My precious boy Peaches abruptly and unexpectedly passed away a few nights ago. I didn't know what to do and called a friend who referred me to Nashville Pet Crematory. It was around 7:30 at night when I called them. They were very kind on the phone and agreed to meet me there in thirty minutes. They walked me through the process, helped me with some paperwork through my tears, and offered tissues and water. They made me feel at ease. Peaches is now back with me and they also gave me some of his fur and whiskers. I paid extra to get his pawprint made. I can't thank you guys enough for making this hard moment a little easier. Thank you so much ❤️

I lost my 17 year old Shih Tzu Bella and no idea what I was going to do. I found Nashville Pet Crematory and they were so helpful and respectful of my loss. They were able to get me in on Monday after she had passed Sunday night and had here ashes ready for me to pickup on Tuesday. They made the process bearable. we lost our precious little bird of 20 years, and Nashville pet crematory took her in the instant we called extremely respectful and understanding staff they truly love animals and understand how heavy losses and how important it is to respect and preserve the animal. They were very fast with the cremation too, and we got our baby back a few days later with a great selection of urns. Staff is very easy to talk to and contact!! super sweet as well!! 100% would recommend this place!!

I was devastated when my precious fur baby Maxie passed on Jan. 21, 2025. She was almost 17 and although thankful for those yrs. you are never ready to give them up.I can honestly say Leia at Nashville Pet Crematory was so kind and caring. My friend had used them I found out, and she felt the same way.My daughter and I called around to many places and I didn't feel comfortable with any of them. I felt like "Take a number, take a seat". I never felt that way with Leia. From our first phone call, to our meeting and then my return to collect Maxie's remains I felt compassion and understanding from Leia.Losing a pet is so hard. You need a caring company to help get you through that trauma. I believe Nashville Pet Crematory is that place.Maxie Resha Family.

First time ever reviewing on Google just to alert others: Spoke with the owner on the phone, and as other reviews (especially on yelp) confirm, she was very short with my husband, focused only on when we could drop off our just deceased pet - and sounded quite bothered to try and arrange the drop off time. Felt more like speaking with a displeased UPS employee over the phone about a package than about our closest friend for the past 13 years. Two stars only because after they missed our call, they did in fact text us - however it's very clear it is all about the money at this business, and the so-called "bedside manner" you'd expect from such services will not be found here.After hanging up, we instead called Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services on the other side of Nashville, and they were very caring and sensitive towards our grief. We even got our pet's remains back to us the next morning, WITH kind words and condolences.

Leia and Mitchell were a blessing for me and my precious kitty who had suddenly passed away. I was able to be with my darling cat through the entire process of cremation. It was wonderful to know that she was never alone. I was able to witness the placing of my girl into the vault. Mitchell completed a paw print and provided me with a lock of hair. I witnessed the closing of the vault and the beginning of the cremation. My cat was treated with great respect and dignity. I was wrecked emotionally - and Leia and Mitchell were comforting and reassuring in my time of need. Leia reached out to me the day after to see how I was doing.The entire process of cremation lasted about 2 hrs and I was able to leave with my fur baby's remains. I can only say that the love my cat and I received was a true gift from God.

Absolutely amazing place! Would absolutely recommend to anyone. I lost my baby in a very traumatic way. I called them at 1:30am they comforted me on the phone and we discussed I can come in first thing in the morning. I woke up super early and couldn’t go back to bed so I gave them another call they said I could absolutely head in now. When I was there I was comforted, I was offered water, the bathroom anything I needed. We sat there and talked and they helped me get my mind off of everything and made me feel better even if it was just a for 30 minutes of us just talking. They texted me the next day (less than 24 hours) and told me my dog was ready to be picked up. I was shocked on how quick because most places take over a week. They worked with me on a pick up time for the following day because I couldn’t make it. They were so kind and I got a paw print of my dog and they even cut off hair and put it in a little baggy for me. I have to say through such a hard time, they made it easier and effortless. The kindness that they show is unmatched. What an absolutely great business. Thank you so much.🤍

Our neighbor had an acute, unexpected death of their beloved dog at their home. It was late in the evening and we called the Nashville pet crematory on a whim given 24hour listing and positive reviews. Not only did they scoop up the pup and handle her carefully. They took the time to listen to those grieving and reassure us of her gentle handling. I was able to pick up her ashes with a lock of hair and paw impression less than 48 hours later (on a Sunday) and bring her home to the family. This was affordable but more importantly, it was managed around our timeline and with thoughtfulness.

