Wish I could give 10/5 stars! Kristen is AMAZING! Goes above and beyond to make sure the most difficult times are as easy as possible. We were on vacation when we lost our beloved bulldog, Tug. After facing such a sudden and tragic loss of our girl Dixie, your sincere compassion and tireless accommodations do not go unnoticed. While on vacation at the beach for my husband’s birthday, our girl was tragically taken from us and Heavenly Paws was a Godsend. We appreciate you handling our case with grace and such delicacy, and for hand delivering our precious girl. As our vacation comes to an end, thanks to Kristen, we are able to take Dixie back home to Pennsylvania to her final resting place. 9/21/23 - We just picked up our Logan’s remains and cannot say enough about how he came back to us. We came down for our annual two weeks to North Myrtle. We brought our two small dogs since we knew the possibility of the one passing was possible. Well our dog did pass while on vacation with us. We had researched pet cremation services for the area before coming down & this business came recommended a few times. I can certainly say I see why. I’m very happy with my experience. Really everything was top notch. From communication to flexibility up front. Showed up on time as scheduled. Fast turnaround with ashes. The package you get is very nice as well between the ashes themselves in a velour bag, very nice card, paw print, certificate and tag for cremation records and a lock of hair in a bag. And compared to others in Myrtle beach the private cremation price was also very fair. I’d highly recommend heavenly paws services.

