I highly recommend this place to anyone who has recently lost their beloved fur baby.We showed up completely unannounced and heartbroken on a Sunday, and we ended up speaking to Matt on the phone. He told us he had an appointment at 1:15 but if we came back at 1:45 he would be more than happy to see us and accept our sweet Mustang. He was absolutely wonderful, he wasn't pushy at all, he did upsell us on a Christmas ornament with our old man's face on it but I was more than happy to pay the extra $ for as many mementos as I could get.He gave us as much time as we needed to say our final goodbyes to our old man, and then he carried him away. I turned to look one last time before I left the shop and Matt looked at me so reassuringly and said "Don't worry, we're going to take good care of him" and I fell apart, I absolutely lost it because that was the sweetest thing I could possibly hear in that moment.Fast forward to today, a little over a week later and I got the text that Mustang was ready to be picked up and taken home. We were driving from Lubbock back to San Antonio and we originally called and told them we would be there at 5:00. Due to some misadventures on our trip it was actually closer to 7:00 when we got there, and even though they technically close at 6:00 they promised me somebody would stay behind so I could pick my old man up on the way home, and they absolutely kept their word, which not many places will do that these days and that meant the world to me.Our memorial package was even more beautiful in person than in the photos we saw online, right down to the custom (albeit inappropriate) engraving on our candle votive. I wasn't sure they would actually accommodate the request due to the foul language but it is an inside joke among family and friends who knew and loved Mustang and I was absolutely blown away that they had accommodated the request.I can't speak more highly of this place than I plan to go forward, everybody we spoke to in this process was so compassionate and caring and nobody pushed us into buying products we weren't interested in and nobody ever made me regret driving over 2 hours from San Antonio to place my baby in their care and then trust them with his cremation.

My family lost our beloved dog today and was completely unsure of what to do next. We searched online for dog cremation services and found Paws in Paradise Pet Cemetery. From the moment we called, their customer service was exceptional—compassionate, understanding, and responsive. They texted and called us promptly, offering guidance and reassurance during this difficult time. They even arranged to pick up our dog directly from my home, which was such a relief. Their pricing was very reasonable, and the service they provided was professional and caring every step of the way. We are so grateful to Paws in Paradise for helping us through this heartbreaking day. Thank you for your kindness and excellent service.

When the painful day comes when you have to say goodbye to your beloved pet... Paws In Paradise should be your one and only call. This is the 2nd time we had to call upon them. The 1st time was in 2021 for our son's Bearded Dragon named Zero and most recently for our family's beloved dog. We lost our baby in the early evening time and they came during the night after hours giving our son time to make it home from Austin to say his final goodbyes and they were so polite, so understanding and so gentle with our Majesty. When it was time to bring her home they showed the same compassion and did an amazing job with all the keepsakes which came out beautifully. Thank you Paws In Paradise for turning a very difficult day/week a lil easier to handle by giving us peace of mind knowing she was in such caring hands till we brought her home and we could start to heal from our loss. The Sanchez Family

I cannot recommend Paws in Paradise highly enough. Their compassion and service was above and beyond. The carved wooden box that holds my Baby's ashes is gorgeous. The keychain with her paw imprint, the beautifully printed Rainbow Bridge bookmark, and the verse that came with some wildflower seeds to plant were all lovingly delivered by the attendee, who was also the one who picked up Baby and took her for cremation. I chose the individual cremation package and it was very reasonably priced compared to the group cremation my mom had done when her cat crossed the Rainbow Bridge provided by the veterinarian clinic. Definitely will remember this when the service is needed again, although hopefully not for a long time.

I pray you never loose an an angel pet, but if you do, I highly recommend Paws in Paradise Pet Crematory. They came and picked up UT the night he passed at our house, and had a beautiful bed for him to lay in.I’ll be able to keep his ashes with me if we ever move etc. The frame has a lock of his hair, and the keychain has his real paw footprint. They put so much care in love into making sure he was honored and remembered which included an amazing card. What an amazing business! I am so thankful.

One of the hardest things in the world is having to make the decision to put your beloved pet down. However, Dr. Imma not only came to the house, but provided comfort and support to us and our kids during this time. I’m rather late in posting(RIP Tucker 7.8.2023), however, a neighbor just reached out asking who we used and I realized I didn’t write a review like I had intended. Again, thank you Paws in Paradise and Dr. Imma for a beautiful goodbye.

We took our dog Max to Paws in Paradise for his cremation and urn. This place was AMAZING! They were very compassionate and treated our pup with dignity and respect. Max was a big boy and they got him from our vehicle on a cart with a cozy blanket with paws on it. We will tell all of our friends about their services.**update 10 days after drop off**Glad Max is back home on the farm he loved so much! Thank You Paws in Paradise Pet Crematory! The care they provided for Max and our family surpassed our expectations. When it’s time to say goodbye to your furry members of your family, we HIGHLY recommend them! They are compassionate, caring and treated our boy with the utmost respect. “We hope we don’t see them in a long time,” but when our pets time with us is through…. We will turn to them in our time of need. ❤

They are awesome! My pup passed 2 weeks ago due to complications, long sad story. They were able to pick him up and start the process that day. The products they offer are worth it.

