Our beloved Chi passed unexpectly while we were on vacation. Pet Angel shipped our angel all the way back to Ohio for us. This happened in August and just today I summoned the courage to open the box. What a beautiful memorial - a sweet paw print and cedar urn to put on our boy's altar. Thank you for your kindness and care!

I want to sincerely express my humble gratitude and thanks to Pet Angels for their exceptional care and compassion during such a heartbreaking time. After saying goodbye to my beloved Gizzy on January 12th, I called Memphis Veterinary Services to ask if I could have a lock of his hair as a keepsake. I was informed that Gizzy had already been transported to Pet Angels in Nashville, and they kindly encouraged me to reach out to them. When I did, I had the privilege of speaking with Bailey, who was nothing short of a warm blessing.Bailey was incredibly kind-hearted, understanding, and reassuring throughout our conversation. I shared my concerns about the private cremation process, specifically wanting to ensure I would receive Gizzy’s remains. She provided a detailed explanation that was not only thorough but also gave me the peace of mind I needed during such an emotional moment. Her genuine care and professionalism reassured me that I had made the right decision for Gizzy’s final resting place. When I received Gizzy’s remains, I was touched by the level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The urn was beautifully crafted, the paw print impression in the ceramic was a heartfelt keepsake and even the packaging reflected the respect and honor they showed to my fur baby. While it was devastating to receive the ashes of my fur baby, the care and effort they put into every aspect made the experience comforting.I want to extend my deepest thanks to Bailey and the team at Pet Angels for their kindness, patience and understanding during this difficult time. They truly recognize how challenging it is for families to navigate the loss of a beloved pet and their compassion made all the difference.I am profoundly grateful for their service and would highly recommend them to anyone facing such a difficult moment. Thank you for honoring Gizzy with such care and respect.Ashley S.

I’m extremely devastated and disappointed in the service provided by PAMC. My precious cat died suddenly, and my family and I trusted them to help us with her arrangements. We asked for two simple ink paw prints of her two front paws. We even provided them the ink pads and nice card stock. We told everyone there our wishes and even wrote it down for them. I am so shocked and upset to see what we were given- a clay paw print, and one single ink paw print that is damaged and on tacky letterhead. It’s late to have anything fixed, because our sweet Molly is already cremated. Stay away from this place.

What a wonderful and compassionate company. They took such great care of my cat who died very suddenly and were so supportive and accommodating. They made sure I had everything I needed - including space to talk - when they released the ashes back to me. Jeff especially was a joy to speak to on the phone and the nice lady in the office was so kind and helpful. I love the box and beautiful satchel they put my cat’s ashes in.I would absolutely trust them to care for any of my pet’s needs when that day comes

I had my beloved dog, Manny, cremated here a few weeks ago, after his sudden passing. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Michelle, Jeff, and Bailey (just to name a few) were so accommodating, compassionate, respectful, and patient with myself and my family. They took the process and the grief very seriously - they know pets are truly family members. Everything was very reasonably priced, and I was very pleased when I picked up my boy's remains and memorabilia. The people at Pet Angel (I can only speak for Nashville location) take pride in their role and their craft. Zero complaints. I feel so blessed to have found this place and their employees during such a sad time. They made it so much easier, and made it a warm, pleasant experience. I appreciate them so much and 10/10 recommend.

Thank you for the beautiful job of the cremation of my son and I pet Diamond. The delivery and packaging of the urn, paw print, and certificate was beautiful 😍. Although we will miss her dearly 💕, our heart is truly at rest knowing she is resting at home 🏡 with us. Thank you again 💓 I would truly recommend this company.

