I lost my father in June. Brian and his team were amazing! They helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. Brian helped me pick out flowers, the Urn making it very special as my dad was a WWII veteran. He arranged the priest and the army men to come to the service. It was beautiful. Where do I begin? I’ll start by saying that from my initial phone call to Brian in August 2023 after my father passed that it was then that I felt in my heart that I made the perfect choice in funeral homes to handle the arrangements for my father’s home going services. Brian was so kind to me on the phone and extremely professional. He handled things quickly which made the most stressful time of my life a lot easier to bear. Everything that he did was stellar from him working with the VA to get a form that I had a challenge getting on my own to him assisting with writing a beautiful obituary, Brian handled every detail of the arrangements phenomenally. I have had to handle services for family members who have passed over the years with multiple funeral homes both down the shore and in Philadelphia. None come close as to how Brian and his team make you feel. From the video that was created by his staff, the beautiful blanket of my Uncle to which I received from Brian, the customized thank you cards and the fancy car that took my Uncle to his final resting place. Brian Donnelly and his team are by far one of the very best for funeral services when you lose a loved one.My 94 year old mother passed away in January and we knew she wanted her funeral services at Murphy Ruffenach Donnelly based on her own request over the years. She always spoke highly of Brian's genuine and kind nature plus the services he and his staff provide for others funeral services for family members and friends.I had several other experiences with Brian and his team with other relatives funerals but more as an outside participant. Brian and his team was extremely helpful in guiding me through the arrangement of my father’s services. My father choose to pass away at home and Brian and his team were on call to pick up Dad’s body. Late on a Saturday evening, within 45 minutes of hospice completing their work, Brian’s team was there to help. They were kind and compassionate during our greatest time of sorrow. Brian went above and beyond in arranging the services and coordinating with vendors. He obtained great deals on the luncheon venue after the services and assisted in all coordination with the Mass as well as other vendors participating in the day’s events. During the grieving process, Brian’s team checked in on us to be sure we were managing well and to inquire as to whether or not we needed anything. It takes a very special person, full of empathy and understanding, to guide people through the end of life process, loss, and funeral arrangements. I’m extremely thankful Brian and his team came highly recommended to me through friends and I would recommend them to anyone.

We lost our son go to a murder he was only 26 years old and we were so saddened by the event and shocked we had no idea what to do ( who thinks about burying their son?) Brian and his team was extremely helpful in guiding me through the arrangement of my father’s services. My father choose to pass away at home and Brian and his team were on call to pick up Dad’s body. Late on a Saturday evening, within 45 minutes of hospice completing their work, Brian’s team was there to help. They were kind and compassionate during our greatest time of sorrow. Brian went above and beyond in arranging the services and coordinating with vendors. He obtained great deals on the luncheon venue after the services and assisted in all coordination with the Mass as well as other vendors participating in the day’s events. During the grieving process, Brian’s team checked in on us to be sure we were managing well and to inquire as to whether or not we needed anything. It takes a very special person, full of empathy and understanding, to guide people through the end of life process, loss, and funeral arrangements. I’m extremely thankful Brian and his team came highly recommended to me through friends and I would recommend them to anyone.

It was the most difficult time in my life and Brian made me feel comfortable.They made my sons viewing and mass feel like my son was royalty. My Dad passed away in New Orleans. Brian took all the stress away from arranging my Father's funeral. Brian immediately stepped in to save us thousands of dollars to have him cremated 2 hours away. I buried my mom and mother in law within a week of each other. Today was my mother in law's funeral and last Wednesday was my moms. They had 2 different types of funerals one catholic and my mom is catholic but a Protestant minister came out to speak in the funeral home instead of doing church. I've worked with Brian 3 or 4 times. There's a reason my family and I keep going back. It doesn't get much worse than burying a loved one but Brian takes all the strain of of you. 5 stars doesnt do this place justice. Brian and his team went above and beyond d my expectations. It was the most difficult time in my life and Brian made me feel comfortable.They made my sons viewing and mass feel like my son was royalty. They made sure me and my whole family was comfortable and were there for anything we needed. Brian went out of his way for us I can’t thank him and his team enough.He even checked on me weeks after the fact. You can’t get any more personable then they have with us. My Dad passed away in New Orleans. Brian took all the stress away from arranging my Father's funeral. Brian immediately stepped in to save us thousands of dollars to have him cremated 2 hours away. He arranged transportation of the cremains to Philly. On service day Brian and his team really provided concierge service. It is not surprising he has solid 5 star reviews. I can't thank Brian enough!

I buried my mom and mother in law within a week of each other. Today was my mother in law's funeral and last Wednesday was my moms. They had 2 different types of funerals one catholic and my mom is catholic but a Protestant minister came out to speak in the funeral home instead of doing church. The service at Murphy Ruffenach Brian Donnelly Funeral Home is one of the best I have ever seen. Everyone is so polite and helpful, they make sure you have everything you and your family needs. They are very respectful to your loved ones and made you feel like family. I have never heard of a complaint with them at all. They are very organized, clean and professional. I will use their funeral home always. Thank you for helping me out 2 people to rest that were very close to me. One of the best! 💐💝🙏❤️‍🩹

I've worked with Brian 3 or 4 times. There's a reason my family and I keep going back. It doesn't get much worse than burying a loved one but Brian takes all the strain of of you. He doesn't just talk, he listens. There isn't a situation he hasn't experienced, so there isn't a problem he doesn't have a solution to. If you have a small budget, you still don't have to worry. He will make everything look great for you.

Excellent service. Great kind people. My first experience was in 2011 my dad passed away he only had 700$ in insurance. They help us to get in contact with s.s. and also allowed us to pay for crramation when we were able to get funds together.My mom passed away 2021 and I contacted them for her cremation also. They came out picked up the body., understood that I did not want to see her taken out. Offered the same great service.Mom and dad are now in a double ⚱️ that was reasonable priced.I have their card and am currently working on plans for my future cremation so that my son doesn't have to worry about making arrangements for me.