There were several things we greatly appreciated from Nashville Pet Crematory.The compassion and care for our dog that appeared to be truly genuine when we talked over the phone, were there in person, and after we left. The ability to have our dog cremated separately from others was a deciding factor for us. If I could say a trillion times of " thank you " I would. Leia did such an amazing job on my baby girl Spice. She was an Abyssinian Guinea Pig. I got her and her cage friend, Pumpkin in 2019 when I had my miscarriage. Pumpkin & Spice helped me through my loss and grief in 2019. I lost Spice due to illness and age unfortunately. I throughly can truly say; Thank you so much for doing an OUTSTANDING, TREMENDOUS, and BEAUTIFUL, job on my Spice. I was very specific how I wanted my order and Leia did an 10/10 job ! Today Sep 9,2022 I woke up very happy knowing I will be getting my baby girl back tomorrow!I paid a great amount for , total 16 paw/foot prints on paper,(8 front paws,8 foot prints) ,3 paw clay imprints, urn ,and Spice's ashes. Leia does delivery and pick-up. If you need anyone to trust you with your fur babies; This place is to go to !!! When it is time for my other fur babies, I will be bringing them here to Leia. My Bun-Bun died and Leah was able to offer the best price in town for individual cremation (they don’t offer communal cremation). So very nice, helpful and kind at a sad time for me. My sweet big boy Wybie passed unexpectedly late one Saturday night. I hadn't thought he would go so quickly and had made no preparations. Ms. Leia took my call Sunday morning and made time for me even though she hadn't planned to stay at her office much longer that day. Her thoughtfulness and empathy meant the world to me while I was grieving for my loss. She was so kind and got my baby back to me within a couple of days. One of the most special things she gave me was a mold with one of his paw prints. What made it especially precious was that it was of his paw that was miss a toe. Leia was very nice and made this very sad day comforting. My dog passed away pdacefully today, but it was unexpected. I called Leia and she worked with me so I could have Rocco cremated today and got his ashes back the same day. I was also able to be with Rocco and watch him go in the cremation chamber. They did a ink and clay pawprint for me as well. They also have a very nice selection of urns. Highly recommend this place.

About a month and a half ago I unexpectedly lost my sweet baby rat. Nashville pet crematory did an amazing job of taking care of Rosie on her final journey with care and compassion. Leia took my call at 9am that morning and came into the office just to take care of me even though it was a holiday weekend. Leia is very passionate about animals and had great advice on the different shelters in town and services they could offer. Her and james did a great job with my baby and even managed to get fur, whiskers, and a cute little paw print from her with absolutely no judgement for her being an “unusual/exotic” pet. I will definitely return here next time I need cremation services.

Nashville pet crematory was very helpful when we lost our fur baby Kash. We lost him very unexpectedly on a Sunday morning, I called and spoke with Leia who was very quick to get us taken care of. My sweet baby, Livvy, had passed away unexpectedly. She was hit by a truck. I was devastes and didn’t know what I was gonna do. I then called Nashville Pet Crematory and they were so sweet. On the phone, they were kind and understood that I was going through it. They set up a time with me. I was was running late, but they were kind and told me it was okay. Ms. Leia took my call Sunday morning and made time for me even though she hadn't planned to stay at her office much longer that day. Leia was very nice and made this very sad day comforting. My dog passed away pdacefully today, but it was unexpected. I called Leia and she worked with me so I could have Rocco cremated today and got his ashes back the same day. I was also able to be with Rocco and watch him go in the cremation chamber. About a month and a half ago I unexpectedly lost my sweet baby rat. Nashville pet crematory did an amazing job of taking care of Rosie on her final journey with care and compassion. Leia took my call at 9am that morning and came into the office just to take care of me even though it was a holiday weekend. I would like to thank Leia and the Nashville Pet Crematory staff for their love and care when my beloved Alex died. I was left without a crematory option and my boy got sick very suddenly. I reached out to Nashville Pet Crematory on a Sunday night and got an immediate call back. I advised Leia of my situation and that I was taking my Alex to the vet the next morning and I wasn’t sure what was gonna happen. She told me to keep her posted and she would be standing by to help me if I needed a cremation. Unfortunately it was time for my Alex to cross over. I contacted Leia and she was very accommodating and said that I could bring him as soon as I was finished at the vet and she would do a private cremation. Leia and her staff were very open and showed me the crematory and the facility. I felt extremely comfortable there and cannot express enough gratitude for them helping me at the last minute. I prefer to take my pets to the crematory myself and not leave them at the vet and Leia made this possible for me. She made a horrible day a bit better and I will be forever grateful.

