I would give 10 stars if I could!! During my family time of bereavement this funeral home was my best choice. They did an awesome job on the services for my grandmother!! She looked awesome.. Montez explained things to my liking and he was of good counsel to me n my love ones. The best advice I could ever give is Greater Orangeburg Funeral Home is definitely Doing great things in Orangeburg. Try them u won't be disappointed.

The name Greater Orangeburg Funeral Home speaks for itself. The love and compassion shown to our family during the passing of my Aunt, Greatchen Matthews is beyond comparison. We thank God for everyone associated with this ministry because that’s what they are and we highly recommend them.

The customer service is beyond impeccable! Montez is truly called for this line of work and it shows in his willingness to selflessly help families without any hesitation. When I called to bury my God-daughter, he dropped everything to assist me with the process and thoroughly helped me every step of the way! He also assisted me with creating a cost efficient, yet beautiful funeral for my loved one! In times of sorrow this is the type of service everyone needs, so look no further than Greater Orangeburg Funeral Home!!

You will never know who you need in life until you need them. I had no idea how much I needed Greater Orangeburg funeral home services until I found myself at my lowest! It started with Montez calling my sister back. We called several other places because they were a familiar name. I couldn’t have made a better choice. They went above and beyond for me. I’m forever indebted to the love shown to me and my family. Mrs. Jennifer and Montez Haynes along with Geoffrey Henderson will forever have my respect!

Greater Orangeburg Funeral answered a call at 4am. Mrs. Stroman and Mr. Haynes along with Geoffrey Henderson took on the task of providing my family with the very best service. Montez Haynes went beyond his duties to find the most beautiful resting bed for our “Angel”. We as a family was truly pleased with the care and kindness shown during our time of need. Oftentimes, we don’t take the time to leave a review unless it’s negative. 🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s true. But I wanted to take a moment to recognize Greater Orangeburg Funeral Home and Montez PV HaynesLosing my mother has been by far the hardest thing I’ve been through in my entire life. From the moment Our family called and solicited their services, We felt like the care given went above and beyond. Montez and the entire staff literally made the hardest time of our lives, so much easier in regards to laying her to rest. He laughed with us, cried with us, counseled us, and gave our mother a homegoing celebration fit for the queen that she was...down to displaying personal things about her…never seen anything like it in my life. Attention to the smallest details from conversationNow of course you pay for a service so it’s part of what you expect..they do what they do well and on to the next. Nope! Not with this funeral home. Knowing it would be the hardest day, we received messages of encouragement from Montez on Mother’s Day..a day where he should be concerned with his own mom and wife, he took a moment and reached out to make sure We were okay. And weeks later, STILL cares enough to reach out to my husband, family, and I. He doesn’t have to do all of that, but he does. He literally meant it when he said “we are a family here, and now you’re a part of that.”Unfortunately in his line of work I hope no one EVERRRRRRRR has to see him and I never get to make a referral, 😂😂but that is unrealistic as we are all going to have it happen at some point. If you do, hands down go to Greater Orangeburg Funeral Home. They actually CARE about you. It’s not about money, it’s about ministry!EDIT TO ADD: prime example of above and beyond service and excellence-each member of their staff wore my mothers favorite color during her public viewing AND her service. 🥹Where they do that at?? Greater Orangeburg funeral home that’s where!

Mr. Montez and the staff assisted me in a difficult moment. We had no insurance. They took us at our word that we would have the money within 5 days for the funeral and we did. Knowing that we did not have the funds at that moment they never made us feel bad. We had top notch assistance and a funeral fit for a king. The service was better than what we were able to afford. They paid attention to detail and executed with excellence. They even came to the repast and loved on the family afterwards. Oh, our love one looked liked he was smiling in his sleep. Amazing.... I promise you, You will not be disappointed

GREATER ORANGEBURG FUNERAL HOME exceeded all expectations! Compassionate, patient, accommodating and professional service, VERY responsive....Staff was on time, well dressed, and IN CHARGE! Everything was exceptional!!!Staff prayed over and with us during this most difficult time in our lives. Our family was embraced the moment we contacted them and the follow up care was an unexpected service but so needed!Truly the best service you never want to receive ❤️. The staff makes the unbearable process of planning bearable! Even though the occasion caught us off guard we were in very capable and caring hands! We HIGHLY recommend you contact them and allow them to serve you during your time of bereavement.

Do Not order Flowers from their website they out source to another company. Flowers were never sent for my cousins' funeral. This was very heartbreaking seeing that I was out of state and couldn't attend.
