Nick and Elena were so kind, compassionate, and caring throughout the entire process of designing, making, and placing our daughters headstone.Our first daughter was stillborn, and my husband and I were having a hard time doing this last step in finalizing everything. After 5 years we decided to use Amarillo Legacy and I am so glad we did! They held our hand throughout the entire process and I can’t thank them enough for the feeling of peace they have given our family!

Hats off to Amarillo Legacy Monument Company. They're the best. After decades, my daughters and I replaced a simple concrete stone that merely identified my mother's gravesite with a beautiful granite marker. Finally, my mother's resting place is properly acknowledged. Not only that, they installed the marker themselves to make sure it was in place when my daughters and I came to Amarillo to pay tribute to her. I cannot thank Amarillo Legacy Monument Company enough for helping me out!! I ordered a tombstone online without knowing all the obstacles I would later face. Most monument companies would never install a tombstone that was not order through them as it is a huge responsibility/risk on their end. But Nick was willing to meet with me and help me out. As I walked into his shop and saw his work I instantly regretted not going through them as all their work there was beautiful!! Although I love the tombstone I got for my loved one I wish I would have saved myself the stress and ordered local. Save yourself the trouble and order local!! I truly recommend them.

Amarillo Legacy Monument made my experience putting my dads stone personal. Because if his experience with loosing his son he knows how special the stone for your loved ones final resting place is, so he went above and beyond to honor my father perfectly.

I found this company after being put through the wringer by the cemetery. The price was double what my research told me it should be, the engraver there only comes once a month from out of town, which means my mom's stone wouldn't have been ready for her burial. I felt like I was being taken advantage of because I was in such a vulnerable place emotionally and because of our timeline. I found Nick, at Amarillo Legacy, through a google search after deciding I just couldn't deal with the cemetery people any more. And what a positive change it was. Nick, before we even hired him, actually went over to the grave site and explained why I needed a new plan, whether I went with him or not. He pointed out obvious things that the cemetery should have seen. Just doing this one small kindness was enough for me to know he was the one I wanted in charge of my mom's stone. He brought the warmth, kindness, and empathy to the marker that only someone who has lost someone they loved dearly could. The about section on his page will make you cry and help you understand why he does such great work...this is a calling for him, not just a job. He put so much time and care into the job. He talked with me, met with my mom's best friends (they also couldn't stop saying nice things about Nick and his work), made the stone and set it ALL IN A WEEK so that it was ready for our burial service. His commitment and kindness mattered more than he will ever know. His calm and encouraging voice changed the entire energy of this process and transformed the memories of this tragic time. Knowing that someone with so much kindness, skill and care made my mom's headstone settles my broken heart. It's what she deserved. Anyone who has a loved one who dies should start with Nick from the beginning.

The Ortiz family did a beautiful job making & setting my beautiful daughters headstone. Nick & his beautiful family were patient & kind, meeting with us a few different times to get the memorial just the way we wanted it. Losing my daughter and planning her funeral & making arrangements was and is, the darkest valley of my life. This family understands maneuvering through that valley and their work is truly a ministry of love. Thank you so much for your heart, your work & your ministry. I would highly recommend this company.

From the run around and the lack of compassion from other companies in amarillo I highly recommend this company not only are they family owned and operated but you also feel the compassion and warmth from them. Loosing a child is something one couldn't imagine going through but with the help from nick I felt important ,and my child was respected and his headstone genuinely made me feel greatful and peaceful for my heart . When I say save your self the trip and heartache and pain dealing with companies that look at you like another incoming check i really mean it. Amarillo Legacy Monument is the place to be.
