When we brought Eric home from the cremation facility. I really liked the details they added. They included several pouches of hair from him. They included a medallion that was with him through the entire process. We paid extra for his paw print which I know was worth the extra $30. They also own Hide-A-Way Small Animal Clinic. We have the absolute best vet out there! Dr. Hailey is truly a gift from God. So if you are in East Texas and are in need of any of these pet services please think of them. When I unpacked everything on my bed to look at it all Jackson came and threw a fit to see what was going on. I put him up and he just smelled it and laid next to the box. I don’t know if he can smell Eric or not. I do know he had no interest in being up on the bed until Eric was home. This is an extremely hard thing to go through. It really helps to have people so dedicated to helping you get through this rough time.Jeff and Laney

I'd like to rave on Pets and Friends: Pet Crematorium & Memorials again. They have handled all of my pups since moving to this area. I called on Sunday knowing they were closed but left a message about Leo. Mrs. Kathy went pick him up that day. He was returned to me today. They called me at 8 am sharp while I was at Alford's. I then detoured to pick Leo up. My total was a bit higher than I thought it'd be in my head. They knew of my husband recently passing and that I had a stray I was trying to care for and a foster dog cremated there recently as well. They gave me Leo's fur in a nice bag. I didn't ask for that, just a plain cedar box. I was so surprised to see his collar, harness, and leash in a bag as well. I was told by the vet office that they wouldnt be allowed to take those for me when picking up Leo. I was going to engrave but I can't afford to right now so they said I can take my 3 in cedar boxes anytime when I am able to do that. They also donated a difference of the balance out of a fund they had. People donate to a fund there which I had no clue but I thought that was amazing. I spent the very last bit of my cash I had left on Leo. They also made a new updated certificate for all of my pups that had services through them. It is always very pleasant. If I hadn't been crying everyday since my husband left, I would've shed tears if I could. Happy ones for once. I am so thankful for such grace given.

Pets & Friends was the one shining light during this horrific time. I feel like they truly care and understand how hard it is to lose a pet. They were sympathetic and so respectful every step of the way. Always asking questions before doing anything to ensure you are comfortable with it, offering condolences, and even sent a card signed by the whole team. When they first called me about our Griffin cat, I was crying and apologized and they immediately said “do not apologize we completely understand” and that truly meant so much to me.One of the kindest things anyone has ever said to me was when Pet and Friends texted to let me know “Griffin is ready to come home”. I couldn’t make it until Friday and when I let them know, they said “we will keep him company”. I can’t imagine a more wonderful experience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Pets and Friends. ❤️

We take all our fur babies here. It's such a sad process but they are so welcoming. They make me feel so much better knowing that my babies are in good hands. They've done an amazing job everytime. This time they went out of their way. Our 8 yr old giant bunny recently passed away. We wanted a paw print , but it's hard to do because they don't have pads on their feet. They went above and beyond and made it happen! Got his little nose print with his teeth and everything. Put an adorable script on the clay print. Even engraved a bunny on his box. If you're looking for people that care this is the place. I will never go anywhere else.

I have never lost a dog of my own until this August. One of my shih tzus, Bella (12) tragically passed away suddenly from a bleeding disorder/cancer. When I went to make arrangements, my other dog, Diva(11), in tow, the staff said we could visit Bella. I was taken aback and unsure, but soooo glad we did. It is a service you hope you never have to use, but when the time comes I believe Pets & Friends did an excellent job of helping us through this tough time. Everything felt reasonably priced and they had a lot of options for urns as well as other objects such as having your pet's paw print made in clay. The staff was very understanding and even laid our cat in a bed so we could say goodbye one last time. The care and respect the staff showed made this experience a lot easier than it otherwise would have. I definitely recommend using them when the time comes to say goodbye to a lifelong friend.

The folks at this place are so very kind. We had to put our 18 year old dog to sleep recently (8/20/2023) and she was transported there by the veterinarian (Dr. Janell Pearson) who euthanized her. I received a call from them just a few hours after they received Peaches’ body to make the arrangements for her cremation. I could barely speak for crying but the lady I spoke to was so patient even though I had to ask her to repeat information more than once. There was never a rushed or annoyed tone to her voice which I sincerely appreciate. She referred to Peaches as my baby and they would let me know when she was ready to come back home. That meant so much to me. I was worried about getting her collar and tags but she assured me that I would get them back and I think they washed her collar. This is the first time I’ve had a pet cremated and I highly recommend using this business for that process.