I lost my sweet dog on Christmas Eve, which has made the holiday season difficult. Mrs. Leia was great. We lost our baby a couple of days ago and she was able to take care of him within a couple hours of us calling. Max was our bunny and we love and miss him dearly. I was expecting his remains and the urn that was provided but was moved to tears when I realized that she added a paw print and a piece of his fur as well. Mrs. Leia is a very compassionate woman and made something beautiful out of a very horrible time in our lives. After receiving my baby boy we sat and talked for a while and it meant the world to me. I wanted to write this review much sooner, As Lia and Mitchell at Nashville Pet Crematorium deserves high marks, but it has taken me a month to get myself where I was able to do so after our loss.Sadly my fur baby passed on at 14 1/2 yrs old. It was very hard on me and our family. We love our pets so very much. Taking him to do this difficult last deed was truly so heavy on my heart, but Mitchell took my fur baby boy out of my arms and told me, " don't worry we will love him and take care of him as if he was our very own, b/c we have been in your place before. We understand how hard this time can be".Lia his wife was so sweet. She was so patient and understanding as I picked out a special urn for our boy. I truly felt as though they were friends, helping us.It is never ever easy losing a pet, but somehow through their love and kindness shown to us, it helped. Sometimes the smallest deed of kindness can mean the most. I highly recommend this small family owned business that understands that our pets are our family too. They have called twice over the last month to check in on me. Leia at the Nashville Pet Crematory is amazing. She helped cremate my Great Dane in July 2020 and then recently helped cremate my Labradoodle in February 2023. In July 2020, she answered my call at around 9-10pm at night and opened up the crematory that night itself so that we could cremate my Great Dane the very night she passed away. When my Labradoodle got sick with cancer, we called her to let her know he might pass away any time. She told us she would be ready for us when it’s time. My Labradoodle passed away on Sunday, February 12. We called Leia, and even though she wasn’t in town that weekend, she called a gentleman named Troy — who drove down from Clarksville to Nashville on a Sunday evening — and opened the crematory especially for us to be able to say goodbye to our child the same night that he passed. Leia and Troy even allowed us to lay our babies in the cremator ourselves and even let us push the button to start the cremator. Leia and her entire team at the Nashville Pet Crematory go above and beyond each and every time. While it is always tragic to lose a beloved pet, it is comforting to know that people like Leia and Troy exist to help ease the process. I am so grateful to them and would recommend the Nashville Pet Crematory to anyone who loses their pet.

