recomment David Nelson of Caring Pet Cremation Services, LLC for his promptness, caring and services.

Today I picked up my ferret Dragon from Caring Pet Cremation Services. It is hard losing a beloved pet family member but I wanted to let you know how wonderful we were treated by David. He was very caring as he came to our car and placed my ferret Dragon in a basket and let my son wrap him in a blanket. We went through all of the paperwork and he ended saying we will care for you buddy Dragon. That was last Tuesday and he said he would be ready to go home Friday...the day after Thanksgiving. We were out of town and I said I would get him today.I called and drove out this morning. Each time I called he answered and addressed us as your buddy Dragon. I talked to his wife and she was just as caring as David was. Everything that he did for us to have as a wonderful memory of Dragon was beautiful ❤️. A few years ago, David helped us with our first dog, Marty, who passed away. David was very kind and thoughtful in his care. Sadly we just had our other dog, Coka, pass away and again needed David's services. Once again, David was very respectful of our wishes to a private cremation and arrived right after our at-home euthanasia vet visited. He provided us with a stretcher and blanket to wrap our baby in which he transported to his facility. He made me feel as if she was the most important pet ever. David even managed to cremate my Faith the same day and returned her cremains to me at my home. All of the things in the bag with the urn..paw print, nose print, hair clipping, and even printed material about pets and heaven...were wonderful and comforting. I wish I could give more stars!!! I called David last Sunday evening right after my daughter's sweet ESA, Bella, was hit on the highway. He came right away and was there for our family at 9 pm. He gave us so much time and patience to say our goodbye and really knew how to keep a calming voice to set us at ease. The price was exceptional for the amount of service and care he gave our family. David allowed us some private time to be with our dog before cremation. Our dog passed away suddenly on a Friday night. I called David on Saturday and he put me at ease that Sophie would be handled with the utmost care. I was able to drop her off Saturday afternoon, pick out a beautiful urn for her and walk through the available options. By Monday she was resting peacefully back in our home. After loosing my sweet Holly, I looked online for a caring and thoughtful place to have her cremated. After reading many reviews I decided to reach out to CPC and I'm very glad I did. David and his wife are so very understanding and compassionate. I know my little sweet hedgehog was in good hands. We called Caring Pet Cremation Services when our 21 yo cat, Jasmine, passed. David was compassionate and made arrangements to have us meet him that afternoon.He brought a beautiful basket to carry our Jasi and respectfully finalized plans while we shared stories of our life with her.He delivered Jasi to our home the next day in a gift bag, with the beautiful sleeping cat urn we chose, wrapped in paw print paper and ribbon. In the bag was a nose print and a clip of her fur. He also provided a small cylinder keychain with some of her ashes because she had lived for over 20 years. In the bag was a small jar of honey with dipper as a thank you gift.We will use Caring Pet Cremation Services for our future needs. During a time of loss and sadness, David's gentle, caring and efficient manner made a difficult time a little easier.

