I can’t say enough about the kindness and compassion shown to us during the time of making the cremation arrangements for my mom. Ms Vanderpool and Mr Moore walked us through the whole process and explained all the forms as we made the arrangements. They offered suggestions when asked about a proper style of Urn needed for her ashes and the type of ceremony we would be having. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone needing their services. Losing a loved one is hard enough but they made the arrangements easy.

My husband died unexpectedly while we were out of town in Nashville. One call to Jenna Wolfgang at Williams was the start of making the hardest time of my life a little easier. She kept me informed every step of the way, and she and Rebecca Bynum made it possible for my stepson and I to see my husband one last time before his cremation. Living in Knoxville, I wasn't comfortable with having his ashes shipped, so I planned to make the trip to pick him up. Jenna called and volunteered to bring him to my home while in Knoxville for Thanksgiving. Customer service like this is almost unheard of today, and it made the most difficult thing I have ever had to do a little easier. Her warmth and genuine compassion will never be forgotten.

We had unexpectedly lost our fur baby on 8-28-21. Williams Funeral Home was the 1st place I had called to have my girl cremated. The employees were so respectful & very helpful throughout the whole process! I’m very satisfied with their service & I adore my baby’s urn! We chose to have her picture engraved & the picture below was the 1 we had chosen to use & as you can see in the photo of her urn, it is identical to our girl! Highly recommend. I have so much to say I don't know where to start but I will tell you that if you are dealing with a loss, you won't feel more cared about anywhere else. It's a beautiful facility with highly professional and empathetic staff. I deal with high anxiety and was left to handle this step alone and my feet and legs felt like lead and I walked from my car to the front door of the facility. Within minutes I was in a beautiful room with a caring, professional staff member who walked me through the process, had kleenex, and gave me all the time I needed to process what I needed to do. My stress melted and I walked out of the facility feeling... lighter and successful. They handled all the necessary paperwork. It's been almost a month and I'm tearing up just writing this, remembering that I wasn't just a number. Everything was perfect.

The folks make the experience of the toughest moment in your life easier. You are surrounded with love and concern to make sure your family members wishes are honored. They even kept out some people my family member did not want to see her after her death. That isn't easy! They did it any way. I spent a several hours at Williams last weekend as we celebrated the life of a dear friend. I have never felt more “at home” in a funeral home in my life. The staff was so warm and welcoming to all of us. John, Val, and Jenna were always close by whenever there was a need. The professional staff at Williams Funeral Home have been most considerate and kind to me an my family over the last 7 years. Both parents made pre-arrangement choices with WFH prior to their needs years later. In 2018, my sisters and I worked with WFH for our Mother's arrangements and again this past October 2023 for our Father's arrangements. We recently were faced with the unfortunate situation to have to choose a funeral home for my mother after she passed unexpectedly. We looked in Columbia and Spring Hill but once we visited Williams Funeral Home, we felt that it was the right place to handle our mother’s arrangements. Val, our Funeral Director, walked through each step of the process with care and respect. At a time when making decisions was so painful, she gave us ease and offered her advice with empathy and kindness.The facility was beautiful and it offered several places within where family and friends could gather and visit privately. It was even kid friendly and was equipped with a play room full of toys! All of our family were very impressed with the building and staff there. They accommodated our wants and needs to facilitate a beautiful Celebration of Life Service. We chose the right place for our mom because she deserves only the best!

I would never have another funeral at Williamson in Columbia. They're leased out the hospitality room to a Bridle Shower. Was bought to our attention, the day before my husband's funeral. So Tacky and inappropriate. Also our family trying to mourn the loss of my husband of 42 years. Yonger and older gentleman laughing at doors. Had to ask my son to close them. He looked great in casket but that was it. He was not in the right room for viewing and had to move pictures around ourselve!

I recently lost my Dad to COVID-19. The entire staff at Williams Funeral Home were amazingly kind, understanding and supportive during a most difficult time for my family and me. Throughout the entire process very reasonably-priced options were presented, and thoughtful suggestions were made (such as including his obituary in our home town’s local paper in TX, for one example). They helped me resolve some financial issues with his care facility to boot, for which I am extremely grateful. I cannot express how thankful I am to every one of the people I met and worked with at Williams. It felt like dealing with caring family members, and in fact I really feel I made some new friends there. I highly recommend Williams Funeral Home to all who may find themselves in need of their services. They will treat you and your family with the utmost care, kindness and respect you deserve.

The people at Williams were very nice to me and my family. They are so very professional too! When me and my family first walked in they treated us like Kings and queens they offered us cold water or coffee to drink.and a small tour of there funeral home . It was big and super nice! They treated my mom ( God rest her soul ) with the up right most respect.The staff at Williams was super nice. They always kept asking us " Is there anything that we can do for you please?. And we love that. They are the most caring people that me and my family has ever met in a sad time like we had. Very uplifting people.And the prices they offered was a really fair. They're not out there to rip you off. But to see things that is fair.Not to sound strange but... When it's time for me to go.... This is the funeral home I want to go....... She made the entire process as seamless as was possible. Jenna gave us answers to questions that we didn't even know we needed to ask. Jenna grieved with us and became a part of our family. Williams Funeral Home has been used in my family for decades. I remember as far back as 1977 when my Brother passed away, they have always provided genuine, courteous, and understanding care for everyone's loved ones.I was deeply saddened when the original building was destroyed by fire, but the new building displays even more of the care and loyalty that these professionals share on a daily basis.I more than highly recommend Williams Funeral Home to everyone in their time of grief. My cousin died suddenly after having just moved to Tennessee. I cannot say enough nice things about the Williams Funeral Home. All of the staff that we dealt with were incredibly supportive and kind. They truly made this tragedy a little bit easier. We had some special requests that they were able to honor without question. I recently lost my Dad to COVID-19. The entire staff at Williams Funeral Home were amazingly kind, understanding and supportive during a most difficult time for my family and me. Throughout the entire process very reasonably-priced options were presented, and thoughtful suggestions were made (such as including his obituary in our home town’s local paper in TX, for one example). They helped me resolve some financial issues with his care facility to boot, for which I am extremely grateful. I cannot express how thankful I am to every one of the people I met and worked with at Williams. It felt like dealing with caring family members, and in fact I really feel I made some new friends there. I highly recommend Williams Funeral Home to all who may find themselves in need of their services. They will treat you and your family with the utmost care, kindness and respect you deserve.

The people at Williams were very nice to me and my family. They are so very professional too! When me and my family first walked in they treated us like Kings and queens they offered us cold water or coffee to drink.and a small tour of there funeral home . It was big and super nice! They treated my mom ( God rest her soul ) with the up right most respect.The staff at Williams was super nice. They always kept asking us " Is there anything that we can do for you please?. And we love that. They are the most caring people that me and my family has ever met in a sad time like we had. Very uplifting people.And the prices they offered was a really fair. Took a month to cremated my son. Waiting 31/2 weeks to ask if my ex-husband had signed the paper. They sent no papers ,or mentioned them the 6 or 7 times I called. Answering service answers even when hours said they were open.. we were told 5- 15 days..so my son was left frozen a month. It's hard enough losing someone. Sorry to have inconvenience them.

I’d like to thank williams funeral home for their services in helping me and my family in the loss of our sweet loved one Deborah Greene, my sweet grandmother passed away January 1st and she can’t even rest without there being so much negativity I 100% approve Williams funeral home for anyone that has lost a loved one I thank all the staff/workers for all of their help now all I want is for my sweet grandmother to able to rest peacefully ❤️
