Terrible experience and worse customer service afterwards. We had an "after 4:30pm" pick up of a cherished horse that was put down around 5pm. The driver did not arrive until almost 9pm. The driver said that he was planning to be here around 5pm, but the managers added two more pickups to his route. He did call finally call us around 8:40pm to tell us he was on the way, but only after we started calling the office to see where he was. I spoke to Bethany at the office this morning and she was unapologetic and rude. All we wanted was for someone to call us and set expectations on when we could expect the driver to arrive, but Bethany said that is not how they work. If I owned that business, Bethany would be the last person I'd put on the phone with a customer that was displeased. I'd recommend using a different company if you ever need this type of service.

My husband and I buried our first horse there last year and were able to make the drive out to visit his grave this year. Everyone we have interacted with has been absolutely lovely and very professional. As the need arises, we will continue to use their services.

I have been using Pinehill since 1995.They have always be there when needed.I have 6 cats buried there and just buried my three beloved dogs there last year on my birthday July 17,2022.Not only did my dogs pass away on a Sunday but Pinehill had a driver to pick them up in three hours.I also have to add that Pinehill even sent a driver to pick up a homeless dog that had been hit on the freeway. Both my sister and my mom buried their cats there too. This is truly a blessing from above.

Amazon job with receiving and returning our beloved chihuahua Bevo's ashed with in a week. But when it came to our name (even spelling it all out first n last) they butcher it. So plz have them read back and or spell it to make sure. The gentleman that brought us Bevo's ashed was great. Called to see if we would like to have him bring Bevo right to our house or back to the vet clinic where he was picked up at. Of course to save us from cryin at the vets office, i asked to have him delivered to us at home. I will still recommend this place.

I went to go see my beautiful horse 2 weeks after I had to put him down. The owner of Pine Hill took me to Stomps burial site, he was so nice and comforting, it made my visit a little easier. This place was so peaceful and beautiful. I'm glad I chose Pine Hill for my beloved Stomp to rest in peace. Thank you.

Pine Hill has the most caring, compassionate, and understanding staff Iβve ever had to meet with. They are extremely family oriented people and understand the meaning of community. Their staff goes above and beyond for those who have just lost a loved one (furbaby). Rain, sleet, or snow, they pick up if accessible to their truck. Their place is filled with beautiful trees, and it brings a blanket of peace knowing how your babies are taken care of there.
Melanie
Losing a pet is an incredibly painful experience, and Pine Hill understands your grief and heartbreak. Your pet is not just another check to them. The entire team was so kind and compassionate, and patiently answered every question I had.Unfortunately ive had to cremate 2 of my pets recently but my mind was at ease knowing theyβre in the care of Pine Hill.10/10 ecommend their services and will use them again in the future.

Everything was amazing from the very first conversation with the answering service. Their personalities were so beautiful, and then everyone who came out from the office from the driver to the office Manager everything was just so lovely. The answering service was so good that I actually contacted them back to start service with them as well. Five stars.

Pine Hill did an amazing job at handling my dog that I had just recently put down do to cancer. I have never done this processes before and they made a very hard time easy and comforting. When the man delivered my urn he was very sympathetic and referred to her ashes as if sheβs was right next to him enjoying a car ride, instead of treating her as an object. This made me start crying on the phone. I highly recommend them!!!

I had to unexpectedly put my horse down due to colic that resulted in a twisted bowel. She was a beloved grandmother to our herd and as gentle as they come. I was beside myself, but had to make arrangements for her final resting place. The vet recommended Pine Hill and they sent David out to get her. I will say, he is the right guy for the job - compassionate, professional, and thoughtful. I opted for the private burial so we can visit her. Pine Hill made the situation as bearable as it could be, given the circumstances, and I genuinely appreciate them. Fly high, Liberty. β€οΈ

Starting in 1995 Pine Hill Pet & Horse Cemetery has been a great resting place for our fur babies. Not only have they gone above and beyond my expectations in providing a safe and peaceful resting place, but they have personally meet me on two occasions in the city to pick up a fur baby of mine who had just passed. They never charged an outrageous fee, etc. We have three dogs, one cat and two rabbits who are all in their own small plot at Pine Hill. Currently I have two cats who are 16 and 13 years old and when they pass I rest assured knowing where they will be going.Thank You to the ones who care!!!