My sweet girl of almost 12 years passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday. They went above and beyond to accommodate us as much as possible. I want to thank you so much for the great service you provided for us and our Remi Girl. Ben responded right away and made arrangements to pick her up, talked me through the process and was very compassionate, understanding and respectful. When I requested the frozen characters on the plate I was almost certain it would be nearly impossible but Kristen said it wouldn’t be a problem at all and exceeded our expectations! That little picture holds great significance to our family (especially our toddler) since that is her representation of our family and it meant the world to her when you brought Remi (Sven) home and she seen it 💙 I hope to not need your services again but with life comes death and when I do, there’s nobody else I would call. I'm sharing our experience in a letter I wrote to Kristen. "Dear Kristen, we have never met. I sat in our car when you met us at a gas station not too far from your facility the week of Labor Day. You were delivering the remains of our Katie, my soul fur baby, and my husband got out of the car to meet you. We had just started a vacation after losing our other two senior fur babies the previous week. We did not know we were about to suddenly lose our Katie the first day we were at the beach. So yesterday, October 31, I finally had the courage to look inside the bag you handed my husband. Inside was a beautiful wooden box with Katies name inscribed on it, her paw print on a card and your compassionate, handwritten note of sympathy. You, Kristen, are a wonderful human. Thank you so much. Your act of kindness and love and treating our Katie with dignity has overwhelmed me. Words can not express how much you mean to me, even though we will never meet. Wow I don't even know how to begin to express the gratitude our family has for Heavenly Paws.The owner operator Kristen Robbins wrote such a lovely card to us with our lil girls remains keepsake memory box.My lil LaChloe was her Daddy's whole life for 14 years and for the last 8 years also her mommy and brother's lives. And so suddenly she passed from us into heaven last Sat. the 11th,the worst day of our lives.She had just kissed her Daddy and Mommy on the nose before she left to tell us she loved us so much but had to go.My lil girl had Congestive heart failure an couldn't hardly breathe.I am a 6 year Army Artillery veteran and have never cried like this ,over her passing, even for a person,when my Dad died in 97 I thought that was the worst...but as much as I adored him , losing my lil girl has devastated her Daddy and family.Our connection was more than love and happiness....it was spiritual the bond we shared.Lil LaChloe we will all see you again one day in heaven...as your Daddy lives and breathes still we will all be together again.Kristen and everyone at Heavenly Paws you blessed LaChloe's family so much with your kindness and concern and sweet sentiments.God bless you and your good work.From Susana,Nicholas,and Sterling (LaChloes totally broken hearted family)P.S. When our companion/baby left us we called Heavenly Paws they came to our home to pick her up. Kristen the owner was so polite profession and compassionate. She reassured us that everything will be taken of. When she brought back our girl we finally had some peace that she was home. The way she had everything made was outstanding and to our surprise she went far above what we had done in the past for one of our other companions. I just lost my beloved dog, Mel, a week ago. I received his cremains a few days ago and was so comforted by everything that was included. Kristen and her associates are absolutely amazing. We lost our beloved poodle early Sunday morning. When my husband called, because I surely couldn’t, Kristen was there in no time. She was compassionate and caring, within just a few minutes of her being there it was like we knew her forever. Our sweet girl passed unexpectedly & Heavenly Paws was the crematory service our Vet reccomended & we are nothing but satisfied. They came & picked up our dog, let us say our goodbyes & told us they would take good care of her. Kristin is one of the sweetest humans I have ever met. We had to send our little pug Hercules over the rainbow bridge this past Sunday. Kristen Robbins with Heavenly Paws was wonderful. She went above and beyond helping us with Hercules. They cremated our last 4 animals. This time when I called I was told they were busy picking up from vets offices in the afternoon. With our current pet he is passing at home and they said they were busy with their vet pickups. Not even an option for us to meet them at their facility with our pet when they returned. When our companion/baby left us we called Heavenly Paws they came to our home to pick her up. Kristen the owner was so polite profession and compassionate. She reassured us that everything will be taken of. When she brought back our girl we finally had some peace that she was home. The way she had everything made was outstanding and to our surprise she went far above what we had done in the past for one of our other companions. I just lost my beloved dog, Mel, a week ago. I received his cremains a few days ago and was so comforted by everything that was included. I lost my 18 year old chihuahua Pedro this week. I was understandably upset but wanted to make sure he was cared for properly. I have a great relationship with my vet and trust them implicitly. They sent him to Heavenly Paws. He was returned in less than 48 hours. The price was very reasonable. The box and engraved plaque were beautiful. Our sweet bulldog Izzy passed away at home and we were absolutely devastated. Our vet recommended Heavenly Paws, and I’m so glad they did. Kristen was so compassionate and came to our home. She was very careful with our baby and returned Izzy’s urn back to us in a few days. The urn is lovely. I asked if they could give us a clay paw print and they kindly did so. The care and compassion of Ben and kristen can't be beat it showed in our time of need for our baby. They were outstanding I've never been hugged by a funeral director but a hug was great when Ben picked up our baby shortly after we lost him. we we're walked through every step and Ben didn't leave until all our questions had been answered. The card Kristen wrote and paw print with his lock of hair was so sweet I am so thankful to have it.when ben brought our baby home he made sure everything was how we asked and he talked with us to make sure we were doing okay.the urn is beautiful and the engraved plate fit our baby perfect. We lost our cat, Lily, very unexpectedly on 7/1/18. It was a huge shock to us and we were heartbroken. When she was gone and we made arrangements at the animal hospital for her cremation, I was very nervous about how her little body would be handled once we left her. I told myself to relax and not bug the people at the cremation service. Then I noticed that the animal hospital had misspelled Lily's name- a common mistake, but I wanted to make sure her urn had her name spelled correctly. I called and left a voicemail with my concerns (I'm sure it wasn't very coherent- I hadn't slept since my girl passed and was very upset). Ben called me back within 2 hours and reassured me that he would make sure her name was spelled correctly on her urn. Then I broke down and asked him to explain the process to me. He did... he was very honest, thorough, patient, and didn't get off the phone until he was sure I didn't have more questions. I immediately felt better. After talking to him I finally felt ok enough to sleep for the first time since Lily passed. We got her back in two days in the most beautiful urn. We also got a card with her paw print which I wasn't expecting, and it is so special to me. I have so much comfort when I look at her urn and know she is with me, and I know they took great care of her. I don't want to have to use Heavenly Paws again for a long time... but when that time comes, I know who I will call. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We had to send our little pug Hercules over the rainbow bridge this past Sunday. Kristen Robbins with Heavenly Paws was wonderful. She went above and beyond helping us with Hercules. They cremated our last 4 animals. This time when I called I was told they were busy picking up from vets offices in the afternoon. With our current pet he is passing at home and they said they were busy with their vet pickups. Not even an option for us to meet them at their facility with our pet when they returned. We would have gladly took our boy to them as it's not very far from our home. Never again

I would not recommend any other crematorium. I lost my best friend and other half recently and I couldn't have asked for better treatment. Ben was so very compassionate and helped me find closure quickly. He wrapped my pup in a white fluffy blanket for his last ride and showed nothing but love and compassion to him. He returned him to me quickly in a beautiful wooden box with his name on a plaque and a clay imprint of his paw along with a ink print of his paw. Ben has a huge heart and put the up most importance in getting my baby back home. I couldn't have asked for anything better, thank you dearly, from the bottom of my heart, for bringing Rocket home again. And thank you for showing him so much love when I couldn't be by his side.

