So thankful. 🥹Duke ate some miracle grow potting soil from one of my indoor plants pots and was vomiting + shaking definitely not acting himself. They got me in ASAP and took great care of him! Ethan my vet tech was great as well!Front desk was awesome and personable as well!!They recommended fluids for hydration + some tummy meds to calm his stomach.Love that they didn’t try to do all the extras that may have not been necessary.Thank you Cornerstone!! 🫶🏻🩷

My sweet little Opal had such a great first vet visit at Cornerstone! The staff is so nice and helpful. She was having some tummy issues and they worked with me to reschedule her appointment sooner and answered all the questions I had. I highly recommend Cornerstone!

Everyone was so welcoming. The vet and techs were very informative and made sure i knew of everything needed to be done. There was no pressure from them to make any rash decisions. Every procedure has been reasonably priced and have found out that we had saved a lot here compared to other places. Thank you all!

Cornerstone saved our dog Entei's life ❤️ Their team and expertise saved him. Entei has had a rough couple of years, and we would do anything to make his life better. Cornerstone brought back hope into our spirits from the first day we brought Entei there. He has had two surgeries with them, and multiple office visits. The staff are kind, understanding, compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and you can tell everyone loves what they do. Entei loves going the vet to see his friends (especially Aaron)!! Entei gets better with each visit at Cornerstone. I'm SO grateful we found them, and wish we had found them sooner. They have also seen our other fur-son Koji ( a husky who isn't exactly a people person) and they have managed to win him over. Thank you Cornerstone from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful care your team has given our boys. Entei, Koji and the Villa family love yall very much. ❤️

What a great staff! We had an emergency with our pup Gunner. Our former vet could not see us. We called Cornerstone and they told us to bring him in and they would see him right away. They were so caring and kind to us and our boy. After they fixed him up and sent us home they followed up with us over the next 2 days and even had us bring him back in for a checkup at no charge. They have earned a customer for life. I highly recommend!

I have been taking my house pets to Cornerstone Animal Hospital for many years. Today one went in for an annual check-up and vaccines. He is on Hills special food for a condition he has and been on the food for years. I paid for the food went to my car and realized I had been charged for a product I had not purchased. I immediately went back in to the clinic and let the desk know of the over charge and asked for a credit. I was informed that the Doctor who could issue the credit is out of the country and he is the only one who can issue the credit. I was shocked that the employees are not empowered to issue a $29.50 credit for an over charge that was their mistake. I also have have horses that are taken care of by a large animal vet that has just started caring for small animals. Other family members are more than welcome to continue to take their animals to Cornerstone, but my animal will no longer be going to Corner Stone.

I just took in my son's Australian cattle dog for a worsening limp she has had for two months. The delay was because she is high strung, very strong, and prone to biting. I wish I had found this hospital earlier because they were incredibly good at dealing with her. The staff could not have been gentler, making the process so easy. If you have a challenging animal, you can’t do better than this team.

We recently took our Australian Shepherd/Lab mix to Cornerstone with ataxia of his back legs that had come on suddenly. I took him in immediately and was told by the vet here that he believed my dog was high, not injured. He said he looked like he had gotten into “pot” and that he sees it all the time. I was so confused, and desperately tried to rack my brain for anything he could’ve gotten into (I also have another dog at home. They both stay indoors when I’m gone and all doors to bedrooms where we keep medications closed). I assured the vet that I did not have any drugs in the house that would have caused his symptoms, but he insisted that this is what he thought was wrong. He suggested that he run a blood test and give fluids, to which I agreed. The blood test he ran was a CBC and BMP. Neither of these tests would tell us if he had gotten into drugs as he had insinuated. Those two tests were normal, and he sent us on our way with a list of local ER facilities in case my dog declined rapidly due to poisoning. I kept insisting that I believed his issue was a back injury, which he finally acknowledged could be a possibility, although he found it unlikely. He said he could send me home with “pain meds”, which I declined (he did not mention what medication it would be, and had I known it was an anti-inflammatory, I would’ve agreed). I walked out of the office with a 400$ bill and no answers. A simple call and virtual examination of my dog from another veterinarian confirmed a diagnosis of IVDD, which needed immediate treatment. I later called the office manager to discuss the insulting encounter I had at her facility. She assured me that she would speak with the veterinarian and give me a call back. It has now been months with no call. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANY SORT OF COMPETENT CARE.

Though the care at cornerstone is exceptional. I was dishearten when I learned they where not at as clear as they should be when going over what the wellness dental plan they offer ( and marketed to be) before I signed up for the plan. Having to come up with a surprise amount of money day of dental dog dental cleaning when I pay for the dental wellness plan monthly to avoid unexpected expenses when it comes to my dogs health made me feel like the business side of cornerstone can't be fully trusted, even if skills of those employed can.

We had only been with this clinic for almost 2 months. My dog had been having seizures and it was to the point where we had to make the hardest decision. The staff, techs (especially Ethan) and doctor (Dr. Fine) were nothing but compassionate and caring. They made sure our boy was comfortable and gave us all the time we needed before leaving him. I would 100% recommend this clinic.

This is Heide Briggs & Matthew Nyoka. We are so impressed with the service we received from the staff and the Veterinary. We had our 21 year old Lacy with us for many years. She left us in Mai, and we miss her so much. Now we adopted a 3-4 year old Maltibas, Maltese and Basset hound mix. We call her Macy. She was a street doggy and a rehabilitator trained her for several month and get her used to people. We adopted her a few days ago, and she is the sweetest🐶 dog. We love her and she loves us, especially papa that feeds her early in the morning.Now we will be coming to Cornerstone Animal Hospital again.We are looking forward to it, and introducing Macy to all the beautiful staff. -Heide(Heather) :-)

Just adopted a cat a little over a week go. When we got him he was kinda congested and his eyes irritated. We took him to a different vet and found out he had FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). The other vet Dr was nice but didn't seem to be concerned and only gave us some eye drops. We left with a $300 vet bill. Well those eye drops made it so much worse. So we decided to come to cornerstone hoping for a real solution. The vet that helped us was so informative. Gave us alot of really great information on diet for FIV and prescribed antibiotics. Which was exactly what our cat needs. He's been doing better we have a follow up in a week to make sure he's good. Going forward this will be the only vet we use. The nice front desk lady even gave us a coupon! Saved us $40 so we only spent $100! Should have skipped all the steps and came straight to cornerstone!

Our friend referred us to this vet after months of watching our pet ferret suffer and our regular vet not doing anything helpful. He’d already endured blood draws, unrelated treatments, waiting weeks for lab results, very little communication and less empathy, and was getting worse by the day.I called cornerstone and they were able to see us the next day. The Vet took one look at our ferret and was able to identify what was wrong with just the physical exam and set us up with an appointment two days later for a simple implant procedure. We’d also already paid close to $700 at our previous vet without even addressing the right issue and at Cornerstone we paid a little over $300 for EVERYTHING. That also includes the vaccines that he was due for.Ferret adrenal issues are one of the most common issues that ferrets have and I was certain that that’s what we were dealing with. Our previous regular vet ignored my suggestions and seemed annoyed. Nobody would get back to me about lab results even though it had been weeks. Every employee at Cornerstone listened to my thoughts and worries and was beyond helpful.It took a few weeks for the implant to balance everything out, but John Cena the ferret is back to being able to walk correctly, play, eat properly, and has a full body of hair. He’s back to being his happy, healthy self. All of our pets will be switching over immediately. I’m so grateful to Cornerstone and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Veterinarian. They’re the best!