Losing my best friend, Weasley, was the hardest thing I have had to go through. David made the entire experience so much easier for me. I was able to feel at ease knowing that my little man was being very well taken care of. I called David a few hours after losing Weasley and he made a drive up in the middle of the night to the emergency hospital and placed him in a lovely basket. He brought him back to my front door, with hair clippings, a nose print, clay paw print, a beautiful urn and even cut out a piece of the blanket that I had him bundled up in. I don't think I can ever thank CPC enough for giving me the best experience during a truly difficult time. Tuesday our 2 y.o. English Bulldog was taken from us tragically and unexpectedly. David came to the rescue and was able to provide compassionate care to me and my family when we needed it the most. My sweet dog Angel who was about to turn 16 years old this February hurt her back the first week in January 2023, she was touch and go for about two and a half weeks before finally succumbing to her injury and the stress of it. She passed away in my arms early in the morning of Jan 19th. I was and am devastated but I knew I needed to find a place to cremate her remains with dignity.After an extensive google search I found Caring Pet Cremation Services, LLC. I am so happy I did, I called and go to David Nelson right away, he was so kind and helpful, at the time I didn't know he was the owner but I felt so at easy speaking with him and after reading all the wonderful reviews for his company I decided to go with him to take care of my baby's cremation.My husband, son, and I made the difficult drive to his location and met him at his property where he does the cremation and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful his set up is. His gardens and soothing and so beautiful. He and Angel (coincidentally same name as my furbaby) met us with a little bassinet to put my baby in for her last journey on this earth.They were both so charming, so kind, so incredibly human in the way they treated us. I am forever grateful for their kindness and patience, they spoke with us for a few hours never making us feel like they were rushing, just a couple of wonderful humans showing incredible empathy towards other hurting humans.When we finally had to say goodbye to our little Angel and drive away leaving her remains behind and feeling that we had left her in good hands, I was heartbroken form our loss but also grateful for finding David and Angel.When we got Angel's remains back the care and attention they put in the package we chose to memorialize her is both beautiful and touching. I highly recommend them should you ever need their services, I know that if I ever do need them I will chose them over any other cremation service for my furry babies.Thank you David and Angel for everything you did and who you are. Our beautiful beloved fur baby Layla passed away Saturday morning at 7:20 am. Our daughter reached out to Dave a few minutes later and Dave was at our home picking up our sweet girl not long after. We can’t even begin to convey our appreciation for all you did!! Dave is the most caring, compassionate and wonderful individual we have met. This company has ethics and integrity in how they handle this very difficult time! He allowed us time to say our goodbyes and prayers. He did not rush us through the process, he did not treat her like she was a number, but handled her as if she was one of his own family members! In the loss of our cat, Phoenix, David was such a compassionate and kind person. We took the journey to his place and he gave us our space to say our final goodbye, even allowed us to have our final walk with Phoenix to the cremation site and provided a lot of reassurance to us in our wishes for Phoenix. I highly recommend CPC. My precious Bear lost his fight to cancer and passed away in his sleep on the evening of 08/01/22. I looked online for cremation services and called David 10 minutes to 7am the following morning 08/02 instead of calling our vet and I’m so glad I did. This was my first time dealing with getting a beloved pet cremated. My Bear didn’t need to sit in a freezer for days. I was able to bring him to David within an hour and a half, and picked him up the very next day 08/03. The process was easy and peaceful knowing where my Bear was on David’s residence, and knowing that I left my Bear in trustworthy and caring hands. David is a professional yet gentle and compassionate man. Bear’s box urn was carefully and neatly packaged. David was able to fit Bear’s tail and his front+back paw on his clay print. I was also given an ink print of his nose as well as fur clippings and I could not have asked for a better service. I have more beloved pets at home and CPC is where I will be taking them whenever their time comes too. My precious Bear is at his final resting place in his beautiful box urn, and back in his room where his siblings still live. Thank you for everything David

