We had the unfortunate opportunity to use the services of Emerson Pet Cremation. While the situation was heartbreaking losing our baby girl, Emerson was so kind and thoughtful through each step of the process. It’s a small operation, but you can see and feel that they put their hearts into every step of laying your babies to rest, as well as your grieving process. We dropped off our Poppy, and they were emotionally understanding, and just let us sit in silence (very much needed). They were very responsive through the process and we got her back just two days later. The send home package was so well thought out and sweet. Thank you for doing what you could to bring our family peace. It means more than you could ever know.

This is a review I never wanted to write due to the heartbreak it involves, but I'm so thankful I chose Emerson. We lost our boy over a holiday weekend, and though the office was closed that Monday, they managed to return him to me by Tuesday, which was incredibly fast. When selecting personalized jewelry, the staff were not only kind and patient but ensured every detail was perfect. Whether I spoke with them on the phone or in person, they consistently showed compassion and understanding. At no point did I feel like a burden, and I’m deeply grateful for their patience and kindness throughout the entire process.

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Emerson. They were SO incredibly caring and gentle with my Bella. We had a home euthanasia in Amarillo. The people who came to pick her up were so compassionate and caring (and were exactly on time). When I spoke with the “office people” they were so sympathetic to our loss. I paid extra for them to do Bella’s footprints, and they took the time to hang it with the pearl necklace I sent Bella in. Every single step of this incredibly hard process was handled perfectly and with the greatest care. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Just wanted to add to these reviews for those looking into this place for their precious pets. This has been the best first time experience having to cremate my chihuahua, Tinkerbell I have had for 17 years. They were very nice and sympathetic. They treated her remains respectfully. I love all the hard work they put into every detail. From the appointment on phone to her go home bag. Very thoughtful and I will be highly recommending them to everyone. I’m glad I used their services. Will be using them again for the rest of my fur babies.

I can’t thank you all enough for making this beautiful urn for our fur baby that we had to say goodbye to way too early. You were so compassionate during one of the most difficult times in our lives and made things so much easier for us. Highly recommend Emerson Pet Cremation to assist with your fur babies during a time of loss. We had to euthanize our 14 year old lab mix on Veterans weekend due to a ruptured splenic mass and had to drive her to the emergency vet in Amarillo. They gave me a list of cremation services they recommend and Emerson was on that list. I called the Amarillo number listed on their website and Gary promptly answered all my questions and empathized with the loss of my family member. They told me it would take 7-10 days to get her remains back and process any additional services. The entire time communication was above and beyond; from letting me know when she was being transported, to meeting up with us after hours to hand deliver her remains to us. We lost her on a Sunday and she was returned back to us by the following Saturday. Thank you guys for being so kind, and offering compassion and empathy during this difficult loss. Would definitely recommend.

We lost our sweet, young Bo boy suddenly, traumatically and unexpectedly at our home on Monday morning. Emerson was beyond kind and compassionate when I called. We didn’t have the heart to load him up and take him away, so they came and got him for us. They were very gentle with him and patient with us while they talked us through our options. We got our baby back today, barely 48 hours later. They also brought him back to our house for us. His urn is beautiful, as was the clay paw print they took for us. I didn’t know we would also be getting a print of his paw, as well as his nose. The nose print is truly so special to me and I’m so glad I have it. I would take my baby back in a heartbeat, but I’m glad if this had to be done, that we chose Emerson for it.

Now a year later, I am living in Dallas and just received a 1 year anniversary letter commemorating the passing of Nayla. Words cannot express how wonderful these folks are. We called after our beloved family pet passed late one evening. We were in shambles and could barely speak. They were able to direct us to where we needed to go and what to do to make sure they were able to collect our fur baby. They kept in constant communication and quickly got the remains back to us. We had our cat cremated last year. Everyone we spoke with and met was kind and polite. The turn around time was a few days. We received her ashes in a beautiful wooden box along with a poem. This year they sent us a card on the anniversary of her passing. Words can not express how surprised we were. Not just some store bought card that most businesses send out. This was a small hand written note, that we received right before Christmas. I can not recommend Emerson enough.