My son Bono and I have been through it the past couple years battling a cancer diagnosis. His primary vet was just prescribing him medication with out even taking a blood test which inevitably made him much much worse. We went about 5 differant vets, Looking for more opinions and answers I stumbled across Cornerstone and what a blessing it was. They immediately, Aaron to be exact to tremendous care and commitment to solving Bono medical problems. He went above and beyond customer service expectations to get us the help we needed. Unfortunately we had to amputate he's leg . Dr Reeves did an exceptional job with his surgery and is a very knowledgeable and skilled veterinarian. Each and every staff member we delt with was amazing . both bono and I were treated with tender love and care . I am so grateful I came across Cornerstone. They truly CARE about their clients and ooze phenomenal customer service! My only frustration was the pricing. I would be told one thing in the room and then got to the desk with to revil different price . But they are more then willing to work with you on everything which is why they have completly won us over ! Other then that 10 stars 🌟 🤩 Our new Vet home. Thank your Cornerstone staff for doing an exceptional job

Cornerstone Animal Hospital Vets, Techs & staff are very compassionate, friendly and professional.They helped us with the most difficult decision with our 9 year old boxer boy …cross the Rainbow Bridge last fall & they were so supportive.When we were ready for new fur babies- we’ve had to come in a few times for allergy issues & they are very informative. Giving you their best diagnosis and also offering up other alternatives to give you a choice on what you want/feel is best for your pet.Since our dogs aren’t big fans of car rides - we take advantage of visits and get their nails trimmed too for a very reasonable rate.Our family highly recommends Cornerstone to friends and family when looking for a veterinarian.

We have taken both our Schnoodle and Siberian Cat here and have always been extremely happy with the treatment and compassion shown to our fur babies. We also use the grooming services. Previously we attended a much more expensive veterinary office where we never knew who we would see. We appreciate the more personal care at Cornerstone and the pricing is fair and reasonable. I took my new kitten to Cornerstone Animal Hospital to begin her first vaccinations. I liked the affordability of their Kitten Wellness Plan. It included all office visits, vaccinations, and spay/neuter for a set monthly price. Dr. Thomas and his staff have been so nice! She has now completed all her vaccines and spaying. She is doing great and I really appreciate the care she was given by Dr. Thomas and Cornerstone staff.

Our Long haired Calico cat is not a fan of getting brushed and nails clipped by me. She reluctantly allows me to brush only her back and clip her front nails. So about 4 years ago we looked into getting her professionally groomed including a lion cut. Our vet, who doesn’t offer grooming, recommended medicating her with gabapentin the day before and morning of grooming appt. The first year we took her to a cat only grooming business in Hurst. She came home very traumatized. She hid and wouldn’t eat or drink for almost 2 days. It was almost a week before she returned to her normal self. The next year, after more research reading lots of reviews, we decided to take her to Cornerstone Animal Hospital. We have been taking her here for the last 3 years and have been very happy with the service and experience. She always comes home happy and full of energy.

Our 9 month puppy needed to see his vet and the vet was in the hospital so we took him to Cornerstone and the vet took the time to answer all our concerns and questions. From allergies to behaviors. The front desk was friendly and Tucker was passed around in the back. The front desk was very helpful on scheduling a boarding date for December while my husband has surgery at a great price. They even said they hope my husband is okay. I highly recommend Cornerstone and will write another review on Tuckers boarding experience.

I had a great experience with Cornerstone Animal Hospital when my kitten, Lucy, had surgery. The staff were incredibly kind and caring, and they went above and beyond to make sure that both Lucy and I were comfortable throughout the entire process. They were very attentive to Lucy's needs and provided excellent post-operative care. I was also impressed by how well they communicated with me and kept me informed about everything that was happening. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about Cornerstone Animal Hospital and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of veterinary care for their furry loved ones.

From my initial phone inquiry to the onsite visit, the entire process was not only friendly, transparent but also incredibly comforting.The check-in process was speedy and efficient, which immediately put me at ease. I was worried that my cat might have asthma, but after Dr. Thomas examined her, he reassured me that it was just a respiratory infection. I greatly appreciated his honesty and professionalism, especially since he didn't push for unnecessary procedures like an x-ray.I also want to give a big shout-out to Ethan, the wonderful technician. He was extremely kind, eased my concerns, and patiently answered all of my questions. I came in after my dog, Sam, wasn't eating and wasn't being himself. They were able to see me ASAP and were just amazing the entire time. It was confirmed that he had a blockage and they got him into surgery the next day. Every interaction with all of the staff has been just the best!

Last week my 13 yr old dachshund woke up in pain and I scrambled to find a new vet as our vet for the previous 10 yrs had suddenly retired due to health issues. After seeing multiple specialists, Cornerstone was the most straight forward, honest and financially viable solution for my 9 yr old morkie's hernia surgery. The staff (including front desk and Dr. Matthew Thomas himself), have always been very friendly and truly care about how my dog is doing. They set clear expectations from the beginning and answered all of our questions about the procedure, potential challenges, recovery time, etc. We were rushing when we could get in and get the surgery done, and he worked with us to schedule it and even call in a specialist (due to the nature of the surgery). They followed up with us afterwards multiple times to check on our dog, and were available to answer our questions when we called in randomly with concerns due to our ignorance of the healing process.The hospital is always very clean (lobby, exam rooms and hallway). We use their grooming service after our dog was fully recovered (as he was matted from the cone 24/7 for multiple weeks). They did a fantastic job too! He had never been professionally groomed before, and he came out happy, wagging his tail! (This is a huge improvement over how he reacted with our former vet) We will be lifetime customers for our fur-babies!

From check in to check out, the process was great. I did not have to wait long and they were so great with my puppy. They did not try to do any extra charges, I even asked for certain things and they discussed with me the reason it was not needed and what to look for instead of costing me any extra money. They answered all my questions and I did not feel rushed. I highly recommend this vet.

I took my Athena in for a check she wasn’t feeling good, luckily they caught the “comma” stomach twist before it was severe and needed surgery, they let me see the X-rays to understand, took amazing notes, treated my pitty like any other kid, she’s a very hyper pit but the most lovable. Beyond thankful this place didn’t discriminate her like others have. Thank you corner stone! Athena is doing so much better:)

This is going to be my "go to" place for all my pets. I cannot say enough about Dr. Thomas, Nurse Jessica, Kayla, and the entire staff at Cornerstone Animal for the good care they provided. We have taken our dogs to several vets and none of them are even comparable from beginning to end. When our dog Domi (black Pekingese) had an emergency that requires immediate surgery, we called 8 other locations that was highly recommended on the list. Instead of being helpful, they stressed us out even more. So, when we called Cornerstone Animal Hospital, Kayla was VERY helpful and had a great sense of urgency. Domi's was scheduled for surgery the next morning. Jessica (the awesome nurse!) called us before surgery and after surgery to let us know every detail we need to know. Dr. Thomas, you can tell he was meant to do this. He's VERY humble and cares about the over wellbeing of your pet. You just have great vibes when you meet him. The hospital is clean and welcoming. Our dog left there after major surgery and smells clean and fresh. My grumpy husband doesn't mind going to this hospital...and trust me...he always complains :-). I highly recommend this hospital as a place to take your loving pets. THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD AT A VETERINARIAN!

We needed a vet for our little sick dog but all the ones we called were closed on Saturday. A few were open but were full or closed early. Then we called Cornerstone Animal Hospital. They were not only open but encouraged us to bring in our little dog. They gave him many tests and we came back several hours later to find our little dog ready to go home with medications and instructions. He is now back to his normal self and we so appreciate these vets and folks at Cornerstone for helping us out on a Saturday.