Just 4 days after my unfortunate surgery I lost my beloved cat Maui, I thought I was going to lose my mind. But I spoke with Kathy at Pets and Friends and she offered the most comfort and compassion I could ever hope for. She answered all my questions and soothed my fractured heart. Everyone there was so kind and accommodating, completely understanding my grief. Maui was taken care of so gracefully and with respect. I will be forever grateful for their service, and for helping Maui cross the Rainbow Bridge.

On July 20,2022 I made the hardest decision of my life and thought it was best for my best friend to be euthanized. I am thoroughly impressed and delighted with the way my boy was returned to me. Even with some of his hair which I hadn't thought of prior to his departure. You can definitely tell that the staff here genuinely care about the way your loved ones are handled and I recommend anyone having to go through the same tumultuous ordeal to come to you guys. Thanks again and God bless all of you.

We lost our beloved Westie Winston a few weeks ago and I am just now able to write about it. It is no different than losing a human family member, it’s very painful. If I were too be honest it was harder than the last few family funerals I attended because Winston was a daily companion, he was loving, constant and steadfast. 14 years was truly not enough time with this wonderful and selfless little dog. As you can tell I loved my dog very much, my wife and grown kids equally felt the loss. We called Pets and Friends on a Sunday and they were closed, but offered to meet us so that we could leave “our baby” as they called him until his cremation the next day. We politely declined but made an appointment for the next day. When we arrived a very caring woman recognized our pain and was so sweet and kind to us. She gently Winston from my arms and presented him in an area for visitation. We said our goodbyes, I hugged my little dog as I called him one last time and gave permission to proceed. We went through the business of ordering an urn and they were compassionate throughout. It took about two hours and they allowed us too wait. They really understand pet owners and conduct themselves admirably. We even received a hand signed sympathy card from them a few days after. They are a wonderful service and I would recommend them to any pet owner who suffers a loss.

The atmosphere was weird and the customer service was way off. The employees had this blank look on their faces over and over with basic questions. This made me very uncomfortable given they were in possession of my dog and I really had no control over the situation.I asked about the cremation process because I was curious and the employees both times I came in the employees mentioned me asking "questions" in a weird way which came off quite negative like what I was asking was odd. I asked one question! The price of an urn was also different when picking up my remains and when I asked about this nobody knew what the price was they were just saying random prices. What I am about to say really takes the cake though ( no pun intended ). When i was picking up my remains the employee randomly asked if I "wanted a piece of cake" and I was extremely off put by this comment. Yeah I would love a piece of cake to celebrate my dead dog... Unbelievably stupid comment given my circumstances. I was so put off by this comment I just wanted to get the hell out of this place.I am satisfied with the cremation, but understand some people do not want cheesy certificates, urns, all this extra stuff and you should give customers a cheaper option if asked for it. I really just wanted my dogs remains in a bag and a paw print. PLEASE find someone with come charisma to handle customers!

This is an experience that nobody wishes to go through. Losing a member of the family , or in my case, my best friend. The staff was so patient with me and very understanding. Rest assured that they are treating your pet as their own.

When the unfortunate day comes, know you'll be taken care of.Our sweet old lady, Canyon, passed away after 11 amazing years of life. She was more than a pet, she was a member of our family. We didn't know what to expect during this process, but we were guided through with courtesy calls from Pets & Friends. The top level communication was not expected and did not go un-noticed. It helped put our mind at ease, knowing that they were moving along with a purpose to get our sweet old lady back home.Their experience shows, because we didn't think to ask for a imprint of her paw yet they did it without us asking. In a little knit bag, they gave us some of her hair and a snip of her bandana that she wore on her neck. These small things for us are amazing and very thoughtful for a family who is grieving and may not think of these small things that go the extra mile. I paid for their services, but I didn't expect any of this. Thank you Alondra, Ned, Misty, Katie, and Susan. God Bless you all.

Losing my 14 year old pitbull Max was one of the hardest things I've ever been through in my life and Pets and Friends has definitely helped with the healing process. They absolutely honored Max in such a beautiful way. I couldn't of asked for more. His ashes came in a lovely cedar box with his name carved into it. I also recieved a clipping of his fur. All of this came with a nice poem and a pendant that stayed with him through the entire cremation process. I feel very at peace with the memorial I have been presented for Max. I do believe they handled him with much respect. I am very grateful that Pets and Friends has allowed me to keep Max close by forever.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff that helped me. So much compassion and empathy were shown to me today. I wish I could remember the young ladies name that helped me, but I was a total mess after having to let my fur baby cross the rainbow bridge so unexpectedly. She is truly an angel 😇 and very much appreciated ❤️

The wonderful staff at Pets and Friends are very caring and helpful during a time of grief or (in my case) shock. My dog died very unexpectedly and I was having a hard time making decisions for her. I hope to never need their services again, but if I do, I can be sure they will continue to show compassion and understanding during a difficult time.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pets & Friends. They were thoughtful, caring, warm-hearted, and most of all patient when I needed a moment. I never felt pressured or rushed. I HIGHLY recommend them and will continue to. Thank you to Pets & Friends for taking care of my baby angel and my family during our difficult time.

