From the time I called right after my sweet boy, Peanut passed away to the time I brought him to the facility, I was shown compassion and kindness by Ashley. She took us to a private room where I could spend my final moments with him alone and when I was ready we went over the cremation plan which was made easy and not overwhelming in this difficult time. I received updates throughout the process and was able to get his ashes the same day. I also got his clay pawprint and some of his hair. She also made a mold of his nose to be turned into a necklace. Everything was beautiful when I received it and I will always have these things to cherish. They took amazing care of my pup. If you ever go through this heartbreak, know that they will take care of you and your fur babies through every step.

Peaceful Paws helped me navigate the process when my almost 17 year old girl passed away last September. They came to get her on a Sunday morning and then stayed in communication with me the whole time during the cremation process. When I picked up her ashes, I was able to purchase a few things to honor her. Great selection of urns and other little things to honor my girl Badass. I cannot say enough about how wonderful everyone here was. This was such a difficult loss and they were able to make it somewhat less painful. The process was extremely smooth. They treated my Sammy with the same respect any human family member would be treated with which I greatly appreciated. My review is long overdue. My family used Peaceful Paws Mortuary & Crematory earlier this year, to say goodbye to our beloved princess, Ahkya. I am so grateful for the compassionate care they provided during such a difficult time. From the moment I called, they were empathetic, patient, and understanding, taking the time to walk me through the process and answer all of my questions. In less than 30 minutes after the phone call, they were there to meet me and help me with my girl.The chapel was clean and peaceful, and I felt confident that my pet would be treated with the utmost dignity and respect. The staff even took the time to listen to my stories and memories of my pet, providing comfort and solace during a time of great sorrow.They have a great selection of urns, all so beautiful and it made it a little hard to choose. I found the perfect one for her. When I received my pet's ashes, I was touched by the thoughtful way they were presented, and I appreciate the care that went into every step of the process. We did the private cremation and also received a certificate along with her urn. I would HIGHLY recommend Peaceful Paws Mortuary & Crematory to anyone seeking a compassionate and professional pet cremation service. Camryn and Ashley were there for us in our unexpected time of need. Called on a Saturday 1/14 after Kaylee passed in my arms. We were so upset when we called Peaceful Paws. Jonathan was so kind and understanding. He has us bring Kaylee right over. So I will admit it has taken a month for me to write this. They were great at the time of my great lost. They worked with my veterinarian to get the remains of my beloved Irish. They informed me ever step of the way. They also made sure I had no questions. I had the remains sent back to my vet's office. They made sure I knew and could pick them. The paw print they did nearly broke my heart all over again. I could not recommend a better place.

We had the best experience possible with Peaceful Paws after my 14yo chinchilla passed away shortly after Thanksgiving. We called several other places in and around Columbia and they were BY FAR the most affordable and we still got our buddy back in a beautiful wooden box and they even took the time to make paw print impressions. They were very kind, compassionate, and professional and they kept us in the loop for every step of the process which was a great comfort. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. After our 15 year old Pitbull crossed the rainbow bridge, Peaceful Paws answered immediately when another company didn’t call me back until the next afternoon. Camryn was so sweet and kind and genuinely made an awful night much more comfortable. It was late when we called and they still came and got our Milton that night and had him cremated and back home to us by noon the next day. They kept in touch throughout the process and truly made us feel cared for. I am so grateful for their services. While I hope I won’t need them for a long, long, L O N G time, I will never use another company.

Our beloved chihuahua, Fernando, passed away peacefully at home with his family this past Saturday and we were trying to find somewhere that we could take him to be cremated, difficult to do over the weekend. We found the Peaceful Paws website and we called to see if they could help us. Even though they are available 24/7, because our call was after normal hours, we reached their emergency answering service. They promised a call back from Peaceful Paws directly quickly and that’s exactly what we got.The people who work there were so kind and so understanding during what was a very, very difficult time for my family. We called around 7:45 am on Saturday and they were able to meet us at 9:15 am that same day. The inside is set up just like a funeral home, but smaller for pets. It’s so welcoming and comforting. Our director, Robbie, was just so patient and understanding with us. He gently walked us through our options and the process thoroughly so we knew what to expect. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they offer so many services to help you immortalize your pet . It’s just wonderful, I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are people who truly understand the unbearable pain of losing the unconditional love of a beloved pet.