Cornerstone Animal Hospital Vets, Techs & staff are very compassionate, friendly and professional.They helped us with the most difficult decision with our 9 year old boxer boy …cross the Rainbow Bridge last fall & they were so supportive.When we were ready for new fur babies- we’ve had to come in a few times for allergy issues & they are very informative. Giving you their best diagnosis and also offering up other alternatives to give you a choice on what you want/feel is best for your pet.Since our dogs aren’t big fans of car rides - we take advantage of visits and get their nails trimmed too for a very reasonable rate.Our family highly recommends Cornerstone to friends and family when looking for a veterinarian.

We have taken both our Schnoodle and Siberian Cat here and have always been extremely happy with the treatment and compassion shown to our fur babies. We also use the grooming services. Previously we attended a much more expensive veterinary office where we never knew who we would see. We appreciate the more personal care at Cornerstone and the pricing is fair and reasonable. I took my new kitten to Cornerstone Animal Hospital to begin her first vaccinations. I liked the affordability of their Kitten Wellness Plan. It included all office visits, vaccinations, and spay/neuter for a set monthly price. Dr. Thomas and his staff have been so nice! She has now completed all her vaccines and spaying. Our Long haired Calico cat is not a fan of getting brushed and nails clipped by me. She reluctantly allows me to brush only her back and clip her front nails. So about 4 years ago we looked into getting her professionally groomed including a lion cut. Our vet, who doesn’t offer grooming, recommended medicating her with gabapentin the day before and morning of grooming appt. The first year we took her to a cat only grooming business in Hurst. She came home very traumatized. She hid and wouldn’t eat or drink for almost 2 days. It was almost a week before she returned to her normal self. The next year, after more research reading lots of reviews, we decided to take her to Cornerstone Animal Hospital. We have been taking her here for the last 3 years and have been very happy with the service and experience. She always comes home happy and full of energy.

Our 9 month puppy needed to see his vet and the vet was in the hospital so we took him to Cornerstone and the vet took the time to answer all our concerns and questions. From allergies to behaviors. The front desk was friendly and Tucker was passed around in the back. The front desk was very helpful on scheduling a boarding date for December while my husband has surgery at a great price. They even said they hope my husband is okay. I highly recommend Cornerstone and will write another review on Tuckers boarding experience.

I had a great experience with Cornerstone Animal Hospital when my kitten, Lucy, had surgery. The staff were incredibly kind and caring, and they went above and beyond to make sure that both Lucy and I were comfortable throughout the entire process. They were very attentive to Lucy's needs and provided excellent post-operative care. I was also impressed by how well they communicated with me and kept me informed about everything that was happening. From my initial phone inquiry to the onsite visit, the entire process was not only friendly, transparent but also incredibly comforting.The check-in process was speedy and efficient, which immediately put me at ease. I was worried that my cat might have asthma, but after Dr. Thomas examined her, he reassured me that it was just a respiratory infection. Updated 12/27/2023We have continued using cornerstone for all of our family pets and I just want to say that I have never encountered another veterinarian that cares for our babies the way that cornerstone does. Truly, every single person here is amazing. They will treat your babies like their own. I don’t even have words for how grateful me and my family are for them! Dr Fine is incredible and Dr Thomas is as well. We love all the vet techs but would like to especially shout out Storme who is always there with a smile on her face and showing so much love to our babies. The front desk staff is so kind and compassionate. If you are looking for a vet clinic that truly has your pets best interest in mind, come to cornerstone! You won’t regret it. ❤️I have used this vet for all my dogs and cat as well as getting my family members to use them as well! They’re always so sweet and professional but have a way of making you feel at home! We appreciate them so much and they’re super affordable. Highly recommend!

Ahh, where to begin. I had been meaning to leave a great review for this wonderful vet office, but have been putting it off due to the reason I visited (it still hurts and stings some). My 19 year old cat had stopped eating on me, and after about a week or so of playing with her food to strike her interest in it again, I was unsuccessful and knew it was time to take her in. Cornerstone was not her usual vet, as my cat and I had moved here from Houston about 2.5 years ago, and just never got a new one. But I would have loved for this place to have been her forever vet just based off the first interactions and visit. Their website is user friendly to try and schedule your own appointment after hours, which is what I ended up doing because she progressively got worse on me over the course of one evening. Front desk was very nice, and the vet and vet tech were amazing and compassionate. After examination, the vet came back in and explained to me my options. I couldn’t justify spending loads of money for testing and then potential fixing/aftercare if even possible, being that she was already 19, so I opted for euthanasia. The vet (I’m sorry, I don’t remember her name) didn’t argue with me, or make me feel bad in any way about my decision, as I have read reviews from other offices where some of them try and talk you out of it and get you to do more testing. I want to give a huge shoutout to Storme, who was the vet tech assisting that day. She was so kind hearted and compassionate towards the situation, and even offered me a hug, as I was sobbing. No one wants to put their babies down. My cat was my baby and will always be my baby. Cornerstone made an awful day just a bit better and I am grateful for them. Cremation services were amazing. I got my cat’s ashes back within a week and a half, and they also shaved a chunk of her hair and put it in a card for me, along with her paw print on a little plate. Cornerstone even took it a step further and sent me a card in the mail sending their condolences, and everyone hand wrote in it. Cornerstone has amazing staff, and I am grateful for them! And I will also refer them to anyone looking for a vet. Thank you guys so much!

Came in for the first time for a routine exam. I didn't like how they took my dog to the back for the exam. Usually vets will check their temp, ears, eyes, ETC. in front of you. Seems a bit silly to have an exam room at that point.The ladies at the front were very nice, but I think ill try a new place. I would have preferred seeing my dog getting checked out in front of me.

To go off of the recent review about the Aussie and broken leg, the vet externally straightened the leg and then told us it would “heal just fine” and to leave it alone. LOL. We got 2 other vet opinions and showed them the X-rays and they were appalled and said that Dr Thomas is insane if he thought that leg would heal like that. And sure, my dog “jumped on his own” out the kennel. But who in their right mind would put a dog with a broken leg in a kennel 5 feet above the ground and then be completely careless when having the kennel door open. He is a small dog and the easiest to control. The vet tech that let this happen was absolutely careless. So disgusted with the way this vet cares for his animals. He showed no remorse or emotion for my dog. Now if we want to save his leg the new vet will have to use a bigger plate and screws and his small and fragile bones might not even take it due to this vets negligence. (Xray posted to show how the vet was gonna leave the leg).Also, after he did the first surgery and put the splint on my dog, he ended up with a wound in his armpit due to the vet using a splint that was too long and it rubbed into my dogs armpit. The wrapping covered it all the way up so we did not notice anything until the blood started coming through. After we took him in, the vet blamed us and said we should have been monitoring his arm -which we were as best we could. How am I supposed to see a wound forming if it’s under the dressing??? Then, surprise surprise we got charged for more medications and wound care because he doesn’t know how to splint and wrap a leg correctly.I had another bad experience with this vet a few years back but decided to give them another chance. He neutered my big Newfie and left the extra skin on EVEN THOUGH he said it is common for large dogs to accumulate fluid and get infected. Why leave the skin to begin with then??? The he proceeds to tell me my dog is aggressive and needs special training because my dog didn’t want him touching his surgery site. Wow excuse my dog for being in pain and not wanting to be touched. He has never bit a human in his entire existence. It’s almost like he creates complications to make more money. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you care about your pet and want fair payment.

Our Labrador was treated on multiple occasions by the veterinarian and he never seemed confident in his diagnoses. He also referred us to another veterinarian who treated allergies the dog had. Lots of money was spent, but the dog never got much better. Some of the staff is quite rude and once when I went in the exam room was not cleaned even though we were told to enter. (Feces on the floor) Please, if you care about your pet, choose a better veterinary office. BTW, the review is genuine.