I had the best experience with PIP. I called them the same day my baby passed and they drove out to pick him up from my mother’s home, coordinating everything on the phone and even dropped him off with my mama afterwards. I was able to communicate over the phone as I am in Houston and my mother is in Austin. My mom and I would recommend them for any family to use. He came back in a beautiful urn and the most special paw prints were made for us, all with a beautiful price. We thank you for taking care of our Willy.
Terri Lockhart
Our family cannot express the professionalism and care they showed when we needed to let our Sasha cross the Rainbow Bridge. Our dog was in a lot of pain and they were kind enough to schedule us in to have a home euthanasia. They walked us through the process, and even though we understood it didn't make it any easier to say goodbye to our fur baby. They were caring and compassionate every step of the way. I could not be any happier with the products we received. Even though we would rather have our Sasha Bear, this brought our family some peace and tranquility during this time. I would highly recommend Paws in Paradis Pet Crematory when it's time for your fur babies to cross over that Rainbow Bridge.

This was the first time I’d lost a dog. Laurie and her team were absolutely incredible. She gave me the price options and was very understanding when I declined upgraded services. I highly recommended this place.

Hi there, the contact form on the website is not functional. I don’t want to call as it’s an emotional time seeking information to euthanize a pet. It would be nice to have an email option. If there is one, it is not clearly listed. Moving on to other businesses for these reasons.

I can't find the words to express how grateful I am to this company. They were caring and compassionate and made the entire process just a little bit easier. It was the hardest thing I've done in my life and I'm so glad I had them to help me through it. Thank you for the excellent care you provided to my best friend and helping to take her pain away I'm eternally grateful. God bless you all

We have cremated two pets with PIP. They are always the best, most reasonably priced, and help you with all parts. They recommended a vet for an in-home euthanasia. They can help with pet taxidermy. They even deliver directly to your door.Oscar is the best, he met us after a surprise and quick death of our dog on a Saturday. He was 85 pounds and died Saturday afternoon. The vet was closed and he wouldn't fit in our freezer. I was freaking out and they came in huge for me.Oscar also changed addresses last minute when delivering our poor cat who recently passed. He was incredible and practically chased me around Austin to return my baby to me.If I move out of state I'm probably going to come to Paws for all my pet cremation needs. They are just so wonderful!

I wanted to share my experience at Paws in Paradise; it was wonderful. I brought my pet for a euthanasia and cremation service and was greeted by a warm welcome of their staff who were very empathetic. Atmosphere there was very comforting. My daughter and I were able to hold our pet for a last time during the procedure.Vet was excellent and explained the whole procedure from beginning to end. We were allowed to sit with our pet for another 15-20 minutes after and say our goodbyes. Cremation package was beautiful , urn and keepsake were really heartfelt. I will recommend this place to everyone know who has to make a difficult decision to put their beloved pet down . They are really caring folks who understand what it’s like to grief a loss of a pet.

I recently lost my 17 year old Shih-Tzu. Paws in Paradise was amazing, the owner was so kind and understanding. They really made this hard process a bit easier. Very affordable prices and they make gorgeous keepsakes of your beloved pets. 100% recommended!

Paws in Paradise helped make the worst day of our lives so much easier to get through. Their wonderful staff and services helped us say goodbye to our beloved family member in a way that we could be emotionally invested without having to take ourselves out of the moment to deal with anything else. We love that our baby boy got to pass peacefully in his own home and his own bed with all of his toys and loved ones around him. The Memorial Package that arrived when they brought him home a week later was such a beautiful tribute to all of the love and happiness he brought into our lives for the last 10 years. I'm so grateful that Paws in Paradise was there for us recommended by Dr. Genz at Crossroads Veterinarian Hospital in Cove. Thank you all so much for providing your services with love, compassion and kindness.

Micheal was super nice and comforting when I came in to drop off Doddy, He never tried to push things I didn’t want onto me and I deeply appreciate that. The only thing I’ve come across is some damage on the bottom of the urn (that I can live with) and they engraved the wrong birth date on his urn. I called and they’re ordering my replacement, I’ll update my review once it comes in. I also didn’t think they would add a quote since they didn’t ask me for one I thought it would just say his name and his picture so they are kindly removing the quote from the next engraved piece.

From the beginning when I called them to the end they were the most kind compassionate people. The office when I called, the kind gentleman that came to my house and the vet were beyond amazing.

My pet had passed away on the 4th of July and we didn't know what to do since it was 9pm and to late to dig and couldn't keep him inside til Monday. I had used Paws in Paradise before for a cherished pet I had and had a great experience, so I decided I would just start calling around to see if by some chance one of these crematories would actually answer, and I called them first and couldn't of been a better decision. They were closed but did answer and when I explained my situation to them she was more than willing to do whatever it took, even at 930om on the Fourth of July to help our family during this hard time. She arranged for someone to meet us at their location, take our dog, fill out paperwork, gave her my credit card over the phone, and was able to take the dog within the hour of us calling them! They were very compassionate, didn't rush our goodbyes, answered any questions we had, and was a god send in our time of need!! My daughter had tried calling a few places while I was calling them and no one even answered and this was a holiday, Friday night so a weekend, and 930 at night. I'll never know why she decided to answer the phone even though they were closed but we could never ever thank them enough for being there, going the extra mile when they didn't have too and for being so patient, companionate and understanding!!! No one else compares!!! And this is my second pet I have had them cremate for me! There packages are awesome too!!! I tell everyone about them!!!! Thank yall so much paws in paradise employees!!!

We had to put our baby girl down due to cancer and the medication was no longer affective.. the atmosphere was pleasant. Wasn’t a cold room with a table. They have nice music on and gave us time with our little girl and also let us hold her during her time of rest. They explained everything to us and everyone was very caring. When we got her back, she was in a nice box with a certificate and some wildflowers to grow. I feel we made the right choice by going to this location. I feel more content knowing our baby girl went to sleep in a peaceful place, full of caring people than at a vet office.