You worry and hear horror stories about dogs not coming back. Our beloved dog was identified through her entire cremation with a serial number. The serial number stayed with her on a metal plate that was even returned with her ashes. The number was on her paw print and her certificate. They ensured I received only my Diamond pup back. They took great care with her. I highly recommend this company and will use them for when I have to go through this in the future, sadly I know I will.We received a cedar urn with her ashes, paw print, certificate, and velvet bag. Thank you Pine Hill.

Pine Hill is the most wonderful place for your furry friends last resting place. Brother Ben and his staff are more then kind and understanding during our time of sadness with the death our alpaca Sherlock, he responded so quickly to my call on a Sunday and we were able to come that day! We couldn't of been treated any better than we were! This is why they have been in business more than 30 years.

Pine Hill has served us over a number of years for treasured animals - large and small. They are always compassionate and caring. I will always call them.
Cassie Bailey
These people are amazing. They were so responsive and helpful. They were at my front door in 2 hours. This really helped us get on with our mourning process. We miss our gentle giant Baxter, but Pine Hills helped us imensely. Driver gave us a heads up when he was on his way and met his ETA which really helped me get busy household situated.

Pine Hills handled the cremation of our first dog 2 years ago, with great care and compassion. Unfortunately we are seeking their assistance today for our second dog that passed last night. Just answering the phone on a Sunday morning has made a extremely heartbreaking time easier.Thank You!Wish I could give you 10 stars

We are so grateful that Pine Hill was available to come get our beloved horse the same day that we had been forced to him put down. The people on the phone and the driver were so helpful, they made a difficult time much more bearable.

My sister and I have had several pets cremated at Pine Hill. I deliver them to Pine Hill and pick them up. They have always been kind and handled our pets as they would their own. We will continue to use Pine Hill in the future.

Let me start off with,I realize how hard it is to dispose of a 1200 animal .much less if it happens to die in a stall, with no easy access. My mom is not in the best health anyway and is undergoing chemo, and has just lost her horse.so pine hill sent 1 guy out to collect this horse..he was there several hours and was unable to complete this task. While my mother beraved anyway waited in the heat for this to be accomplished .was told it was gonna be 300 for that day plus another 300 if they came back out the next day...day..is.suffering thru cancer and chemo, every week.called pine hill when her beloved apply Buddy died in his stall yesterday will never recommend

These people are rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. The woman i spoke to literally said βum- i donβt knowβ during our phone call. She made no effort to try and help me, plus she was very rude with the tone she used!

@Tanya Sanders, how is Tracy doing? Did he find a new job yet? I hope so I have him in my thoughts and prayers.Pine Hill is such a serene peaceful setting. The upkeep and care is phenomenal.

I have looked into a few pet cemetery's my dogs are getting older and we want to be ready for thier passing. I've been to this one a few times. One of the times I went in the office smelled like a skunk. I walked around a bit. While I was there I noticed them cutting legs off of horses. There was also a worker who was cutting the heads off of cattle. I decided not to go with this one for several reasons. I overheard the owner screaming at one of the employees and calling him names. I just couldn't believe of how this owner was to his employees it was down right inhuman. To watch this go on was just horrible.

Think twice before you hire Pine Hill. The driver picked up our dog's body by dumping it in a black garbage bag in front of the family and then throwing it over his shoulder as he walked out the door. I spoke to the office manager so that we would not have to deal with the same insensitive driver when they returned the cremains. The return driver called 5 minutes ahead (not the promised 1 hour) and left the urn/cremains IN THE MAILBOX. I have had many pets cremated by other companies and have NEVER had a single one treated like garbage before. THIS is the memory we will have any time we look at the urn now.
Kathy Roberts
I have been waiting 3 weeks for the cremated remains of my little pug Emily. Apparently they brought her remains back to the vet clinic who didn't call me because the name was spelled incorrectly. No communication from them...I'm not happy and will go back to taking my beloved pets to Smokerise Farm.

All of our pets and grand-pets have been cared for at the end of their lives by Bro. Ben Larson and his staff since 1996. I can't think of a more caring and beautiful place for the spirits of our animals to romp and play.

I have a dog burried there. And I have reservations for another. I have received nothing but respect from Pine Hill. Thank you for being there for me and my pets.

My experience has been callous uncaring business that over charges for the services provided. Ie: dumping your pet in a landfill.