EDIT: IN RESPONSE TO THE BUSINESS’ RESPONSE, YOU ARE GLOSSING OVER THE FACT THAT YOUR STAFFS NEGLIGENCE ALLOWED MY DOG TO FALL ON AN ALREADY BROKEN LEG THAT HAD UNDER GONE SURGERY AND BENT IT 90*. I HAVE THE X RAY BUT DID NOT WANT TO POST HERE AS ITS HARD TO LOOK AT. THE LEG NOW MAY NOT ACCEPT A LARGER PLATE OR SCREWS AND IVE HAD TWO OTHER OFFICES ALREADY INCLUDING AN ORTHO AND THEY BOTH CANNOT BELIEVE YOU SENT THE DOG OUT AND TOLD US ITLL HEAL STRAIGHT EVEN THOUGH HIS BONES ARE NOW MANGLED. OF COURSE I DONT FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR STAFFING CARING FOR MY DOG. I hope everyone sees their reply and can genuinely tell how they truly could care less about your dog. He’s worried about the image and money first. I tried to pursue other avenues and they’re all exponentially worse now than they were before your staff allowed my dog to fall with a broken arm and fresh surgery.Now there’s scar tissue at the end of the bones that would never have healed properly and you were going to leave my dog in this condition to live with for the rest of his life.Screw this office.Cornerstone has been my wife's regular vet for a long time. Our 19 lb Aussie Shepard broke his front leg and we brought him here naturally. Things seemed to be handled well, they performed a surgery, x rays looked great. Once a week we were to return to have the leg unwrapped, the incision checked and cleaned, and the splint rewrapped.At the second visit for some reason my dog was put in a kennel high off the ground and when they went to get him out he was able to jump over the technicians shoulder and land on the ground bending his plate and arm at a 90* angle. Remi is not frantic usually so the fact that he jumped over the tech concerns me. He was scared.Second they straightened his leg externally and redid x rays. Told us to leave it and it would still heal straight and the bone would still be okay.Appalled we left and went home, only to find his leg slowly bending and him in pain.I've called and asked for help. They refunded our money and said we are on our own.There's a good chance my boys bones are now so damaged they cannot be fixed or it's going to be much more intensive to repair.And the Dr decided to wash his hands of the situation.Very sad.Not to mention the complications I'm hearing have happened even during routine surgeries with my wife's dogs before we were together, like fixing a big male dog you remove the excess skin so it doesn't fill with fluid and get infected. He chose to leave it and it got infected and costed her more money. And there's other examples too over the last few years.Steer clear.Please

Cornerstone animal hospital has taken such good care of her and always manages to fit her in even if it's a last minute emergency. The doctors and techs are all super loving with my dog and seem to treat her as if she was theirs.

We have been a long time, customer, primarily for grooming services, and we have been treated so well by Tony and team. But I’m sad to report that today was probably one of the worst customer experiences we have had. They tried to upsell a Bordetella shot, and when I told them that they already had it, They asked for the veterinarian to verify. That is good due diligence. In my opinion.. But when my wife went to pick up our dog, they gave it to our dog anyway and charged us for it. Getting two of those shots so close together is never good for a dog, and then the way they handled it so defensively and disrespectfully with my wife, this will be our last time visiting CornerStone. They were determined to be right, and the welfare of our dog was never even discussed.

Fantastic staff. Seriously. I don’t give 5’s often but they deserve it. On the phone or in person they were top notch. All of them (talked to maybe 5 people). We were there for boarding and grooming. They are one of only two places in the area willing to give our dog her insulin shots.

Very friendly and informative. Our dog has hated every single vet she’s ever been to — have you ever seen a 60lb dog force her way under the passenger seat of a car in order to hide? — I was very impressed with Cornerstone keeping Nova’s file and remembering her after her first visit so they could work with us to find a solution that worked for her second visit. Felt like they treated her as a long term standing client, which I haven’t experienced from other clinics.

My calico Arya was sick and not feeling well. I took her here for the first time and had an excellent experience. She was diagnosed quickly with a fever and after some treatment we were on our way. Updated 12/27/2023We have continued using cornerstone for all of our family pets and I just want to say that I have never encountered another veterinarian that cares for our babies the way that cornerstone does. Truly, every single person here is amazing. They will treat your babies like their own. I don’t even have words for how grateful me and my family are for them! Dr Fine is incredible and Dr Thomas is as well. We love all the vet techs but would like to especially shout out Storme who is always there with a smile on her face and showing so much love to our babies. The front desk staff is so kind and compassionate. If you are looking for a vet clinic that truly has your pets best interest in mind, come to cornerstone! You won’t regret it. ❤️I have used this vet for all my dogs and cat as well as getting my family members to use them as well! Ahh, where to begin. I had been meaning to leave a great review for this wonderful vet office, but have been putting it off due to the reason I visited (it still hurts and stings some). My 19 year old cat had stopped eating on me, and after about a week or so of playing with her food to strike her interest in it again, I was unsuccessful and knew it was time to take her in. Cornerstone was not her usual vet, as my cat and I had moved here from Houston about 2.5 years ago, and just never got a new one. But I would have loved for this place to have been her forever vet just based off the first interactions and visit. Their website is user friendly to try and schedule your own appointment after hours, which is what I ended up doing because she progressively got worse on me over the course of one evening. Front desk was very nice, and the vet and vet tech were amazing and compassionate. After examination, the vet came back in and explained to me my options. I couldn’t justify spending loads of money for testing and then potential fixing/aftercare if even possible, being that she was already 19, so I opted for euthanasia. The vet (I’m sorry, I don’t remember her name) didn’t argue with me, or make me feel bad in any way about my decision, as I have read reviews from other offices where some of them try and talk you out of it and get you to do more testing. I want to give a huge shoutout to Storme, who was the vet tech assisting that day. She was so kind hearted and compassionate towards the situation, and even offered me a hug, as I was sobbing. No one wants to put their babies down. My cat was my baby and will always be my baby. Cornerstone made an awful day just a bit better and I am grateful for them. Cremation services were amazing. I got my cat’s ashes back within a week and a half, and they also shaved a chunk of her hair and put it in a card for me, along with her paw print on a little plate. Cornerstone even took it a step further and sent me a card in the mail sending their condolences, and everyone hand wrote in it. Cornerstone has amazing staff, and I am grateful for them! And I will also refer them to anyone looking for a vet. Thank you guys so much!

Came in for the first time for a routine exam. I didn't like how they took my dog to the back for the exam. Usually vets will check their temp, ears, eyes, ETC. in front of you. Seems a bit silly to have an exam room at that point.The ladies at the front were very nice, but I think ill try a new place. I would have preferred seeing my dog getting checked out in front of me.

To go off of the recent review about the Aussie and broken leg, the vet externally straightened the leg and then told us it would “heal just fine” and to leave it alone. LOL. We got 2 other vet opinions and showed them the X-rays and they were appalled and said that Dr Thomas is insane if he thought that leg would heal like that. And sure, my dog “jumped on his own” out the kennel. But who in their right mind would put a dog with a broken leg in a kennel 5 feet above the ground and then be completely careless when having the kennel door open. He is a small dog and the easiest to control. The vet tech that let this happen was absolutely careless. So disgusted with the way this vet cares for his animals. He showed no remorse or emotion for my dog. Now if we want to save his leg the new vet will have to use a bigger plate and screws and his small and fragile bones might not even take it due to this vets negligence. (Xray posted to show how the vet was gonna leave the leg).Also, after he did the first surgery and put the splint on my dog, he ended up with a wound in his armpit due to the vet using a splint that was too long and it rubbed into my dogs armpit. The wrapping covered it all the way up so we did not notice anything until the blood started coming through. After we took him in, the vet blamed us and said we should have been monitoring his arm -which we were as best we could. How am I supposed to see a wound forming if it’s under the dressing??? Then, surprise surprise we got charged for more medications and wound care because he doesn’t know how to splint and wrap a leg correctly.I had another bad experience with this vet a few years back but decided to give them another chance. He neutered my big Newfie and left the extra skin on EVEN THOUGH he said it is common for large dogs to accumulate fluid and get infected. Why leave the skin to begin with then??? The he proceeds to tell me my dog is aggressive and needs special training because my dog didn’t want him touching his surgery site. Wow excuse my dog for being in pain and not wanting to be touched. He has never bit a human in his entire existence. It’s almost like he creates complications to make more money. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else if you care about your pet and want fair payment.

