We lost our 13-year-old Boston Terrier Zoey shortly after Christmas and it was one of the hardest things to go through. We were referred to Final Gift through our vet and we could not be happier with the results. She had a private cremation and the urn is beautiful. The paw print will be tattooed on my husband and my arms. The fur has all of her colors and the pendant is beautiful. As difficult as this has been we are happy to have her home where she belongs. Thank you to everyone at Final Gift! Worth the money.

Final Gift handled the cremation of my beautiful black lab. She was returned to me promptly and in a beautiful velvet bag containing the urn I had picked out. Also included was my girls paw print and a small container of her fur. A certificate stating the date the cremation was done was included. Everything was handled respectfully and on time.

I would do a minus if I could! The staff at the Cranston Center were amazing. The person who answers the phones and does the scheduling needs to learn what the different centers are doing!!!!!In 2015 we brought 3 of our sweet babies there within a 6 month period. Customer service was amazing! Yes things change over the years but the person scheduling the parents of these sweet babies needs to keep up to date! I told this woman what I had done in the past and what I wanted done. I wanted to see my sweet cat put into the chamber as I did the last 3 times. No problem so I thought. I never did get to witness this and I will not make that mistake dealing with the 800 number (the person who takes all the calls). I will go directly to the Cranston Center and schedule my own appointment. I will never forgive that person for making that day even harder! Now I get to wait and see if I get the refund on a paw print. As far as I'm concerned the person who answered the phone and scheduled our appointment should pay the entire bill!!!!I

I recently had my little fur baby cremated here and the services offered were swift and done very nicely. I opted for the individual cremation. The whole process took about 5 days. I got his cremation certificate and purchased an urn on my own. He was packed lovely in a nice bag, with a temp urn and velvet bag. I also got paw prints done as well. This has been one of the hardest weeks of my life. But having my lil guy here with me brings some comfort. The peace of mind was worth the extra money for an individual cremation. Luckily I was able to have the money to have him honored respectfully. I spoiled him all his life, and that wasn't going to stop at death.

My dog just passed away on Saturday so I had to look for a cremation place. This one was the only one open, but I did get to check out a couple other websites at this point. I’m happy to have my baby home, but I do feel ripped off I paid $295 For individual cremation, and I thought it would come with Some type of urn Since it’s $300 mind you, my baby was a Chihuahua only weighed 4 to 5 pounds when I got there, the girl asked me if I wanted to see the urns to choose Which one I wanted to purchase, I told her I was under the impression that a regular simple urn was included Considering the price I was paying She told me it did not, but she can offer me a complimentary urn When I went to go pick up my baby All I got was his ashes in a very tiny urn that didn’t even look like the one I had picked out It didn’t even have his name on it . I feel ripped off because for the price that I paid I should’ve gotten His paw prints, his hair clippings, a beautiful urn with his name engraved on it But my dog happened to pass on the weekend and they were the only ones open I had no other choice. This is also my first time So I had no idea of the process. I asked the girl what was the process? And she Couldn’t even tell me how Long, would it take? And when would I get my baby back because I was so stressed with the situation I did Not Want to even argue or inquire more. luckily for me everything went well and I have my baby. I just Feel Like I’ve gotten ripped off because I got his ashes in a very simple cheaply made urn and death certificate. I didn’t even get. The token that they usually put in each dog to identify them .After dropping him off, I started doing my research just to see what I can expect to get back and to my surprise the token that was Supposed to be placed inside of him, I didn’t get it I don’t know if it’s that they have different practices because since the girl never Explained anything to me. I would not recommend this place to anybody only because they are too expensive And they do not seem to want to explain anything to you at all Except for trying to sell you stuff and honestly, it’s pretty cheaply made. I probably could’ve gotten the same urn on Temu for two dollars. And if you do get stuck in a pickle just like me make sure to take your own hair clippings make your own paw prints before you drop your baby off because if not, those things could cost you up to another hundred dollar on top of the $300 if your dog weighs less than 50 pounds because if it weighs more than 50 pounds it’s more. Luckily for me I did his paw prints at home with my boys. I did not get the hair clippings which I kind of regret but it’s OK. hope this helps anyone out there looking For services for their special for a baby

When it comes time in your dog’s life when your dog passes. And, you’re going to have them cremated, you should call here. When you do, ask for Alisha. She made the process easier. She also was caring and understanding. This was at the Cranston, RI location.

Traumatic experience dealing with these people on tip of the trauma of losing my furbaby. It is evident that they do not care about their customers. I called after losing my beloved pet last week. I inquired about the engraving on her box as nobody asked what I wanted. I also asked about her plaster paw print and was specific that I wanted it. They said “we don’t do that here. You have to call the vet”. The vet assured me that they did it for me. I went to get my girl today. There was no paw print. The vet called Final Gift and was told that I was “supposed to call back” and since they didn’t hear from me, the proceeded with the cremation! NEVER was I told to call back. Not sure why I would have to when I was specific that I wanted her plaster pawprint! They never even had the courtesy to call and ask me what I wanted engraved on her box so I ended up spending and additional $63 for an engraving not realizing they were already engraving her name on it. As I look at the engraving, it is misspelled! I am just beside myself! My expectations were clear and the Final Gift turned into an added final nightmare.

I cannot even put into words how upset and disappointed with this place I am. If I could give zero stars, you best believe I would.I had three people telling me to call here for a cremation. I requested them to pick up my beloved, as I could not bare to see him that way. I spoke to a woman last Tuesday who told me she’d give me a call back that day and let me know if it was doable. I never got. a call back. Last Friday I left a voicemail, hoping to hear from someone. It’s now Monday, six days later and I haven’t heard anything from ANYONE.I am completely baffled and so unbelievably upset. If it wasn’t possible THE LEAST they could’ve done was given me a call to tell me so. I would’ve had other arrangements made. But it’s way too late for that now. I am completely disgusted with this place and would never recommend them. How they could do that to a person is beyond me.And to whomever works here and is gonna reply to this (as all businesses do with their woe is me I am so sorry!), don’t bother saying sorry. Sorry fixes nothing at all. You’re terrible people, who work at a terrible company.

