When my dumbo rat honey girl passed away in a split second I had a realization I couldn't burry her...or my other two girls and I looked around everywhere to find a compassionate place where I felt my girls would be in good hands, they are so awesome here and I'm having to sadly head back this morning for a rescue rat who I dearly loved, I will be coming back whenever I need their services they are so kind and no matter how emotional I was they were so sweet to me. They explain everything really well and the prices are really fair too.

This is the place with the most compassionate people I have met. Many people don’t realize that during the hardest, most out of control moment during your life when you’ve lost your pet and want to keep them forever, there are people who go above and beyond to take care of that burden with you and help your pet be cherished and memorized for years to come. With small exotic pets like my pet rats, they don’t have as much ashes produced, and can’t be cremated the way dogs and people can. This amazing woman goes up there herself and picks the ashes for my rats and I got the most I could from them because of her. She talked so soothingly, and was caring and loving for my pet rats that other strangers have never shown before. I had people ask why I kept my rats ashes and it was because this lady made it possible. When others don’t accept such small pets, this place cares for them.

Thank you very much for everything! We were very sad and heart-broken after our puppy passed. When I arrived Tommy made me feel welcome and comfortable. We were very happy, we chose the right place to cremate our little puppy. Words can't express our gratitude.

My sweet boy of 9 years passed New Year’s Day. I originally planned on taking my boy in to the vet to pass peacefully and they would also handle the cremation. But he passed before our appointment date. Sobbing I called my vet who told me they would be open New Year’s Day, but no one answered. My friend googled a couple places close to me and I decided to go with Houston Pet Cremation. Cynthia answered the phone when I called the after hours number and she explained everything to me from price to when I will get my little buddy back. She later came and picked up my boy and even though I had been sobbing before she arrived, for some reason she just put me at ease. I knew when I saw her, that my baby would be in good hands. She delivered my Red to my home today and I must say they did a beautiful job. The urn exceeded my expectations and the card was a beautiful touch. I am so grateful for this place and for Cynthia. Thank you so much for what you do. ❤️

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Last week when I took them my dog, she had just passed away an hour before and I was distraught. Joann was so nice and patient. She sat with me, consoling me and shared a beautiful prayer. I never felt rushed and she was so accommodating, as my daughter and I were splitting the payment. Yesterday when I went to pick her up, it was just as wonderful of an experience. Michael was very friendly and again, there was no rush for me to leave, even though I got there fifteen minutes before closing. The urn is beautiful, as is the ceramic footprint. It is a beautiful tribute to an animal that was such an important part of my family for so long. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who is looking for a place that will take great care of your pet in your time of need.

I couldn't have trusted our fur baby in better hands other then theirs . Upon contact to drop off and to pick up they where such kind loving people here ,God bless them for the kindred service offered . I recommend 100% I hope everyone has such an easy and loving experience here as we did . Thank you all so much for making such a hard stage in grief go along more gently.

Extremely satisfied with the service and results for our beloved Molly. I cannot recommend them enough for the compassion and service we recieved. You can spend more at other places, but i don't know why. The quality of the products are exactly as i expected and i will take comfort in using their services again in the future.

Joann was very nice and understanding! This was a tough time kissing my dog and she made me feel like family. They are very professional here. Cheapest place around! I would definitely recommend. 10/10 stars!

I really wanted to like this place. The lady I dealt with when I dropped off my pet's remains was the sweetest lady on earth. She was so kind and understanding and helped me so much that day when I really needed help. I was and still am a complete basket case over this loss. God bless her for her kindness, empathy and compassion that she shows to people. She is a gem and most likely why this place is still in business. The people, who I believe are the owners, come off as very rude and referred to my baby as an "it". They seemed very cold and offered no type of condolences whatsoever as I stood sobbing in their lobby. I wasn't expecting grief counseling but instead of trying to avoid me it would have been nice to hear something along the lines of "I understand". The pick up went just as miserable. I should have stayed and went in the private room while the cremation was taking place. If anyone I know loses a pet I will not recommend them. They need to step up their skills at consoling people and just customer service in general. If they can't manage that or just simply don't want to then they need to step aside when a customer comes in and let that lady run their business because she was truly a lifesaver that day.

My mom and I were looking for a place to care for our dog after she passed. We called around to a ton of places who all seemed very careless and on top of that they were all expensive. I ended up calling the staff here and the gentleman on the phone was very careful in tending to our needs and explained pricing, procedures and everything perfectly. After calling some places last week and not satisfied with their service, I decided to call this business. Marc picked up and was very patient and helped make the whole process be smooth. He mentioned several times how sorry he was for our loss which made him stand out from everyone else because no other business did that. I highly recommend this business!