I first discovered CPC a couple of years ago when a very special rooster of mine passed away, I called after dark on a weekday and David told me I could come right then to bring him, he was so friendly, helpful and it didn't seem to faze him that this wasn't the typical domesticated pet. The cremation happened very quickly, and David even met me closer in to deliver our buddy back to us. Fast forward to this Sunday, my beloved cat Dolly passed away and CPC was the first place I thought of knowing I wanted to have Dolly cremated, I reached out in tears and yet again, David was helpful, let me bring her that day, cremated my girl the next day and I picked her up that evening. I could not be more grateful for CPC's help when grief stricken. David took my call the very next morning after my Frenchie Oakley passed, he came in on a Sunday to help out our family at our worst time, Oakley passed on Sept 30th 2023 at 9pm she was hit by a car, we took her to him that next morning on the 1st and he had everything ready for us to pick her by by the 3rd to our own fault we couldn't pick her up until today the 4th of Oct. On Friday, June 3, 2022 our sweet Daisy walked down the hill in the back yard & laid down & took her last breath. She has been with our family for 12 years & will forever be in our hearts. Daisy belonged to our youngest son who passed away in 2016 in a car crash, needless to say, Daisy was much more than a pet…she was the last thing we had of him. Caring Pet Cremations was referred to us by a friend & we could not be more thankful for this. Mr Nelson came to our house around 6:30 pm to explain the process & to carefully pick up our Daisy Queen to begin this process. He promised us that he would take excellent care of our girl & that he would return her to us the following day. Less than 24 hours later, we had our Daisy Queen back with us. He clipped some of her beautiful hair & carefully placed in a bag, a ink print of her nose & paw. Also attached was a keychain with some of her ashes so that she could ride with us where ever we go. Our fur baby (Izzy) had been diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago. He waited until I got home from work yesterday before he took his last breath. My daughter and I were devastated but prepared. We just thought we had a little more time. I did a Google search and found "David". What an Angel! He was compassionate and he waited for us to bring Izzy to him, even though it was getting late in the evening. When we picked up Izzy's remains today, the packaging was just beautiful. I beloved 11 year old dog passed away in our arms early Easter morning. We were devastated and did not know what the next step was especially early on Easter morning. I called Caring Pet Cremation Services at 9:00 Easter Sunday morning and left a message asking for help. A few years ago, David helped us with our first dog, Marty, who passed away. David was very kind and thoughtful in his care. Sadly we just had our other dog, Coka, pass away and again needed David's services. Once again, David was very respectful of our wishes to a private cremation and arrived right after our at-home euthanasia vet visited. He provided us with a stretcher and blanket to wrap our baby in which he transported to his facility. He made me feel as if she was the most important pet ever. David even managed to cremate my Faith the same day and returned her cremains to me at my home. I wish I could give more stars!!! I called David last Sunday evening right after my daughter's sweet ESA, Bella, was hit on the highway. He came right away and was there for our family at 9 pm. Contacted David in October to inquire about cremation services for our beloved 14 year old American Eskimo, Skippy, who was so ill that we couldn't bear his suffering to continue. After my fur baby left us we went to the CPC service address to see what it was like. It was in a beautiful wooded setting with the crematorium separate and privately placed in the wooded setting. It was beautiful and I felt so relieved sitting in the gazebo area talking to the owner. He greeted us with a baby basket and blankets to place her in. Such a royalty treatment she would've loved. I would highly recommend using Caring Pet Cremation Services! Mr. Nelson was so kind and caring in helping us through a difficult night! Our dog unexpectedly passed away late one evening while my husband was out of town, and I had no idea what to do. Mr. Nelson kindly agreed to pick up our dog that night despite having an hour drive to get to our house! I truly appreciated him doing that for us! My beautiful ruby passed on her own yesterday morning. She was my very best friend she gave me15 wonderful years which is never enough. I was inconsolable but Mr David was at my home within the hour when we called. He was so gentle and kind with her and explained everything he was doing to transport her. Here is a wonderful person feeling my complete anguish.here is such a nice person who felt like family because he took such good care of my darling ruby. Ruby came back home today to me less than 24 hours. Everything brought to me was lovingly wrapped with pretty bows and bags and a exquisite box for her. I lost my little chinchilla of 10 years on Valentine’s Day. I was really worried that I would have to bury him, because it was a holiday weekend and most cremation services were closed. However, I found Caring Pet Cremation Services online and gave the number a call early on Saturday morning. The owner answered immediately and was very thoughtful and accommodating. When I arrived, he brought out a very cute basket to carry my baby in and made plans for a Monday afternoon pick up. He actually called me Sunday evening and went out of his way to meet me closer to my home. Everything was packaged very nicely. It included: a nose print, a paw print, a fur clipping, and a cute black and white marbled urn. I feel like they treated my chinchilla with the upmost respect and they were really a blessing for me in a dark moment of my life.