I’m not one to normally go out of my way to share a bad review publicly, but the way I was treated at this place was absolutely unacceptable.I had to put my bunny down a few days ago. He was my life, I had him for 8 years since he was a baby. His vet told me I could bring him directly to Final Gift or back to the vet for cremation. It was more direct for me to go right to the final gift so after my class I went home, got my bunny, and drove from Wakefield all the way to Cranston. When I rang the bell, a woman answered (I don’t know her name, but she looked like stereotypical Cranston trash) and asked what she could do to help. I told her “I just put my bunny down yesterday and my vet told me I could come drop him off here to you guys to get cremated”. She, very obviously annoyed I was even there, said “um do you have an appointment?” I told her “no I didn’t know I needed to make an appointment, the vet just told me I could come drop him off within 72 hours”. Then she ROLLED HER EYES and huffed under her breath to which I responded “I’m sorry I can just bring him to his regular vet if it’s an inconvenience to you”. She says, very audibly and visibly annoyed, “no it’s fine we just try to have people make appointments so there’s not multiple families in here… I wish the vet thought to tell you to make an appointment” (also mind you, I was THE ONLY ONE in the building aside from her). So again, I said “I’m sorry it’s really no problem for me to take him to his vet if it’s an issue.” She then rolled her eyes, huffed her breath and goes “it’s fine you’re already here anyway”. Like if I had known I needed to make an appointment, I obviously would have made an appointment…So at this point I’m uncomfortable, and I’m sad about my bunny. I feel guilty for asking this woman to, ya know, do her job. So then she starts annoyingly typing away on her computer, asks me where my bunny’s vet is and his name. Then she asks me how much he weighs. I responded “I honestly don’t know” and she just blankly stared at me, so obviously annoyed I was even there. So at this point, I had enough and just wanted to get out of that building, so I said “you know what, I’m just going to take him to his regular vet. Thanks” and I walked out and sobbed in my car in the parking lot. She is lucky I walked out calmly and didn’t freak out at her for her absolutely garbage behavior. Where is the empathy and sympathy? Especially in this kind of work? Go work at Dunkin Donuts at that point if you’re going to be miserable all the time. It’s one thing to not have good customer service skills, I get it, but if you hate people that much then go work in the food industry or service industry where you can get away with that kind of attitude more, and not working with people who just lost their loved one, are grieving, and trying to get together their last remains/wishes of their furry friend. I’m not sure what this woman’s name was, but I am SO GLAD I didn’t leave my beloved bunny alone with her, since she clearly hates her job.So after driving from Wakefield all the way to Cranston, I left and drove him all the way back to his vet in West Greenwich and then back home to Wakefield which resulted in me missing one of my classes at school. This behavior from whoever this woman was absolutely disgusting. If my vet didn’t send all their animals off to the final gift I wouldn’t have taken him there at all. Seems like this woman gets complained about often as well, so I’m unsure why she’s still employed by this company. That just tells me all I need to know about their morals and ethics. So yea, I guess bring your pet here if you want to be treated like dirt on top of spending hundreds of dollars to get them cremated all while being sad and distraught about losing your animal. 300.00 to cremate a 3 pound bunny all while being made to feel like a major inconvenience? Seems like corporate greed in my own opinion. In my opinion, bring your pet elsewhere. It’ll save you a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety.

My amazing pup of 16 years passed away in my arms on the morning of July 13th 2021. I brought her to Final Gift and Alisha, at the front desk, was so caring and amazing to me! I didn't even know they do viewings of your pet! It was an amazing experience and they really made me feel at ease! Thank you so much for your amazing and caring ways and making it easier for me to say 'see you later' to my Aseal aka Teetoo. She meant the world to me. 💜

I’d like to thank the wonderful receptionist / Coordinator and everyone at Final Gift Cranston RI for their compassion yet for a second time. I’ve used them in 2018 and again on 11/5/24 for my toy poodle Panda. I traveled from Albany NY just to use their services.

My reason for 3 stars....First off Cranston and Middleboro locations are both great. Middleboro is absolutely beautiful when it comes to their pet cemetery. My complaints are the pricing. I feel it's corporate greed. My vet and many others do ink pawprints for free or for very cheap. Also other crematoriums are extremely cheap. Here is costs $46 for an ink pawprint , $46 for a nose ink print and another $23 for just a clay print. Nevermind the cremation fee.Unfortunately their prices have stopped me from going back to final gift even though I've used them for years. Their complimentary urns are beautiful but I just can't afford over $200 per cremation of my small pets. My 50 lb dog and one pawprint cost me $300. Insanity just to take home our loved ones.

I cannot thank Final Gift enough for their help in this trying time. Having never lost a pet before I was unsure of where to turn to aid in my cats cremation and making sure he got home safe. I was referred here and the staff showed the utmost empathy when I walked in in complete shambles with my boy and had him ready to come home very quickly. I will be recommending them to anyone who like me was lost when my pet suddenly passed away in my home.

Thank you so much to this place for doing what they did for our girl. We have her ashes in a nice wood box & we have her paw print as well. And they included a certificate or cremation and a rainbow bridge token. Such a beautiful gift for such a sad time. But thank you.

I can not say enough about the professionalism and sincere empathy all the employees at The Final Gift display. They understand that our beloved animals are family! When we suddenly lost our Molly they helped me be able to share her ashes with my daughter who was away at college. When we lost my Great Aunts dog Tiki they came and picked her up and were so respectful. And last night when Harper, my cousins best friend passed they came and gave all 5 adults who were sobbing all the time we needed! Top notch people that work there! And it does not stop there! They work with you to be able to bring your baby home one last time in beautiful pieces that you will have forever!Thank you for being there for so many families and treating our fur babies like our children!!