Wow! If I could give 10 stars I would! Joann is the most caring and amazing person I am so grateful that I had my dog’s cremation services done here. The way she cared for me and my children was so gracious and she was such an angel to me! I would recommend to anyone and everyone to bring your beloved pet here they will treat you like family and they will deliver the peace you need during this hard time. Ms. Joanne and Mr. Tommy made me feel like my fur baby was just as important to them as she was to me. Ms. Joanne remembered everything she offered and then some. She offered me a snip of my cat’s hair, (I would have asked for it but I was so distraught). My Blanca was predominantly white in color but she had black as an accent. Ms. Joanne was so thoughtful in cutting a piece of all white hair and a piece where the black and white mixed. It might not seem much but it meant the world to me. Mr. Tommy was so considerate in offering his condolences and that made me feel validated, like it’s ok to be heartbroken when losing a pet. The ending result was beautiful and my fat girl is with me back home. Great service, great price and exquisite customer service.

So I thought I wrote my review for this place months ago but I guess that's how grieving works, you forget things. These guys are amazing. They were so helpful and so caring and they did a wonderful job with the cremation and preserving my cat's paw print on a ceramic tile. It's never easy losing a pet but they made the process so simple and did a wonderful job and never pushed a sale or anything on us. They also offer a pet cemetery as well.

I just want to thank you for taking such great care of my parents after their dog Justice passed away. My parents couldn't express how wonderful your service was and it truly made me feel better that they had someone like you to make them feel a little more at peace. It was a horrible tragedy that we lost Justice but they needed someone who was genuine and cared and they couldn't praise your services enough. It seems you do this for a lot of families. Bless you!

Our beloved “Little Man”, Phantom passed away suddenly at our home last week and my husband and I are devastated. We wrapped him up in his favorite towel and had to wait until the following morning to find a cremation service.H.P.C.S. was the third number I called and after hearing Joann’s kind, compassionate and empathetic voice, I knew who I wanted to handle Phantom’s final service. Hearing how completely distraught I was, she graciously answered all of my questions, even when I asked twice, she offered directions and to call if we got lost(even during the age of GPS) and told us to be careful and take our time driving, that she would be there all day and there was no rush.She explained that since pandemic precautions were in place we wouldn’t be able to use the viewing room, but set up a table and chairs outside on the porch. She even had a chair for Phantom, understanding we did not want to set the box we transported him in on the ground.Joann sat with us and very patiently waited for us to fill out the forms, explained the costs, reassured us, a few times, that he would be cremated by himself and we would only receive his ashes. She even asked us if we wanted his towel back, and told us if we liked, at no charge, it would be cremated with him. (Which is what we chose.)We took a bit to say goodbye, and Joann never interrupted or tried to hurry us along. After we said our final goodbyes she gave us a sweet little prayer, helped us pick out an urn, told us about the cats who had made a home at the facility, and comforted us.I only wish we could give Joann and H.P.C.S. A whole constellation of stars. We pick up Phantom’s ashes this afternoon, and some would say that this review is premature, but I wanted everyone to know how brilliant Joann and this business is.

One thing I truly appreciated from this place were the people and their services. Specially Joann. She’s a sweetheart and so kind. Very sympathetic. I lost a very sweet hedgehog of mine today. I did feel better after she talked to me... and arranged my plans... I am cremating her and keeping a part of her with me. This place did make me feel like I was putting my pet to Rest In Peace.

I had an experience I wouldn’t want anyone to go to because it was terrifying. I won’t go into detail about what happened, but this place fixed it in less than 24 hours! Everyone was so sweet and so regretful of what happened. It put our minds at ease to know people cared about me, my significant other, and our cat, Martian, who passed away unexpectedly at age 7. I now have my beautiful black cat and her urn back with me and I can grieve in peace.

When my cat died on Thanksgiving day, my vet saw the tears in my eyes and was going to rip me off. I am so glad I found this place instead. The folks here are genuinely kind and good people. Our beloved 18 year old Meow Meow passed Thursday morning. We booked a private viewing/cremation for Saturday morning. Joann, John and Tommy were so caring and sensitive to our needs. They were so gentle with my Meow Meow. I don't believe I could have chosen a better place or sweeter people to handle her final stage on this earth. Thank you so much. Its been 10 months since we used your service. We lost our beloved cat Junior January 1st and you were the only facility open that day to take our boy in. Your receptionist was so very kind to us, let us cry and gave us sweet words of comfort. We had already lost 1 cat and were in a financial bind. You had a reasonable cost to cremate our cat and offered to place his ashes in a urn if we chose to buy one later. A gentleman was there when I picked up the ashes and he was very kind and comforting. Absolute professionals. Don't let the location fool you. They are located on a property that looks like its for another business. I believe the receptionist said both businesses were family owned and the pet cremation business was something they wanted to do.

When you call this place in tears, they are so understanding and compassionate! It’s as if you are their first call of the day 🐶 Exceptional service from start of the creamation to picking up Our beloved tiny Chihuahua’s ashes “Mariah” All 4.3 pounds of our 11year old baby has now crossed the Rainbow 🌈 bridge and gone to Heaven. Paw print 🐾 and an adorable urn with her nameplate on it too ❤️ Don’t let their location bother you as it’s not on the best side of town but it’s safe! Service price, and treating our baby with the utmost dignity was all we could ask for! THANK YOU PALS!