I have had such a wonderful experience with Emerson. During a very very difficult time it was so refreshing to have such kind, passionate people to help us through. We had to euthanize our sweet Toby (12 years) unexpectedly so we did not have plans made prior. But Emerson did not hesitate to get things in order for us and were very quick to get Toby picked up for transport. I have truly loved working with this wonderful team and, though I hope it’s not soon, will definitely be working with them again.

The Pet Hospital recommended Emerson Pet Cremation and we could not have asked for more caring and attentive professionals. I would not recommend Emerson. My pet passed away suddenly in the morning. The lady answering the phone at 7:30am was not empathetic at all, was unable to let me know if they could even take my pet until they opened at 9am. I asked her what I needed to do until then and she said "I don't know." I couldn't imagine they didn't have a protocol for people calling outside of office hours. I went with someone else and was taken care of.

I am very pleased with the experience I had with Emerson. The owner was kind enough to answer my call outside of business hours to set me up an appointment drop off my cat to be cremated who had died unexpectedly early that morning. She very professional and after meeting, I immediately felt completely at ease with leaving my cat with them for this process. They are also a part of a business organization that follows strict standards for pet cremation, so you will know that if you choose a private cremation then you will get just that.

My baby passed away last year in November as we were visiting Texas for Thanksgiving. Very tough time for us and hard making decisions being away from home. But finding and choosing Emerson made things a little easier for us during such a hard time. We lost our little buddy on a Sunday morning and were so distraught we could barely see straight. Not knowing really what to do I started searching for cremation centers In the area, everyone was closed including Emerson but Tracey still answered the phone and helped us through the loss. Amazing service. It's not a service you want to think about, but when the time comes, this place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I lost two of our pet rats on the same day. Rats may be an unconventional pet, but the owner made them feel like any other family member. They worked with us around our hectic schedules and were wonderful to talk to from beginning to end. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Everything was neatly packaged and they even included an urn in the cost. They made our rough time a little easier. We truly appreciate this business and will use again when this service is needed. While I've lost pets, I've not been involved with a crematory before. You can imagine my surprise when I answered a call when my sweet Libby died in May 2020 asking if I had any questions or needed anything. I was pleased to find a tiny bag of wildflower seeds to use as an outdoor memory when I picked up the ashes.My punk cat Boston passed suddenly last week and there was Tracy calling with condolences as I was arriving home without him. I can't thank you enough for your kind words and gentle presentation of our furry friends' cremains. I'm going to have two corners of my yard adorned with wildflowers.

When our fur baby died we had terrible issues with the veterinarian clinic. They were completely insensitive in so many ways. I was really scared that the crematorium they chose to go through would be the same. I was so happy to find out that they weren't. They called me to let me know they had picked up my dog; they called me the day that they were going to cremate him; and they called me to let me know that they had taken him back to the vet for us to pick up. The vet never did. They included so many wonderful things when we picked up his cremains. It was finally like someone cared about our baby as much as we do. I cannot express how happy I am with Emerson.

Very kind and compassionate as we had to have our precious Jake cremated.On the one year anniversary of Jake”s death,Emerson pet cremation sent us a beautiful poem about Jake,This brought tears to my eyes.I highly recommend this business.

When our fur baby died we had terrible issues with the veterinarian clinic. They were completely insensitive in so many ways. I was really scared that the crematorium they chose to go through would be the same. I was so happy to find out that they weren't. They called me to let me know they had picked up my dog; they called me the day that they were going to cremate him; and they called me to let me know that they had taken him back to the vet for us to pick up. The vet never did. They included so many wonderful things when we picked up his cremains. It was finally like someone cared about our baby as much as we do. I cannot express how happy I am with Emerson.

Tracy was very empathetic and professional throughout the whole process which was very hard for me. She communicated very clearly what was happening and I was never worried about my cat. The stuff she gave us to go with our cat is beautiful.

I called in the evening on a Saturday and they were very nice and sympathetic. To my relief I was able to drop off my cat with them that night. The pricing seemed very reasonable. Would 100% recommend!