I have been dealing personal trauma and loss. Leia is such a caring and loving person. I can't even find words to express how much her concern and excellent service helped us through our time of grief. This is the second of our kitty fur-babies that we lost with in the last few months. Having someone like Leia to help us with the cremation is a total blessing. We received our Miranda's ashes back knowing that she was handled with the greatest of care. Very Special and Wonderful ServiceOur boy Elvis, who was our cockatiel parrot died last week and my wife Barbara was with him when he took his last breath. We thought long and hard on what we were going to do and decided to have him cremated. Our Vet wasn’t able to help finding a company that I could be there to make sure that we got our babies ashes, so I came upon this wonderful company that is only a mile from our home. I arrived and Leia and her husband were great people and helped me through the process. First thing that they did for us was making a clay set of his feet. Then I was allowed to witness him being placed into the crematorium and in 30 minutes I was done and able to take Elvis’ ashes home. Terrible experience here. Leia the owner of the business is nice until there is a problem. The payment terminal had an issue while we were there which lead to a pending payment in our account which after all of our vet bills was all the money we had left for another week and a half. Despite bank statement evidence that the payment was pending she was rude, confrontational and verbally threatened to throw out our pets ashes, causing me to miss a day of work, demanding payment which she then refused to give me a time estimate to meet her and ignored all contact attempts from 12PM till 4:30PM on a weekday when she told me to be there at 5:30PM same day. Following this experience I received messages from her trying to qualify her behavior with how she's had a busy day, and her dog is sick. Well, mine died.

I wanted to write this review much sooner, As Lia and Mitchell at Nashville Pet Crematorium deserves high marks, but it has taken me a month to get myself where I was able to do so after our loss.Sadly my fur baby passed on at 14 1/2 yrs old. It was very hard on me and our family. We love our pets so very much. Taking him to do this difficult last deed was truly so heavy on my heart, but Mitchell took my fur baby boy out of my arms and told me, " don't worry we will love him and take care of him as if he was our very own, b/c we have been in your place before. We understand how hard this time can be".Lia his wife was so sweet. She was so patient and understanding as I picked out a special urn for our boy. I truly felt as though they were friends, helping us.It is never ever easy losing a pet, but somehow through their love and kindness shown to us, it helped. Sometimes the smallest deed of kindness can mean the most. I highly recommend this small family owned business that understands that our pets are our family too. They have called twice over the last month to check in on me. Leia at the Nashville Pet Crematory is amazing. She helped cremate my Great Dane in July 2020 and then recently helped cremate my Labradoodle in February 2023. In July 2020, she answered my call at around 9-10pm at night and opened up the crematory that night itself so that we could cremate my Great Dane the very night she passed away. When my Labradoodle got sick with cancer, we called her to let her know he might pass away any time. She told us she would be ready for us when it’s time. My Labradoodle passed away on Sunday, February 12. We called Leia, and even though she wasn’t in town that weekend, she called a gentleman named Troy — who drove down from Clarksville to Nashville on a Sunday evening — and opened the crematory especially for us to be able to say goodbye to our child the same night that he passed. Leia and Troy even allowed us to lay our babies in the cremator ourselves and even let us push the button to start the cremator. Leia and her entire team at the Nashville Pet Crematory go above and beyond each and every time. While it is always tragic to lose a beloved pet, it is comforting to know that people like Leia and Troy exist to help ease the process. I am so grateful to them and would recommend the Nashville Pet Crematory to anyone who loses their pet.

My best friend (dog) passed away several months ago.I was crippled at the time, and I had expected to have years more with him, so I was extremely distraught. Nashville crematory was the only place I could take him, as I couldn’t dig, and it was all I could do just to get him to the car.I cannot overstate how grateful I am for their actions towards me. It was around 2 am, I had to drive from an hour and a half away with him in the back. When I got there the nice man took care of everything. Simply amazing.I had to make the hard phone call to the vet about putting our senior dog down for his forever nap, but the place we had originally picked out for cremation was closed on Sundays. My cat, Sullivan got outside, and after 3 days of looking for him, I came home and found that he had been hit by a car outside my home on Sunday, December 20th, 2015.Not having a permanent place to bury him, I decided to have him cremated.I was a mess, and luckily my friend was with me to help wrap his body in a blanket and place him in a bag. She found this establishment and called and spoke to a man named Justin who told her I could bring him in first thing the next day and disclosed the pricing would be $135.When I saw a couple negative reviews, I became weary and I called another place that seemed local. However, the address was wrong and it was all the way in Columbia. The lady was very nice, but it would be $190, with complimentary pickup. I decided to call Justin.Justin greeted me when I called, and remembered speaking to my friend. His voice was kind. I asked if I should bring him in soon and he urged me to do so. I also asked about seeing him one last time to say goodbye, and he told me he could place the body on a table and cover him nicely so I could have a final moment with him. He also told me he would be cremated privately.As awful,gut wrenching and pain staking as the whole experience of losing my cat was, the kindness and compassion I felt from Justin really helped me along. He was curteous, professional, swift, empathetic. I had no experience in cremating a pet, so I had no idea what to expect. But he made the experience quick and easy. Never once did I not feel like I was handling the remains of a member of my family. Because Sully was treated as such. Justin even went the extra mile and fulfilled special requests of mine. And now I will have things to memorialize him forever.I didn't imagine myself having any peace over the situation as I was full of grief and guilt.But that night, I felt at peace, knowing I had him back with me, and that I had closure. Had I not seen his face, I might have entered denial, and believed he was still out there.I hope it is not for a very long time, but when I lose my other pets, I know I will only bring them here.I can't thank this establishment, or Justin enough.