Detailed review - Our beloved Comet died Dec 6th 2023. In disbelief and in horrible pain we called animal control, multiple veterenerians, and none would help us. One even being cold enough to say "put him in the trash bin and they'll collect him with the regular trash" as if we hadnt had him 13 years. We had our beautiul labrador being talked about this way. Dogs aren't just a moment in a lifetime. Comet was a lifetime in a moment. A best friend.Final gift was immediately the warmest humans on earth. That grasp the meaning of the connection we build with pets. They picked him up within 6 hours. Had him cremated within a week. And even brought him back to hand deliver! The two gentlemen they sent to pick comet up were two men in the mid to late 20s. These guys were like family. Paying condolences with so much radiant sympanthy. I have seen nothing like it. From step 1 to the cremation process. They were sincere. Transparent. And those two made a bad day that much more tolerable. I hope they can read this.Lastly they give a letter with the ashes that is sealed with a silver paw stamp. Almost presidential quality. This isn't just a pet crematory. It's on par with a full fledged funeral home. If you love your pet like family. This is where to go. And if you have transportation issues they will pick up your dog with the love and integrity of their own.A review can never convey what final gift did and means to us. But I hope it does a little to convey our thanks. Sincerely - The Muggleton Family.

My sweet kitty passed away April 1st 2022, she was 13 years old, which I’ve had her for 13 years since I was 9 years old. One of the most painful decisions was to put her down to end her pain. Final gift made everything so beautiful! They had it wrapped beautifully and even gave us seeds to plant. Bliss was taken care of, and knowing this makes me feel a little more at peace.

We are coming up on a year,of both my babies being put down within 2 weeks of one another, the pain is still very raw.having my opie and wee wee next to me at all times gives me the tiniest bit of peace, there is no way to come to grips with cancer! Final gift has done all my pets right on down to my 7 guinea pigs, their urns are beautiful! Having them with me gives me a sense of calm ,even though its fleeting, the tears never stop. Thank you so much for giving me my babies back .

I’d like to thank final gift for their compassion and professionalism. Our cuddles passed on 4/10/21. She was 12 and the love of our lives. Being that she was our first ever, we were completely heartbroken. We had called that morning cuz we wanted to change some things on the engraving. They were so understanding. Then after 2 days I called again just to check in on cuddles and again, they showed this heartbroken person compassion. So I called AGAIN 2 days later to check on her asking when I could get her home. They were so very understanding and kind and comforting to us. Cuddles came home in a week in a beautiful jewelry type box, gold plate engraved name. We put her picture in it and now she’s with us every day again. This place is just wonderful during your time of need. I’m so happy we came here and they did exactly what we asked. God forbid the time comes and you need them, this is the place to go. My husband and I thank you so much. THANK YOU! 😔💔🙏🙏🙏

I can't say enough about Final Gift. They are the most comforting and compassionate people I've ever met. Kristin is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of when you can't even take care of yourself. A real angel. A special thank you to Evan as well who worked absolute magic on Ben's urn.

I cannot say enough about the people at Final Gift. It has taken me two months to get to the point where I can actually write about our loss, but I really wanted to write this review and compliment them on how they were so thoughtful and caring. They treated our sweet boy with the utmost respect and asked us exactly what we wanted to be a part of. They included us in every part of the cremation services and even made the payment process easy and non-intrusive. Overall, they were amazing and at a time when anyone is experiencing such a huge loss, it is nice to have thoughtful, caring, respectful people take care of our pet.

I will be having my beloved dog cremated this weekend at Final Gift R.I, opted for the private viewing before cremation and will hang around the 2- 3 hrs to collect her remains to bring home.. Expensive to do this? Yes, very, but it is what we want and to be sure of the process?, from some of the negative reviews I read, you run the risk of a group cremation and not getting your pet by waiting weeks for remains...I will keep you all posted on our experience this weekend 1/20/24, may God Bless all our Beloved Pets.RIP.

I have used Final Gift ⚱️ last year when my dog passed and just last week when our family dog passed. I spoke with Kelsey today about ordering name plates for both wooden urns ⚱️ and ordering a different urn. These people are so very caring and kind and take it from me the emotional support that they show towards you for your furry friend.Thank You Kelsey!Mr. CaldeiraSir Oscar 2020 & Cali Caldeira 2019

On Saturday, November 19, 2022, my husband and I helped Miss Lily Mack, our English bulldog of 14.7 years cross the Rainbow Bridge. Prior to doing so, my husband called Final Gift Crematorium - who we have used to cremate 13 of our dogs, since 2008 - the moment they opened to see if we could have her cremated that day. He told them we want Lily to be the only dog in the oven. We need to see our dog go in and out and wait for her ashes so she may return home with us that day. We were told to come in at 1 p.m.We arrive only to be told they had us scheduled for a “drop off”. First of all, I am NOT dropping my dog off anywhere. Obviously, it is crucial I be there to witness. They receptionist and the supervisor said, no we close at 2 p.m. My husband told them to call the manager, the manager says; tell them we close at 2 p.m. I begged them to stay open longer. They continued to repeat their canned answer over and over again. They made no effort to accommodate us whatsoever. They offered to keep her in storage and they would do the cremation liked we asked on Monday. I am not letting anyone wrap my dog in a bag, throw her in the freezer for two days. They botched the appointment, next would they mistakenly bring me the wrong dog?Final Gift’s mission statement is giving families the best in pet aftercare. This would have never happened under the direction of the former owner. Unfortunately, he sold it and now a heartless corporation runs it.Does this sound like they fulfilled their mission statement? Does this sound like a positive experience in times of despair? Is their final gift to a grieving pet owner? Obviously it is, so; Final Gift can keep their gift, I don’t want it.I want to spread the word of their unethical, unsympathetic way of doing business.

