I was very selfish the last couple months with our dog Jax. As I’m sure everyone is also. When we finally made the decision I called peaceful pet passage. The lady I spoke to originally was so nice even through my crying on the phone just talking about the appointment. We decided to use their family suit because I didn’t want our young child to be present. It was absolutely beautiful. I wasn’t sure what to expect as our dog was the first dog we owned and got at 18. The Doctor was amazing and let everything happen on my time. Not even a week later we got a call to pick up Jax. My oldest son who grew up with our dog wanted to come along. The sweet lady that handles the desk was sympathetic to the fact I had my 7 year old with me. And was very careful with the wording she used. I really appreciated that. My husband and I both agreed we will be using peaceful pet passage in the future for any other animals. (Hopefully not for a long time).

Our experience with everyone involved was perfect. Everyone was so very kind and compassionate. Jesse was feeling protective and Dr. Mary was very kind and patient. I appreciate everything they have done for us during this very difficult time.

Our Bernese Mountain Dog had Degenerative Myelopathy (DM). We made the heartbreaking decision to have him euthanized. 😢 Dr. Mary came to the house and explained the process. She was very compassionate and made us and Bernie feel comfortable. She even made a paw print of Bernie which we could keep. After Bernie passed, Steve very gently removed Bernie so he could be cremated which is what we wanted.

I can't say enough about how compassionate and empathetic they were when I explained how Zod had been struggling and how I wanted him to pass in peace at home. The vet they sent was wonderful and she explained the whole process in a gentle manner even while myself and my grandmother were sobbing over losing him. But he got to pass with dignity and knowing he was loved, and that's what is important. As an additional gesture that touched my heart, they wrapped his ashes in a bit of the blankie I had wrapped him in before he was put in the burial shawl for cremation. I didn't expect that and when I saw it I cried because of how that was such a beautiful thing to do.The facility itself is gorgeous and the respect and kindness we were shown definitely made a massive impression. I can't say enough good things about these folks. Thank you for helping me through the hardest decision I've ever had to make.

Highest recommendation.I am eternally grateful for Peaceful Pet Passage. I have used this business for 3 beloved pets, really family members, over the years. This business excels at customer service and care and offers integrity, dignity with real support, and peace of mind. Also, pre-planning is incredibly easy and affordable, offering numerous options. Most recently, my cherished border collie, Finn, who lived a long full life was laid to rest at home in peace without trauma in an environment of love & support, falling into painless peaceful eternal sleep. The compassionate veterinarian and team member took care of Finn like he was their own family member.Doing the right thing for Finn was my top priority & I am so grateful and forever thankful to the Peaceful Pet Passage Team for offering me this invaluable home service and private cremation.Thank you.Arthur McFeaters

These people do a terrific thing. When our companions have to leave this world behind, I can't think of a better way for it to happen than what they do. Professional, caring, kind, respectful, and any other terms that mean the same. None of us want to have to say good bye. But when it's time to do so, my trust will be here with them.

Dr. Morgan was arranged to come within 2 days. She was so gentle and kind with our dying 15 yr old dog. The process made us at ease with our decision. Callbacks are very prompt. Very reasonable cost for a peaceful goodbye.

This is an extraordinary service! Our "child" as well as ourselves were treated in such a regal manner. The ladies in the office, the Doctor, and the gentleman that drove the hearse were all very compassionate and considerate. They all understood that the animal they were working with was not an animal at all but an incredibly loved and cherished member of our family. This area is lucky to have such a wonderful "funeral parlor" for their four legged children.

We have used their services twice. Each time the attending vet was great. The compasion for our furkids (and us) was very much appreciated. It is always a tough decision to make the final decision. They helped us realize that we were making the right decision. They helped our furkids cross the Rainbow Bridge in our home instead of at the vet. Both hated the car and we did not want them to have this as a last experience. No hesistation to use them again in the future when the time comes.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet Chevy boy so our hearts are hurting but the staff at PPP were so kind and patient. We were able to say goodbye to Chevy at home where he was comfortable and loved ones were by his side. I would highly recommend them.

We recently had to say goodbye to our 17 yr old soul dog. Making the call to Peaceful Pet Passage was the hardest thing I have ever done, but I am so grateful we were able to work with them. Every person we spoke with or interacted with from PPP was so kind and compassionate. They helped to make the hardest experience of our lives something truly beautiful and I cannot express enough gratitude for their services.

Such great people here. Its horrible having to put your pet down. Our dog, Max, had a fast growing tumor making it hard for him to breathe, and uncomfortable for him to lay down. We decided we wanted him to pass away at home rather then in a strange vet office. John is a very caring person who loves animals dearly. I can't say enough good things about the service he provides.
Larry Cliver
More than pleased with how well they took care of my dog Nettie-Cheyenne. She was never once out of my sight throughout the whole process. Although I still have her remains with me, they got everything right about her cremation and memorial. She’ll be laid to rest with me in Tabor, Iowa when my time comes too.As far as I’m concerned, Peaceful Pet Passage is the very best!