Called on a Saturday 1/14 after Kaylee passed in my arms. We were so upset when we called Peaceful Paws. Jonathan was so kind and understanding. He has us bring Kaylee right over. Couldn’t have asked for better care for my baby that passed Monday morning. Robbie even met us at the facility at 1 am when we left the emergency vet. We just went and picked up her ashes, paw print, and hair clipping today. They were amazing through the entire process and we were contacted through every step of it. They even took enough care during the fur clipping to make sure they retrieved a spot from every different color pattern on her and let her keep her favorite blanket with her and returned it when we picked her up. They typed up an amazing obituary and contacted us multiple times to make sure we were pleased with it. Every person I spoke to was so caring and they are a blessing to the community.

So I will admit it has taken a month for me to write this. They were great at the time of my great lost. They worked with my veterinarian to get the remains of my beloved Irish. They informed me ever step of the way. They also made sure I had no questions. I had the remains sent back to my vet's office. They made sure I knew and could pick them. After our 15 year old Pitbull crossed the rainbow bridge, Peaceful Paws answered immediately when another company didn’t call me back until the next afternoon. Camryn was so sweet and kind and genuinely made an awful night much more comfortable. It was late when we called and they still came and got our Milton that night and had him cremated and back home to us by noon the next day. They kept in touch throughout the process and truly made us feel cared for. I am so grateful for their services. My Gabby Girl (baby goat) passed away Valentine's Day night at 9pm, they were recommended to me by our vet, I called them 2/15 at 8am, had Gabby to them by 10am, chose the package fit for my girl. Jason let me spend as much time with my girl as I wanted without ever rushing me, he let me do her hoove print myself, offered to let me cut her fur if I wanted to for the little vile I bought from them for her hair clippings. They took care of my girl and had her ashes ready for me to pick up on 2/16. I highly recommend Peaceful Paws to anyone who wants to cremate their pet, I know they also offer burial services as well. For one of the worst and saddest times in life, Peaceful Paws make this experience as comforting as possible. We didn’t have much warning that we would be making the difficult decision to let our 12+ golden retriever cross the Rainbow Bridge. It was a Saturday morning and after unsuccessfully reaching out to other entities that could help with what we needed and wanted to do, I came across and called Peaceful Paws. They listened to our situation and said they would be able to help with both putting our dog to sleep as well as with the cremation process. While they service several counties, Lexington wasn’t one of them so there would be an additional fee secondary to not being in one of those counties. They listened to what we wanted, made some calls, then called so we could coordinate next steps. They worked direct with a veterinarian and both came to our home as we worked together to tell our pup goodbye. Ark Veterinary Dr Blackwell, her assistant and Jonathan Proctor with PP comforted all of us as a family as well as our pet. We were not rushed and were able to share stories with them about our 4 legged family member. They allowed us to determine when we were ready. They walked us through every step.Once we were ready for them to take our pet away, they kept the lines of communication wide open. We received emails and/or phone calls as our pet went through the next steps until I was able to pick up his ashes. Peaceful Paws will be my go to for any future needs with our 4 legged family members. I can’t say enough positive and good things about Peaceful Paws. Our beloved chihuahua, Fernando, passed away peacefully at home with his family this past Saturday and we were trying to find somewhere that we could take him to be cremated, difficult to do over the weekend. We found the Peaceful Paws website and we called to see if they could help us. Even though they are available 24/7, because our call was after normal hours, we reached their emergency answering service. They promised a call back from Peaceful Paws directly quickly and that’s exactly what we got.The people who work there were so kind and so understanding during what was a very, very difficult time for my family. We called around 7:45 am on Saturday and they were able to meet us at 9:15 am that same day. The inside is set up just like a funeral home, but smaller for pets. It’s so welcoming and comforting. Our director, Robbie, was just so patient and understanding with us. He gently walked us through our options and the process thoroughly so we knew what to expect. Their prices are extremely reasonable and they offer so many services to help you immortalize your pet . It’s just wonderful, I can’t recommend them highly enough. They are people who truly understand the unbearable pain of losing the unconditional love of a beloved pet.