We recently lost our 16 year old dog. We called Heavenly Paws and received an immediate call back. They were available to pick up our dog 24 hours a day from our home. In the end we had to take our dog to an emergency vet who did business with Heavenly Paws. We took him in to the vet and put him to sleep Sunday night and by Tuesday night we had his remains back. The short turn around was a huge relief. His remains came in a beautiful box with a personalized plaque on the front. You can tell that Heavenly Paws treats your pet with the upmost respect. I cannot say enough great things about Heavenly Paws Pet Crematory. We lost our 20 year old cat on a Saturday afternoon and the emergency vet wanted a small fortune to cremate him alone. I called Ben and he offered to meet me right then so I did not have to store him over the weekend. He met us 20 minutes later and took my boy and we had him back Monday afternoon in a beautiful urn.

Ben and his wife were so caring and professional. Our 14 year shitzu died in my wifes arms on Sunday 1/20/19. We called them and they were so understanding of our devastation. The took our Sugar Plum our beloved shitzu of 14 years and returned our babies ashes in a beautiful urn engraved with Sugar Plum and a message we wanted on it. They brought her ashes to us today 1/22. And the charge was $175 and was worth every penny for the service and professional love they cared for our wonderful pet. On Thursday December 6th I came home to find my childhood cat dead, I called all around places in Wilmington with no luck of them answering even though they said they were open 24 hours a day. My fiancé just so happened to call heavenly paws at 9:32 at night and by 9:35 Ben had already called us back more than willing to help that same night. He even offered to even come and get our cat, us living so far away we just drove him to Ben, but he was nice enough to meet us at state line so we didn’t have to drive so far.. Today (December 8th) I was able to pick up his remains that came in a beautiful wood box. What got me emotional is the card that came with it, it had a locket of his hair in a baggy, a beautiful poem, and his paw print in it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience..

My cat Vinnie passed away just a few short days ago. I looked for animal cremation in my area, but no business was open on a Saturday. Then I found Heavenly Paws. Ben responded to us quickly and when we arrived, I couldn't have asked for a kinder person. Ben really sympathized with us and his concern and condolences were so genuine. Vinnies ashes were sent home to us in a pretty wooden urn and his name plate that had his name, birthday and a saying of my choosing written beautifully. I would recommend Heavenly Paws and Ben Robbins to anyone needing this service. Ben was very professional and compassionate. He picked up our cat Simba from Kind Care and delivered him back home to us in two days. It is comforting to know when our other two cats time to go comes, we can call on Ben and Heavenly Paws. Wish we could give more than 5 stars. Ben was fantastic in a difficult time. Our pup passed away unexpectedly overnight and he was no shrinking violet at 120 lbs. Ben was so kind and a calming presence when no one knows what to do exactly. No one wants to be in this position but Ben and Heavenly Paws eased all of our minds on a terribly bad day. We recently lost our 16 year old dog. We called Heavenly Paws and received an immediate call back. They were available to pick up our dog 24 hours a day from our home. In the end we had to take our dog to an emergency vet who did business with Heavenly Paws. We took him in to the vet and put him to sleep Sunday night and by Tuesday night we had his remains back. The short turn around was a huge relief. His remains came in a beautiful box with a personalized plaque on the front. You can tell that Heavenly Paws treats your pet with the upmost respect. I highly recommend Heavenly Paws.