Thank you all for the wonderful service you provided not once but twice for our family dogs. You went up and beyond to give my sweet Olivia a proper memorial, she meant the world to us especially after my father(her original owner)passed and she went to live with me. Her paw print was well made and the box holding her ashes was beautiful. Not to forget that you all went up and beyond to have her delivered to me even though I was out of your delivery range I appreciate all you did for us during this difficult time

Our beautiful pit, Angel passed away on Feburary 7, 2021 from a very aggressive form of bone cancer. She was 13 years old, she was our baby. Even though we knew her time was coming sooner than we wanted, we knew we wanted her to still be with us after she passed. I called Pet Angel Memorial before her passing to get all the information so I could be prepared and the owner, he was so compassionate. He explained everything to me and when our baby passed away at home, I made the call and he met me there. I got to pick out the beautiful box she is in and chose to get the paw print. He had her back to me later that afternoon. Her paw print turned out perfect, he did explain that it would be really soft for a few days and what to do to help it harden up. It still has a sponge like feel to it but its solid. I would recommend this place to anyone losing or who has lost a family pet. Thank you again for being so compassionate and taking care of our Angel.

Update: after receiving a call, they are replacing the damaged urn and they were very apologetic. And it was the vet, not them, who didn’t tell me the different options. I really appreciate the time taken to reach out to me and make this right. The cedar box was cracked and damaged. Not exactly how you want to get your baby back when it’s already a hard next step of losing them. Maybe it was the vet but I wasn’t aware that I could order a name plate either so I’ll get one made.

Thank you for the beautiful job that y’all did with Boots Swiger. The name on the box was wonderful along with the paw print and lock of hair. I wish he was still here, but we are happy to have his remains so well taken care of.

So disappointed. This is my 3rd review and all attempts to contact these people have flown in the wind. I've not received one condolence or any attempt at an apology. My vet sent my little Chihuahua who died in a tragic accident to Pet Angel in Columbia for cremation. She was 12 years old and I'd had her since birth, (I had her mom and dad and I still have her grieving sister) even bottle feeding her at one point. I was beyond devastated since I caused the accident. It's been almost a month and I'm still grieving. Anyway, I opted for the paw print because personally I find it a bit creepy to keep ashes of dead pets. No judgment, but with as many cats and dogs that I've had over my lifetime, my home would be inundated with pet urns. The paw print was described as clay. It came to me in a box and a small bag, but it was soft, as if it hadn't been cured or baked, or whatever they're supposed to do with it. In other words, a total rip off and it's not like it can be done over again. I contacted the vet and they just "apologized" and said they would pass along the information. In the meantime I have a paw print in what looks like cookie dough and it actually got damaged when I took it out of the bag because my own finger print smooshed it. For $150?Very very disappointed...

Had to get my pet put down, was told id get ashes within a few days- two weeks later no ashes. called today and said he was tired to be delivered to the vet clinic but was closed so he got returned to pet angel. called this morning and a very sweet lady said she'd get a dispatcher out and have him to the clinic back to me by 5 today. not even 5 min later Jeff text me asking to call- letting me know it'll be Monday maybe before he's delivered. they didn't care to call the clinic to see if they were open for the delivery, never contacted me about delivery, and he was very short and uncaring. I'll never use pet angel again. Faithful companions is the best cremation service I've had to use before, and recommend them over Pet angel any day. they were contsantly in contact with me about my pets ashes, got ashes back within 48hrs, and so considerate. Pet angel obviously has shown me they don't care about the pets or pet parents they're handling. Communication needs to be a big improvement, because being told I'd have my pet back today after 2wks of waiting and then to be told i have to wait even longer, has added so much more depression and stress on me, and want to prevent this happening to any other pet parent who has to go through this.

I want to thank Belle Forrest animal hospital and Pet Angel Memorial Center. We received our baby yesterday. We had him sent back to the vet so we could pick him up there. The box urn is beautiful and the paw imprint was precious. Thank you again for the professionalism during the loss of our baby Mr Chewy.

My cat Ophelia passed away the day before Thanksgiving. The vet office that I took her to partners with Pet Angel. The vet tech said that I would receive a clay print of her paw and a lock of her fur. That sounded much nicer than the place that cremated my two dogs. I paid for a private cremation. I told my daughter that we should be receiving a lock of Ophelia's fur along with the clay print. I was contacted to make sure I would be home for a home delivery which I thought was a nice service. That day came and I missed a call from them. I reached out to the number that was texted to me and didn't get a response. I called again to see when she would be delivered and was told the delivery was skipped over because I didn't answer. I made sure someone would be home all day to receive her. I went to pick her up and it seemed like they couldn't find her. After a bit of time, they located her and brought me the bag that contained the items. Everything is packaged really nice and had a bar code for each item, which I assume is to make sure it all belonged to her. Unfortunately, there was no lock of fur. I was so disappointed about that. I know it may seem small and insignificant to some, but I just wanted to have a little piece of her like that. We lost her suddenly and it has been difficult. Otherwise, the urn is nice and I do appreciate the clay paw print.

