I’m giving them 3stars simply because they did refund our paw print we requested.When I first showed up a girl came from the house in pj pants, greasy hair looking like she just rolled out of bed. She did not look professional at all!Then I went inside and was handed the paper to fill out I was a bit distracted so I forgot she said only the circled parts on the form; the way she said it sounding annoyed, I’m sorry I was having a hard time of it, just rubbed me the wrong way.They did have a quicker turn around than what we were told so that was nice.The paw print we received though wasn’t a paw print at all, you couldn’t make anything out of it.I would suggest you do it yourself before brining your pet (ours was a cat) to be cremated.Thank goodness I stamped our little guys foot before we brought him or my daughter would have nothing but his ashes.But they did make it right in offering me a full refund for the “paw print” without having to argue.Also $170 for a 10lb. Cat is excessive, we’d pay it regardless but since they’re the only ones here that do it. It is what it is. We’ve paid $75 for our animals in the past last one a few years ago and they were larger dogs, Js.

I am so disappointed beyond words. My dog had to be put to sleep last week and I received her ashes yesterday. Prior to being put to sleep, I had to complete a form (with the Pets at Peace letterhead- not a form from my vet) making my selections of what services I wanted. I very clearly and boldly circled the option for a paw print. When I received her ashes yesterday, it was not in the bag, so I called them in hopes it had been forgotten and I could pick it up at a later time. After speaking with a girl (didn't get a name) I was transferred to a man who said it was not communicated to them that the paw print option was selected and that typically people have to call them to request it. After confirming that it in fact wasn't taken prior to her cremation, I hung up as I couldn't speak through tears. So, future clients, please be aware that if you want a paw print or any "special" service you will have to CALL and request it.There was no recourse offered- what can be done to correct such a mistake anyway? I do not care about the money that I paid for the service- I am, however, devastated that having the final physical piece of her was stolen from us.

They've gone above and beyond with taking care of all of my babies when I've needed them. We've used their services since 2018 for all of our pets and they've never disappointed. I don't recommend anyone else for the services they provide.

I have used Pets at Peace through my vet many times. My most recent pet passed beautifully at home. I called the next morning after her passing and Joe, the owner, answered with the most sincere and comforting voice and told me I could bring my kitty’s body by that morning. The facility and professionalism was so incredibly comforting - resident dogs and cats on the premises even greeted me when I arrived - a sign to me that the energy of this place is exceptional. I had my sweet girl’s cremains back within a day. I highly recommend Pets at Peace! They do a remarkable job and are so considerate and kind during a pet owner’s most difficult time. Thank you, Joe and family, for everything!

Our veterinarian handled the drop off and pick up of our puppy. I really didn't know what to expect as I have never cremated a pet before ( our family tradition was to bury lost pets under a rhododendron, but there aren't any where I live now). I kind of expected to get her back in a bag, but she was given back in a lovely box, with a candle, a certificate, a condolence letter, and beautiful story about the rainbow bridge. I'm pleased with their service, and glad to have her back in my home, as much as I wish she was still alive.

Well besides the fact they dropped it off at the wrong house and said "I left you dog at the door" and she is a ferret it was alright. I wish I was able to pick what kind of box they put her in, and wish I was able to list the date of birth to the day we lost her. The business will come and unburies your pet for you, and or pick up your pet. We paid $115.00 to get our little girl cremated she was worth the money to me. Altogether they should get to know each situation a little better and have more options other than that BASICALLY GOOD.

Really used to believe in this place and what it does but after paying $140 to cremate a 1 day old puppy with no urn or any extras is ridiculous.... and that was discounted.Edit: they refunded a big part of it. Which was very appreciated.

Thank You! for your compassion during this difficult time. Prior to losing our beloved fur child Marley, we had previously discussed with Joann (receptionist at Eighth Street Animal Clinic) if she could recommend a local business which does cremation, we were referred to Pets at Peace. They picked Marley up from veterinarian’s office and returned Marley’s ashes to us yesterday. I was very satisfied as pleased with the beautiful mahogany wood box Marley’s ashes came in. We were very appreciative for the candle, The Rainbow Bridge poem and Certificate of Cremation.I had a moment with Marley once inside my vehicle, as I went through everything that was given to me. This has helped our healing process more than I could imagine. I’m happy we were able to bring our Marley home.Again, Thank You For What You Do!

The owner is very rough around the edges, has really poor “bedside” manner, but they’re apparently the only place that does it in the area. Ultimately, when he dropped our dog off this morning, they had her in a box inside of a really nice gift bag with a cremation certificate (which looks really unprofessional), a candle, a pamphlet on coping with loss, and the rainbow bridge poem, and it just felt very special. I was a little disappointed because the services pamphlet suggested you could choose your own custom urn, but we weren’t given a choice. He dropped her off on the front porch in a wooden box. If you can get past how rude the guy is, I think it’s worth it. We paid $190 for our 80-90 pound lab.

Who answers the phone ? It’s a business not a residence with just “hello” ...Needs some direction how to appropriately talk to someone who just lost an animal. If ur annoyed with the phone have ur services and prices listed. Do you want business or not ? Guess you chose not I will be taking my animal and money somewhere else...

Never have I ever been spoken to as unprofessional as this man did to me. Is fixing it for us, but tried to repeatedly blame my mothe for his hearing issues.... cut me off several times and told me to let it go!