Our 9 year old hound mix passed unexpectedly and we were devastated. Paws in Paradise handled the details in a caring, compassionate and timely manner. The box and keychain are beautiful tributes to the memory of our beloved dog. It is not a service we hope we will ever need, but we are thankful and appreciative for Paws in Paradise and their caring work.

Lost one of my cats in January and we had to put our 6month old kitty to sleep last night. We took both to Paws in Paradise. They will treat your lost fur baby with the upmost respect. You also are not charged an arm and a leg to cremate or bury your baby❤️🩹 I would give this place a million stars if I could. I forgot the lady’s name but she is the sweetest lady ever and let us say goodbye to our kitty for the last time.

We had used a pet crematory service through our vet in the past, but was so glad I found Paws In Paradise. They were absolutely so nice and Steven helped out so much arranging the pick up and drop off. This helped us out greatly. As far as the care and concern given to our pet when she returned home, it was totally astounding - such a beautifully nice, carved box with nameplate, beautiful bag and one of the most wonderful surprises - a keychain with an image of our dear kitty's paw print. So compassionate and caring in the presentation and delivery once your pet comes home. Unfortunately, I know I will need services such as this again in the future, as we are pet lovers, and would never think of going anywhere else. Highly recommended and thank you so much for treating a very difficult time with such compassion.

Fortunately. I did not have to put my girl to sleep. She passed at home. The staff were so empathetic and kind from my initial calls to get her picked up to the very end. Oscar was so kind he was so gentle with my baby and even gave us time to say final goodbyes am before he took her away. I’m so grateful I found them. And the pricing is beyond reasonable. Considering the quotes o got from other places. I will recommend them to anyone. They are truly amazing

At the end of April 2023, it was time to say goodbye to my 16 year old pup. It was devastating. I came across paws in paradise and called them on a Thursday. My old lady had rapidly declined in two days. I had a wedding in Houston to attend on Saturday and the ladies at Paws in paradise worked with me to get a vet out to my home Friday evening. It was peaceful and a great experience, for what it was. I wish I remembered the vets name. She made an impact on me. She had finished all of her work at the clinic and made time to come from harker heights to temple at 730pm, a day before she was supposed to leave town too. She sat with us on the back porch and took her time with my Lily girl. We were able to say goodbye to Lily at home, on a warm sunny day in a relaxed loving way. The vet allowed us however much time we needed to say our goodbyes. I held and loved my girl a little while longer for the last time. When ready, they presented a basket I was able to lay lily in and they took her to their truck. I highly recommend this company. I cannot say anything but praise for them.

We had a house fire on Thanksgiving. Lost 8 dogs. 5 being 1 month old puppies. The lady that answered the phone helped me get through the process. My son dropped off the dogs and I picked them up today. I genuinely appreciate everything they did for us. They are so caring and I truly appreciate them. They understand that these aren’t just animals to us. They are our kids, our family. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.

Our English bulldog was elderly, blind, and losing control of his legs. We decided it was time to let him go. Paws in paradise is highly recommended and I do believe in most instances this goes smoother. The lady I talked to by phone was calm, let me cry, and was patient with me. So thank you. However past you the experience was not good.Because I needed help last minute and on a weekend, a vet from Austin came to Killeen to help ($335). He likes paid in cash or cashapp if you must ..and I wasn't told this prior to his arrival. He agreed, somewhat reluctantly, to PayPal. Cashapp was not an option and I had no cash, this was not how our introduction should have started. IHe kind of huffed that I didn't know cash was preferred, I should have dismissed him then.He had difficulty locating a vein in Bentley, this had never been an issue prior and wasn't sick in a way that he would have been dehydrated, he was still drinking well. The first dose wasn't enough to calm my dog, he became upset and moving. I fed him peanut butter to help distract him. In humans when we get the dose wrong people experience a panic drive...and I saw that for my Bentley. He tried to give more ..again difficulty finding his vein. Finally Bentley calmed. It was time for the last injection and he couldn't find Bentley's vein. He kept trying to roll a fat brachycephalic dog onto his back and they don't breathe well that way...so even while calm this wasn't working for Bentley and upset him. Maybe half of the last injection was in , but I could see most of it was injected into the tissue of his back leg...not a vein...but Bentley passed. I could tell the way Bentley sort of settled he was gone, but the vet kept trying to inject. Finally he gave up, listened to Bentley, and pronounced Bentley. After the mess up with the first injection I almost called it quits...but I knew doses that high has consequences and it was Bentley's time. Although uncomfortable for him and I this was still probably better than continuing to live in pain. However...this is not the peaceful experience I was sold...and this is not the experience any dog mom should have.Bentley was cremated, they actually did this faster than projected. ($155 for cremation). He came in a beautiful box. I didn't find the keychain comforting. It doesn't look like Bentley, and I suppose it's because it's a picture of his paw that is then engraved ..it looks like any generic paw. My last dog cremated had a casting of her paw print, which was much more comforting and true to her than this.I hope to never need the services again, if I do it won't be paws in paradise.

Highly recommend Paw in Paradise ❤️🐾My husband’s Belgian Malinois (Jazzie) passed away last year in September 😢 and my brother (who lives in Cali) found Paw In Paradise online. My husband was too heartbroken that my brother took care of everything. My husband said the staff was very friendly, caring, patient, and understanding because my daughter’s dog (Black mountain cur mix Jaxen) and they gave him a moment with Jazzie before they took Jazzie away. This year January, my daughter’s dog Jaxen passed away shortly after Jazzie 😢 and I had to call Paw in Paradise. The female staff was very friendly, patient, informative, and understanding towards my daughter. 😢

We came in late on a Saturday and were greeted by Oscar. I don't think he could be a more pleasant person. He treated our princess as I'm sure he would have his own. We left feeling our baby was in good hands. Aside from Oscar, pricing seemed very reasonable. Any extras were priced decently as well.Thank you so much for your empathy.

