Customer Reviews Summary

Overall, the experiences seem to vary significantly depending on individual interactions with the staff.

They were recommended by the Humane Society and by a mutual friend. Hereās the problem they donāt answer their phone and they do not return calls or email messages. So I guess they can pick and choose who they want business from. Not very professional in my opinion, not answer your phone or make a phone call to return a call. However, evidently when they do choose to communicate, they do a good job however, this is not a shared experience. I wouldnāt recommend them.

Our baby girl Roxy passed very suddenly, as expected we were devastated and absolutely heartbroken. My sister in law sent us the info for Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery and the next day I called them. Donna was extremely helpful. She answered all of my questions and quickly set up a time/date for us to drop Roxy off. I called her on Wednesday, my father-in-law dropped her off on Friday, and by Tuesday we had our baby's ashes back. Roxy's remains came back in a beautiful box, with a name plate and were wrapped in a beautiful cloth.Thank you so much to Donna, and to Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery.

One of my good friends recommended this place but question is I may have to put my buddy down and would bury him. Question can he be buried in his favorite bed along with some of his favorite toys. He doesn't really have much

I canāt share enough how truly wonderful this company isā¦ we had a disappointing experience with a different pet cremation company about 1.5 yrs ago so when my daughter wanted us to cremate her Guinea Pig I was skeptical in finding a different company to use.Bluebonnet called us back within the day to set up a pickup time after I sent an e-mail. We did have to wait a few days to drop her off but we were coming into a holiday weekend so it was understandable. They communicated that they would need an extra day but THEY HAND DELIVERED our Guinea Pigās ashes to our home. They also provided us with a beautiful wooden box with her name and her ashes are in a pretty/colorful bag inside. Icing on the cake is the cost was VERY affordable. We are thrilled and this will now be our go to company.

I cannot express how happy I am with how Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery has taken care of my beloved Cataleya. From beginning to end, they were completely helpful and sympathetic to my families loss. I received her ashes today and we are extremely happy with how her remains are preserved and the urn that they placed her ashes in. They even personally returned the ashes to my house. 10 stars isn't enough... I cannot thank them enough!!!

We have used Bluebonnet in the past for cremation services, and while their customer service is not always the best, they were able to help us when our pets passed unexpectedly. This time, we were dealing with euthanasia of our terminally ill elderly dog, and I called and asked the day before if they would be able to pick her up from the vet's office. They told me yes, that wouldn't be a problem, and to let them know after she had passed. That day was of course very difficult, but it was made significantly worse because neither the vet's office nor ourselves could get ahold of Bluebonnet. We called and called and it went straight to voicemail. The next morning, we were able to finally get through and they told us they were booked solid and could not take her. I am livid. We did everything right, told them in advance, and they are refusing to provide the service they said they could do. We could have postponed euthanasia by a day or two if needed, but now we are left in the lurch because Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery lied to us in this incredibly emotional time. I absolutely do not recommend and will tell everyone I know about their horrible customer service.

Worst customer service ever.We called again after discussing scheduling a cremation this week earlier with them. Donna, who picked up the phone, was extremely unprofessional, callous, and unsympathetic. I have never heard someone be so unkind before. Talking to us rudely as if we are wasting her time, saying that they are completely booked up after promising to help us. We had even notified them much eariler of the decided day for pick up for cremation though text and email. You will NOT get in touch with these people that way, as they obviously do not care. This is not about them being booked up/not available, its about how rude this person was. I wish i could give no stars to represent how terrible we were treated and talked to. If you want compassionate people to take care of you and your dearly beloved pets, do NOT come here. I wish I had seen the newer reviews earlier because they are true.

Called to see about cremating my kitten that passed away this morning. I was hung up on the first time I called. The second time I called the woman that usually answers the phone was abrupt with me saying that they were already closed. The listing says closed at 3 pm. Iāve had a dog cremated here before. The woman has always been rude but the man that owns it is usually nice. After this I wonāt recommend to friends nor family and never use their services again. Perhaps you need to hire or stop having the rude lady answer the phone from now on. People are grieving over their lost pets. They donāt need the attitude on top of the death of their pet. Also change your listing if you close before 3 pm or even better don't answer the phone.

This place has been great with two of my babies. You were so kind and sympathetic with Jasmine & Pickle the cat. Communication is tough but they have always gotten back to me and confirmed they would handle my babies. Shoot an email if you canāt reach by phone.