10 of out 5 stars!!!! They got our fur baby back to us in just a few days and the box and clay paw prints are beautiful! We highly recommend this place to send your fur baby over the rainbow bridge! Everyone was very nice and thorough and got us taken care of quickly.

They are kind and compassionate and really seem to care and empathize. I have used them several times. Furbabies are family and they totally agree that they all go to heaven as I do. All innocents have souls and created and loved by our Heavenly Father. Recently I lost my Hershey, an older chocolate lab. I was devastated. They used a stretcher and picked her up at my home. The lady and gentleman were like angels on earth at a time when I really needed them. They also send the sweetest sympathy card with an animal who greatly resembles the baby you loved and lost. That means a lot. I have kept all of my cards through the years. Whenever possible, my pets are buried at home but if that isn't a good choice, cremation is a good alternative. I recommend Pets and Friends for many reasons.🌈🌟🐱🐶 God bless them!

On May 31st, 2022 my wife and I Had to make the hardest decision to have our fur baby Riley euthanized. Our clinic recommend Pets and friends and they went above and beyond our expectations. We had our Riley created in a private ceremony and made sure he was cremated in his favorite blanket. Unknown to us. The staff made sure to save a piece as a keep sake for us. This gesture brought both my wife and I to tears as we were not expecting this. I would personally like to thank all the staff for this and taking the time to property care for our boy!

We recently lost our Great Dane of 10 years and visited Pets & Friends. They were very comforting, professional, and respectful. We received our big boy in an urn along with a lock of his hair, footprint, and tag that followed him through the process, certificate honoring him, and a poem. The only extra item we ordered was his footprint and there were some many more options they offered. This place is wonderful and I felt very comfortable trusting them to take care of our lost family member. I will recommend them to everyone. No matter where we end up living, Pets & Friends will take care of our pets that come and go throughout our lives.

We had to let our baby go because of the extreme pain she was in. Our Family Vet in Bullard offered cremation services through Pets and Friends which we gladly accepted. I was a little anxious while waiting because I did not know what the fine details were (communal or private, etc.) or if I would ever know. When she came home yesterday, I was so touched by the beautiful box, the attention to detail, the extra things that came in her folder. These guys really took the time to do it right and I’m so appreciative. I couldn’t ask for more.

The staff here was incredible. The process was quick and easy, everyone was extremely sympathetic, the box with our baby in it was beautiful, and we really appreciated all the services that came with it. Received a letter in the mail a week later from them offering their condolences. They really put time and effort into helping their clients and it shows.

I lost my sweet doggie blazey and used Pets & Friends for her cremation. These people are angels in my eyes and heart. The most kindest caring people. I received her in a sweet wooden box with her name. They also added lock of her fur that brought tears to my eyes. I will cherish this forever. I only wished I could have used them to say my last goodbye to my baby. I know they would have made it much easier than my vet. I thank all of them with all my heart.

I normally don’t write reviews unless asked to. But this places needs this review I never in my entire life have experienced customer service like this they are hands down amazing folks and very responsive. I called them literally at 11:58pm and they answered the call within not even 3 rings I thought I was going to get a voice mail otherwise I wouldn’t have called. Phenomenal customer service and hands down makes the saddest experience (cremation and all that entails, they provide a lot of options you won’t get from a veterinarian’s office) smooth. I would highly recommend you take your pet here if the day comes. They are very caring about the process and professionalism is beyond measure. Truly thank you for making the saddest experience of my life easier on me I truthfully appreciate it.

Absolutely amazing people and company. I was devastated when my baby Alice died of leukemia. She was there through the literal worst years of my life and she was like my own child. So, when I had to make the decision to let her go to sleep, I was absolutely devastated. I had never been able to have a pet before her so it seemed so much harder for me since this was the biggest death in 10 years. They were so patient with me when I asked questions and referred to her as a baby the whole time. I felt respected and that my baby was also. She came back in a beautiful engraved wooden box. They even took all three colors of her fur into a small bag so that I could remember the wonderful colors she had. I will forever be greatful.