David and Angel did an incredible job through the entire difficult process and made the aftermath of our sweet Lenore’s passing as peaceful and gentle as possible. Recently, my boys lost their childhood best friend. Nittany grew up with them and will never be forgotten. Her passing was sudden on a late Saturday night. We were at a loss in so many ways. One being, what to do on a Sunday morning with our vet closed? The kind words and reviews that David Nelson got on his site aided in our decision. I must say.. all true!! It was obvious from our first phone call that David is a very caring person. He was so kind in his manner and made the very sad loss of our dog of almost 17 years a little easier. As we live quite a distance from Richmond he made arrangements to meet us halfway. And then met us again the next day to bring back our Fagin. My sweet dog Angel who was about to turn 16 years old this February hurt her back the first week in January 2023, she was touch and go for about two and a half weeks before finally succumbing to her injury and the stress of it. She passed away in my arms early in the morning of Jan 19th. I was and am devastated but I knew I needed to find a place to cremate her remains with dignity.After an extensive google search I found Caring Pet Cremation Services, LLC. I am so happy I did, I called and go to David Nelson right away, he was so kind and helpful, at the time I didn't know he was the owner but I felt so at easy speaking with him and after reading all the wonderful reviews for his company I decided to go with him to take care of my baby's cremation.My husband, son, and I made the difficult drive to his location and met him at his property where he does the cremation and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful his set up is. His gardens and soothing and so beautiful. He and Angel (coincidentally same name as my furbaby) met us with a little bassinet to put my baby in for her last journey on this earth.They were both so charming, so kind, so incredibly human in the way they treated us. I am forever grateful for their kindness and patience, they spoke with us for a few hours never making us feel like they were rushing, just a couple of wonderful humans showing incredible empathy towards other hurting humans.When we finally had to say goodbye to our little Angel and drive away leaving her remains behind and feeling that we had left her in good hands, I was heartbroken form our loss but also grateful for finding David and Angel.When we got Angel's remains back the care and attention they put in the package we chose to memorialize her is both beautiful and touching. I highly recommend them should you ever need their services, I know that if I ever do need them I will chose them over any other cremation service for my furry babies.Thank you David and Angel for everything you did and who you are. Our beautiful beloved fur baby Layla passed away Saturday morning at 7:20 am. Our daughter reached out to Dave a few minutes later and Dave was at our home picking up our sweet girl not long after. We can’t even begin to convey our appreciation for all you did!! Dave is the most caring, compassionate and wonderful individual we have met. This company has ethics and integrity in how they handle this very difficult time! He allowed us time to say our goodbyes and prayers. He did not rush us through the process, he did not treat her like she was a number, but handled her as if she was one of his own family members! He called us the next day and brought our sweet girl home to us in a beautiful urn, with a nose print, paw print, hair clippings and the flowers we sent with her were also sealed with a bow and placed in the wooden urn.The personal touch and compassion is beyond anything we have ever encountered before! In the loss of our cat, Phoenix, David was such a compassionate and kind person. We took the journey to his place and he gave us our space to say our final goodbye, even allowed us to have our final walk with Phoenix to the cremation site and provided a lot of reassurance to us in our wishes for Phoenix. I highly recommend CPC. My precious Bear lost his fight to cancer and passed away in his sleep on the evening of 08/01/22. I looked online for cremation services and called David 10 minutes to 7am the following morning 08/02 instead of calling our vet and I’m so glad I did. This was my first time dealing with getting a beloved pet cremated. My Bear didn’t need to sit in a freezer for days. I was able to bring him to David within an hour and a half, and picked him up the very next day 08/03. The process was easy and peaceful knowing where my Bear was on David’s residence, and knowing that I left my Bear in trustworthy and caring hands. David is a professional yet gentle and compassionate man. Bear’s box urn was carefully and neatly packaged. David was able to fit Bear’s tail and his front+back paw on his clay print. I was also given an ink print of his nose as well as fur clippings and I could not have asked for a better service. I have more beloved pets at home and CPC is where I will be taking them whenever their time comes too. My precious Bear is at his final resting place in his beautiful box urn, and back in his room where his siblings still live. Thank you for everything David