I'm so glad I called Bluebonnet. We'd spent so much at the animal ER, we couldn't spend much more on a cremation so I was pleasantly surprised the cost was only $140. Donna was wonderful on the phone. We talked about our pets and shared some pet memories. Her husband met me at the cemetery when I dropped him off. This morning Donna delivered my fubaby to me at my home in two beautiful wooden boxes, one for myself and one for my son who lives away from home. After reading some of the reviews on here, I think people need to consider that Donna and her husband are helping so many pet owners on a daily basis who call them grieving or they may be taking in pets that people dump off at their cemetery. Apparently this happens a lot. Please be patient, call back or leave a message. You'll be glad you did and maybe give them a donation as well. They do a lot for what they charge.

I had suddenly lost my best friend for 16 years right in front of my eyes and didnāt know what to do, after looking up pet crematories, i had found this one in my familyās budget and decided to give them a call as soon as i could, the first time i called them there was no answer, so i decided maybe Iād have to go back on my search, after speaking with a competitor i found out that their price was just a little more than what we were willing to spend, so after reading reviews i decided to give this place one more call back, and Iām glad i did. I live about 45 minutes away from bluebonnet and upon dropping my pet off the owner had asked my sister and i what a good time would be to bring her back, i was shocked that he was willing to drive the 45 minutes to and from my house and when i didnāt answer the front door he called and left a detailed message of where my pet's ashes were. The owner and the woman on the phone were both nice, and my pet was placed in a personalized wooden box and i was given a really sweet poem. They made the sudden death of my first pet a lot easier.

If you are gonna run a business and tell someone that you will call them when you get to your business and donāt shame on you! At least have the decency to return a call or text message! You talked you my husband this morning and told him you would call us back when you got to the facility and you never did. We waited and waited for you to call us all day until we couldnāt wait any longer. We were lucky to find another place to take our Maxx to and they answered the phone and were so very kind. The owner even offered to come pick him up. I donāt know if you run your business like this all the time but if you do, please learn that when you say you are gonna call someone back to do it or at least text back and say you canāt help us instead of leaving us waiting. This day was emotional enough but your actions made it worse. I do not recommend you at all. If you need a good place to lay your fur baby to rest or cremation I recommend Countryside Pet Crematory! They are so caring and professional! She treats your babies like her own!

Very supportive and empathetic losing a pet. Timing was rushed to get Armin to them, so I couldn't have him picked up. They delivered his memorial box to us though, that was very kind of them. I deeply appreciated that.

I highly recommend this place. David met us there at the vet where we took our dog to cross over the rainbow bridge. He took our info and several days later he hand delivered our Chilly in his urn to us. The wooden urn is beautiful, tasteful and very well made.I couldn't believe the efforts they made to make our pet's departure as well as it could be.These people are compassionate and understand the pain you are going through and for us where money is tight, they made it possible for us to give our dog the passage he deserved.Thank you Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery for your services.

My first experience with them was in December of last year. I called around and found that they were inexpensive yet vet professional. They came and picked up my dog with an hour of her death. She was brought back the next day in a beautiful hand carved box with her name on it. So when my second animal passed there was never a question of who to call. Again, the same compassion and professionalism. I highly recommend them to everyone.

My dog and best friend of 15 years passed on June 12th. I met Donna at Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery on June 14th to arrange for the cremation. I found Donna to be extremely caring and compassionate. Her and her husband run this business, she is very much an animal lover as much as I. Donna assured me that my dog would be cremated, and his ashes returned to me. Donna called me on Friday June 17th and delivered my dogs ashes in a really nice box with his name engraved on a plaque.I hope that you don't need this service but if you do, I wouldn't hesitate to use Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery. I believe they are doing God's work and for the service they perform, the price is very affordable.

Overall I was pleased with the outcome with the service. This was a very difficult time with me losing my fur baby āStarā š¢. I knew I just wanted her back home with us so I decided to have her cremated. I was told that Bluebonnet never answered the phone, and yes that is correct. BUT eventually I was able to get Star back home with us in about a week. I am pleased with the work they did and I did get a phone call afterwards to make sure I was satisfied. If it wasnāt for the fact they donāt answer their phone calls I would have given them 5 stars.

Last month my cat's health was declining so I decided to make arrangements ahead of time for him to be cremated. This place was impossible to get ahold of. No one answers the phone and we even went by there (and double checked it was during their listed hours) and no one was there to help us. We ended up going elsewhere and had a wonderful experience.