Excellent work on both my twins, they are warm welcoming and understanding. They add a personal touch so you feel your leaving your fur babies in a trusted caring place, they do not rush you. This is coming from a person who trust no one with my babies❤️!

I just recently lost my beloved Mia she was not my pet but my daughter she was the most loyal girl that was on the face of this earth to me, even though she was so small in her heart she was a 100lb killer to defend me. She spends 17 years by my side. So u can imagine how broken I’m but the veterinarian emergency & specialty hospital. Help thru this painful moment and help me to have her cremated with the help of final gift pet memorial center. I can’t explain the words of gratitude 🙏🏼 I have ,my baby came back in a week in the most beautiful urn and her certificate as well and her 🐾 print. I can’t thank you enough for your service but into the day I reunited my self w my Mia you all will be in my prayers and in my heart. I’m truly thankful from the vet hospital staff to final gift pet memorial center staff thank you so much. May the heaven and the earth blessed you all

I cannot tell you how deeply touched I was by the wonderful card and pawprint that I received. Losing my Sophie was heartbreaking but your care with her and your kind thoughts helped with the loss of my pretty girl. She was a most loving cat and companion. I will miss her always. Thank you for both Sophie and her brother Samson whom I lost earlier this year. 😢

UPDATE, the district manager called me, she gave me a sincere apology and expressed that is not how they handle things and would address the issues with the team in Cranston. As we have used their services for over a decade, I have to agree, they do not do business like this! With the exception of this time they have been very kind, compassionate and helpful. I hope this was an isolated incident and I am confident that Alicia will receive some retraining on handling a distraught patron and a confusing situation without being mean.We have used the service of Final Gift many times, we are a farm animal sanctuary that cares for over 80 farm animals. This is the first bad experience but it was REALLY BAD! I called in the morning to make an appointment to have a puppy that passed cremated. I called back later to let them know my partner, who's puppy this was, was on her way in. They said ok, we'll let them know. When she got there the intake person, Alicia, told my partner that I didn't make proper arrangements so they could not take the puppy. After that my partner, Jackie called me and put me on speaker phone, Jackie informed me that Alicia just rolled her eyes when I spoke with her, Alicia later admitted to me that she was rolling her eyes. We made "cold storage arrangements" until everything could be sorted out. She then made Jackie bring the dead puppy through the front door, bring him out to the prep area and put him down, I was on the phone the entire time, Jackie was crying and asking why she had to do this?!?! Typically they offer to bring the pet in, but not Alicia! From here it gets crazy, the whole time I was speaking to her another person was trying to call to straighten out the arrangements but again, Alicia didn't want to hear that so we paid for the cold storage and left the puppy. The next morning I got a call from Alicia, she said that I told them the puppy weighed 5lbs, t, that's absolutely not the case however, I no, I stated he was between 30 & 50lbs. She yes he weighs 32lbs but because I told them 5lbs, which I didn't, they couldn't proceed. I asked to talk to a manager, she said no, "I will talk to management for you" So, apparently there is no recourse if things go wrong in Cranston, RI Final Gift as you cannot talk to anyone other than Alicia. I assume she's the owner of this branch and therefore will be boycotting their services. She was rude, condescending and when she thought I was no longer on the phone told Jackie that I was confused and didn't understand what was going on or how her process works. I will update this review after I speak with the main office and will also put a link to a YouTube video when it's ready. My advice for anyone going through this pain is to go to one of the other branches, they are not that far and worth it to get the service you would hope for in your darkest, saddest time.

I have had many pets in my life and have had to use various pet burial services over the years. I can say with absolute certainty the best company I have ever dealt with was Final Gift in Rhode Island. I first used them in 2015 when my cat Gracie passed away. They were highly recommended to me by a family member who had just used their services for their dog. I found them to be professional yet very kind and compassionate. They were helpful (since I was a basket case) and they treated me as though Gracie was just as important to them as she was to me. The person who came to pick Gracie up from my home was equally as kind. Gracie's remains were returned to me at my home quickly by the same driver who had picked her up. Then in 2018 when my beloved dog Chewy died I didn't hesitate to use Final Gift. I had the same experience as I did with Gracie. The driver was kind and gentle with Chewy. The urn and Chewy's remains were returned very quickly along with the two keepsake necklaces I had ordered. Unfortunately, in the not so distant future, I will be needing their services again. I also have a friend who has a very sick dog and when the time is appropriate I wont hesitate to recommend Final Gift. Please note I am referring to the Rhode Island Final Gift location and cant speak for the other two locations since I haven't used them. Animal lovers would agree that losing a pet is a death in the family and Final Gift Memorial Center understands that grief and they do everything possible to help you through the difficulty of making those final arrangements.

Sadly my dog passed away on 23rd Of February. I did some research and decided to use Final Gift Pet Memorial. The very next day,I received a phone call from final gift asking for payment for the cremation. I paid for it in full and I was pretty relieved that they called me so quickly because I assumed that meant that they were on top of it and I would get my dogs remains back quickly. I did not hear anything from them and after waiting six days I gave them a call. The representative on the phone informed me that my pet had just been picked up yesterday! So my dogs remains sat in a freezer at the vet for six days before she was even picked up and I had paid for it six days before she was picked up. I asked why I was not notified that there was a significant delay and the representative replied that they service all of New England and they have a lot of clients and that they don’t call their customers because it would require too much time. I found that to be bothersome considering that when they wanted to be paid, they found the time to call me! it took a total of nine days to get my pets remains returned to my vets office! If I known that it was going to take this long, I would not have used them. If I had known that my dog was going to be sitting in a freezer for six days before even being picked up, I would not have use them. I'm sure this company does a great job however, I feel as though they drop the ball on me and I didn’t even get as much as an apology! I consider my dog to be part of my family and somebody should’ve picked up the phone and called me and let me know that there was a delay!

