Rikki from Molden was the most wonderful person to me through everything. She is caring and patient. She follows through on everything. She even followed up to make sure everything was fine. She made my experience very easy and smooth. She walked me through everything. She made sure the arrangements were perfect from the flowers, to the military honors, to the video and portrait. I want to "Thank " Molden Funeral Chapel for providing exceptional services for my son's father who passed away unexpectedly April.The Children involved are a part of a blended family with many different dynamics.The service provided was handled professionally as well as with love and care for everyone involved.Enrichetta and Rose did a great job. Enrichetta continued to provide support as needed.I highly recommend Molden Funeral Chapel.

Just a public service message: Molden funeral home is NOT owned by The Moldens anymore. Do not go there! We had a death in the family on April 12. They told us it would be about a week. We tried to call them for 2 weeks with no answer or call back. We finally got in touch with a human on this past Friday and they never called to let us know that we could pick up the cremains. They have also lost important paperwork and we STILL do not have death certificates. DO NOT USE MOLDEN FUNERAL HOME! The new company kept the name, not the service or caring that was synonymous with it.

Molden Funeral Chapel has delivered exceptional service for our family over several decades. Most recently for our brother. We were on a tight schedule and obviously grief stricken, Gary and his team were able to accommodate our wishes in a very short timeframe. Gary was both professional and personable whenever dealing with me or my family. Great service is hard to find these days, Gary and his team came through for us.

I recently contacted the Molden Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services to learn how to have the year of my Dad's death placed on the grave stone. It had somehow slipped through the cracks and I wanted to make sure to honor my Dad. The wonderful people at Molden Funeral Chapel came through for me and Supervisor Karen Lamb arranged for the engraving to be completed. They did this all long distance as I no longer live in Pennsylvania. Karen treated me with respect through the process and helped me to put closure where it was needed. I am truly grateful for her kindness and professionalism.

They made the process of planning a funeral super easy and did multiple things for me and my family from arranging the urn to slideshows and allowing photo boards and music to make my fathers funeral special. Leaving a bad review because ur bookkeeping sucks. Recently you handled a funeral for Fonda Barnaby. You gave my daughter a price and then you changed it. Now you say you'll look into it. What's to look into?You quoted a price,she signed contract,gave a deposit, then you raised price. We would like our $3500 back.She was in today and was told you'll look into it. You owe her 3500 bucks just pay her!

My grandfather recently passed away & due to location we called Moldens. They charged my grieving grandmother with so much money that she needed to pay forward with it was ridiculous. We ended up having to move my grandfathers body to a different funeral home because they were so inconsiderate at a difficult time. I DO NOT recommend anyone to go there. They were difficult, rude, & should never do this to someone who is going through something like this at this time.

- minus-15 stars*********I feel that maybe I shouldn't be so negative at my time of grieving. I just feel I need to say something so no one else needs to deal with this at their time of loss. My sister lost her daughter unexpectedly. She was very young. Moldon Funeral Home was the first place thought of due to their location. My sister, myself, along with my nieces father and his sister met with a young girl to make the arrangements. The young girl seemed very uneducated about what goes on at her own place of business. Any questions we had her response was "I don't know" or "I'm not sure" and didn't offer to find out or to ask someone else. Simply left it at "I don't know". After getting through that appointment, my sister left unsure, undecided and intimidated because of how cold and rude the girl was. Another day she stopped by and spoke to a very kind gentleman. He was helpful and understanding. He had straighten things out and asked my sister to stop back. Unfortunately, only the girl was there when my sister came back to drop money off. Again, very cold and rude. She handed my sister a print out and somehow tacked more charges on. When my sister asked what they were she replied with her famous " I don't know"!! Finally, the day of the services my sister went with the rest of the money and to pick up her daughters ashes. She was greeted by that girl, in a very condescending way " You're husband was here and paid ALL the money so he now has the ashes". My sister walked away heart-broken and empty handed. My sister promised her 4 grandchildren that she would have necklaces made for them to remember their mommy and now had to go home and face them to tell them she couldn't bring home mommy's ashes. ::: My sister is next to kin and Moldons knew that:Law says next of kin gets the ashes, it does not say whoever pays the rest of the bill takes them home:I'm sorry, but I think if you are in this type of business you need to be compassionate and understanding. This girl needs to find another occupation. Maybe, bill collector or a prison guard.

Let me just say this place treats you like family any questions I had or any information I needed they worked on it right away and resolved everything they had a tree lighting and a memorial for our loved ones that have passed and I never felt so much love and happiness and Santa was great, i recommend this place to anyone Gary and Wendy are the absolute BEST I can never say thank you enough for the kind words and the comfort that you have showed me at the hardest times when you loose someone it’s good to know that this local place treats you just like family.

My mother's funeral at Molden was disappointing. Didn't look like my mother. The room was dirty...window blinds were a mess. I was embarrassed to have friends and family see this. Never again will I use this funeral home.