We put an amazing soul to sleep because of cancer on Sunday. Monday I called everyone seeking affordable services. I called this place multiple times and it went to a voicemail that did not seem like a professional service. Then a lady finally called me and at first she was straight business. Then as we spoke she told me that people drop off their dying pets at their location all the time. She described how she takes in the pets and loves them and gets them medical services. Then she told me of how she has to endure the loss of those pets. These people came and picked up our beloved Giant. They did not have the look of a professional company. They apologized for our loss and told us they would bring Giant back home to us. We paid cash and they didn't even count it . Even though we asked. Today they brought our Giant home. Today they returned 20$ and told us his weight was less and gave us money back. Today they sent him home in something way more special than a urn or box. They sent him in the most perfect way. I paid 140 for my baby's cremation. And I also found there are amazing and honest folks still in this world!

This place is obviously NOT in business; no one answers the phone, no one responds to emails, no one returns voicemails left either. And don't try to show up because there is NO building to go to, plus the cemetery stays locked. And YES, I repeatedly called during the posted open hours! Don't waste your time....

In February of 2018, I lost my beloved dog to lymphoma. I left a phone message, which Donna promptly returned and we arranged for me to meet her at their cemetery gate a bit later. To say that I was emotionally distraught when I arrived, is a great understatement. I don't have words strong enough to adequately express how kind and patient Donna was with me that afternoon. I was having tremendous difficulty letting go of my beloved girl. I'm crying while I even try to type this. She was truly a godsend in the midst of one of the hardest days of my life. Donna took time from her day, which she did not have to do, to talk with me at length and to comfort me. I will always be indebted for her compassion, and I unreservedly recommend Bluebonnet. She delivered the ashes to my home a few days later, in a nice wooden box with my dog's name and nickname affixed to it.

My dog will be put down at 10:00 AM this morning. I have been trying for 5 fays to get an appointment to speak to this place, I have left multiple voicemails and emails asking for assistance. All I have gotten in response is chirping crickets.wish I could give 0 star review for this place.I guess I need to find another place to take my baby girl today.

I had to have my sweet Nick put down this past Saturday, he was old and had dementia and his eyesight was failing . I had Bluebonnet cremate him for me. Their service is wonderful and their pricing is beyond reasonable, I am so thankful for them. They even picked him up on Saturday and brought his ashes to me today in a beautiful little box with his name on it. Thank you so much Bluebonnet, I will definitely be telling everyone about you wonderful people!

We have placed 2 of our furbabies at Bluebonnet. Both were wonderful experiences.March 2019 our last furbaby passed away at home. I contacted Bluebonnet and was told that due to all the rain, she could ot bury our dog Diesel. Since March 2019, I have been able to speak to a human two times total. I am not ever able to get a human on the phone and I do not get any calls returned. The day that diesel died and I was told that she could not bury my dog, we had to go purchase a freezer to place our dog in. We had nowhere to put the freezer but on our covered patio near our pool area. So as I sit next to my freezer with my dog and I still can't get anyone to answer the phone, I'm wondering what in the world is going on? Is it too much to ask to have our dog buried with our other dogs in the town that we live in?I do not want to bury my dog away from our home area. We do not believe in cremation. I hope that I don't sound rude but I am so frustrated that we cannot allow our dog to rest in peace and get rid of the freezer off of our patio and move on. If anyone knows how to get ahold of the people that run Bluebonnet pet cemetery, please tell them about this post. We need closure. We need our dog to be taken care of and we need to have our patio back.Just venting. Thank YoušŖ JUST WANTED TO UPDATE MY POST! Donna called me today!! She was very kind and we had a nice conversation. Looking forward to finally placing our sweet boy Diesel at the Cemetery with how sister and brother Ally and Hollister. Hopefully it will be soon!

Terrible customer service.I used bluebonnet several years ago and had a wonderful experience, in a hard time. I attempted to use them again and found out that itās not the same company. The company with the glowing reviews from years ago is completely different with different people answering the phones (or not answering) and different owners. They donāt answer their email, they donāt answer their phone, they donāt call back. The prices on their website are not what they charge now. And once you get the old lady on the phone sheās rude, has zero manors, and will hang up on you mid sentence. So look at their customer facing service, if they canāt handle that properly I hate to think of what they are doing behind the scenes. I would run from consideration of this place again.

I called Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery on Friday, March 22nd to have them pick up two of our cats that had passed away within 12 hours of each other. They did not answer the phone, so I left a message. I also sent them an email that same day. I have called them several times since the 22nd and have not heard from them by telephone or email. I finally gave up and called another cremation company and they picked them up the next day. Today is the 27th and I still have not heard from Bluebonnet. I guess they have so much business that they don't need ours which is fine. I just think that it is very unprofessional to not return phone calls to people who are already distraught over losing their pets/fosters. If you are no longer in business then you need to have your listing removed from the internet. If I could have given no stars then that is what they would have received.