When I suddenly lost my guinea pig siren I was crushed, I called David and he was able to meet me the same day to allow me to drop off my little baby. Can’t thank David enough for his kindness! When he got the phone call from my husband and heard our situation where our baby had been at another crematory on hold indefinitely due to COVID because we wanted a private cremation and I was heartbroken enough he said oh no can you bring her today! We were able to get her released and David was so caring and let us have that private we wanted, have a moment to be with her again, let me watch him make her paw print in clay, and let me stay til he closed the door per my wish as I wanted to be there til that moment! When I returned he had her nose prints, the clay we did, her remains all beautifully down in bows and a silver heart necklace tied around the urn with a bit in it too to go have engraved it was all just presented so nice! And he just made it all feel so comfortable and caring! He was genuine and really cares for his clients!!

This experience was excellent. I had arranged for a home vet to come euthanize my dog. I called ahead to David to request his service. He got the time that the vet was scheduled for, and was waiting outside. So from beginning to end, this traumatic event took no more than 30 minutes in a setting that was comfortable for my dog, and I didn't have to be traumatized by having her body linger here. David brought her ashes to me the following day. I highly recommend this to anyone considering it.

It's still hard for me to talk about the loss of my Pit Bull and my Best friend, Zee. Unfortunately, we had to put her to sleep on April 11th. As hard as it was to have to go through with this, the professional and compassionate service CPC provided made it a little more bearable. I couldn't have been more pleased with how they handled Zee, gave my wife and I time to say our goodbyes, and treated her remains respectfully. David and his associate were such a pleasure to meet, talk to, and work with. He was very helpful in making the arrangements and picking the perfect urn. Everything we ordered as well as Zee's ashes were all delivered personally and in a couple of days beautifully wrapped and prepared. The care that was demonstrated through the whole process was incredible and I am so grateful for it. I would recommend CPC over and over again.

I called David this morning shortly after CPC opened. He was so patient and understanding as I tried to find the words to explain that I needed his services. David was so kind in offering to come transport my sweet Mathea who had passed, but I insisted that I needed to do it myself.Upon my husband’s and my arrival this morning, David greeted us very warmly and walked us through the process, ensured we understood our options, and answered our questions. David is wonderful, he is the kind of guy who you meet for the first time, but feel that you have known him for much longer.David is very professional and he is genuinely compassionate and such a warm soul. Greetings! At the time of this review, it has been exactly two months since my beloved Zoey passed away from congestive heart failure (10/21/21). She was 14 years old. I saw hints here and there that she was slowly declining and to be honest, she really prepared me for the last two years so that I could accept her absence in peace. When I inquired about her condition to the vet, they told me in so many words to start cherishing every moment with her.About a month before her death, I began looking up cremation services, and came across Caring Pet Cremation Services. I sat on the couch and read every 5-star review--smiling and crying at all of the thoughtful words. I didn't give them a call right away, because as one review said--I wouldn't know what to say or how to say it. And I wasn't ready quite yet.Zoey was on medication until the last few days of her life. I'd like to think that she waited for me as I attended a brief conference. When I picked her up on that Monday, she was filled with excitement when she saw me! But as soon as we settled at home is when she started going downhill. On a Thursday, three days later, I was on the way to the vet and called David. First of all, I was prepared to leave a message since it was a little after 7:00 am, and he answered right away. Then, I couldn't even get out my words. People, he gave me such assurance and soothing words--told me about his services, etc. I told David that I wasn't sure what was going to happen, as she had declined so fast that it wasn't looking good (no eating/drinking, couldn't stand, etc.). By the time I got to the vet, and they confirmed that her little heart couldn't take it, I said that I needed to call David back--the vet said that he was in the back waiting. Wait....HOW? I just called him! For him to be already at the vet waiting before I could confirm her condition was just a blessing. He again gave me reassuring words and helped me with Zoey's arrangements.Two days later, on Saturday morning, he called saying that I could pick up Zoey's package at the vet. My mom and I rode over to the vet within an hour and opened the most beautiful package prepared. I picked out a nice urn for Zoey, received a clay paw print with her name on it, clippings of her hair, a nose print, and a beautiful insert about dogs going to heaven--just like we talked about on the phone two days prior. I cried. The pricing was very reasonable!! I had my own memorial that very day with my mom/aunties/grandma, passing around that beautiful urn paying our respects.I thank David for being there for me when I couldn't speak, and for giving me such lovely tokens of love that I will forever cherish. Although my review took a lot longer to write, I still grieve everyday without her, but am grateful for the care and compassion that this service has. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!

