I recently lost my girl of 16 years, Belle. CVETS of West Columbia sent her to Faithful Companion and they handled the process for me wonderfully. They were so compassionate on the phone letting me know Belle was ready to come home. They offered to bring her home for me since we do not live close to the facility. She was home just a few hours later. Even the young man who delivered Belle home for me was so kind and sincere in his condolences. I cannot imagine having the job these people have, but they are truly so kind. That is so nice to have through a process like this. Thank you for taking care of my girl for me. Thank you for bringing her home. It’s crazy how much more whole I feel just having her home with me again. 16 years with a dog is a long time, but the 2 days I went without her here felt even longer. Thank you again.

Our sweet Labrador Retriever “Buddy” crossed over on October 31, 2024. We use Cherokee Trail Veterinary Hospital for our pets and have for 11 years and love them. They recommended Faithful Companions as the place to have Buddy cremated for us. I cannot express adequately how wonderful Faithful Companions are! They are so prompt and kind and empathetic on the phone and we had our Buddy back in 24 hours. The quality of the gift bag, the reading material, rainbow bridge insert and the paw print impression with name and a special added red heart in the bottom right corner plus the nice wooden easel to put the paw print on, plus the amazing quality of the beautiful box for the ashes were all above anything we expected. We even have an identification tag attached to Buddy’s ashes which is officially recorded. This experience is far better than any we have had with our other beloved pets. Thank you so much for all your care and concern and excellent quality you provided in a time of such sadness in our lives. We will be recommending you to all of our friends.

Absolutely top notch. We had to have Paisley, our 12.5 year old black lab American bulldog mix, put down due to old age and failing health. We did it at home with a mobile vet so our autistic son would understand what happened to her. Ir was not rushed and let us say goodbye at our pace. Then the Faithful Companion folks came in and very gently removed her. That was Friday. They called Sunday and said her ashes were ready for pickup or delivery. It was no extra charge to bring her out to us in the country. They delivered her Monday morning. Everyone at Faithful Companion were kind, caring and thoughtful. I recommend them highly! Thank you for the kind and compassionate care!

We lost our baby Dexter yesterday afternoon at CVets and then he was sent to faithful companion for his cremation. I talked to 3 different people on the phone and they were all so compassionate and truly cared. They delivered him today to my house (40 minutes away) and the man who brought him to me was so compassionate and professional. I got to have my baby back home not even 24 hours after his passing thanks to them. I never write reviews but they truly deserve it. Thank you for taking such good care of him for us.

The staff were very clear and concise while on the phone and in person. Those who I spoke to very obviously know how to handle someone who has recently gone through hardship, they were wonderful.The process for retrieving my pet was straightforward with many options for me to choose from, ranging from delivery, to pickup, to delivery to my vet. The boxes and paw print were of great quality, and the included reading with my pet were all great picks. Essentially exactly what I needed to hear.I cannot sing their praises high enough - in a world of business that have grown non-personal and non-caring, Faithful Companion has been a light shining in darkness.

So, so thankful for this business, their staff, but most especially the owner who went completely above and beyond for my family today. Our 8 week old rescue kitten passed extremely suddenly and traumatically on Monday morning due to severe heart disease. I rushed her to CVETS who attempted to save her but ultimately, couldn’t. We decided to have her paw print casted & her be cremated. I was told I would get a call in a few days when her ashes were ready to be picked up. Unfortunately, the vet did not send over the correct paperwork and my sweet Goose was not done as a private cremation. I was hysterical this morning when I found out there were no ashes for me to pickup, and the owner immediately jumped into action. He apologized profusely, and through a miracle was able to locate my girls ashes for me. We were given her ashes in an engraved urn, a paw print cast, and a paw print shadow box completely free of charge. I cannot even express the relief and gratitude I felt knowing my girl was able to come home and rest peacefully with us. This extreme show of kindness and genuine compassion proves that this business GENUINELY cares about these pets and their families. When nobody else apologized to me, Faithful Companion DID and it was never their fault at all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I am comforted knowing my Goose was so carefully cared for until the very, very end.