Great service and friendly staff!Today I took my two 9-year-old dogs to their (our) first vet visit in the US since we moved from Spain and they have been really helpful and addressed all the doubts I had.(Editing in May 2024) All the staff, from the front desk to vets and assistants, are always super friendly, attentive, helpful, responsive, loving and compassionate. Cannot imagine a better place for my dog.

Our Labrador was treated on multiple occasions by the veterinarian and he never seemed confident in his diagnoses. He also referred us to another veterinarian who treated allergies the dog had. Lots of money was spent, but the dog never got much better. Some of the staff is quite rude and once when I went in the exam room was not cleaned even though we were told to enter. (Feces on the floor) Please, if you care about your pet, choose a better veterinary office. BTW, the review is genuine.

After my vet of 30 years retired, I was on the hunt for a new one. I called several and settled on Cornerstone with Dr. Thomas. The staff was patient with all of my questions and didn't make me feel rushed or burdensome. We have been with Cornerstone for a few months now, and I appreciate the same great attitudes of the staff. They seem truly concerned about my dog. I rescued a cat that had a wond already that wasn't properly taken care of when he was in foster care . Took my cat for chronic skin issues. Was able to get an appointment same day. Curb side service with very little wait time, which is what my very nervous cat needs. Very pleasant staff. Dr Thomas began a treatment plan and will review in 3 wks. He came to the car to explain everything. Highly recommend using this practice. We had a very pleasant experience all around.

Our spirited 13 year-old dog was referred out for an ultrasound after her normal vet found a large mass near her spleen. We were actually referred to another clinic but decided to try Cornerstone instead. I'm so happy we did. Dr. Thomas and the staff were great to us and our girl so when she needed the mass removed we decided to entrust her care to Dr Thomas.He took the time to explain everything and answered all questions with tact and professionalism. He quickly gained our trust and confidence.Prices were reasonable and final bill was under the estimate. There were no hidden costs like we've experienced at other clinics.I want to be clear, you don't get cut rate care. When she didn't want to eat after 24 hours of observation they took the time to hand feed her and make sure she was okay to go home. The office is spacious and clean. Its not an assembly line type of clinic.She's home tonight recovering thanks to Dr. Thomas and the staff. They are worth the 20 minute drive past a dozen other vets for the cost conscience care we received.

I was able to get a same day appointment for my dog who had been sick for a week since moving to Texas. From the first contact I made for today’s appointment to the time and care and patience they took with me and my fur baby, I was so appreciative and impressed. We have been going to a vet close to us for quite a while. We went because it was close. But we had adopted a rescue dog who seemed very sick but they never really had a solution just to keep giving her more medicine, this became a weekly routine.My husband found Cornerstone Animal Hospital and I thought lets get a second opinion. Just from the phone call to setting up an appointment the experience was much better than our previous vet. They saw my dog and knew there was much more going on. They did an x-ray and found several things going on with her. I am so grateful I found them and only wish I had sooner. She is no longer in pain. We took our pup (Dr. Watson) to Cornerstone Animal Hospital and was quickly seen by the Doc. They told us our pup was dealing with allergies and they quickly prescribed him two medications. The staff was nice and greeted us at out car. They took our pup as we filled out the necessary paperwork while our pup was seen. We were in and out in less than an hour. I would highly recommend Cornerstone Animal Hospital plus they are open on Sundays, that’s when we went. This place is fantastic!

EDIT: IN RESPONSE TO THE BUSINESS’ RESPONSE, YOU ARE GLOSSING OVER THE FACT THAT YOUR STAFFS NEGLIGENCE ALLOWED MY DOG TO FALL ON AN ALREADY BROKEN LEG THAT HAD UNDER GONE SURGERY AND BENT IT 90*. I HAVE THE X RAY BUT DID NOT WANT TO POST HERE AS ITS HARD TO LOOK AT. THE LEG NOW MAY NOT ACCEPT A LARGER PLATE OR SCREWS AND IVE HAD TWO OTHER OFFICES ALREADY INCLUDING AN ORTHO AND THEY BOTH CANNOT BELIEVE YOU SENT THE DOG OUT AND TOLD US ITLL HEAL STRAIGHT EVEN THOUGH HIS BONES ARE NOW MANGLED. OF COURSE I DONT FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR STAFFING CARING FOR MY DOG. I hope everyone sees their reply and can genuinely tell how they truly could care less about your dog. He’s worried about the image and money first. I tried to pursue other avenues and they’re all exponentially worse now than they were before your staff allowed my dog to fall with a broken arm and fresh surgery.Now there’s scar tissue at the end of the bones that would never have healed properly and you were going to leave my dog in this condition to live with for the rest of his life.Screw this office.Cornerstone has been my wife's regular vet for a long time. Our 19 lb Aussie Shepard broke his front leg and we brought him here naturally. Things seemed to be handled well, they performed a surgery, x rays looked great. Once a week we were to return to have the leg unwrapped, the incision checked and cleaned, and the splint rewrapped.At the second visit for some reason my dog was put in a kennel high off the ground and when they went to get him out he was able to jump over the technicians shoulder and land on the ground bending his plate and arm at a 90* angle. Remi is not frantic usually so the fact that he jumped over the tech concerns me. He was scared.Second they straightened his leg externally and redid x rays. Told us to leave it and it would still heal straight and the bone would still be okay.Appalled we left and went home, only to find his leg slowly bending and him in pain.I've called and asked for help. They refunded our money and said we are on our own.There's a good chance my boys bones are now so damaged they cannot be fixed or it's going to be much more intensive to repair.And the Dr decided to wash his hands of the situation.Very sad.Not to mention the complications I'm hearing have happened even during routine surgeries with my wife's dogs before we were together, like fixing a big male dog you remove the excess skin so it doesn't fill with fluid and get infected. He chose to leave it and it got infected and costed her more money. And there's other examples too over the last few years.Steer clear.Please

We have been a long time, customer, primarily for grooming services, and we have been treated so well by Tony and team. But I’m sad to report that today was probably one of the worst customer experiences we have had. They tried to upsell a Bordetella shot, and when I told them that they already had it, They asked for the veterinarian to verify. That is good due diligence. In my opinion.. But when my wife went to pick up our dog, they gave it to our dog anyway and charged us for it. Getting two of those shots so close together is never good for a dog, and then the way they handled it so defensively and disrespectfully with my wife, this will be our last time visiting CornerStone. They were determined to be right, and the welfare of our dog was never even discussed.

Very friendly and informative. Our dog has hated every single vet she’s ever been to — have you ever seen a 60lb dog force her way under the passenger seat of a car in order to hide? — I was very impressed with Cornerstone keeping Nova’s file and remembering her after her first visit so they could work with us to find a solution that worked for her second visit. Felt like they treated her as a long term standing client, which I haven’t experienced from other clinics.