Had my Guinea pig cremated. Had him only a month. He was a surrender at the pet store. It made me happy to get a keychain with his footprint and the box that holds the ashes is beautiful! Very affordable too! Will definitely bring my pets here when the time comes. Employee was very nice.

My elderly father who lives in a rural area needed his elderly, 130-pound Great Pyrenees euthanized. Paws In Paradise were the only agency that could get a vet out ASAP. No one else serviced the area. The staff at Paws In Paradise were gentle, compassionate and kind while we worked through our indecisions. Dr Imma was so kind and caring to my father. She understood how hard it was for an 89 year old man to lose his 14-year companion. She proceeded slowly and professionally and explained the process along the way. And all of this occurred on a holiday, July 4th, 2023. I would most definitely recommend Paws In Paradise to handle your pets end of life care. I can't imagine a more professional, compassionate team to walk beside me and support me and my father in one of our most vulnerable states.

Our pet had just passed the day before taking her to Paws in Paradise and when we were arranging her box and other items for her cremation the lady kept pushing us to buy more and more even though my family and I were still in mourning. Truly a frustrating experience and not something I would want other grieving pet parents to go through.

I cannot recommend this place enough. They treated us and our almost 14 year old husky with respect and compassion. Everyone involved in this process was so understanding and helpful. Being able to have our dog comfortable in his safe space at home meant the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I lost my old man today, my 15 year old chihuahua Jack. Paws in Paradise were kind enough to come to my home, and pick him up. They respectfully placed him in a basket with a blanket, and informed me of a keychain with his paw print that they’ll be making and sending to me. Very empathetic and considerate. I recommend them to anyone who’s lost their best friend !

I had to say goodbye to my best friend after eighteen of the most wonderful years together. It wasn't planned, she went from a ball of energy everyday to having two of the most terrible days, and I knew it was time, having promised her long ago to never let her suffer. I called at least ten vets before I found one who could get us in immediately (it was a Saturday around 4 pm), and at that point the cost of the procedure didn't matter, so long as I could end her obvious pain. At the vet they gave options, and to have her cremated after euthanasia (with other animals, no keepsakes) was $500. If you wanted a solo cremation it was closer to $700. I couldn't afford this. So I opted for a home burial. I started digging, and then I hit the WWW in hopes of finding a better way. Then I found Paws in Paradise. They happened to be the most affordable, and offered to pick my baby up, which was necessary as I am bus bound. Twenty minutes after my initial phone inquiry Oscar reached out to me expressing his condolences, and letting me know he was on his way, two hours before his shift started, and he was there within the hour. The vet sent her home in a cold, impersonal cardboard box. He insisted on carrying her out with dignity, in a little basket and covered with soft blankets. I knew she was in good hands. Less than two weeks later he brought her back to me in a beautiful carved wooden box, with a keychain etched with her own pawprint (I would know those little pad shapes anywhere). From beginning to end, PiP made this horrific time in my life a little easier, and helped bring me a sense of peace and closure. I couldn't give anyone higher commendations than that.

We lost our kitty on Christmas Eve, while on travel to Texas. It was unexpected and I was a mess. Laurie at Paws in Paradise was so compassionate and kind. They were able to accommodate our travel schedule even during the holidays. While I hope that no one needs this service, if you do, I can't recommend Paws in Paradise any more highly. Thank you for your kindness.

I talked to Lsurie she was kind. I chose to have them come to my house and put my baby to sleep. I was so upset the way the vet came in and immediately got paper and pen out and sign. And then got the sedative out to give her I said can I have some time with her she said I have another appointment. I was so upset as soon as she gave her the sedative my baby was upset and she told me not to pet her. Then she said I need to give her more she isn't going under fast enough. So insensitive. She was in a rush. I just wanted a little more time to love her.It is breaking my heart the way the vet handled it. 225.00 dollars and she couldn't give you a few minutes. Sad beyond belief. Paws to Paradise cares. The vet . About the money. Its been 6 months and I am still grieving that experience. It was horrible I still cry everyday how that vet treated my baby. It's been a year and a half. I am still having a hard time with what happened that day. It was horrible. After 4 yrs a I am still traumatized for how they treated my baby.

Our beloved cat Noodle lost her battle with her illnesses in February. In the midst of our grief, arrangements still had to be made. The administrators at Paws In Paradise were the soul of discretion, and made the process run quite smoothly. Their memorial package was beyond lovely; we will treasure these keepsakes forever! They also offer in-home euthanasia for families who need it, and they will come to you for pickup of your loved one after their passing as well. The ease they lent to this painful time was priceless. I can't thank them enough for everything they've done!