We unexpectedly and tragically lost our very sweet young dog, most loving Westie, Clarkson, and the heartbreak and pain for our family was overwhelming. Faithful Companion showed us compassion and respect throughout this difficult time.They called to tell us that Clarkson was ready to come home to us within 24 hours, which meant so much. They even offered to bring him to us themselves. His ashes were presented in a beautiful wooden box, and they also provided a paw print ornament that we will treasure forever. Additionally, the bag included thoughtful grief resources, which gave us comfort and guidance as we began to process his loss. They told my husband that they were very sorry for our loss when he went to pick him up.We are so grateful for their support and highly recommend their services to anyone going through such a heartbreaking experience.

I just want to give a special thank you to Ms. Cassidy for taking care of our baby Emerald. We just lost her and are having an extremely difficult time dealing with the loss. She was very helpful in making sure that we received all the correct information and was understanding in our grief. Faithful Companion is not just a business, it is a family and this family treats you as if you were their family and your baby as their baby. They are so gentle and caring. All the support and compassion. Completely understanding and genuine. They will listen to your needs and hear you out. If you have a concern or any questions at all they are there for you. They make this most difficult time in your life easy. This was my first baby that I saw cross the rainbow bridge. I had her for 12 years and when the time came it was so hard to say goodbye. Unbelievably hard but with Faithful Companion they made it easy. They give you a paw print ornament with the name of your baby on it and it is outstanding quality. Definitely not easy to break. They can get a little patch of hair in a little baggy and they take a picture of the paw in case you want to use it to get a tattoo one day. Your baby comes with a handmade beautiful wooden Urn. Which the urn my baby came in had a few cosmetic faults. I didn't say anything because I was just ready to take my baby home. You can also purchase a nose print. Every baby is different and Faithful Companion definitely tries multiple times to get the best one for you. I purchased a nose print of my baby and it didn't turn out the way I imagined it and I had a choice whether to still purchase it or not. Which I did because it is my baby.. but they picked up my disappointment in my voice and I got a call later on in the day from Davis to discuss why I wasn't happy with everything. Which in the same call I voiced my concerns about the urn. Davis was unbelievably understanding and very kind. I was able to go back and show my concerns. I was able to switch out the urns and just switching them made me so much more at peace with my baby crossing knowing she is in this beautiful handmade wooden urn. I definitely do suggest the engraving. It is absolutely beautiful and makes it 1000% more beautiful. I was thinking about buying her a different urn but once I put the engraving on it, I am so much more happy with the handmade urn. When it is time for my other babies to cross I know where I am going to go. I would definitely recommend Faithful Companion to anyone because of the people that helped me in this difficult time. Just remarkable. Every single one of them. Thank you. Thank you to all that helped me with my baby. It's nothing bad or permanent its just when they engrave with the Lazer printer. I smelled the same smell when they did my pups urn. Arrived to my home at the same time as Veterinarian that provided euthanasia. Waited outside while procedure was performed. I was allowed to carry my euthanized pet to the waiting car. They delivered my ashes and paw print to my home the next day. They treated the occasion with the respect from start to finish.

This place is simply amazing! I had to put my lil Dexter down. He was my guinea pig. I put him to rest at the vet and they took him over to this place and had him cremated. I was told by the vet that it would take 3-5 days to get him back and I may not get his paw prints……which I desperately wanted.I got a call the next day from Faithful Companion Pet Cremations that Dexter was ready to go home and they even offered to bring him to me. I was so antsy that I went and picked him up. As I arrived, I got a gift bag that had his ashes in a beautiful wooden box and his footprints in clay with his name. It was beautiful and truly meant the world to me. Dexter meant so much to me because after I had to put my French bulldog down a few years back, I got Dexter as a friend for my other dog so she wouldn’t be lonely. She loved Dexter and it took her sadness away after losing her brother. Then my beautiful other dog passed away and then Dexter was all alone and he then got super sad. He was never himself after losing her. Him and I bonded so closely after losing her.So losing him was hard.Thank you Faithful Companion for everything!!! ❤️

Our beloved German Shepard, Sasha, passed away after a brief illness on 07/01. It was fate that led me to Faithful Companion. I had NO clue what to do and this group went above and beyond to make an incredibly hard situation a little easier. I hope to never need them again but if that time comes, this will be my only call. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has lost a beloved pet and needs their services. Davis and the ladies there madeone of the most difficult days in our life so much easier. So caring and professional. They allowed my husband to participate in various portions of the process which was reassuring to us. We brought beloved pet to them, stayed with her during the process and left a short while later with the ashes of our beloved Bailor and a lovely paw print keepsake. They were caring and made sure we were comfortable with every stage. We plan to bury her ashes at our gravesite so we can all be together in our final resting place. They will pick up your pet and return the ashes to you if you need.