While you never want to come to the point of deciding to call for their services, Peaceful Pet Passage handled our Elli with grace and dignity. We were able to call for euthanasia and cremation services the same day for our old girl who had grown increasingly sick over a few day span. Dr. Morgan visited our home to help us through the process of putting Elli at peace. We were given a keepsake of her paw and given plenty of space and time to say our farewells. The entire process was very gentle for Elli and for us. She was transported by Dr. Morgan and her driver to the Mechanicsburg location for private cremation. We were notified 4 days later that Elli was ready to be returned to us. We made arrangements to pick up her urn and paperwork at the York office. The communication was gentle and professional. Pick up went smoothly and we weren't hurried along at all. We felt treated with love and respect and encouraged to visit the memorial once her name is listed in the coming months. We are missing our girl but grateful for the care and experience with this team.

We took our cat Dorey here after she passed. I really don't have the words to describe how wonderful this place is. We were a mess at the loss of our beloved cat and we were treated with the utmost kindness and understanding. The process was very simple and explained very clearly and when emotions are clouding ones mind how these wonderful people get through the fog and make sure our wishes were 100% complete and done. We picked up our sweet little lady and could not have been more happy with the work they did. The grounds and facility were immaculate and we can give no higher praise and appreciation for these wonderful people in our hours if need.

They help you go through one of the worst moments of your life. Morgan was sweet and compassionate. I can’t tell you how comforting it was to have him pass at home with us. We are heartbroken and you guys made his last moments peaceful. Thank you so much

They are very compassionate. They care deeply and make you feel just a little better during a hard time. They do not make you feel rushed in any way. I would highly recommend them for when/if the time comes to have to put a loved fur baby down. They were sincere and just plain out amazing in every aspect from communicating to the afterdeath.

I had never used an at home euthanasia service before and I will never use anything but an at home euthanasia service in the future. From the first phone call til the very end, Peaceful Pet Passage was wonderful. Dr. Mary was compassionate, caring and patient. We never felt rushed thru the process. Our cat hated car drives and was terrified the whole time we were in our vet's clinic. He came down with cancer a few months ago and we dreaded making his last few hours full of fear. A friend recommended Peaceful Pet Passage and I made the call this morning. The vet was absolutely fabulous; so tender with our cat, so patient with the rest of us. Our cat was relaxed with her and didn't even show a reaction to the first injection that made him sleep. A few minutes later she gave him his second injection and all was finished. We are so thankful for the excellent service and the price was very reasonable.

Dr Morgan and Jerry were outstanding in assisting my cat, Casey, have a stress free experience. I have lived with cats my entire life and this has surpassed all previous end of life experiences. Casey lived a good life, but one filled with stress at every turn. The fact that she did not have to leave the house allowed her to be relaxed instead of ending consumed in fear. I am most grateful for the expertise and experience shown to me and Casey. Thank you, Joyce C

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Peaceful Pet Passage. We recently had to put our 16 year old kitty to sleep, and everyone there was just amazing to deal with. I called before they opened and left a message requesting an appointment and they called quickly after opening and were able to see us that afternoon. The Dr was incredibly kind, compassionate, and gentle with us all. They've been just as wonderful in the follow ups and to return her ashes to us. Thank you to everyone we interacted with. Love to all the families who need their services.

From the moment I contacted Peaceful Passage until the last email they sent, the service was outstanding. We were obviously going through a rough time and had to make a hard decision for our dog. Nothing about it was easy but if anything made it easier, it was our experience with Peaceful Passage. We called on a Sunday morning and they were able to come to our home later that afternoon. The veterinarian, Dr. Caplan, was the best! He was so incredibly nice and gentle. He talked us through the process and gave us as much time as we needed. We always knew when the time came, this was something we wanted to do in our own home. Not only was it easier for us but most importantly, it was easier, less stressful and more comfortable for our pet. I highly recommend using Peaceful Passage. They made the best out of the experience and it was well worth it.

Dr. Mary explained everything and was so kind throughout the procedure. I am so glad that we used Peaceful Pet Passage to put our cat to sleep instead of a stressful trip to the vet's office. Their pricing was also very reasonable compared to another local service.

One of the hardest things in life the loss of a pet. In-home euthanasia is the best choice. This facility treated everything from start to finish with compassion, dignity, and professionalism.