On such an emotional morning, my husband called and Ben was more than compassionate. We felt like he went above and beyond on such 'short notice' and instead of us driving to him, he rearranged his time and came to us. I recommend Ben with Heavenly Paws to anyone. They are professional and prompt even when they swamped. I work at one the hospitals they service and on some days they come out to us 3 to 4 in one day. Not to mention the other hospitals they service which I know for a fact call Ben on a daily basis. So before anyone speaks against him take a step back and think you have no idea what it takes to run his kind of business not just physically but emotionally. You wouldn't last a day but thank the lord we are blessed is with someone like Ben that can help people in their time of need and doesn't just go through the motions he actually cares!

We lost our baby girl a week ago. My husband and I have felt the worst heartbreak. We got our baby girl 5 days after we got married so she’s grown with us! That girl went every where I went. I cannot say enough great things about Heavenly Paws Pet Crematory. We lost our 20 year old cat on a Saturday afternoon and the emergency vet wanted a small fortune to cremate him alone. I called Ben and he offered to meet me right then so I did not have to store him over the weekend. He met us 20 minutes later and took my boy and we had him back Monday afternoon in a beautiful urn.

Ben and his wife were so caring and professional. Our 14 year shitzu died in my wifes arms on Sunday 1/20/19. We called them and they were so understanding of our devastation. The took our Sugar Plum our beloved shitzu of 14 years and returned our babies ashes in a beautiful urn engraved with Sugar Plum and a message we wanted on it. They brought her ashes to us today 1/22. And the charge was $175 and was worth every penny for the service and professional love they cared for our wonderful pet. They both are truly caring and professional and care and loved our Sugar Plum as there own pet. They gave us emotional support when we needed the most. I highly recommend this very caring couple. On Thursday December 6th I came home to find my childhood cat dead, I called all around places in Wilmington with no luck of them answering even though they said they were open 24 hours a day. My fiancé just so happened to call heavenly paws at 9:32 at night and by 9:35 Ben had already called us back more than willing to help that same night. He even offered to even come and get our cat, us living so far away we just drove him to Ben, but he was nice enough to meet us at state line so we didn’t have to drive so far.. Today (December 8th) I was able to pick up his remains that came in a beautiful wood box. What got me emotional is the card that came with it, it had a locket of his hair in a baggy, a beautiful poem, and his paw print in it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience..

My cat Vinnie passed away just a few short days ago. I looked for animal cremation in my area, but no business was open on a Saturday. Then I found Heavenly Paws. Ben responded to us quickly and when we arrived, I couldn't have asked for a kinder person. Ben really sympathized with us and his concern and condolences were so genuine. Vinnies ashes were sent home to us in a pretty wooden urn and his name plate that had his name, birthday and a saying of my choosing written beautifully. Along with a sweet card with Vinnies paw print inside and a cremation certificate. I really couldn't ask for more during this devastating time. A huge thank you to Ben and his wife.

I understand that people have bad days. However I'm not happy with the service my best friend received. She requested more time with her beloved doggie and was texted negatively along with a condescending phone call. Here are screenshots to back up. At the end she did receive and apologetic call, but by then the damage was done. Have some compassion it is a loss of a family member. Kayla ... I’m so sorry this occurred.

I would not recommend this company. I called last night at 7:38pm about my dog that had passed. It is now 9:13 pm (over 24 hours later) and I still have not heard from them. 24/7 hmmmmm. Thank god for Burroughs Funeral home in Muriel's inlet. They are not 24/7 but I called the funeral home at 8:29Pm last night and got the answering service. Someone called me back at 8:32pm and walk me through the process. I went in the morning as soon as Burroughs Funeral Home opened and they were absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't recommend this company.

What kind of company that is listed as 24/7 does not answer their phone or at least return a phone call after we've left them a message. Our poor boxer has been laying out in our garage for 12+ hours. We called all night. Finally messaged the company on facebook and got thus response "I'm sorry we could not get back with you, we're extremely busy and over booked right now". Seriously? Then says they're "trying to maintain our existing clients". If you're going to run a pet funeral home basically you need to learn how it works. Maintain existing clients? Does that mean you have clients where their animals die daily? Or that your business is so bad that you have to keep in touch with the few that got to you when first started up your business to even have a business BECAUSE YOU CAN'T ANSWER A PHONE OR RETURN A MESSAGE. I work for a 24/7 company. Our phones are never off and if we can't get to you right away when you leave a message we contact you back as soon as possible. This place is beyond unprofessional.Update.Thanks for calling us back after the bad reviews get posted. Shows that you care more about your review than anything else. Like you did to us were doing to you. Ignoring the phone call. Good luck to anyone else.