I didnāt want to cremate my dog and so I researched pet cemeteries in the area and was very pleased with Blubonnetās advertised prices for ground burial online, I called them multiple times during their hours of operation and emailed them and got no response by email and/or by phone. My calls went to a non personalized voicemail with no recorded message or company referenced. It is a very disorganized way of running a business to not have a business identified voicemail, and to not answer their phones, or return messages during the stated business hours. I ended up cremating her which I truly did not want to do with another company. This makes me sad that they offered a service but were not available to talk to.

Blubonnet Pet Cementary is wonderful. My cat passed away (old age) durning the snow storm. I had to keep him in the freezer until i could get in touch with someone. When I was called back after leaving a message, I was surprised that the cost for creamation to be $100. I highly recommend Bluebonnet for their affordable, prompt and compassionate service. They personally brought my cat home to me in a beautiful wooden urn with his name on a plaque.

I lost my best friend in September, and now I've lost my girl last week. Both cremations were done with Bluebonnet Pet Cemetery. I had my babies back to me so quickly and they were in such beautiful wood boxes. I just want to thank them so much š

Iāve tried to call bluebonnet several times, each time I am greeted with a voicemail or a lady who doesnāt enjoy her job.I called at 1:15 asking if there was an appt for today (Saturday) and was told they close at 2pm, which the website as well as google says 3PM.I call Again a few minutes later about 1:30 to schedule an appointment for Monday morning.Iām met with voicemail and another time the phone was picked up and hung up with out me even saying a word.I had my girlfriend call to see if she could do it, as maybe she was ignoring my number. She was met with the same lady telling her that they are closed (time was 1:45PM) and subsequently hanging up on my girlfriend.I call Right after (1:46PM) as she has TOLD me they close at 2.She said āi just Told you we close at 2 and not doing anything else todayā then hung up on me!!!I didnt Even get a chance to tell her that SHE TOLD ME that they close at 2PM before the call was ended, 15 minutes before they close.Wow.With service like this, i donāt even trust that Iād get my own pets ashes.

Do not call this business for cremation services. I lost my beautiful dog Monday and when I called about cremation the phone was answered rudely without identifying the business. When I explained my need, I was told "Not today!" and hung up on. Take my advice and contact your vet first.

My beloved Tommy, a gray and white Manx died from a terminal illness. I was so distraught, but David came to my house, picked up Tommy's remains and handled the cremation with dignity and compassion.David was exceedingly kind and patient and understanding about my grief. I now have Tommy with me in a beautiful carved box. Thank you, David for making this a little easier that it might have been otherwise.

WOW...I have to say that the sweet guy that picked up and returned my Cameron handled him with such care and compassion. The hand-carved wood box is so beautiful and the handmade American flag bag he is in inside the box...it was just so touching. They were compassionate, understanding, professional, and punctual. I will be recommending them to others...and recommend them to anyone reading this!

Had our dog Ginger die on a Saturday. Called around, and this was the only place open. We took her there, and they took care of everything. They cremated her, put her in a wooden urn with an American flag, then brought her to us, all for $100.Completely satisfied.

My mother has been waiting to bury her dog since October 2018. Right now her Chihuahua is in my sisters freezer because they can not dig the hole to bury my motherās dog. This is TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE! If your pet dies between the rainy season, be prepared to put it in a freezer until the cemetery can bury your pet.

Today my puppy was returned to me today, alot of care and quick work was done to bring her back home. Thank you for your help. Very sincere and loving people that just want to help.

I highly enjoyed this service, I had a little finch cremated. They were fast, kind, loving, and the little box was adorable! Will definitely come here again one day.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! They have the WORST customer service. They refuse to answer their calls at ANY POINT IN THE DAY (DURING OPEN HOURS!!) and they do not answer voicemails. I am not the first review saying this, why even have a phone number or voicemail if youāre not gonna answer or call back? Donāt even try to call the last hour because you will get a rude receptionist who sends all your calls to voicemail and answers the phone with āWeāre closed! Weāre not doing anything else today!ā So you require appointments but I canāt call to make an appointment without getting attitude? (Keep in mind this is 20 mins BEFORE they close) If you donāt like your job, maybe you should get a new one where you donāt have to deal with already distraught customers! AGAIN, I REPEAT, TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE TO PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY CARE!!!

They were very prompt and respectful with the pick up and delivery. Very nice urn as well. Would recommend to anyone that is looking at this option, you get more then what you pay for.

David and Donna were so kind and made this extremely difficult time a little easier. I can't say enough good things about them and all they do!
