My vet sent my little Maltese to Island Memorial after she passed. When I picked up her remains, she was in a beautiful carved wooden box with a clay medallion of her paw print. They were in a lovely tulle bag. Such a thoughtful and elegant presentation.

I heartily recommend Island Memorial to anyone seeking cremation for their pet. These gentle folks took great care of my dog and me. From the very first phone call to when I picked up Annie's cremains, they were kind, compassionate, and very professional. Island Memorial helped ease a very difficult time for me.

Our wonderful girl Annie of 16 years passed suddenly. Called Island Memorial and they were extremely sympathetic and consoling. When they came that morning to get her for cremation they were very professional and respectful. I would recommend them to anyone who loses a loved one.

Our beloved little boy Jesse suddenly became very ill. And had to be put down. Our hearts were broken because he was such a sweet little boy. Island memorial was contacted to help us with his cremation. They handled him with loving care and returned Jesse to us with in a week in a beautiful box. We are so grateful for the care they gave us during this terribly difficult time. Thank you for the compassion you gave us.

I recently lost my maltese Bella. My vet uses their services. I cannot say enough good things about them. When I went to pick her up.. they already had her in a very nice wooden box. It had her name on the bottom. It made me feel they had treated her gently and respected my feelings instead of placing her in a cardboard box. I would highly recommend their services. Thank you Island Memorial for taking care of our little girl.

Island Memorial’s staff were so kind and could not have been more compassionate and understanding of how difficult it was for me to say goodbye to my beloved kitty. They don’t rush you, they don’t push to up-sell you on anything, and they make the process work for you. I was so thankful that they were so accommodating at such a difficult time, even with a last minute schedule change.I felt assured that they would take care of my boy, and I was impressed with how he was returned to me.I would definitely recommend them.

I could not have asked for a better way to manage the death of our much loved German Shepherd. I communicated with Stacey ahead of our dog's passing because it was expected to happen soon. She was more than accommodating and very understanding, and explained everything in great detail. I chose to do the private service. When our Sunny passed away, Stacey was able to get me on the schedule the same day. She was very nice and understood the fact that I wasn't even able to talk through my tears, and was willing to text about all the details. I came in and Sunny was very gently placed on a table with a nice white cloth. Stacey and two other employees (who seemed to be there just for my service specifically) gave me time to say good-bye in a separate room - just me and Sunny, and when I was ready, I let them know. They took Sunny and placed her gently inside the oven. They let me cremate her with Sunny's favorite toy and a tulip I placed on her body. They were very professional, the whole place was very peaceful, clean and calm. I never felt rushed. I came back for Sunny's ashes a couple of hours later. They were in a beautiful carved wooden box. I could not have asked for a better closure. If this is important to you, you also receive an official death certificate for your beloved pet. I felt super comfortable, even though I was a sobbing mess. Everybody there was very respectful and welcoming which made the experience very comforting. I highly recommend Island Memorial. If you need to say good-bye to your pet, this is a place to do it.

Extremely compassionate from beginning to end. I was shocked to know some vets send their pets out of state, it was a huge relief to know my cat never left Vermont during the process. For as long as I have pets in my life, I won’t be using any other place.

I was in contact with Island Memorial Pet Services prior to my pets passing. She was a 90 lb, very elderly dog with cancer, and I knew the time was coming, so I had talked to the service center to pre-arrange the services and get an understanding of the process. I requested a witness cremation. The entire process from them picking her up at home from an in-home euthenasia to the cremation process was done with great compassion, professionalism, and care. They gave us all the time we needed with our dog before we gave them the ok to take her. They wrapped her up with care and gentleness. When I arrived at the cremation center a few day later, they had her tucked in comfortable, looking like she was almost asleep, and let me say goodbye. It was important to me that I saw her off. They allowed me to watch her go into the cremation chamber, and look in at any time through the window from the waiting room to the crematorium. I was able to wait throught he entire process, and they returned her in a lovely wooden box.A witness cremation may not be for everyone, but for me it gave me great comfort to hold vigil for my beloved pet until the end. The two gentleman that saw me through the process were kind, understanding, and very compassionate. I highly recommend Island Memorial, I cannot express how much this helped me with my own deep grieving at the loss of my girl and the feeling of confidence and relief that she was cared for and that I got all of her back home.

Our cat recently died unexpectedly after being hit by a car. I am so grateful for Island Memorial for being so kind and respectful. Their professionalism and acknowledgment of my grief made an emotional situation a bit easier. And the wooden urn with her remains is a beautiful memorial. Thank you!

Everyone was very kind and helpful. It had to happen that my dog was put down and i couldn't have asked for a nicer or kinder group of people to deal with during those kinds of situations.