My dog just passed away a few weeks ago, May 8th to be exact. I paid for the cremation after the vet's office let me visit with her when I returned home, 2 days later. I was told they do pick ups on Tuesday and Thursday. I paid for 2 clay paw prints, and was charged for fur because the vet's office already bagged her back up- which is insane in itself, but I paid for it because I wanted it. I was told I would receive a call in about a week from the vet's office when they received the ashes. 3 weeks later and I still did not have her ashes, and zero communication. I contacted the vet and was told that it was because of a "specialty" urn that was chosen. I did not choose a specialty box, in fact, I think it was one of the cheaper choices. Either way, there should have been SOME communication from this company. Why was she not cremated for 3 weeks, and not until after I called?I received the call today that I could pick up the ashes. I pick them up, and there is no fur and only one paw print. To some people it may be no big deal, but she was my "first born" and has been an integral part of my life for over 13 years. That is all I would have left of her. Two paw prints for each parent that are no longer together, and now one has to go without. I am devastated and disgusted. These are things that I can't ever get. I would never use this company again. Ever. These are people's feelings and emotions that are seemingly just disregarded.

Sorry to say but I had a bad experience with Pet Angel service. It took over 2 weeks to get our dog’s ashes. They sent it via USPS delivery and the guy didn’t even rang the bell just left a slip, so this made it even longer. The tracking number provided by Pet Angel didn’t work and when we called they had an attitude also never responded to our email. You should get a better delivery service, this is unacceptable considering the fee you charge. Very disappointing.

Where is my Maui? My baby boy had to be put to sleep suddenly. Devastating. PA text me while I was at work giving me no time to confirm they had the wrong adress. When they told me they where going to deliver Maui home the text they sent me had the wrong name. I told them 4 time the correct name and they said today Wed he would be dropped home. I have waited all day NO CALL NO MAUI. WHERE IS MY MAUI. Terrible unprofessional heartless company. Amazon has better service and respect than these heartless Pet Angel place

If it was possible to leave no stars, I certainly would. The absolute worst in the business, zero compassion, and terrible customer service. Over two weeks and still no delivery or update from this place. When we called to see what was going on, we were given number after number to call. Finally, the guy in charge got on the phone and he had no compassion. Please DO NOT use this company, they are not fit for this business. I will be calling several Vets over the next few days to strongly urge them to find another vendor for such services.

We had to say goodbye to our little Max, our little 16-year-old Yorkie on June 11th, 2021. It was hard, but our Vet made it so much easier, and took care of the cremation through Pet Angel. We didn’t know what to expect, but we were thoroughly impressed by the beautiful cedar box and picture frame with his paw print on one side of the frame. They truly care for our pets. Thank you Pet Angel!

Left several voicemails concerning my pet and ZERO COMMUNICATION. Didnt get the paw print and my babies ashes were screwed shut un the box. Broke the box to get them out. Horrific experience and got a tiny bit of ashes back. Used a different cremation service for my cat that just passed and night and day difference in quality and communication.