My wife and I are extremely pleased with the services provided by Final Gift in Cranston. The compassion and understanding given by the gentleman that picked up our sweet Bailey then returned her home was above and beyond. Thank you for all you do.

I went and picked up my Cali on January 8th from them. They did such a beautiful job with my Cali’s urn box and were so helpful in giving me another heart urn with dog prints on it with my pups name on it for my daughter. They also gave me a special bag so I could spread her ashes separately so I would not have to disturb the original ashes that they put into her box. I was even able to go and pick her up from them. Everything was beautiful. I even have a beautiful poem from them inside my card. The girls at the desk were so kind and understanding as I just cried talking about her.Thank you for everything that you did for my girl.

We lost our baby girl Clarisse this week after 14 years. She was the light of our lives and we both feel like we will never heal from this. We considered burying her, but then decided cremation would be best in case we ever decided to move. We called our vet (Hopewell Animal Hospital) that morning and discussed our options and decided on a private cremation as we needed her ashes back. When I dropped Clarisse off for her final time it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. We were told approximately a week for her to be ready, but a few days later the vet called saying Clarisse was ready to be picked up. We were so thankful to get our precious angel back. When we received her ashes, it was in a beautiful little urn. The best part is that it has her name engraved on it. Seeing that made us break down and hysterically cry in the vets parking lot. We didn't expect such a personalized urn. We received a certificate of cremation with her name, a beautiful sympathy card and a packet of seeds to plant in her remembrance. Thank you Final Gift for understanding what an important time this is for pet parents and for treating my sweet beautiful girl with the respect and dignity that she deserved. We can now rest knowing we have her home with us forever.

You people are wonderful ❤️ Thank you so much for your caring to do this service for people it helps more than you can know in the healing process when you lose a pet. You did it for me 15 years ago also and I thank you for that to. I feel like I never lost my pets having them in my home with me. Again Thank you so very much.

I recently had to put down my baby girl and if grieving isn't hard enough, the thought of sending her away to God knows where just added to my stress. My vet had nothing but good things to say about you, and I'm glad I listened. You gave me my baby back quickly, which honestly makes a difference. I'm so happy she can be at home. I once waited three weeks with another business and it put me through hell. The things you added along with the urn were very much appreciated. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart, you guys do something amazing and should be very proud.

I didn't even know places like this existed. But I'm glad we found out about them. I called them after our vet had already made plans for our dogs cremation. They were very accommodating and professional through the entire process. This experience has helped us in our grieving process. We're very thankful.

When my husband and I took our senior cat Mitzi to be put to sleep, we opted for her ashes after cremation. My vet called me to pick up the ashes today and I was less than excited. I've never gone through this process, so I was expecting a simple plastic bag with some ashes. When I came home, I unwrapped a beautiful ceramic urn, a batch of annual/perennial seeds to plant in her memory, a certificate of cremation, a condolences card. (I also received a clay disc with her paw print that may have come from my vet, but I am not too sure) I didn't know I was getting any of this but I am so glad that I did. I cried happy tears!I am blown away at the care that Final Gift has taken and the respect they have shown. What a wonderful gift. I am so thankful to you all.

My baby had to be put down this week, this was our first time doing cremation. She crossed the rainbow bridge on Saturday and was home by Wednesday. I opted to have just her ashes no urn as I purchased a custom urn. I picked her up she was in a blue velvet bag. I also received the paw print and a customary lock of her fur. They also gave us a rainbow bridge token with a card stating a donation to MVMA charities was made in my babies honor. We also received a packet of seeds to pant in memory of my baby. I was very pleased with the service I received. I would definitely recommend them.

I'd give ZERO stars if I could! If you care about getting your beloved, furr-family member's ashes back, then DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT allow Final Gift to do the cremation!! They just might take your beloved baby and discard their ashes in their own little makeshift "pet cemetery" for discarded animals; like your beloved fur-baby was nothing!!.....My poor, heartbroken mother had to put her beloved,16-year old, baby-boy, cat, Onxy down on February 12th 2023, unexpectedly. It was utterly devastating to my mother; to say the least. Peak Veterinarian in Williston, Vermont was the Veterinarian who had to euthanize Onyx. Peak failed tell her they send the ashes off to Final Gift in Rhode Island. All they told her was: "they will call her when Onyx ashes are ready." While she waited for the ashes, she ordered a very expensive urn, she also had a picture of Onyx blown up to hang on the wall, with a shelf underneath to that the urn of Onyx ashes would rest on. She also was gifted a very, expensive urn necklace, and she was going to put a little bit of Onyx's ashes in the necklace...... About a week or so goes by, and my mom hadn't heard anything yet from Peak, so she called them to inquire if Onxy ashes were ready yet. Peak said, "Not yet, we will give you a call as soon as they are ready" Well, finally, on 02/25 my mother calls Peak once again to ask if Onyx ashes are ready, because it seemed to be taking quite a long time. That's when Peak informed her that Onxy was actually sent away to Rhode Island to a place called, Final Gift, and Final Gift discarded Onyx's ashes in their makeshift "Pet Cemetery" for discarded animals. I can't even begin to tell you the devastation this has caused my mother. Not only to lose her beloved, baby-boy, but to know she will NEVER get his ashes back, they are just discarded in a completely different state amongst other discarded animals; like he was nothing. Why Peak Veterinarian didn't tell my mother that they use a cremation service in another state is the question we asked, but all Peak could do was apologize and refund my mother for the euthanization, and they promised to be better about informing clients that they send animals to be cremated elsewhere. They kept apologizing that they failed to inform her of the full process, but it really doesn't make it any better..... However, the REAL issue is, WHY Final Gift NEVER once reached out to my mother; not an email, not a phone call, NOTHING! They didn't even reach out to Peak Veterinarian to try to get a hold of my mother. Peak assured my mother that they gave Final Gift very specific instructions with her information on it, so why they just ignored it is the question that we want to know, that we're still not getting answers on. My mother has tried multiple times to call them, but all she ever gets is a recording. Peak Veterinarian told my mother that Final Gift said they waited two days and then dumped Onyx like he was nothing. This is absolutely disgusting! My mother has not been able to sleep at night since this has happened. She feels so guilty like she let her baby boy down. I keep telling her it's not her fault, she did absolutely nothing wrong, two businesses failed her and failed Onyx. Also, my mother can't stop thinking of her baby-boy just scattered; in a completely different state; amongst other discarded animals! It is honestly like an additional knife in her heart. AGAIN, DO NOT EVER allow Final Gift near your deceased animals! They are extremely irresponsible, clearly they have zero compassion if they just dump an animal after 2 days!!! There is zero excuse for this to happen. The worst part of it is, it will be impossible to make this right because they already dumped his ashes like nothing. No attempts to try to contact Onyx's owner. This is so beyond wrong, and we will keep speaking out against them because of this. Nobody should ever have to go through this; on top of losing their animal!! SHAME ON YOU FINAL GIFT!!! YOUR FINAL GIFT IS COMPLETE, HEARTBREAKING, AGONY, AND SALT RIGHT IN GRIEVING PEOPLE'S WOUNDS!!