Horrible! I called in grief minutes after finding my cat dead. My thoughts were scattered. Apparently I made an appointment that I didn’t remember. I just received a call and I explained that I’ve decided to bury my baby. She replied “you should have at least called” while I’m still grieving my loss. Completely unsympathetic to my feelings and situation. NEVER will they be a consideration again.

I would have given them 5 stars but on the day i dropped off my Gizmo, i asked for the blanket she was in. I was told i would get it when i picked her up. When i got there to get her, my blanket was missing. She said they lost it but would find it and bring it to me. When they found out i drove over an hour to get there, it became we will mail it. Its been 3weeks and I've called and called and i was told they are too busy for me. Ive broke my elbow but it looks like if i ever want her blanket back i have to make that drive again myself. Very disappointing!..took a month but I got my late fathers blanket back. 5 stars!!

I'm very proud to say that Miss Lucy and Mr Nick are the two most wonderful people when it comes to your pet passing away they care so much about you and your pet they know you are grieving and the way they took care of me and my little shoe shine just amazed me Nick made sure I knew that shoe shine would be okay and that it was only going to be her being cremated at that time they make sure they only do one pet at a time so you know for sure you are getting your beloved pet back I can't say enough good things about these people the way they made shoeshine a priority jus took my breath away because I did not want to leave my baby there but they assured me she would be safe and return to me as soon as they were done and she wasi picked my fur baby up the following day so if you have a pet that you have lost an had 5o cross the rainbow bridge then I would take them to Nashville pet crematory they will make you feel loved they will make you feel like your fur baby is the best animal ever because they are to us so I highly highly highly recommend them and my little shoe shines sister when she decides she has to cross the rainbow bridge she will also go there so again thank you Miss Lucy thank you Mr Nick for everything you have done for myself and for my little shoe shine we are very grateful for your caring hearts in this time of need bless y'all both

Going to leave this right here so maybe you can explain. I have to have my baby put down today and I'm searching for a place for cremation services. Now I find it quite interesting and quite frankly a bit alarming...this is what I would call RED FLAGS btw...that you are operating the same business under 2 different names at the same time with 2 different sets of Google reviews...is that even legal? Maybe it is, I don't really know, just seems a bit fishy to me, as well as the well over 50% number of 5 star reviews from people who have only ever posted one review and have no other Google online presence what so ever. You see I rely heavily on reviews when deciding who to do business with and I have gotten pretty good at spotting these things but because you have no bad reviews I did at least give you 3 stars but just not feeling that 5 star vibe with what feels like some dishonesty going on and therefore not willing to trust this crucial decision to be put in your hands sorry to say.

We recently had to say goodbye to our family dog, Sassy. Nashville Pet Crematory and Mitchell went out of their way to help us through a difficult time. Mitchell was sympathetic and compassionate about our loss. I can't recomend them enough and I'm very appreciative to Mitchell for his genuine kindness.

My best friend (dog) passed away several months ago.I was crippled at the time, and I had expected to have years more with him, so I was extremely distraught. Nashville crematory was the only place I could take him, as I couldn’t dig, and it was all I could do just to get him to the car.I cannot overstate how grateful I am for their actions towards me. It was around 2 am, I had to drive from an hour and a half away with him in the back. When I got there the nice man took care of everything. I was able to focus on what was important and their kindness was so appreciated. Thank you.