We had to put our pup Nala of 15 years down this past Monday. It was a very hard but humane decision. We contacted Paws in Paradise because we wanted it to be done in the comfort of our home and her bed. They helped coordinate everything. It was a very smooth process. When Monday came the vet came into our home and explained the process as he went along. He assured us this was the right decision. Oscar from Pets in Paradise was patiently waiting outside in his vehicle. When the process was over they showed themselves out and we were left to have a few moments with our pup. We then motioned for Oscar that he could come inside to retrieve our Nala. He brought in a pet cot with straps and a blanket. He carefully picked up our pet and placed her within the blanket and onto the cot. He was so kind and compassionate. After our baby was taken to the vehicle he then gave us a few more moments with her. It was never rushed and we appreciated the love and kindness he showed our dog and us as well with his words and patience. He then took her to be buried, at peace and no longer in pain but running free with the rest of the fur babies just over Rainbow Bridge. This was a most difficult decision and time. I am thankful we chose to do it the way we did. Our baby passed peacefully surrounded by love in the comfort of her own home and bed instead of an unfamiliar or an ALL TOO familiar setting of a vets office on a cold table. This was the right choice for us and thankful that it is even offered. We cannot recommend them enough if you find yourself in our position. Do not hesitate contacting Paws in Paradise.

I just picked up my buddy's remains and wanted to write while it is still fresh. Paws In Paradise were very caring and professional. My dog passed on Sunday and I was able to schedule on that day to have his remains moved to their facilities. The lady was very patient with me as this was my first time through the process and I was still emotional.Cremation was done in a timely manner and I was notified yesterday that I would be able to pick up. The lady who handed me the remains (different person) was also very caring and professional. On pickup, they were with someone who had just lost their pet and handled my situation without making neither of us feel less important. I really respect that. They are also affordable but even if there are ones more affordable I would choose them again because of the excellent experience.I highly recommend Paws in Paradise.

I’m am so eternally grateful for this woman and how she handled my difficult time. She was completely amazing. This was a very very hard day for me and my family and by the time I left paws in paradise she had lifted so much off my shoulders. I felt completely comfortable handing over my precious baby Blue Cheese. My kids were the car with Daddy so it was just me that went in and we only talked for a short time but in that time she made me feel like family. She offered as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. She allowed me to share our story and talk about my baby. She never once pushed a sale or different packages. I told her which one I had chosen and that was it. I am going 100 percent happy with choosing paws in paradise for our cremation services. I highly highly recommend and will definitely share my experience to those who need these services. This is a hard thing and I hope we don’t have to go through it any time soon but if we do this is the place to be. This is the last thing anyone wants to have to go with their fur baby but she made the process so much easier for us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

100/10. I lost my childhood cat of 20 years about a year ago when Paws in Paradise agreed to help us make the decision. It's been a year and I still boast about how their compassion and professionalism really helped us through this devastating time.We are in Lago Vista and every single local Austin/Leander vet refused to see us because of the drive but Paws in Paradise came to the rescue with their at-home services. We are so grateful for their knowledge, empathy and love.Thank you for mourning with us PIP.

I can't recommend these wonderful people enough! They came to our home and made our girl's passing peaceful. It was a nice experience at a difficult time. We were pretty distraught and they handled everything beautifully. When we got our girl back, the box and keepsakes have made a lovely memorial shelf for our beloved Harley. If you have to make the tough decision, they will be there and make it just a bit easier.

We had a freak day and two of our babies passed on the same day. Paws In Paradise was so kind, gentle and loving. So respectful and comforting. We couldn't have asked for a better interaction. We also just got our babies home in time for Thanksgiving! So grateful and highly recommended!

Our beloved cat died suddenly and we didn’t have many options. Her care was beyond what was expected and treated us as if we were family. The visit was so incredibly sweet and wonderful for our fur baby. I highly recommend. Exceeds my expectations and I cannot say enough about how wonderful the experience was. So glad I found Paws in Paradise. Thank you from the bottom of my family’s heart.

They are Angels!!! Our Ol Seven Man was a 14 year old Border Collie that couldn't hardly get up, much less loading up in a vehicle. Would have been very hard on him and more stressful! We we're able to feed him his favorites....2 Big Ribs (not just bones either), a Dinner Roll, and Blue Bell Ice Cream for his final meal! Just like a king, which ye deserved! Then the Vet and her assistant arrived and were so very kind! Did not rush us, or Seven, they even cried with us....just hard, he was so ready and he went so peacefully and easy...we knew it was the right time! They took him and cremated him and then even delivered him back in a beautiful, engraved box!Highly recommend them, they are providing such a loving, kind, humane and awesome service! At a very decent price too. It made our Sweet Seven's final day PERFECT!Thank y'all and God bless each of you at Paws in Paradise!Seven's beloved family!

Paws in Paradise was a Godsend. My precious left us on October 30th. I was beside myself my sister said for me to look through the internet for a crematory that picked up at home. I tried but through my crying eyes I couldn't see anything so she said she'd do it. She text me and said I found the perfect place Mr. Oscar was so caring and understanding. He came the same day to pick up my baby. He was so loving and handled her as if she was his own.He allowed me time to let her go. The prices are so reasonable and the items that came with the package were beautiful. I got her back home so fast. All I can say is give your beloved ones to PawsinParadise because it is a loving and caring business. I recommend them highly. Thank you for everything you did for me and my baby.

Let's all be honest. It really sucks when we have to use a service that these guys offer. And for my family and I it really sucked. My boy went down hill out of no where and quickly. He always hated the vet and I had always promised him it wouldn't end at the vet. But when the day came, I had no notice. These guys are literally the only service that would come to our home. So I called, hoping for the best and that I could keep my promise to my boy. They were so incredibly kind. They all acted so swiftly and managed to squeeze us in. Everyone was very respectful, made sure we knew what was going to happen and helped us pick out the most beautiful urn, (my boy always liked smelling the flowers) They made sure that everything happened on our terms and where my boy wanted to be.When it came time for my boy to come home they were right on time, they were still so kind when they dropped him off. These guys are worth every penny, and when the time sadly comes again, they will be my first call.Thank you everyone here, for your kind words, actions and taking care of my boy like your own.