I lost my 11 year old rabbit, Buddy, on Friday. The vet handled the arrangements for the cremation, I had never even heard of this place before. I got a call that he was ready to be picked up and when I got there (on Sunday!) I was very pleasantly surprised.I expected a cardboard box with a plastic bag inside, which is how I've seen human remains handled before. What I got was a very nice wooden box with a floral pattern carved onto the top. It was comforting to see that they had put him in a container like this, rather than cardboard. It felt respectful.I was also given a really nice keepsake with his footprint! I can't tell what material it is but they actually took the time to make a footprint, which I never expected them to do. It also has his name etched into it, along with a little heart. A wooden display stand came with it.The lady I spoke to was friendly and professional both on the phone and in the store.I'm glad to have Buddy back at home. And I cried when I first saw his little footprint but just being able to go into the dining room and see that is really special. If you're having to find a crematorium for your pet I definitely recommend Faithful Companion. They're quick, professional and easy to deal with.

If you are in the Midlands and need cremation services for your pet, I highly recommend Faithful Companion in Dentsville. They are caring, professional, and exceeded expectations. I've never had service as considerate as theirs. They picked up our Pomeranian's body the evening of her death from our vet's office in Lexington, and this morning they called with the kindest compassion to let us know she was ready to come home, (so this was in less than 48 hours of her death). About ten minutes before their arrival, they called to let us know they'd soon be here. The professionally dressed attendant arrived in a black funeral van and compassionately delivered Sophie's ashes and paw print to us. I feel they handled her cremation process with the utmost care from initial contact to our beloved pet's return home.

I've been meaning to write this review...Our wonderful cat, Keiko, passed away two days before Thanksgiving. He was extremely ill, and we chose to have him put to sleep. From the initial phone call from Faithful Companion, and the day I picked Keiko's ashes up, staff was sincere, sympathetic, and kind. They treated me with empathy, kindness, and compassion. Thank you so much for the amazing care, compassion, and love you showed to my Emerald. Cassidy was so accommodating and was so sincere when sharing her condolences for our loss of our princess. You can tell she truly cares about what she does and cares about the family and their members and does what ever she can to try to make it easier. I received a call from Davis today that my dog's remains were ready. He was polite and compassionate. I was able to pick her remains up myself but they did offer to deliver her directly to me which I thought was a great option. My chihuahua Lucky passed away on May 21st 2023 and through an arrangement with CVETS they picked up him up. The care and the dignity and the respect that they showed my beautiful boy cannot be expressed in mere words and as devastated as I am I cannot thank them enough. This was a horrible experience. This place should never be trusted with the aftercare of a pet. The odor in the lobby was awful. The young lady was flippant and just handed me a gift bag with my boys box inside and said “Have a nice day ma’am” If this is the new crematory of choice for Lap of Love Corporate Office then shame on them. No pet parent should feel like their pet didn’t matter. Search other crematories before you place your pet here.

I was told by the vet that it would take 3-5 days to get him back and I may not get his paw prints……which I desperately wanted.I got a call the next day from Faithful Companion Pet Cremations that Dexter was ready to go home and they even offered to bring him to me. I was so antsy that I went and picked him up. As I arrived, I got a gift bag that had his ashes in a beautiful wooden box and his footprints in clay with his name. It was beautiful and truly meant the world to me. Dexter meant so much to me because after I had to put my French bulldog down a few years back, I got Dexter as a friend for my other dog so she wouldn’t be lonely. She loved Dexter and it took her sadness away after losing her brother. Then my beautiful other dog passed away and then Dexter was all alone and he then got super sad. He was never himself after losing her. Him and I bonded so closely after losing her.So losing him was hard.Thank you Faithful Companion for everything!!! ❤️