The owner showed us a great amount of empathy when we dropped off our baby there. The fact that it’s guaranteed that it’s individual and will not be mixed provides some comfort during the most difficult time. The service is affordable and reasonably priced. Thank you.

My cat, Sullivan got outside, and after 3 days of looking for him, I came home and found that he had been hit by a car outside my home on Sunday, December 20th, 2015.Not having a permanent place to bury him, I decided to have him cremated.I was a mess, and luckily my friend was with me to help wrap his body in a blanket and place him in a bag. She found this establishment and called and spoke to a man named Justin who told her I could bring him in first thing the next day and disclosed the pricing would be $135.When I saw a couple negative reviews, I became weary and I called another place that seemed local. However, the address was wrong and it was all the way in Columbia. The lady was very nice, but it would be $190, with complimentary pickup. I decided to call Justin.Justin greeted me when I called, and remembered speaking to my friend. His voice was kind. I asked if I should bring him in soon and he urged me to do so. I also asked about seeing him one last time to say goodbye, and he told me he could place the body on a table and cover him nicely so I could have a final moment with him. He also told me he would be cremated privately.As awful,gut wrenching and pain staking as the whole experience of losing my cat was, the kindness and compassion I felt from Justin really helped me along. He was curteous, professional, swift, empathetic. I had no experience in cremating a pet, so I had no idea what to expect. But he made the experience quick and easy. Never once did I not feel like I was handling the remains of a member of my family. Because Sully was treated as such. Justin even went the extra mile and fulfilled special requests of mine. And now I will have things to memorialize him forever.I didn't imagine myself having any peace over the situation as I was full of grief and guilt.But that night, I felt at peace, knowing I had him back with me, and that I had closure. Had I not seen his face, I might have entered denial, and believed he was still out there.I hope it is not for a very long time, but when I lose my other pets, I know I will only bring them here.I can't thank this establishment, or Justin enough.

Horrible! I called in grief minutes after finding my cat dead. My thoughts were scattered. Apparently I made an appointment that I didn’t remember. I just received a call and I explained that I’ve decided to bury my baby. She replied “you should have at least called” while I’m still grieving my loss. Completely unsympathetic to my feelings and situation. NEVER will they be a consideration again.

I was in need of my sweet cat to be taken care of with her remains. the owner called me back in minutes on memorial day.. dropped my baby off an hour later and was satisfied with the service and concern with my broke heart.. thanks so much for being there when i was in need.

I would have given them 5 stars but on the day i dropped off my Gizmo, i asked for the blanket she was in. I was told i would get it when i picked her up. When i got there to get her, my blanket was missing. She said they lost it but would find it and bring it to me. When they found out i drove over an hour to get there, it became we will mail it. Its been 3weeks and I've called and called and i was told they are too busy for me. Ive broke my elbow but it looks like if i ever want her blanket back i have to make that drive again myself. Very disappointing!..took a month but I got my late fathers blanket back. 5 stars!!

I'm very proud to say that Miss Lucy and Mr Nick are the two most wonderful people when it comes to your pet passing away they care so much about you and your pet they know you are grieving and the way they took care of me and my little shoe shine just amazed me Nick made sure I knew that shoe shine would be okay and that it was only going to be her being cremated at that time they make sure they only do one pet at a time so you know for sure you are getting your beloved pet back I can't say enough good things about these people the way they made shoeshine a priority jus took my breath away because I did not want to leave my baby there but they assured me she would be safe and return to me as soon as they were done and she wasi picked my fur baby up the following day so if you have a pet that you have lost an had 5o cross the rainbow bridge then I would take them to Nashville pet crematory they will make you feel loved they will make you feel like your fur baby is the best animal ever because they are to us so I highly highly highly recommend them and my little shoe shines sister when she decides she has to cross the rainbow bridge she will also go there so again thank you Miss Lucy thank you Mr Nick for everything you have done for myself and for my little shoe shine we are very grateful for your caring hearts in this time of need bless y'all both