I can't express my gratitude to Victoria and the doctor. I had my Sasha for 13 years (great Dane) and she was not just a my family, she was my best friend. When I reached out to paws in paradise they were very understanding. They scheduled my home visit and were on time. When they arrived to my residence they explained the entire process so I wouldn't be surprised about anything. As my Sasha took her last breath, the doctor was right there with me and she also felt the pain of losing my friend which showed me she had a good heart ( God bless you ma'am). I can not thank them enough for helping me through this process, it did make it easier on myself and my family.

I had to unfortunately use this service in saying goodbye to my best friend, but fortunately, it was really outstanding service, especially on Oscar's part! I had to call in late on a Sunday evening for information, planning and the pick up of my dog all at once and he met us at the vet's office at 8p.m., very calm, patient and understanding. I felt bad to have to request service so last minute, but it couldn't be helped and I was grateful for his help and patience throughout. He deserves a raise! My only gripe would be that I felt a bit duped since the candle and stand was not included in the package I brought. Its additional cost.. Wish that was clearly stated somewhere. So, just a heads up. But I'll still definitely recommend their service.

I cannot say enough about paws in paradise, and Laurie. Truly compassionate and kind. Went out of their way for me and my husband. Especially for me. I am an epileptic, and unable to drive and they delivered my sadies memorial package items to me, after my husband left on another business trip. The kindness and empathy I received was more than I could have ever imagined. And, the great care that was taken for my Sadie, my almost 18 year old black lab. Thank you so much for everything, I could never repay all you have done for me. Bless you and the good people who helped us so much.

Let's face it , noone wants to have to use the service they provide, but I'm glad for this company. My 13 year old soul companion suddenly out of nowhere started going downhill and stopped eating. We always knew if that big teddy bear of a dog ever stopped eating that it would be the end. We got a bad prognosis when we went to the vet and he didn't respond to treatment. This is the only place that I found that would come to my home . I didn't want my Bubbas last memory to be at the vets office. Everyone here is so sweet and caring, Professional and patient. I am greatful that they provide the service they do . To come to your home and make your family member pass with dignity in their own home with their family. Everything was top notch and they even delivered him back to me. They moved things around even because my boy was suffering, to fit us in . The memorial items are also nice and good quality. The gentleman who came with the vet and delivered my boy back to me was super sweet and even gave me the ink prints of my boys paw because I asked for them for a tattoo . Thank you paws in paradise for helping in this difficult and sad time.

I had to put my fur baby down and was really struggling ..i called and the woman on the phone was beyond amazing as i was struggling not to cry..she helped me to organize and figure out my needs.Very sweet and understanding. Prices are clear and up front.. Day of..she not only talked to me but showed genuine interest in my baby and giving me my moment with him..and i felt very good about her taking over for me..I had a last minute request and they were happy to try and help me get what i needed. Updated as promised.. But the main reason for my review.. She followed up with me 2 weeks after and delivered my keychain and a special moment that she shared with my baby in person...i really needed that closure..it wasnt expected or requested but definitely was appreciated more then i could ever express in words. My babys last moments were with someone who comforted him and made him happy and feeling like a good boy! not worried about my well being or sadness. Its a hard time no matter what and this service is not going to make it any easier..but hopefully this review will help the next person with knowing the care put into your pets last moments is genuine!

These people are amazing I cannot speak kindly enough about them. I lost my girl after 9 years and was complete mush when I showed up to there office as she was arriving from the vet the atmosphere was very relaxing and they seemed to genuinely really care and understand this was not just a dog to me but a cherished family member I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond and taking care of my fat mama I will always be grateful for these people. Thank you Paws in Paradise your empathy and kindness is appreciated more than yall could ever even begin to know.Always,MarieRoxxi's mama

When I reached out to Laurie and staff from Paws and Paradise, I was very saddened by the loss of my dog and best friend.Laurie was very sympathetic and guided me throughout the entire cremation process. Oscar was very professional and compassionate when returning back with the cremation package. I could tell he cares very much for animals and I knew my dog was in great hands during his descent to the afterlife.I highly recommend Laurie, Oscar and all the staff at Paws in Paradise, when it’s time to say goodbye to your beloved companion.

I have had one Furbaby put down at home with Paws of Paradise. It was so much better for my baby than him having to go on a steel slab at the Vet's office. I had another 14 year old pass away at home on a Sunday and they came and picked her up, giving me time to spend with her before they left, no rushing. They are so compassionate and caring. I would recommend them to anyone I know with pets.

When my 13 year-old cat became too ill to go on, I called Paws in Paradise after seeing their website. Oscar at Paws was very helpful on the phone and reached out to Dr. Judy to come help us with her final day. It was a tough illness for my cat and the idea of putting her to sleep at home felt so much better than a car ride to the vet for both the cat and for us. Oscar and Judy could not have been more helpful or respectful. They let us know what to expect and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. About a week later, they delivered Corsha's ashes in a nice box along with a laser engraving of her paw. On top of the kind and caring service, they were also very reasonably priced even though they were travelling from Killeen. I highly recommend them.

Paws in Paradise was there for us, at our most heartbreaking time. When we lost our young Shih Tzu due to an underlying health issue, I was lost and so upset trying to make the decisions of how to remember our "Chloe".the compassionate staff walked me through every step, and listened to the things that mattered the most to me. I feel everyone at Paws in Paradise went above and beyond to make this time a little easier for us.the selection of products to memorialize lost pets is beautiful. I would definitely use their services again.