My calico Arya was sick and not feeling well. I took her here for the first time and had an excellent experience. She was diagnosed quickly with a fever and after some treatment we were on our way. Today Río had his first visit at Cornerstone Animal Hospital and we left super happy and satisfied!! Very easy to schedule appointment over the phone and got appointment within 24 hours. The staff was super professional, friendly, informative, and patient. They answered all my questions and or concerns. Rio was shaking from the moment he got in because he gets super nervous going to groomer or any pet store. As soon as we went to the check up room Jessica took her time letting Rio feel confortable with her and getting to know him. That was so impressive!!I had to wait a big longer as doctor was in surgery and when he finished, Jessica took Rio to him and he was not checked in front of me. The doctor did come to the room to meet me but it was a 3 minute interaction. That would be my only complaint as a new patient. Overall, I will highly recommend.

Cornerstone is by far the best animal hospital I have ever found...I have been rescuing and caring for cats and dogs for over 40 years, and have tried many vets in this area. Most have been very good, but Cornerstone has been excellent. Dr. Thomas and his staff are caring, patient, compassionate and prices are very reasonable. They actually saved my dogs life. I am new to the area and I did not have a vet. My dog had a cut on his ear that would not stop bleeding, so I took him to Cornerstone. Turns out the cut was minor but somehow my dog had eaten rat poison three days prior and no one was aware. The vet just knew something was off and he recommended some lab work. That is when we realized how serious his condition was. The vet informed me every step of the way and made sure my dog got the life saving care he needed. With his quick action we were able to reverse the effects before my pup had any internal bleeding!In addition to saving my dogs life, they also were very cost conscious without causing me excess fees. And they were so compassionate and caring. I really feel like they put their patients first. They even called me to check on my pup the next day.I recommended checking them out for so many reasons. I am one grateful dog mom.

My dog was really sick and we needed to find a new vet that was closer to our house and we came here. They had my dog in within 2 hours and my dog is now (it's been about 3 weeks since our visit) feeling 100% better. The medicine the vet gave him worked amazing and my dog actually didn't fight me when taking it. They made sure any specials and discounts were applied to our final bill and everyone was so nice and patient with my dog and my self! I think we found our go to vet going forward!

We discovered suddenly one afternoon that my dog was having trouble with one of her eyes. I called my usual vet and they couldn't see her for several days and I knew she needed immediate attention. We can’t say enough about the talents and skills of Tony, the amazing Groomer at Cornerstone. Before bringing Russell, our Havanese, to him, we were told by other groomers he would need anesthesia before he could be groomed because he was uncooperative. Well, Tony has been amazing since day 1 and I love to refer him to everyone! My puppy recently became extremely ill. There are several pet clinics in the immediate area I live in, but after doing some research and reading the reviews on this animal hospital, I decided to travel a little father away in attempts to get the best treatment possible for my puppy. From the time of my arrival the staff was very caring and compassionate. The veterinarian and his team did an outstanding job of of keeping me updated on everything that was going on. The staff treats our big boy so well and they are very understanding of his separation anxiety. Everyone has a genuine love for animals and it shows in their interaction with our Mastiff. I brought my not-so-friendly cat in today for her annual rabies vaccine. Very friendly staff and they had me in and out in less than 35 mins. They did not try to make me feel bad that she was hissing and swatting (has happened at several other places) or that I couldn’t afford more vaccines at the time. They did a great job at an awesome price!

We have a large dog that is not initially friendly towards strangers. The vet and his team worked hard to make her comfortable and relaxed during appointments and boarding. We appreciate their efforts and recommend them for your pets needs.

Just took my dogs in for the first time. The staff was great! The lady at the front just sweet talked my dogs and they were immediate friends. Dr. Matthews was very nice. sweet and gentle with the vaccinations. Very impressed! No wait either! I highly recommend them.

On Sept 20, 2020 my Bella was very ill, she needed care for something I went else where to get. While not satisfied with where I ended up first it was awful. Driving determined to find a veterinarian for Bella, I came across Cornerstone Animal Hospital. Just by the touching and caring response I received on the phone with staff member, I knew I needed Bella to be here. My worries were put to ease and Dr. Thomas and staff there took very great care of my Bella. She is recovering well, slow but getting there with all praise and thanks to them all ( Cornerstone Animal Hospital)..Thank you all tremendously from me and Bella.!!!!

Terrible, worst vet experience I’ve ever had.Addition: You 100% did have us as a client, but we will not be calling, as we will never be boarding or using your veterinary services again. However, since you have asked….A vet on Friday 12/30 saw 4 young kittens. You ran a fecal early on in our visit because your staff was clearly informed as to the symptoms the entire litter was experiencing. Your vet came in and began to prescribe a course of treatment before even asking a customary question, such as ‘tell me what’s going on’ to confirm that they aren’t speaking ignorantly or misunderstood. In fact he was attempting to prescribe medication which was completely inappropriate and for an entirely different condition. In addition, he had not reviewed the fecal that had been run, and to add on top, didn’t even know it had been run in the first place. After all confidence in anything he was saying had been lost, and we advised him we wanted our animals back and would take them elsewhere, he proceeded to belittle me to the staff in a completely audible manner. I then had to pay $160 for this terrible treatment of both myself and the kittens (who have since received far more appropriate care from another local practitioner).

Dr. Thomas and staff of Cornerstone Animal Hospital in North Richland Hills are very attentive and knowledgeable. When I first moved to the DFW Metroplex I didn’t know where to take my only baby for checkups, or boarding - luckily I saw their sign off of Davis. I have been coming to this office for a little over half a decade. Even after moving an hour away this is the only place I feel comfortable taking my now three pups, and I will continue to do so. They got us in there last minute they didn’t rush us. Staff was super friendly and really great. Very gentle with our pups and we really liked them and will be back.They even called us on Saturday morning (the next day after our appointment) to check on our pup and see how he was doing and if anything had changed.

It's difficult to write a glowing review in normal terms because i visited over the last few months of my furry partner's life. Words like wonderful and fantastic feel out of place in such a sad scenario but they accurately describe my experience with Cornerstone. Their staff was kind and helpful and their attention to our needs and covid protocols were top notch. They also had a very thoughtful approach to end of life care that made the hardest decision a bit more personal and easier to grieve. I can't thank them enough for their help with Booboo and would recommend them to anyone.

I really appreciate the concern for my two boxers from the entire staff. It's difficult to hand your fur babies over to strangers while having to wait in your car but the techs keep you informed of what is happening and the doctor comes out and thoroughly explains his findings and offers suggestions. They are also less expensive than our first vet for the same care.

I felt that my dog was in great hands. Dr. Thomas and his staff seem to treat conservatively instead of jumping to the most invasive and expensive treatment which I appreciated. His staff was also very willing to take the time to answer my questions and made sure I felt good about the care/treatment plan I needed to follow at home. Today Río had his first visit at Cornerstone Animal Hospital and we left super happy and satisfied!! Very easy to schedule appointment over the phone and got appointment within 24 hours. The staff was super professional, friendly, informative, and patient. They answered all my questions and or concerns. Rio was shaking from the moment he got in because he gets super nervous going to groomer or any pet store. As soon as we went to the check up room Jessica took her time letting Rio feel confortable with her and getting to know him. That was so impressive!!I had to wait a big longer as doctor was in surgery and when he finished, Jessica took Rio to him and he was not checked in front of me. The doctor did come to the room to meet me but it was a 3 minute interaction. That would be my only complaint as a new patient. Overall, I will highly recommend.