I utilized the "Pet Angel Memorial Center" out of Columbia, TN, after I had to put my beloved cat of almost 12 years to sleep after a medical emergency at Nashville Veterinary Specialists and Animal Emergency. The clinic had a few different cremation and memorial options, so after selecting one and going through the euthanasia process, my cat's body was kept at the clinic until it was transported to Cedar Hills for cremation. Part of the memorial package that I selected was a clay paw print. I received my cat's ashes and paw print two days later, but the paw print looked like an ordinary cat's paw, and my cat was polydactyl. My only reason for selecting the memorial package that I did was to have a print of her very unique paw. I complained to Jeff, the owner, knowing that after a cremation, there's really nothing to be done. He was very apologetic and said several times that they are always very careful to note such unique qualities and properly make the cast to reflect the pet. Then he figured out that the print had been performed by a new employee, who thought that my cat's 3 extra toes/"thumb" was just a large dewclaw, and had just pushed those claws out of the way when performing the cast. Even if this person thought it was, in fact, a large dewclaw, I don't know why they wouldn't think to include it. Again, Jeff was very apologetic and offered to send me some jewelry or a picture frame, to make up for it. I chose the picture frame (which turned out to be a little tacky), as I'm not much of a jewelry person. I was/am just so disappointed in how the whole process was handled. The 3 stars are for Jeff's friendliness and the ease of the process, but I'd suggest if you use the service, be extremely specific about your pet's distinctive qualities that you want to have preserved. I didn't think that I should have had to be so detailed with something so obvious, but I was wrong.

Lost my little buddy Rosco over weekend pet angel got in touch with me told me the hours he would come home the lady called 10 minutes before she got here she was very polite and gave me confidence for the loss of my family member. The wooden box he was in was very nice and the paw print was special! Thank you for all of did in my time of grief

Communication was great. Arrangements were made my veterinary hospital. The delivery was when they told me it was, and Justin texted me when he got close and gave condolences when he gave me my best friend back. Very comforting experience and you can tell the care given is top notch.

I just watched a YouTube video of a very good friend that lost his cat. He had this cat for 11 years he took it to this company so he could have a remembrance. The cat’s name was Jax’s and he received a paw print and it wasn’t the cat that passed away. Because his cat had six toes, the paw print only had five that was sent to him. They said they dropped the ball, they blamed it on the technician. So now he believes that everything they send him is not his cat. They lied.

it is hard to find you on google at least this location is but My wife and I truly wanted to past on to others or experience. We received our German Shepard Bailey's ashes today. We expected to get a plain generic plastic box or bag on a cardboard box, but what we got was so much more. His remains came in a dignified wood box with brass hasp and a velvet bag with "My Pet Angel" on it. It did not remind us of the loss of a pet but rather it was a reminder that we had a friend. Thank You Pet Angel (and work on your Google maps presence :) )

I lost my standard poodle Morpheus on July 1st and by the 4th a holiday my baby was delivered to me. In truth I had no real idea of what to expect as truly I was deveasted when I lost my boy so I had stated I wanted him cremated and his ashes, I received a cast of his paw which was a great joy as tho I had bought kits to do that for him I had not gotten around to it as we had gotten his son back into our home ( we have the two sons and his mate still ) and I needed to get an extra kit so this was a wonderful blessing. As well he came home in a nice wooden box and had a certificate in regard to the cremation and a pamphlet to offer grief assistance which was kind. This was heartbreaking for me as he had been with me nearing 13 years so all their services were appreciated especially due to a very kind man delivering him home on July 4th a holiday, he had texted to let us know he was on the way, he showed up almost exactly as to how long he stated and I live rural sooo it was a drive, in the past I have lost pets and had cremation done but this by far is the best service I have ever used and would recommend them to all as well as thank them for their kind acts and amazing service, Isis, Thor, Kong and my husband and I thank you for returning our loved boy home with such respect.

Pet Angels is amazing!!! I literally cannot thank them enough for their customer service, prompt and skillful work, and most importantly, genuine compassion. I was on a roadtrip with my family when our 16-year old fur child passed away. These guys went above and beyond to ensure Chibby was immediately taken care of and honored. Now, Chibby can continue on making this road trip with us (just in another capacity, which is so special to us). I don't wish the passing of a pet on anyone, but if/when it happens, I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! I would probably even drive the 4 hours to use Pet Angels again.

My 15 year old German Shepherd died during her sleep on a Friday night. Jeff is closed Saturday but he opened up for Amber. His staff including a new hire were wonderful. 5 stars for their flexibility and kindness.

Jeff and John treated Tess like a member of our family, because she was. It was very important to me that we be given the attention you expect at a funeral home, and that is exactly what we got at Cedar Hills. I can't say enough praise about our experience, though a sad loss, they made it more bearable with their kind attention to our every need. Thank you John and Jeff!