I cannot say enough kind words about Peaceful Pet Passage. We had to make the incredibly difficult decision to have our 14 year old dog, Milo put to rest. The whole experience was made so much easier. I didn't feel rushed and was given more than enough time to say goodbye all in the comfort of my home. I can rest easy knowing I made the right choice for my fur baby and highly recommended Peaceful Pet Passage for anyone who needs a respectful, humane and loving way to help your fur baby cross the rainbow bridge.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I was originally going to take my fur baby to be cremated at the vet, but I just got a bad feeling "drop them off whenever and we will get them back to you in 7-10 days". My fiance's sister used to be a vet tech and said that she had heard nothing but great things from people about Peaceful Pet Passage, so I decided to give them a call. From the get go, it was a completely different experience. They were kind and patient on the phone, explaining my options and setting my appointment. When I arrived, they had a pet stretcher laid out for me to lay my fur baby, and encouraged me to use their room to say my last goodbyes, and then we handled the paperwork. Within 24 hours, they called to let me know that I could come pick up her remains, and they have a wonderful presentation with a wooden box, some locks of her hair, and a nameplate with a photo holder for a photo of her. They also etch her name into a large memorial plaque they have on their property. Their caring and attention to detail really helped me through a terrible time during the loss of my beloved dog. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Morgan was so nice and gentle with our little Willie. He was the sweetest, cutest. Yorkie and we loved him and he loved us. Thank you for helping us to find grace in letting Willie have a peaceful passage from this world. We are very grateful.

Every aspect of my experience with Peaceful Pet Passage was wonderful. When I called on Saturday morning to schedule in-home euthanasia that day for my 13 year old foster dog, knowing we couldn’t make it to the emergency vet, Lori made the process so easy, and continued to demonstrate compassion with each phone call since then. Dr. Mary Riordan was wonderful, gave us plenty of time and explained everything she was doing, and the transport driver (whose name I’m blanking on) was so respectful and kind. Rob was incredibly accommodating when I called the following Monday asking to get an ink print of my dog’s paw (in addition to the clay impression that was done when they came on Saturday), and he made it happen without hesitation. I highly recommend Peaceful Pet Passage to any pet parent - the compassion, professionalism, and peace of mind make it well worth the cost. It takes a truly special team of people to support you and your pet during such a devastating time, and they do it flawlessly.

Dr Mary and Jerry were angels. Thank you for making our dog Wrigley’s Passage over The Rainbow bridge peaceful and with dignity, Your kindness will be forever appreciated and remembered as part of our loss and make It a bit less painful. Thank you for what you do to help us grieving pet parents. You are appreciated. Thank you for your love.
Nicole Kohler
John was incredibly warm, professional, and punctual in helping us schedule an in-home visit for our 15-year-old cat with short notice. Dr. Elizabeth was similarly professional and kind, and explained to us everything she was doing and asked for permission before each step. With her help we were able to peacefully say goodbye to Zero. I can't recommend these folks enough - they made an extremely difficult time easier on myself and my husband, and showed a wonderful amount of kindness to us throughout the entire process. It was well worth the cost to have a home visit. Thank you to the team for your professionalism.

We were very impressed with the Dr. and driver that came to our home. They were both caring and compassionate and explained every step. I'd definitely recommend their services to everybody. It was more painful to see our Remmie trying to get around day after day and this way we were with him to say our goodbyes. We'll miss our big guy, but he's always going to be in our hearts, and we'll add his ashes along with Bailey and Dexter on the shelf.💔 puppy dog kisses, hugs & wishes Buddy!!!

During one of the most heart-wrenching moments of our adult life, Peaceful Pet Passage showed us and our beloved pet kind, courteous, and professional care. They allowed us as much time between steps as we needed and moved at OUR pace. They were delicate and compassionate with our angel. It was as if they were talking to and caring for one of their own pets. After a few days, they called to say our pet's remains were ready to be picked up. The gentleman who met me to exchange the remains and information was so kind and informative. He answered all questions I had and was sensitive when I just couldn't contain my emotions. They truly, truly care about you and your pets. If your pets are your family and you want to treat them with the same respect you would a human after they're gone, call Peaceful Pet Passage. They can't make the process any easier on your heart, but they certainly do everything in their power to refrain from adding any additional pain or heartache to this already emotionally draining process.Additionally, they have this massive, extremely well designed memorial wall they're building. They're also in process of adding a lodge so it will be a permanent structure. Ask them about this. Even if you don't use their services, you can have your dog's name added to this memorial wall. It's a wonderful touch.I hope to never have to use this type of service again, but the circle of life dictates otherwise. When the time comes, we'll be calling Peaceful Pet Passage again.

We just got our two dogs put down and cremated. The whole experience with losing our beloved pets was awful, but was so much more bearable with Peaceful Pet Passage. The set up they have is great and I felt like my dogs were 100% treated with respect. Worth every penny. Highly recommend. ❤️

Jessica Ortiz

Nathan Ulrey
Anyone with pets knows how hard it is to make the final decision. But once the decision is made I'm so glad for an in home service, it made my Nixxie's trip across the rainbow bridge so much better. The vet that showed up at our house was both respectful and compassionate. She took the time to bring everyone at ease including our two other dogs. The person that was sent along to collect was just as professional. He sat outside until we were ready, and gave us a few minutes to say our final goodbyes. My previous experiences at the vet's office were never bad, but being able to be at home was so much better for everyone. The cost of such a service will hurt the pocketbook a bit, but in my opinion it is worth every penny for the dignity it allows.