David took my call the very next morning after my Frenchie Oakley passed, he came in on a Sunday to help out our family at our worst time, Oakley passed on Sept 30th 2023 at 9pm she was hit by a car, we took her to him that next morning on the 1st and he had everything ready for us to pick her by by the 3rd to our own fault we couldn't pick her up until today the 4th of Oct. The clay paw print with her name on it, ink nose print and fur clipping he made, as well as providing a bag so I could open it when I was ready instead of immediately helped with my anxiety as well as providing us her collar really helped me during this process to still feel close to her and gave me closure of bringing her forever home. On Friday, June 3, 2022 our sweet Daisy walked down the hill in the back yard & laid down & took her last breath. She has been with our family for 12 years & will forever be in our hearts. Daisy belonged to our youngest son who passed away in 2016 in a car crash, needless to say, Daisy was much more than a pet…she was the last thing we had of him. Caring Pet Cremations was referred to us by a friend & we could not be more thankful for this. Mr Nelson came to our house around 6:30 pm to explain the process & to carefully pick up our Daisy Queen to begin this process. He promised us that he would take excellent care of our girl & that he would return her to us the following day. Less than 24 hours later, we had our Daisy Queen back with us. He clipped some of her beautiful hair & carefully placed in a bag, a ink print of her nose & paw. Also attached was a keychain with some of her ashes so that she could ride with us where ever we go. On such a tragic day, Mr Nelson comforted & blessed our family. We will forever be grateful for taking care of our girl.Sincerely,The Ballards.

I would be remiss if I did not write this review tonight! I am beyond grateful to David Nelson @CaringPetCremationServicesLLC, My fiancée & I were in the car on the way to the vet appt for euthanasia, with are sweet little girl Bootsie, who had a got breast cancer the end of October and the tumor removed in November only to find out the cells had aggressively spread after trying further strong treatment with no success, my sweet girl was ready to leave her pain behind. I called David he said he be at the vet in an hour, due to our location, to pick her up. He was there on time, professional, nice, caring offered to allow me to say me last goodbyes and hugs and to see she would be carefully and respectfully placed Into the vehicle. I opted to not because I had been crying my eyes out and was in the room when she took her final breath and I gave her all the hugs and kisses and tears to fill a swimming pool. He delivered her to me the very next day (today) and without spoiling the surprise, I will just say yes, she did arrive in the urn with the nose print and the certificate as promised... but I had no idea, or expectation that Mr. Nelson would go above and beyond to memorialize my sweet Bootsie. I would not want to spoil that surprise for anyone, because, this has been the worst thing, my family and my other dog are all deeply saddened by our loss and to see the presentation of how he presented my girl just warmed my heart. Warning Label: Be prepared to cry your eyes out.David I cannot thank you enough, it is clear you take pride in what you do. I do have another older pup so one day I will be calling you again, hopefully no years soon.Respectfully