They did a great job grooming our very fluffy cat. We had taken him to a cats-only groomer in Dallas for years, and they always fussed about his behavior and had us give him a pill before bringing him. Cornerstone is by far the best animal hospital I have ever found...I have been rescuing and caring for cats and dogs for over 40 years, and have tried many vets in this area. Most have been very good, but Cornerstone has been excellent. Dr. Thomas and his staff are caring, patient, compassionate and prices are very reasonable. I am very fortunate to have found this practice, and have recommended it to other people, they have all had the same excellent experiences that I have had. They actually saved my dogs life. I am new to the area and I did not have a vet. My dog had a cut on his ear that would not stop bleeding, so I took him to Cornerstone. Turns out the cut was minor but somehow my dog had eaten rat poison three days prior and no one was aware. The vet just knew something was off and he recommended some lab work. That is when we realized how serious his condition was. The vet informed me every step of the way and made sure my dog got the life saving care he needed. With his quick action we were able to reverse the effects before my pup had any internal bleeding!In addition to saving my dogs life, they also were very cost conscious without causing me excess fees. And they were so compassionate and caring. I really feel like they put their patients first. They even called me to check on my pup the next day.I recommended checking them out for so many reasons. I am one grateful dog mom.

My dog was really sick and we needed to find a new vet that was closer to our house and we came here. They had my dog in within 2 hours and my dog is now (it's been about 3 weeks since our visit) feeling 100% better. The medicine the vet gave him worked amazing and my dog actually didn't fight me when taking it. They made sure any specials and discounts were applied to our final bill and everyone was so nice and patient with my dog and my self! I think we found our go to vet going forward!

If I was able to give more than five stars, I most certainly would. Dr. Thomas and his staff have been nothing but excellent and very knowledgeable with our pets. Our most recent visit was with our 17-year-old cat who had 10 stones to be surgically removed from his bladder. Dr. Thomas and his staff took great care of my cat and he's now back to his old self running around the house as if nothing had ever happened, just 2 weeks after surgery. Bear had actually stopped breathing at the very end of his surgery for unknown reasons and it wasn't looking good but his staff kept breathing for my cat until he was able to breathe on his own which inevitably saved his life. The staff has always looked after my pets as if they were their own and take a lot of pride in what they do.

I drive from Central Dallas all the way to North Richland Hills to take both my puppies to Dr. Matthew. The office staff is phenomenal, and the doctors care of my little for babies is exceptional. I tried to give this place a fair chance but I won’t be bringing my dog back here. The first time I had him boarded they gave him back to me with a bloody scratched up nose and said “he was pushing his dog bowl” didn’t make much sense to me but I know he gets anxious and it wasn’t too bad so whatever. I let it go. I just tried them again for the 2nd time for boarding and they gave me his dog bed back covered in pee. My dog has not had an accident since he was a PUPPY. He’s 7 years old. If my dog pee’d it was out of pure negligence. We won’t be back.

Dr. Mathew, Rhonda, and staff are AMAZING!!! They are very caring, understanding, and informative on what is going on. I found them when my ferret, Kevin Bacon, became really sick. Dr. Mathew was very sweet when he told me of the diagnosis of cancer. Rhonda called me the next day to check on us. I knew right then that I had found my fur babies doctor's office. They are fair priced and you are quick to get an appointment. They have treated several several of my animals. Always with compassion and understanding. I love how they know your name when you walk through the door. Most recently they treated and helped me save my fuzzbutt Larry the ferret after his sister passed away suddenly and broke our hearts. Dr. Mathew answered my questions 100%. He never seems like he is in a rush. I just can't say enough good things about every single person who works in that office. AWESOME STAFF!! Very attentive. We took our guinea pig in there for his first checkup, nail trim and teeth grind. They were so helpful and answered most all questions for us before we even had he chance to ask or think of them ourself! We discovered suddenly one afternoon that my dog was having trouble with one of her eyes. I called my usual vet and they couldn't see her for several days and I knew she needed immediate attention. I called Cornerstone and they fit her in within the hour! They were very professional and so sweet with my dog! I was very impressed. They spent time taking the best care of her. We can’t say enough about the talents and skills of Tony, the amazing Groomer at Cornerstone. Before bringing Russell, our Havanese, to him, we were told by other groomers he would need anesthesia before he could be groomed because he was uncooperative. Well, Tony has been amazing since day 1 and I love to refer him to everyone! My puppy recently became extremely ill. There are several pet clinics in the immediate area I live in, but after doing some research and reading the reviews on this animal hospital, I decided to travel a little father away in attempts to get the best treatment possible for my puppy. From the time of my arrival the staff was very caring and compassionate. The veterinarian and his team did an outstanding job of of keeping me updated on everything that was going on. Our dogs decided to eat Chocolate covered raisins so we were referring here by our vet. They got us in quickly within 30 min of calling and the Staff was helpful and kind and were very upfront on the process and what was happening. They also gave us options and were honest about what was necessary and what was just helpful. We hated the circumstances that brought us there but the care was amazing.

Took my 9 yr. old cat in on an emergency basis. She was not eating and in a lot of pain from surgery at another vet. The folks at Cornerstone were great. With their help, my old girl was back to herself by the next day. Their rates were very reasonable. Plus they called the next day to check on her.

Our pup had a random infection and, of course, it was on a Saturday, but when no one else locally could get my dog looked at on the same day, Cornerstone did! They saved the day and my pup from what was going to be a week of misery or worse. I had to board my cats here for a couple months and I was less than impressed with the staff. The facility is beautiful, but the techs are what ruined it for me. One of the technicians was super kind, I can't remember her name, but she was wonderful. She's the reason they get 2 stars instead of 1. The rest were rude, snobby, and condescending. When my cats ran out of their food, instead of calling me, they fed my cats the clinic's garbage cat food, charged me for it, and treated me like I was stupid. They'd call me at the most inopportune times demanding payment (even though they also demanded to have a credit card on file) and then would get snippy with me when I'd tell them I was driving or at work and couldn't give them a credit card number over the phone. Overall, it's a very nice facility run by a team of one decent human being and a bunch of jerks. Proceed with caution.

Before anything I am not from around the area so I didn't have a vet so I admitted my dog to a emergency hospital and found she not only had a UTI but X-rays showed a large tumor on her spleen. Being very stressed out I called around different places in the area and found that they lacked in this sensitive area. I ended up finding Cornerstone and to my surprise they were so welcoming and informative! Dr. Matthew and his staff are awesome and not only were they reasonably priced they called back to make sure my girl was doing ok. I cannot thank them enough I thought I would have had to put her down but they saved her! Thanks again Cornerstone!

The first time I had him boarded they gave him back to me with a bloody scratched up nose and said “he was pushing his dog bowl” didn’t make much sense to me but I know he gets anxious and it wasn’t too bad so whatever. I let it go. I just tried them again for the 2nd time for boarding and they gave me his dog bed back covered in pee. My dog has not had an accident since he was a PUPPY. He’s 7 years old. If my dog pee’d it was out of pure negligence. We won’t be back.

Dr. Mathew, Rhonda, and staff are AMAZING!!! They are very caring, understanding, and informative on what is going on. I found them when my ferret, Kevin Bacon, became really sick. Dr. Mathew was very sweet when he told me of the diagnosis of cancer. Rhonda called me the next day to check on us. I knew right then that I had found my fur babies doctor's office. They are fair priced and you are quick to get an appointment. They have treated several several of my animals. Always with compassion and understanding. I love how they know your name when you walk through the door. Most recently they treated and helped me save my fuzzbutt Larry the ferret after his sister passed away suddenly and broke our hearts. Dr. Mathew answered my questions 100%. He never seems like he is in a rush. I just can't say enough good things about every single person who works in that office. AWESOME STAFF!! Very attentive. We took our guinea pig in there for his first checkup, nail trim and teeth grind. They were so helpful and answered most all questions for us before we even had he chance to ask or think of them ourself! And the price was VERY affordable compared to most other places for guinea pig care. Would definitely recommend to everyone!!