My Baby Biscuit crossed over the rainbow bridge on 10/11/21. My vet Northshore Animal in Lynn had told me that they were affiliated with Final Gift. I contacted them right after Biscuit was put to sleep and made arrangements for his cremation and for hid urn. I picked his ashes up from my vets 1 week later. I was more than pleased when I got home, and opened the box. The love and care that went into his package with the urn and certificate was more than obvious! I was so pleased! I would Highly recommend you to others going thru this extremely difficult time....

On one of the saddest days ..... picking up my beloved Dog's ashes.. I was moved by the compassionate note, presentation of her ashes and pleasantly surprised by my dog's paw print which actually brought me to tears! I can't say enough about this place and their attention to detail when it comes to grieving a family pet. They are top notch in presentation and authenticity of your pets remains.. everything was labeled with her name from the bag to the ashes themselves! so happy on such a sad day!

This was my first time having a pet cremated I was extremely nervous and obviously heartbroken to lose my first dog. The experience at Final gift was easy and peaceful. They made the process so smooth and the place itself is absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for taken care of my Nena 💞

Final Gift is a Godsend in what is the most difficult of times when you are grieving the loss of your pet. Unfortunately I’ve had to use the services on 5 occasions over the past 10 years. Each time they make coordinating the arrangements as easy as possible with many options. This last time, Terry took my request/concern for an accommodation to her manager immediately after my initial call. Within no time, she called with a solution. Their goal is to make coordinating your arrangements as painless as possible during your grieving process. I have only used the Cranston facility but the folks there have always been very consistent and caring in the drop off and pick up process. I am grateful for this service being available in our area and many thanks to Terry for her follow through and care.

I'm not sure if I would us them again 😞 when I spoke to someone on the phone I was told I would receive a paw print with my cats ashes and I didn't.i was also told I would receive a email with a tracking number when my cat was on her way to us and once again I did not it was just left on our front porch.

I had the unfortunate need for a pet crematory recently after a beloved dog of mine passed unexpectedly. Final Gift was the facility the emergency vet recommended, so we decided to go with them. My dog's cremains were returned to the emergency vet about 2 days after she was picked up, but the vet had told Final Gift to use the wrong urn. I called Final Gift and was able to get the one I had ordered. The staff member that helped me was very kind and professional, which makes the transition a lot easier.

We lost our female bully Aries at an early age of 7yrs old due to an inoperable tumor. My husband and I have 3 sons so as cliche as it sounds she was our only daughter.I was so overwhelmed when I saw the amount of care when her remains were returned to us. Living in New England the weather can be unpredictable but even with snow storms she was returned to us promptly. It's sad but I'm glad our vet recommend this company.

I'd give ZERO if it let me. DO NOT allow Final Gift to do the CREMATION! I had to put my baby boy, Onxy (cat) down on 02/12/23 unexpectedly. Peak Veterinarian in Williston, put him down. Peak NEVER told me they send your animal off to Final Gift in Rhode Island. All they told me was: "they will call when Onyx ashes are ready." I waited, as I waited I ordered a very expensive urn; had a picture of Onyx blown up to hang on the wall, with a shelf underneath to place the urn of Onyx’s ashes on. I was gifted a very, expensive urn necklace, to put a little bit of Onyx's ashes in it. A week later I hadn't heard anything from Peak, so I called them to ask if Onxy ashes were ready yet. Peak said, "Not yet, we will give you a call as soon as they are ready" then on 02/25 I call Peak once again to ask if the ashes are ready, because it seemed to be taking quite a long time. That's when Peak told me that Onxy was actually sent away to Rhode Island to, Final Gift, and that Final Gift DISCARDED MY BABY BOY’S ashes in a makeshift "Pet Cemetery" for discarded animals. I thought I was going to faint! I lose my beloved, baby-boy, and now I will NEVER get his ashes back! Onyx is thrown away, like trash in a completely different state amongst other discarded animals; like he was nothing!! Why Peak didn’t tell me they use a cremation service in another state is beyond me, I asked, but all Peak could did was apologize and refund me for the euthanization, and they claim they will do better to inform clients they send animals off to be cremated elsewhere, but really, it really doesn't make it any better. NOW, the REAL issue is, WHY THE HELL Final Gift NEVER once reached out to me, no emails, no calls, NOTHING! They didn't even reach out to Peak to try to get a hold of me. Peak swears they gave Final Gift very specific instructions w/my info, so WHY they threw my baby out I’ll NEVER understand!! To this day, still not getting answers from them. I have called many times, but all I get is a recorded message. Peak says Final Gift ONLY waited two days, YES, just TWO days and then dumped Onyx like he was nothing!! I’m sick over this! Can’t sleep well, at night since this has happened. I can't stop thinking of my baby-boy just scattered; in a completely different state; amongst other discarded animals! So PLEASE, DO NOT EVER allow Final Gift to cremate your baby!! They are extremely irresponsible, clearly they have zero compassion if they just dump an animal after 2 days!!! There is zero excuse for this to happen. The worst part of it is, it will be impossible to make this right!! SHAME ON YOU FINAL GIFT!!! YOUR FINAL GIFT IS MORE PAIN!