My sweet baby Lucky recently passed and I am so incredibly grateful that i found this place. They were so kind to me and my family in our time of grief, they treated my fur baby with dignity and respect. I am thankful that I was able to wait while my baby was cremated. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend for anyone to bring their beloved fur babies here. Thank you so much 🐾

I recently lost my baby girl very suddenly. The staff was extremely kind in helping me with my baby. Even allowing me to see her one more time, which meant a lot to me. All the staff was very kind and courteous. When I picked her up they took the time to go over everything and explain everything. They were so wonderful and I am forever grateful for the closure and peace of mind they helped provide me.

Generous and kind owner Kathy Beard helped us so much as we dealt with the sudden death of our newly adopted dog. She helped us understand how multiple stresses adversely affect dogs. Her care for animals is evident in every facet of their full service operation. We are blessed that she opened up her heart and business on the Labor Day holiday. Thank you Kathy for making a very difficult time easier! God bless you!

Something about this place is very calming. My visit was to pick out an urn and get clay and ink prints and at no point did I cry. It should have been a sad process and it was, but I felt calm the entire time. Staff is wonderful and their little pets are so loving.. Such a wonderful environment for what it is.

Pets & Friends is a wonderful place to turn when you lose a pet so special to your family. They are kind and professional and take you through the options and process with patience.

Picked up my puppy Shady and her memorial. She had passed away in Nacogdoches and was taken here. The staff were wonderfully kind and accommodating as I was out of the country at the time, they worked with my parents to get her finished and ready for me when I came home. Thank you all.

I can not say enough great things about pets and friends. I had gone through such a tramatic experience loosing my best friend of 15 years. My cat Banana had to be put to sleep and it was the hardest most challenging decision of my life. I had him since high school when he was only a kitten. Pets and friends along with Morton Small Animal Clinique made my experience so much more peaceful. Pets and friends went above and beyond what was expected. Because of them, I have no regrets about how my beloved family member was handled in this tagic time. I feel like he has been honored and laid to rest. When I got his remains from the hospital, they were delivered in a beautiful, tasteful, engraved box. I wasn't expecting all of the extra things they included with it. They gave me a lock of his hair, several poems that brought me to tears, and a few other extra items. I was also pleased with the paw print they gave me. It was well worth the $20 extra bc it is something I can treasure for a lifetime. It was so precious to me. What is making me write the review today is because of what just came in my mailbox. Today when I checked my mail, I found a sympathy card. The picture was of an orange and white cat. It reminded me of Banana. They didn't have to do this. They already had my business. But it just showed me that they cared. I know this is a long reveiw, but I am just so thankful for their kindness and encouragement during this tough time.

The utmost reverence & gratitude for the wonderful team/staff at Pets & Friends. We were graced with such understanding and heartfelt empathy in regards to our beloved Prometheus. For this, we are deeply appreciative.Notable mention; We live in Dallas & after calling dozens of places around DFW, we decided to search outside the metroplex. After speaking to Kathy, we knew this was the perfect place to bring our boy & I genuinely can't imagine having gone elsewhere.

I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff that helped me. So much compassion and empathy were shown to me today. I wish I could remember the young ladies name that helped me, but I was a total mess after having to let my fur baby cross the rainbow bridge so unexpectedly.
Melissa Flammia
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pets & Friends. They were thoughtful, caring, warm-hearted, and most of all patient when I needed a moment. I never felt pressured or rushed. 10 of out 5 stars!!!! They got our fur baby back to us in just a few days and the box and clay paw prints are beautiful! We highly recommend this place to send your fur baby over the rainbow bridge! Everyone was very nice and thorough and got us taken care of quickly.
Sunshine Cat

I lost my precious baby girl Sadie Ann to cancer on may 16th 2021, after multlple Surgeries and many visits to shreveport to the cancer specialist for chemo treatments, i have been so devastated im just now starting to speak about it, so let me just say after the horror of what i was going through with rude people elsewhere, pets & friends came to my rescue, they immediately went and picked up my baby from the vet before she was shipped off to this place i was misinformed about, and pets n friends called me within 30 to 45 minutes letting me know they had my baby girl there, i was amazed, and then the services they provided for my baby and my family was even more amazing, i will always remember and forever be grateful to them for making the saddest worst day of my life feel so special and cared for, they are so compassionate and caring and the energy and Environment is so calm and loving , they make you feel like its home..thank you so much Pets & Friends for everything that you done for us and for all that you do...you truly do make the memories of our fur babies special.. ❤ Shannon

Sonia Ruiz