I am thankful for team at HPC. My beloved Daisy Lu Wigglez was handled with the utmost respect during her transition. I was VERY PLEASED.I APPRECIATED their process of not placing her IN THE FIRE. She was carefully placed NEXT to the fire place. In the same way what we would lay next to the the fire place on a cold night. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE PLACEMENT OF HER BODY.Upon th completion of the actual cremation, just before the final step of the process was completed. I was allowed to see what was about to be contained in her FINAL ASHES. I was allowed to make sure that it was ALL JUST HER and I was also allowed to choose a piece from her remains that I wanted to preserve. THIS WAS A PRECIOUS MOMENT FOR ME.Because of their care taken in handling my DEAR DAISY. I will use their services when it is time for my other pet to transition.LeDay

We were short on money and they without thinking twice gave us a discount so we can always have our baby with us.Super professional and very comforting and caring in such a hard time. I wouldn’t bring my pets to anyone else. Seriously thank you for all you did for our family.

I had an experience I wouldn’t want anyone to go to because it was terrifying. I won’t go into detail about what happened, but this place fixed it in less than 24 hours! Everyone was so sweet and so regretful of what happened. It put our minds at ease to know people cared about me, my significant other, and our cat, Martian, who passed away unexpectedly at age 7. I now have my beautiful black cat and her urn back with me and I can grieve in peace.

Wonderful service, made me feel like they cared for my puppy Savannah. Prices were fair and their hours on the weekend really helped bcs my puppy passed away on the Friday night of memorial day weekend. Thank you for such great service

When my cat died on Thanksgiving day, my vet saw the tears in my eyes and was going to rip me off. I am so glad I found this place instead. The folks here are genuinely kind and good people. Our beloved 18 year old Meow Meow passed Thursday morning. We booked a private viewing/cremation for Saturday morning. Joann, John and Tommy were so caring and sensitive to our needs. They were so gentle with my Meow Meow. I don't believe I could have chosen a better place or sweeter people to handle her final stage on this earth. Thank you so much. Its been 10 months since we used your service. We lost our beloved cat Junior January 1st and you were the only facility open that day to take our boy in. Your receptionist was so very kind to us, let us cry and gave us sweet words of comfort. We had already lost 1 cat and were in a financial bind. You had a reasonable cost to cremate our cat and offered to place his ashes in a urn if we chose to buy one later. A gentleman was there when I picked up the ashes and he was very kind and comforting. Absolute professionals. Don't let the location fool you. They are located on a property that looks like its for another business. I believe the receptionist said both businesses were family owned and the pet cremation business was something they wanted to do.

I called several places to get prices when my fur baby passed and besides being a good price, this was the only place that said they were sorry for my loss! That means alot and solidified my decision to trust them to prepare my baby to come back to me 💚

When you call this place in tears, they are so understanding and compassionate! It’s as if you are their first call of the day 🐶 Exceptional service from start of the creamation to picking up Our beloved tiny Chihuahua’s ashes “Mariah” All 4.3 pounds of our 11year old baby has now crossed the Rainbow 🌈 bridge and gone to Heaven. Paw print 🐾 and an adorable urn with her nameplate on it too ❤️ Don’t let their location bother you as it’s not on the best side of town but it’s safe! Service price, and treating our baby with the utmost dignity was all we could ask for! THANK YOU PALS!

Houston pet cremation services were awesome very sympathetic!! I can only say that I am very grateful to the person who very kindly took care of me and comforted me in such a difficult time to go through, which is losing a loved one, and they very kindly helped me cremate my dog. It is a very good place and very economical compared to other places where they are very expensive and also do not have the heart to serve you as they do.Thank you very much to Mrs. Joan who was the one who helped meSolo puedo decir que estoy muy agradecido con la persona que muy amablemente me atendió y me reconfortó en un momento tan difícil de pasar que es perder a un ser querido y qué hay muy amablemente me ayudaron a cremar a mi perrito es muy buen lugar y muy económico comparado con otros lugares donde son muy caros y aparte no tienen el corazón de atenderte como lo hacen hay .muchas gracias ala señora Joan que fue la que me atendió

This place did great. I just lost my little man and they were able to take care of him quickly. Their prices were reasonable and they offer a ceramic paw print. I love my paw print of him. I miss him.

They were so nice , when I lost my true and only bestfriend pepper (cat) . He meant the world to me I still have a necklace and vase with his ashes . I thank them so much for letting me keep my baby with me everywhere

I am thankful for team at HPC. My beloved Daisy Lu Wigglez was handled with the utmost respect during her transition. I was VERY PLEASED.I APPRECIATED their process of not placing her IN THE FIRE. She was carefully placed NEXT to the fire place. In the same way what we would lay next to the the fire place on a cold night. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE PLACEMENT OF HER BODY.Upon th completion of the actual cremation, just before the final step of the process was completed. I was allowed to see what was about to be contained in her FINAL ASHES. I was allowed to make sure that it was ALL JUST HER and I was also allowed to choose a piece from her remains that I wanted to preserve. THIS WAS A PRECIOUS MOMENT FOR ME.Because of their care taken in handling my DEAR DAISY. I will use their services when it is time for my other pet to transition.LeDay