My Boxer passed away yesterday 1.21.16 and I called the phone number 843-340-2087 numerous times at least 10 times. The first time I left a voice mail with my info. Each time I called it when to voice mail almost immediately. I had been referred and was told they were the best which is why I was trying to choose them. I had no luck getting anyone to contact me. So I went to Facebook trying to reach someone thinking they just might have phone problems. Because I hadn't even got a call back. I messaged the Company on facebook this morning 12+ hours after my wiggly butt boxer passed away. To finally get this response "I'm sorry we could not get back with you. We are extremely busy & overbooked right now. Our condolences for your loss. Ben" which is all good if it wasn't for my baby laying in the garage for 12 +hrs. You mean to tell me no one could have got back to me sooner so I could have figured out something else?! This is no way to treat Customers under these circumstances. I will never, Never use or try and get a hold of this company again! Very unprofessional especially under the circumstances. This could have all been resolved and handled better if they would have contacted me back to let me know they couldn't do anything for my baby. If you can't handle the business and at least acknowledge a customer then you should do another type of business. Especially with this type of company where it is really hard and emotional for some customers.An update: This is the response My Husband got from a message he left on their facebook page"Heavenly Paws Pet Crematory Since you people will not answer your phone:You are now harassing & defaming my business unfairly, and more importantly, untruthfully.Since you are now using your third account or name, after we had to block the "Eric Avalos" profile, I am now going to collect all information and send it to our lawyer.If you and your friends do not clean this (your posts here and on other websites) up in a reasonable amount of time, I am going to pursue legal means of rectification.I trust and cordially hope that you let your more mature nature take decisions from here. Ben was a very nice person and came to pick up our dog within 2 hours of our first phone call .The Urn was very nice carved cherry wood with an engraved gold plack ,and a paw print and lock of hair was a nice touch .Our vet recommended them and now so do I .

24/7 I don't think so! My pet passed away 930 pm made a call to Heavenly Paws went to voicemail which is fine but no return call even the next day had to call again. They call me back and state "we are extremely backed up and I'm under the weather so ? They did refer to another company.I guess will get better service when your slow again.

Don't deserve 1 star.They're not 24/7Phone went straight to VM, left message and never called back. It has been know 3 days and still now return call. Terrible customer service!!!!!My dog had just passed away and i was mourning. Yet they didn't care.

This place is great my family and I had to put our choclate lab Hershey down on 6/23 the emergency hospital used them very quick as well as loved the little footprint of Hershey the cremation certificate was incorrect called and not only was it corrected but she also drove to my home to hand deliver this place is a blue sky among a rainstorm thank you for making this a little easier

Ben was a very nice person and came to pick up our dog within 2 hours of our first phone call .The Urn was very nice carved cherry wood with an engraved gold plack ,and a paw print and lock of hair was a nice touch .Our vet recommended them and now so do I .

24/7 I don't think so! My pet passed away 930 pm made a call to Heavenly Paws went to voicemail which is fine but no return call even the next day had to call again. They call me back and state "we are extremely backed up and I'm under the weather so ? They did refer to another company.I guess will get better service when your slow again.

Don't deserve 1 star.They're not 24/7Phone went straight to VM, left message and never called back. It has been know 3 days and still now return call. Terrible customer service!!!!!My dog had just passed away and i was mourning. Yet they didn't care.

This place is great my family and I had to put our choclate lab Hershey down on 6/23 the emergency hospital used them very quick as well as loved the little footprint of Hershey the cremation certificate was incorrect called and not only was it corrected but she also drove to my home to hand deliver this place is a blue sky among a rainstorm thank you for making this a little easier

Our beloved Clover, who was with us for 11 wonderful years, passed away unexpectedly at home on 2/12/2025. I reached out to Kristen that evening, and she immediately arranged to come and pick him up. Her compassion and care during such a difficult time meant the world to us. When she returned Clover, he was in a beautiful, engraved box with a handwritten note, a lock of his hair, and a copy of his paw prints—a memory our family will forever treasure.