Very professional and went above and beyond to help me and my family. They came out to our house after hours and were so kind and helpful in taking our frenchie for cremation. Will use everytime in the future!

The lady who scheduled everything was nice, but she gave misinformation about the pricing. So the day my boy went to Heaven, I was on the phone going back and forth about pricing, despite it being clearly written on the receipt and having been told the same amount when I scheduled. The lady who picked him up was the one who told me the price was inaccurate, and she was not pleased. She told me they would either put him down but keep him until I pay, or he would essentially be on a waiting list. I went into a panic because the thought of my baby being in some freezer or whatever, was too much to handle. They ultimately gave me the quoted price, but I couldn't process my thoughts and grieve because the day was spent wasting time on the phone. The lady who came to my house to pick up my boy was rude and callous. I was told she was with some company they contract with. She asked about the symptoms leading to my decision, and she made me feel guilty for waiting too long. She told me I should have done it a long time ago. Little did she know, his decline was very rapid, occurring within a few days. Even if someone waited too long, who is she to try and guilt during such a sensitive moment?! My goodbye to my boy was also rushed and therefore marred by this woman.Furthermore, I was not allowed to be with my baby when he crossed over "because of Covid". I begged to at least be on the phone so he could hear my voice as he crossed over. I had to wait for approval, which means my boy had to wait in pain while they decided. It was December 2021 and Covid rules were relaxed enough to allow me to be there. I could have worn a mask. I could have watched from another room. Something....I wasn't able to be there when he died, but I was able to pick up his ashes...no mask required. I still feel guilty that my boy gave me 11 AMAZING years filled with love, yet I wasn't there for him when he needed me most. I feel so robbed and guilty about how everything happened 😞The package items came out nicely and the lady who gave me the incorrect pricing remained kind, which is why I gave two stars. But that lady who came to my house would receive zero stars. My mind keeps wondering if he was treated with love and care, and I can't confidently say that he was. I feel like I failed my boy. He deserved a better homegoing 💔

First I lost My Girl (Muneca). She and I were companions to each other for 14 wonderful years. Then I lost two more of my Babies Suddenly.Paws in Paradise people were patient, professional, and very supportive during my visit and throughout the processes and to the end.Thank you Paws in Paradise for everything💞❣

Exceptional service for our special boy. He and our family were treated so special. I'm beyond satisfied with the experience. Our hearts are broken and she helped make a vulnerable time easier knowing our cat boy would be taken care of with love and dignity. Thank you so much for the compassion and the gifts. She paid extra attention to my grieving 8 year old.

They are wonderful and compassionate in your time of need. I had to say goodbye to my cat of 14 years on Saturday and they were right there helping me all the way through. This is the second time I’ve used them and both times they made me feel like they actually cared for my animal. I can’t thank the ladies there enough for everything they did.

Caring and made a very difficult situation, less difficult! Great staff!!!!! Highly recommend for value as well as the care of you passed love one! The drive from Austin was well worth it!!!! No pushy sales pitch! They sit down with you in an living room atmosphere, not an over the counter situation like most crematory. They will come to your home: in home euthanasia and/or pick up. Vet clinic pick up as well.Basic Package included beautiful carved box with name plate, key chain, personalized picture keep sake, certificate, seeds and Rainbow Bridge Bookmark all packaged with care! Less than $200

Laurie at paws in paradise went above and beyond my expectations to make sure our fur baby was taken care of. She gave my 7 year old a plant to plant in memory of Munch, and treated us great as I sat and cried in the room. She opened up just for me to come pick up my baby today, and didn't shove me out the door, she sat and talked to me until I was ready to go. Hope to never have to use them again, but definitley would if I have to. Superior experience, Laurie treats you like family....I will spread the word to anyone who may need it

This rating is not for Paws in Paradise. Laurie and Oscar were wonderful in the way that they handled our baby. The vet that came to our house, Dr. Black, was in a hurry and totally lacked empathy. She even told my grieving wife not to pet our baby after she had given her the sedative because she said it would 'delay the process' and she had another appointment. She does not need to be in this business if it is all about the time and money. Made a horrible situation all the more traumatic...can't get it out of my mind. My wife is so distraught that she couldn't pet our baby in her last moments of consciousness.

Paws in Paradise was not only gracious when our kitten, Finn, passed away suddenly due to illness, they acted quickly and professionally with our care package. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything -- they let me know the pricing of each item before I added it to my order -- and I was able to mourn without feeling like I was taking up the room. I will be forever grateful to Victoria and those at Paws in Paradise. Finn will rest on our mantle with us forever now.Thank y'all again so much! We appreciate you.

Paws in Paradise helped us ease into letting go of our hound with their very professional, and even more so personal tact. Oscar is an absolute legend and very kind and understanding when I handed over Duke to him before driving off. When we got him back, everything was beautiful, the box with his remains, the keychain, the cards, you name it. Thank you for helping get him back home!