We received our pets remains. The postal worker did not leave it at our home unattended and left it with a local business. We were unable to open the box for over a month due to our grief. We opened it to find the most beautiful gifts. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness in caring for our pet.

I am very upset. We gave very specific instructions on the fur clipping and you guys did not do it!! Not even any fur, let alone what I asked, which was brown white and black from her tail. This is something you should triple check before putting her in the oven! Let alone, I had to call to ask where she was today after almost 2 weeks, and you didn't put the stand in for her urn either that we paid for. The paw mold wasn't hardened yet and the ink print was very messy so it's like you rushed to get it done today after calling you out. She wasn't just my dog, she was my wife's baby and her service dog! We called back to ask where they were(stand and locks fo fur) and was told , "oh it's in the notes as human error, no one called you guys?" No, no one called us about the "error" or that she was done and ready for pick up. I wish I could go back and choose another company that would've fulfilled the order correctly. How are you going to make this right? You can't get the fur back as you already cremated her. 😒

We brought our dog for cremation after his sudden early morning death and the service at Final Gift was terrific. Even at 8 AM on a Saturday Evan and the staff were extremely comforting and helpful, setting up a wonderful viewing room for us to say goodbye. Everything was done quickly and conveniently, would recommend them to anyone going through this tough process.

Final Gift provided top notch service for my family after our dog passed from cancer. They are open 24/7, which was great because we needed help on Sunday. Jay was extremely kind and courteous as he helped us through the process. Their facility is very clean and nice. We opted for the witness cremation. You get to see the clean oven and watch your dog loaded in so you know you aren't getting a mixed batch of ashes back. They offered a wide array of receptacles, beginning with $10 tins. Hopefully I will not require pet cremation again any time soon, but if I do, I will definitely be going back to Final Gift.

On contacting them I was given an appointment time and was greeted by Evan who was warm and understanding about our loss. My wife was extremely upset upon arrival but put completely at ease by Evans friendly warm attitude. I could go on for an hour about how well we and our pet were treated with the utmost respect but I won't. A little over 24 hours later I was able to bring the remains home where she belongs. Fantastic personal caring service. When I need them again I now know this is the only place I will bring my pets.To the staff of Final Gift thank you so much for everything you did to help us through this extremely heart wrenching time.

They were so patient as I sobbed my call for any appointment. When I arrived with my pet receptionist was compassionate, patient, explained services, and pricing. She even took container with remains from my car.I can't thank them enough.

The loss of my dog was heartbreaking, but the folks at Final Gift made a horrible situation so much better. It started with Dr. Ruel bringing my girl to them. She is an amazingly compassionate vet. Then Final Gift delivered my girl back to me, in a beautiful heart shaped urn. Nice little keychain so she's always with me. But beyond that, a sympathy card and seeds to plant next spring. So thoughtful. Thank you so much for treating my dog so nicely. You are wonderful people.

Amazing place to have take care of your pets final resting place. I had my cat Piglets ashes put into a beautiful Urn and had his name engraved on a gold plaque that was placed on it with his pic. I also had my older cat Tigger (who passed about 4 yrs prior) in an urn but had not had his name on it. They sent me a gold plaque free of chg with his name on it too! That’s was really nice of them to do 😊 It peels and sticks right on the urn. Very happy to have both my boys on my mantel💙😽😽💙

I had a very tough decision to make as many pet lovers and owners do. My dog liam, a beautiful yellow lab who I rescued over 12 years ago from a kill shelter in Georgia was very ill and approaching the end of his life. I agonized over it for a lot longer than I should have and kept him with me out of selfishness and love for him, but I saw his suffering and had to make a choice. I reached out to North paws who put me in contact with a visiting vet as Liam could not walk see or hear anymore. I made the appointment that broke my heart but I knew it was the right thing to do. I wanted Liam cremated and that's where final gift came in. As much as it broke my heart the entire process from start to finish was seamless and full of compassion kindness love and patience. They allowed me to leave the room as they removed liam gently from his bed after he had passed. They gave me all the time I needed and even sent me beautiful flowers and honor of Liam. I implore anyone who has to make this choice to do your research. I have nothing but good things to say about final gifts Pet memorial

Took my granddaughter's conure parrot to be cremated today. It was a gift to her from her mother, who passed away a month later. The staff there is very respectful, caring and understanding of the situation. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to keep and remember their loved Pete.

Had to have my pup put down due to uncontrollable seizures that were starting to do damage to her brain. When I went to pick up her remains from my vet I was expecting just an urn but instead they gave a card, a certificate, ten tips on coping with the loss of a pet and a packet of seeds. The urn was very well made and a lot nice then expected. thank you all so much for the care that my princess received.

I am so very thankful for Final Gift Pet Memorial. My precious Tigget Lilly (11 year's old ), was put to sleep and cremated. This amazing, beautiful company did the cremation for me. The photo urn is absolutely gorgeous; They also sent a beautiful sympathy card, death certificate and a brochure on how to deal with grieving. These precious people are angel's sent from heaven; To help us be able to send our precious fur babies back to Heaven. It's my goal to get to meet these beautiful people and thank them in person for what they've done for me beautiful, precious angel Tigget Lilly.God bless you and you'll always be in my prayers😻❤❤

The rosewood urn that my cat's ashes were placed in looks like a small child's craft project. Extremely disappointed.

