It appears they took wonderful care of my dog after she passed away at home. The service was timely and I was called to pick up as soon as she was ready for me to pick up.My only complaint is with the person we dealt with. I called the morning after my dog passed to ask if we needed an appointment to bring her to them or something of that nature, the person on the phone was quite bright and happy on the phone, offered no condolence even though I explained what had happened. She told me we could come by any time and that she would "see us soon!"When we brought my girl in, we walked into the office to discuss arrangements first, the same person (Suzie I believe) was there and we went over information that she needed and aftercare arrangements. Again she offered not a single condolence despite me talking through tears, she spoke in a chipper peppy tone, it was a very transactional encounter. It really made me feel like I was checking out at the grocery store instead of having just dealt with the loss of my best friend.I've worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years and even in end of life pet care, I understand what it is to have to switch on and off with your tone and how that can be difficult. I don't expect someone to cry with me but a simple "I'm sorry for your loss" and a little less enthusiasm could really have gone a long way. I was really taken back by her demeanor and nonchalant attitude. I did say something about it to her in the office but it's hard to offer constructive criticism when you're trying to keep it together after a devastating loss.My girl is home now. My husband picked her up from a man at the office (unfortunately I don't know his name) because I didn't want to go and potentially see this lady again. He was apparently much more pleasant to deal with and was very kind. The keepsakes are nice and everything is well labeled so I really do feel like I have gotten my girl back.I do recommend the use of this service. However, if you are going to transport your pet to them yourself, I would recommend having someone help with phone calls and arrangements at the office to prevent having the same experience I did.

If I could give Heavenly Paws 100 stars, I would. From start to finish, they handled the loss of my sweet Nelly with gentleness, kindness, and professionalism. The entire process was done in a timely manner and her paw print and ashes were preserved perfectly. Heavenly Paws made a very difficult time in our lives a little bit easier, and for that I am forever grateful!

As the manager of a veterinary hospital, I can confidently say this has been the best experience we’ve ever had with a cremation service. Heavenly Paws provides exceptional professionalism, kindness, and compassion in caring for our patients. Whether you're seeking care for your pet or are a practice manager looking for a reliable partner, I highly recommend Heavenly Paws!

I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. The website leads you to believe that you will know where your pet is at all times. This is definitely not the case. My dog was not picked up as planned. When I called a few days later to see if she was finally picked up, I was told "she should have been". How did they not know where she was??? It was just a difficult time already, and this process made it more stressful. The price was good but I can't say that I would recommend this company or use them again.