About 2 weeks ago my Fiance lost her Khia. She called paws in Paradise. The gentleman who came took care of everything that had to do with Khia. They have took care of everything. They kept in contact with me, until it was time to bring Khia home. I would recommend them to anyone at any time. They apologized to my Fiance and myself for our loss. Excellent help and service

We recently had to say goodbye to our 15 year old dog. She was our baby since we picked her up at 8 weeks old. She was small but and adventurer with a big heart. This was the hardest heartbreaking thing we ever had to do. The whole process with Paws in Paradise was simply wonderful flawless and that took a huge burden off of us. Thanks to PiP we were set up with Dr Black and were allowed to let her pass in the comfort of our home, literally in my arms. Which meant the world to us. Dr Black was so wonderful and caring, she gave us all the time we needed to say good bye, she even cried with us. After she was placed in a basket full of blankets and covered with one from a PiP assistant before taking her. He as well was very respectful and caring towards us and our baby. We prearranged everything with the lady at PiP (my apologies I am bad with names), she was beyond personable, patient and caring during this hard time, even when I changed my mind on her urn the last minute. From our first call to the last, there was never a lack of communication. One thing she doesn’t know. She called me only a week later, Friday afternoon, that I could come and pick her up. I couldn’t get there until later, short before closing, but she didn’t want me to have to wait until after the weekend. That day was my birthday, like she knew it would be very special to have her back that day, but she didn’t know. For me my heart was whole on that day, knowing she was back at home! Her urn turned out beautifully! I can’t thank everyone enough from Paws in Paradise! We feel blessed to have found you! You really are some special people!

I want to thank you for the wonderful bag of mementos that came home with my dog Boots urn . That was one special dog and I am blessed that Animal Medical Care in Temple offered your services for us. Thank you for caring and taking the extra steps for pet owners like myself feel closure that ends in a beautiful way.

Oscar eased my fears when I had to let mySweet baby girl cross the rainbow bridge. He handled himself with empathy, patience and care as I was going through one of the hardest moments in my life.He didn't rush me and when I was done saying my goodbyes he told me to leave the office 1st... he was absolutely right because I would have lost it seeing him driving away with my baby. The way he handled her after she passed put my heart at ease knowing that she was in good hands.

The Dr that came to our home and put our beloved 14 yr old dog to sleep. He and the staff were so respectful, kind, and was wonderful. They made a very hard decision easier and made us feel at ease.Positive Responsiveness, Professionalism …More

One of the hardest things I've ever had to do was put down my pup. They guided me through the process of cremation and the memorial items. They are affordable and they are empathetic to the situation. I would recommend this company to anyone. They work with vet partners to meet your needs. They are so nice! Thank you to the team for taking care of us.

They came through for my family when their services were needed and all were very considerate and thoughtful during such a difficult time. I will always appreciate that.

Would recommend to anyone who’s lost a fur baby! Oscar was very gracious and excellent through the entire process. We left knowing that our fur baby was in good hands.

On July 28th at 530 p.m. I made one of the hardest phone calls I have ever made in my life. All I can say is that Lori and her team, in all their effort, made this experience as manageable as it can be expected. Dr. Imna was amazing, considering the situation. All of this is so hard to put into words, all I can say, is I am so appreciative of how considerate and caring each and everyone of you are. Thank you for everything y'all do.

In June, 2016, my babygirl Jewels passed away. I raised her since she was a puppy, and her passing away was the most heart wrenching thing in the world. Thankfully Paws In Paradise were willing to allow us to do a down payment on her cremation, and allowed us to pay the rest a week later. Today, February 20, 2018, my mouse Louise passed away. Tomorrow, when they are open, I plan to have him cremated as well. I trust no other place with my babies.

I would just like to start off by saying thank you so much for helping me during my sad time. I lost one of furbabies sudden and late at night may I add, I live in Dallas googled all place near me, made phone calls and not one was open to help me out. I was a wreck and the fact that Paws in Paradise even answered my call was astonishing. Victoria who just made me feel so comfortable I knew my baby was going to be in good hands so I drove from Dallas to Killeen arrived at midnight and Victoria was there to help me say my goodbyes at peace even that late. It was worth the drive to me. Thank you so much team and especially Victoria to help me during my sad time of losing one of my babies. It takes about 10 days but I made a mistake on his birthday at first and they were still able and willing to help by fixing my mistake on the memory keychains and his picture plaque. I have 4 cats so I mixed it up so thank you so much again. I hope I don't see you guys for a long long time from now but when the time comes because of your comfort Victoria I'll be using your services again. Thank you

I recently lost a dog, and Laurie took such great care of me. She has a heart of gold, and was there each step of the way in my grieving process. The people who helped us were brilliant! They care so much! The lady who helped us, is so kind and understanding. She is a sweetheart. They put so much care and support, into the package that you receive for your loved one. She takes her time to explain everything clearly, so that you can find the memorial package for you and get everything you need.I love all that she has done for us. She is a sweet, kind lady, that I'll never forget. :) ☺

Paws in Paradise took care of the remains for my Skeeter, and friend's dog, Frost. They are very respectful and provide wonderful services beyond the cremation. They understand the many facets of grief and that different people handle their friend's passing differently. An absolutely wonderful service. Thank you, Laurie and staff.

The place smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, and the white haired woman was very rude and insensitive. She was very pushy about the items in the store as well. She was uninterested in my baby's story and talked over me instead of really listening. The younger woman was very nice and sympathetic with my brokenness. I did make the decision to bring my baby to another crematorium, though. I just could not risk her body being treated rough or without dignity.

They have only been the best at what they do!!! I have lost 2 dogs and bought both of them to them only know that they do have care for my sweet babies. 😢😢😢 Thank you for taking care of my Winston and Zoey. We loved them both so very much and you helped me get them towards the rainbow. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Paws in Paradise is a great buisness and the owner is a very understanding woman when it comes to hard times as she helped me out in the biggest of ways. If you are financially struggling at all she will work with you to help you out. She is as much as a genuine person that you can find around here in texas and she tries her best to comfort you and your family in the worst of times. If I could give her a higher rating than 5 stars i would!

Thank you