When my little Zoë passed away, I was completely lost and didn't know what to do. I called Final Gift and they took me in almost immediately. Kristen was compassionate and sympathetic to my situation and walked me through a very difficult and heartbreaking process. They treated both Zoë and myself with the utmost of dignity and respect. God forbid the unthinkable happen again, Final Gift will be my first call. Thank you for understanding and meeting my needs during this very difficult time.

Nathan

Meghan Gibbs
Final Gift surpassed or expectations of pet cremation. The facility is that of a human funeral home (but a little nicer than most and doesn't smell funny). Pete was very kind patient and understanding. So attentive without being overbearing. We received a viewing (basically a wake). And we received a private cremation which we were present for and ensured our dogs cremation was private. Avoid communal cremation! This was our first time doing such a thing and it was so sad but so comforting. Now two HUGE issues... We sadly came home to our pug passed away at home at about 10pm. After mourning and taking care of him, we immediately started searching for a crematorium. Final Gift advertised 24 hour. They are certainly not. Among every other one we called. At a hard time, it's horrible having to wait for an answer, especially when it's advertised differently. We heard back at about 8:30am. Also, we wanted our other dog present for comfort. They don't allow any living pets in the building sadly. They received 4 stars only because the actual service was beyond perfect.

We were blown away by how beautiful Abraham’s urn was along with the memory flower seeds and plaque with his name on it. This was our first experience having to cremate a pet and it was so much better than I could have expected. Everyone involved was very professional and sympathetic. Thank you so much
Carlos Ruiz
The woman working that day was kind, gentle and so sweet. I found this place last minute and I am grateful that I did. I have already recommended this place to friends and family. My dog was of the utmost importance member of the family. The price options were fair. Thank you.

Final gift requires the vet office to collect payment from the owner before you can see or collect ur cremated animal. They do this to ensure they get paid even if they have provided poor service. They did not provide the correct urn, and hung up on me when I tried to have them to fix their error. I left the knock off/wrong urn at the vet. I will most likely not get the one I wanted, or my money back, but at least I can warn people to watch out for their trickery.Final gift, you can pick up your cheap knock off urn from Ocean State Veterinary Services. I hope someone buries you in the wrong knock off coffin/urn.

After experiencing a horrific situation that resulted in the death of our best friend, our soulmate, Simba, we were referred to Final Gift for cremation services. When I called them crying like a baby on our way home from a complete stranger for emergency veterinarian service 50+ miles from their location, they listened, compassionately. They arranged pick up our yellow lab...our life, so many miles away. He was layed out for our viewing and final good-byes in a private room. The staff were all so sympathetic, caring and understanding. We desperately needed that personal time especially after leaving the love of our lives with strangers so far away. This is killing me to write but I am hoping this review will help someone else with end of life needs for their pets. Five stars is not enough, 100% complete satisfaction. Thank you so very much for your compassion, it really helped.
Aidan Heck
When I received my pet's remains I found that the urn was partially opened in its box and ashes had fallen from the urn into the box. I was able to unscrew the urn's lid and firmly seal the urn properly with ease, showing no defect with the urn itself. I can only assume this was due to carelessness on the part of whoever moved my pet into the urn. After looking at my pet's certificate I called to ask to speak to the employee who had provided the service. The employee who answered the phone introduced the business, I said my name and asked to speak to the man who had done the cremation. The employee then said I had the wrong number and abruptly ended the call. I hope that this happens to no one else as finding your pet's ashes have not been properly cared for is extremely disrespectful and hurtful.

When my Nikki came back home to me, I was really impressed.. It is a very difficult time for me,but with the beautiful urn and the Certificate and also the flowers that I can plant in Nikki's name just made it easier. Just to know the care you put into every step you took. Nikki has a special place in our home..The Rainbow Bridge is very comforting. It bought tears and joy to me..Thank you. Dotty and Nikki Snyder
Mary Ann Joyce
When I was at the vet's office to put my dog to sleep I opted for a private cremation and a paw print. The ashes were returned in a beautiful box but I was disappointed in the paw print. I expected it to be cast in plaster, not foam. Looks very cheap for the price paid.
Elijah Wendel
Sweet people, fantastic service. I had 3 rats cremated through them, and they respected all of my annoying personal requests perfectly. My boys were littermates and had never known life apart from each other. I am so glad to have my boys home, together in one urn.
Pop Sergeant (Pop)
I’m an old worn out soldier, Final Gift may have been the best decision I’ve made since I retired: my 15 year old best friend was treated with respect, kindness, and honor, as was I in my grief. Salute. And thank you.
Deirdre Lorusso
The loss of my dog was heartbreaking, but the folks at Final Gift made a horrible situation so much better. It started with Dr. Ruel bringing my girl to them. She is an amazingly compassionate vet. Then Final Gift delivered my girl back to me, in a beautiful heart shaped urn. Nice little keychain so she's always with me. But beyond that, a sympathy card and seeds to plant next spring. So thoughtful. Thank you so much for treating my dog so nicely. You are wonderful people.
Rhonda Antuono

Tammy DeCoste
My sister's dog Levi passed away on 1/1/24, final pet memorial did a wonderful job on cremation box, card , fur & dog prints, Then sadly my sweet dog, Daisy passed away & I choose Final pet memorial too, The thoughtfulness during this difficult time was very appreciated, we wish our dogs would of lived forever, we are so sad 😢 😪🙏🏼❤️ God Bless.

Donna King

Allison Knight
I couldn’t have asked for better service. She was so compassionate towards my loss & is even going out of her way to bring my my urn. Im so blessed to have found this beautiful place. They made sure I knew my bunny was left in good hands I appreciate them so much definitely the best place to bring your loved ones