I have been taking my cat Mittens here for a month because she has some health issues. Dr. Thomas and his staff are friendly and professional. I like how they actually call you back. By far this is the best place I have taken Mittens too. I think I will be staying here. Also, the prices are decent, not the cheapest but not as expensive as other places. My little kitten got into some ribbon that was on a Christmas present around the holidays. She ended up swallowing almost 3 feet. I brought her to Cornerstone Animal Hospital, and it was clear to the doctor that she was going to need a foreign body removal surgery. The staff and doctor were very kind and led me through the entire process from the initial X-rays showing signs of intestinal blockage to all the after-care instructions, which was very comforting since Lina is my first cat, so I had no prior experience with sick pets to draw from. It's been almost a month now, and my sweet kitty is back to her normal, rambunctious self! The surgery site has healed very nicely - you can hardly see the scar. We're so happy she's okay! The staff is very friendly. Offered a little too much unsolicited advice about my dog, put me off a little bit. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the doctor. He seemed nice, but didn't really interact with my dog. Wasn't thrilled with unnecessary test explanation. Overall, I'll probably use them again.

We had an emergency with our 5 month old puppy ingesting something potentially poisonous and needed urgent help. I found Cornerstone Animal Hospital online and immediately called them. The Team was beyond amazing!! They stayed after hours for a puppy that was not under their care yet they treated her (and us!) like family! Being new to the area, I didn't have a new veterinarian for Della--but we do NOW! This Team is the BEST choice for you and your fur-babies!

I brought in my rabbit to get his nails cut and it was his very first time so I was worried how it would go. As soon as I walked in everyone was kind to me as well as my pet. They were very careful with him and the vet talked with us afterwards and answered any questions we had. Great experience and I will definitely be coming back!

CAH is my "go to" place for all animal care. They provide excellent, comprehensive, small animal veterinary care. They also have very good and reasonable grooming service. I don't know if they provide boarding.Excellent with the reminders for upcoming vaccinations and don't try to push additional services that are unnecessary, to increase their income.Great value!!

Our dogs decided to eat Chocolate covered raisins so we were referring here by our vet. They got us in quickly within 30 min of calling and the Staff was helpful and kind and were very upfront on the process and what was happening. They also gave us options and were honest about what was necessary and what was just helpful. We hated the circumstances that brought us there but the care was amazing.

Took my 9 yr. old cat in on an emergency basis. She was not eating and in a lot of pain from surgery at another vet. The folks at Cornerstone were great. Our pup had a random infection and, of course, it was on a Saturday, but when no one else locally could get my dog looked at on the same day, Cornerstone did! They saved the day and my pup from what was going to be a week of misery or worse. I had to board my cats here for a couple months and I was less than impressed with the staff. The facility is beautiful, but the techs are what ruined it for me. One of the technicians was super kind, I can't remember her name, but she was wonderful. She's the reason they get 2 stars instead of 1. The rest were rude, snobby, and condescending. When my cats ran out of their food, instead of calling me, they fed my cats the clinic's garbage cat food, charged me for it, and treated me like I was stupid. They'd call me at the most inopportune times demanding payment (even though they also demanded to have a credit card on file) and then would get snippy with me when I'd tell them I was driving or at work and couldn't give them a credit card number over the phone. Overall, it's a very nice facility run by a team of one decent human being and a bunch of jerks. Proceed with caution.

Before anything I am not from around the area so I didn't have a vet so I admitted my dog to a emergency hospital and found she not only had a UTI but X-rays showed a large tumor on her spleen. Being very stressed out I called around different places in the area and found that they lacked in this sensitive area. I ended up finding Cornerstone and to my surprise they were so welcoming and informative! Dr. Matthew and his staff are awesome and not only were they reasonably priced they called back to make sure my girl was doing ok. I cannot thank them enough I thought I would have had to put her down but they saved her! Thanks again Cornerstone!

I've had a great experience here with both my pets. I have an urgent situation with one and, having just moved to the area, called them based on a Google search. They got me in within a few hours and took great care of my cat. I have since had both cats there for exams and such and each time they were prompt, polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

I took my sick cat there for an emergency visit and they were a kind and caring group of Doctors. Thanks to them she back to being healthy. Their prices are very reasonable as well. A couple of weeks later I found a stray dog that needed care, again the prices were reasonable they even waved the office visited cost to help with the bill. I did find the stray dogs owner 9 days later, so the dog is safely home and healthy. I would highly recommend them.

We had to make a very tough decision to put our beloved Foxy down today. We knew she was suffering. I would highly recommend this place. After 14 yrs of doggie life; it was an incredible miserable decision we had to come to. However; the staff at Cornerstone is Absolutely an Awesome and compassionate team. From the moment we walked in there, to the very end of having to leave, they were absolutely compassionate, caring and loving. Not just to us ,but to our beautiful baby girl Foxy. I had incredible experience with everyone at the Cornerstore Animal Hospital. My dog Bella had badly injured her arm while playing and started to howl in pain. We weren't sure if her arm was broken or sprained. I googled local Animal Hospitals and decided to call Cornerstore because they had incredible reviews. They told me to bring her in and they immediately jumped into action. They were so kind and took their time to explain everything to my mother and I. Bella had a hairline fracture in her shoulder. :(They even called us the next day to check on Bella and make sure the pain meds were helping alleviate some of her pain. I was so impressed by their thoughtfulness to follow-up!I highly, highly recommend Cornerstore Animal Hospital. Our dogs and cats are our fur babies and we want to ensure we put them in the right hands to be taken care of in emergency situations. You can definitely trust Cornerstore.

I brought my cat in and he was mis diagnosed, he was lethargic and throwing up, the vet chalked it up to him eating something. Turns out his urinary tract was blocked up and he wasn't able to pee. The vet pressed on his stomach but apparently didn't fill that his bladder was full. Even though my cat was clearly not ok and very lethargic he gave him a few injections and sent me on my way.. They even did a blood test to see if there was an issue and his kidney was showing double the level it should have but he didn't even acknowledge that as an issue. He said to wait a few days and come back if it didn't change. My cat would ve died if I had listened to him. Luckily I listened to my gut and took him to an overnight vet who knew the problem within seconds. I should've known better because the first time I brought him, his allergies were diagnosed as fleas. If you love your animal don't take them here. I would've lost my cat who is like family to me if I would've ignored my instinct.

My heart broke on October 20, 2020 when my 19 year 4 month old Erica passed away. She was not alone. They were there with her, giving her the comfort and love she needed while I was at work. I first encountered Dr. Matthew on New Years Day. Yes! NEW YEARS DAY! My chihuahua was straining so hard to poop that blood appeared. Then there was stinky diarreah. Of course I freaked out! I called about 20 veterinarian clinics in the surrounding areas and they were all closed since it was January 1st. My very last resort was an Emergency Animal Hospital (because the fees are outrages!). After officially giving up and preparing to cough up extra money that I didn't have, I got a call back. It was Dr. Matthew returning my missed call from an hour ago! Did I mention that I had never been to this place? I couldn't believe it! We scheduled an appointment for 10am that same exact morning. He saw my little Kody, prescribed meds, a special diet and sent me on my way! Rhonda was also VERY nice. She talked to me the entire time, politely answered the million+1 questions I asked and was just overall extremely professional. Im in Euless, and these guys aren't exactly the closest, but Ill take the drive any day! Who can turn down a vet thats open on New Years Day?! And the prices are reasonable. I didn't have to sell my kidney after all.Oh yea, Rhonda even called a few days later to check up on Kody and to see if I had any concerns. These guys are awesome. THANK YOU Dr. Matthew and Rhonda.

Always, always there when we need them. With multiple pets someone always needs something and it’s usually a very last minute need. I have never been turned away and the service, expertise , and prices cannot be beat. I won’t take my “kids” anywhere else.