We had an appointment with PPP to have our Johnny B euthanized, however, his condition worsened dramatically and they could not get him in earlier so we ended up taking him to our vet to euthanize him in order to end his pain, but we still took him to PPP to utilize their cremation services. We felt rushed from the very beginning. The person (I believe the owner) kept mentioning he had to leave to go pick up another pet, even though we had a scheduled appointment. He made no effort to get someone else to help us and no condolences of any kind were offered. We requested a paw print in clay and were assured (both when we called and when we dropped him off) that it would be included. When we picked up his ashes, there was no paw print. Apparently it was overlooked. This person (not the same person) said "Unfortunately it's too late now to do anything about it." You think? Very disappointing experience during an already very difficult time. We've used PPP in the past with no issues, however, this experience has made us question whether or not we will use them again in the future.

We had a great experience. The vet was sympathetic and professional. The whole team was great. They also scheduled within two days of us calling which was great because our dog was declining faster then expected. We really appreciate everything they did for us. These folks truly show they understand pet owner loss. We used them 8 years ago and they were perfect, compassionate and professional. Today we once again visited to see our pets name on the memorial wall. As I am unable to walk much distance, they accommodated by assuring we could view the wall. MUCH APPRECIATED ! To boot, our guide explained the future plans for the facility. These are bright and promising. Highly recommended !

They were so compassionate and caring with the passing of our buddy dog. I would very highly recommend this service. They were professional and very compassionate with handling the passing of our beloved pet. I give you 5 stars. I'd actually give you 10 stars. Highly recommend them.

We wanted to make this as peaceful as an experience possible, for our boy, his brother and sisters, and us. We were given the time to say our final goodbyes with no pressure, or expectations. Its not easy, but the good Dr. came with compassion and empathy. I called many places and decided on PPP for this procedure. We were 100% pleased with the entire process. I pray we will never have to make the decision again, but if we would, we will definitely use their services again.

When I had to say goodbye to my handsome boy Patrick it was one of the hardest things I've ever done...John and Dr.Hill were so very gentle and kind and loving...it takes very special people to do that job...God bless them both my boy went peacefully and his suffering ended in minutes he just went to sleep anyone struggling with that decision shouldn't hesitate to call them. Also the location is beautiful rolling hills...as soon as I saw his resting place I knew I made the right choice in Peaceful Pet Passage

The kindness and compassion that was shown to me and my beloved cat can hardly be expressed in words. I feel their services were outstanding. They gave me ample time to say goodbye. It's a beautiful facility.

This is a great place for cremation. We had 3 of our pets. They were very friendly and comforting. The place has improved so much and is very beautiful. The owners are beautiful people. They offer so many different choices. Bless anyone who visits.

This review goes beyond the priceless caring services PPP has provided to us when saying goodbye to our Yellow Labrador Winter and our German Weimaraner Mr. Wyatt Earp. I want to share with you the flood of emotion upon seeing the tombstone PPP's preferred vendor created for us (photo). If you have used PPP's services then you are familiar with the ash boxes (photo). We will bury our paw-baby brothers' boxes together beneath this tombstone (heavy and thick granite) at one of their favorite places on our property, fire pit side where they enjoyed many evenings (and many stolen hotdogs). Saying "5 stars" is somehow inadequate. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. (We just adopted a Greyhound, Lester the Greyt... so we will see you again but hopefully not too soon.)

I can't say enough about our experience with Peaceful Pet Passage and the care they gave to both my beloved heart dog, Zoda, and me. Using PPP was absolutely the best decision I could have made with the very difficult choice I had to make.

Helpful. Ultimately had to use Rossmoyne as peaceful pet passages was too booked and too expensive. The up charge on the euthanasia if you don’t use their cremation was disappointing.

I have call a number of times and there is NEVER anyone there to answer the calls. We used this service for our first dog and it took more than 6 month to see if our dog was buried, we called several times just to get an answer. To me this is not a good way to do business.

I called Peaceful Pet Passage 2 months ago to set up an appointment for my dog. To this day I have not received a return phone call.

So beautiful and peaceful, they did a fabulous fabulous job, so caring, compassionate and let us get closure. Handled her well...

Christy Kam

Jan Stine

Making the decision was so hard. Aly was so heart broken. Dr. Morgan was amazing and walked her through every step. I’ve walked through the process at a vets office and doing it at PPP was calm and relaxing. Completely peaceful environment. They gave time for Aly to say bye. Grateful for them.