Our beloved German Shepard, Sasha, passed away after a brief illness on 07/01. It was fate that led me to Faithful Companion. I had NO clue what to do and this group went above and beyond to make an incredibly hard situation a little easier. I hope to never need them again but if that time comes, this will be my only call. I appreciate all the kindness that was shown to my family and I. We are truly grateful for the excellent care and service given. Many blessings to you all.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has lost a beloved pet and needs their services. Davis and the ladies there madeone of the most difficult days in our life so much easier. So caring and professional. They allowed my husband to participate in various portions of the process which was reassuring to us. We brought beloved pet to them, stayed with her during the process and left a short while later with the ashes of our beloved Bailor and a lovely paw print keepsake. They were caring and made sure we were comfortable with every stage. We plan to bury her ashes at our gravesite so we can all be together in our final resting place. They will pick up your pet and return the ashes to you if you need.

I lost my 11 year old rabbit, Buddy, on Friday. The vet handled the arrangements for the cremation, I had never even heard of this place before. I got a call that he was ready to be picked up and when I got there (on Sunday!) I was very pleasantly surprised.I expected a cardboard box with a plastic bag inside, which is how I've seen human remains handled before. What I got was a very nice wooden box with a floral pattern carved onto the top. It was comforting to see that they had put him in a container like this, rather than cardboard. It felt respectful.I was also given a really nice keepsake with his footprint! I can't tell what material it is but they actually took the time to make a footprint, which I never expected them to do. It also has his name etched into it, along with a little heart. A wooden display stand came with it.The lady I spoke to was friendly and professional both on the phone and in the store.I'm glad to have Buddy back at home. And I cried when I first saw his little footprint but just being able to go into the dining room and see that is really special. If you're having to find a crematorium for your pet I definitely recommend Faithful Companion. They're quick, professional and easy to deal with.

If you are in the Midlands and need cremation services for your pet, I highly recommend Faithful Companion in Dentsville. They are caring, professional, and exceeded expectations. I've never had service as considerate as theirs. They picked up our Pomeranian's body the evening of her death from our vet's office in Lexington, and this morning they called with the kindest compassion to let us know she was ready to come home, (so this was in less than 48 hours of her death). About ten minutes before their arrival, they called to let us know they'd soon be here. The professionally dressed attendant arrived in a black funeral van and compassionately delivered Sophie's ashes and paw print to us. I feel they handled her cremation process with the utmost care from initial contact to our beloved pet's return home.

I've been meaning to write this review...Our wonderful cat, Keiko, passed away two days before Thanksgiving. He was extremely ill, and we chose to have him put to sleep. From the initial phone call from Faithful Companion, and the day I picked Keiko's ashes up, staff was sincere, sympathetic, and kind. They treated me with empathy, kindness, and compassion. I know they interact with grieving pet parents all the time, but they truly made me feel like they didn't see Keiko, or me, as just another client.I really appreciate the professionalism, kindness, and empathy they showed me.

These people should not be in charge of caring for your pet! The employees are rude, I was given my pets ashes mixed with another pets ashes. They didn’t seem like they cared that they messed up. STAY AWAY!!

Thank you so much for the amazing care, compassion, and love you showed to my Emerald. Cassidy was so accommodating and was so sincere when sharing her condolences for our loss of our princess. You can tell she truly cares about what she does and cares about the family and their members and does what ever she can to try to make it easier. She went way beyond what her job was and made sure she did everything she could to accomidate and sooth our broken hearts. She was amazing when put through numerous questions and concerns and made sure she answered everything she could and gave us everything we asked for. You Cassidy are truly an angel!!! I received a call from Davis today that my dog's remains were ready. He was polite and compassionate. I was able to pick her remains up myself but they did offer to deliver her directly to me which I thought was a great option. My chihuahua Lucky passed away on May 21st 2023 and through an arrangement with CVETS they picked up him up. The care and the dignity and the respect that they showed my beautiful boy cannot be expressed in mere words and as devastated as I am I cannot thank them enough. The entire process of what they do is of the highest quality and it shows. Lucky was brought back home to me and his little urn is so precious and the little clay paw print they took is something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. This was a horrible experience. This place should never be trusted with the aftercare of a pet. The odor in the lobby was awful. The young lady was flippant and just handed me a gift bag with my boys box inside and said “Have a nice day ma’am” If this is the new crematory of choice for Lap of Love Corporate Office then shame on them. No pet parent should feel like their pet didn’t matter. Search other crematories before you place your pet here.