Found Jonathan and Peaceful Paws on Facebook after a mutual friend used their services. Little did I know I would be in need of services so soon. My mom and I came to the heart breaking decision of putting our 18 year old Dapple Dachshund/Shih tzu mix to sleep. It was time, and we all knew it was time but it's still never easy. Jonathan was so friendly and caring with us, as well as Allen, who picked our baby up from the vet. Our vet recommended we use Peaceful Paws when are kitten unexpectedly passed, and i am glad that we did. They were great! They drove to our house and explained all of our options to us. We are so glad we used Peaceful Paws when our precious Pumpkin passed away suddenly & unexpectedly. Peaceful Paws was kind, gracious, patient, considerate, thoughtful & professional with us. My daughter's pet past at 7pm on a Saturday night. I called the office and Jonathan picked up right away and told me to bring her on in. He was very professional and helpful. Let me know when the cremation started and finished. And when I picked her up Allen was so professional and friendly. It was a wonderful experience during such a sad time. Allen and all of the peaceful paws team were fantastic from the moment I called. Our car unexpectedly passed away the night before I had a day of moving planned complete with a uhaul rental. They graciously worked around my time and when I thought I would be late they moved the time out to later in the evening to accommodate me and my cat. Upon arriving I was greeted before I got to the door and asked if I needed help carrying my pet inside, I was led to a very beautiful room set up with seating for visitation from family and complete with an alter for your pet to sit on. They asked me if I wanted time to spend with my cat before doing anything else. Afterwards I was led to a room full of urns, caskets, and jewelry to choose from for my cat. I chose the standard wooden urn that is beautifully detailed with little flowers. The payment process was quick and easy and the best price around. I was given a tribute sheet for me and my daugther to fill out about our pet for them to place on the website. I was promptly updated about my cats cremation tag # and the entire process via my email. I was called the following Monday (my cat passed away on Friday night and dropped off Saturday evening, although Mr. Allen informed me they are available at any hour which I did not know the evening it happened, I was waiting for my vet to open and discovered the price went up and that's when I searched for private places around me) to tell me I could pick up his ashes. They promptly got me in and even worked around my work schedule since I travel a tremendous amount. 5 stars and 10/10 recommend them for the passing of your pets. Thank you all for what you did for my daughters cat and the way that you made sure we were taken care of by any means.

Found Jonathan and Peaceful Paws on Facebook after a mutual friend used their services. Little did I know I would be in need of services so soon. My mom and I came to the heart breaking decision of putting our 18 year old Dapple Dachshund/Shih tzu mix to sleep. It was time, and we all knew it was time but it's still never easy. Jonathan was so friendly and caring with us, as well as Allen, who picked our baby up from the vet. They answered all my numerous questions with grace and care and made sure that we knew every step of the process. I brought our "baby girl" home just a few days ago. Her box is absolutely beautiful, her paw print in clay was the perfect added sentiment! I'm so grateful that I found them! I could not have had a better experience!

Heather initially met with us on the day our sweet girl passed and could not have been more kind and wonderful. She explained the process to us, helped us complete the paperwork and allowed us as much time as we needed to say our final goodbyes. We unexpectedly lost our 7 month old great dane last Tuesday. I called around 415 am and they answered promptly and met me at their office around 530 in the morning to take our Obi. They were prompt and professional and helped my husband take him into the facility. They walked us through some basic paperwork and got us all set up. They allowed us to see him again before we left. We chose a private cremation and Obi was ready for pick up later the same day. They posted an obituary on their page for us and people were able to comment and leave condolences. Obi was put in an adorned box and they gave us a mold of his pawprint. They also gave us paperwork with the option to get his nose and paw engraved into jewelry and stuff. When I went to pick him up they had me sign release forms and they even gave my other great dane that was with me a treat. They were very caring and professional and everything went smoothly. They even offered me tissues and had an entire room set up for viewing. (Granted our obi was rather large.) Obviously no one ever wants to use places like this but I am glad we found them to use. I will definitely use them in the future when my other fur babies cross the rainbow bridge. Having been through this process with another facility in february I wish I would have known about this one sooner. They made a terrible experience a little more bearable. I would recommend them to everyone.

This is amazing place I wish I knew of them as of all my past pets most have been cremated they really care and it's like you are dealing with a death of human relative I'm telling all about Peaceful paws mortuary it's the best and only experience ❤️ I have felt the real care of losing a pet

My dog passed away Oct 1st, I was so impressed by the compassion Peaceful paws not only treated my family, but also the care of my 13 year old furbaby, I highly recommend them to any family, they are wonderful people who don't rush you, take the time to listen, and keep you updated on the entire process, my girl is back home in a beautiful hurn with our family now