Our fur baby (Izzy) had been diagnosed with cancer 3 weeks ago. He waited until I got home from work yesterday before he took his last breath. My daughter and I were devastated but prepared. We lost our "little man", Radar on Oct. 26, 2020We took him to our vet for cremation and were told he would be in a freezer for 5 days until he could be picked up and another week before he would be back to usThis hurt us more than we could standCalled David at Caring Pet Cremation services, and he said to get Radar and bring him to his place and he would take care of him the same day and we could take him home with us.David was so comforting and compassionate and caring. We were so glad to bring Radar home.David even gave us a small heart charm with some of Radar's ashes. We take this with us everywhere. I first found CPC in 2019 when we lost one of our cats. David compassionately guided and helped us through our loss then. Now we have lost the brother kitty. There was no doubt that we were turning to David to help us say goodbye and memorialize our other boy. He treats the fur babies gentle and lovingly. The atmosphere of the crematory is peaceful and serene. This is a business that truly cares about their clients. If you are looking for a pet cremation service, I'm sorry for your loss. Contacted David in October to inquire about cremation services for our beloved 14 year old American Eskimo, Skippy, who was so ill that we couldn't bear his suffering to continue. Upon speaking to David I knew I didn't need to search any further. He met us at the veterinarian and in a compassionate manner totally took charge and greatly reduced the anxiety and sorrow we were experiencing. I firmly believe that should you call on David for assistance with your pet, you will be adding your positive recommendation to the many he has received.

After my fur baby left us we went to the CPC service address to see what it was like. It was in a beautiful wooded setting with the crematorium separate and privately placed in the wooded setting. It was beautiful and I felt so relieved sitting in the gazebo area talking to the owner. He greeted us with a baby basket and blankets to place her in. Such a royalty treatment she would've loved. So feel confident when he pickes up your pet that its something doggies would just love. Beautiful, kind,caring setting. She was delivered to us wrapped beautifully with needed information. I loved it and so will you.

I would highly recommend using Caring Pet Cremation Services! Mr. Nelson was so kind and caring in helping us through a difficult night! Our dog unexpectedly passed away late one evening while my husband was out of town, and I had no idea what to do. Mr. Nelson kindly agreed to pick up our dog that night despite having an hour drive to get to our house! I truly appreciated him doing that for us! Also, he took great care in taking our dog away and returning him to us a day or 2 later with a couple special things to remember our dog by like a nose and paw print! I was amazed at how much compassion and care he showed through the process. Thank you, Mr. Nelson!

Our experience with Caring Pet Cremation Services far exceeded our expectations. After losing a precious piece of our life, a life lost too short, we were treated with genuine care and concern, with the upmost professionalism. Here you are not just a customer, but feel as though you are being treated as family. They honestly care about you, your feelings and your story. When we received our sweet little girl, I could tell so much care went into this delicate process. I hope to never experience such a loss like this again, but if I do, will use Caring Pet Cremation Services in a blink of an eye without hesitation. Highly recommend!! I cannot put into words how pleased we were with Caring Pet Cremation Services. David showed the upmost respect and dignity to our beloved pet from the moment he arrived to the next day when he delivered our baby back to us in a beautiful urn. Every detail was covered from the beginning to the painful end, and David made it so much easier to say goodbye. I would recommend his services to anyone saying goodbye to their beloved pet.

The compassionate service that David provided was most caring and supportive for us at a most difficult time. We had traveled from out of state and our beloved Gonya passed while we were in town and also dealing with a family emergency. He was available when we needed him, provided us her remains the next day with many other special remembrances to take back home with us. His business offers a most valuable service to the community and we highly recommend him as he treated our Gonya with the utmost respect and care.

My beautiful ruby passed on her own yesterday morning. She was my very best friend she gave me15 wonderful years which is never enough. I was inconsolable but Mr David was at my home within the hour when we called. He was so gentle and kind with her and explained everything he was doing to transport her. Here is a wonderful person feeling my complete anguish.here is such a nice person who felt like family because he took such good care of my darling ruby. Ruby came back home today to me less than 24 hours. Everything brought to me was lovingly wrapped with pretty bows and bags and a exquisite box for her. They put so much thought into every step they make for your loved one amazing person I feel much better. God bless you Mr David at cpc until we need you again Stephen and Loree Graley.
