Fond Memories just did a very touching thing to us. The remains of our baby was sent to Fond through vet office. We called Fond if we could come over to say last goodbye before cremation. They gave us a date for cremation. When we were there our baby was carefully put on a tray with black cloth. They even arranged her to hold her favorite football toy. That really comforted us a lot knowing our baby was treated considerately. The cremation was proceeding before we left and we had opportunity to pray for her. Special thanks go to manager Brian and Que. both were so kind and professional.

I was so touched by the care and ease that Fond Memories provided. I had to say goodbye to my sweet dog Bella of 13 years with the assistance of our mobile vet who works seamlessly with Fond Memories. She came home in a beautifully carved box held in blue velvet. Her paw print I will hold dear. It was the home going she deserved.

Andrew has helped me through the loss of a few of my animals and always listened to what I wanted. He was sincere and compassionate. Fond Memories is my go to when I lose a fur baby

I really hesitate to leave reviews like this because I work in veterinary medicine, but I am incredibly frustrated with Fond Memories. We had to euthanize one of my dogs at home on January 14, and the (amazing) vet we worked with uses Fond Memories. We were told it would take 7-10 days to receive his remains back. We ordered an urn and two necklaces from the catalog. We also requested to be notified when the cremation was complete (or at least to update the vet so they could tell us). The person my vet spoke to agreed to check every day and call her when it was complete. That did not happen. I understand it’s not standard practice, but don’t agree to something if you aren’t going to do it. Ten days passed, and I reached out to my vet for an update. She said they had everything except one of the necklaces, which was scheduled to be delivered February 5. I agreed to wait so we could get everything at once. On February 7, I reached out to my vet for an update, and she was told by Fond Memories that the necklace still hadn’t come in. I gave approval for them to deliver everything except the necklace to my vet so we could pick it up and that they would mail the necklace when received. We were told it would be delivered February 8 or 9. On February 9 after getting no update that it was at my vets office, I reached out again. This time my vet called me with her own frustration because now Fond Memories is claiming they don’t even have our URN—despite saying WEEKS ago they had everything except the necklace. Now it’s a Saturday and my vet is doing everything in her power to get in touch with someone there, but I have no idea when we will receive an update. At this point, I am not even sure they still have his remains because it feels like they are giving every single excuse they can. At best, there is a serious communication problem happening and at worst, they have lost my pets remains entirely. Either way for a company literally in the business of grief, I am shocked at how poorly handled and distressing this experience has been. I unfortunately no longer feel comfortable recommending them to my veterinary clients.
