Choosing Ferguson Funeral Home is a clear and easy decision that will lighten the burden of the process.They're kind, professional, accomodating and go above and beyond to assure all goes smooth. Prices are fair and clear and the funeral home itself is beautiful and arranged in a way that allows for privacy to grieve. There's even a play area that allows children a place to escape the weight of the situation.I'm beyond gratful we have their services available in Blairsville.

Ferguson Funeral Home worked with our family and made our experience with my Father's funeral a good one. They are very easy to work with and aim to please. There also were no hidden costs which is always a good thing. They make you feel like family.

The whole team at Ferguson is incredible. When you're grieving and muddled, they know just what to say and do. They are extremely responsive, doing everything to ensure that your wishes, and the wishes of your loved one, are honored. They know what you need before you need it, and guide without pushing. They offer a surprising number of options for cards, headstones, urns, etc.The owners were visibly present through our entire event and went far beyond the normal service--creating a lovely video, helping to carry things to our cars, letting us use their parking even after our event, helping our disabled relatives enter/exit more easily, making appropriate announcements, and making everything so much easier for us. I am so grateful that we found them.

I was very happy with services I received from James Ferguson Funeral Home. Melissa was not only compassionate in her response but managed to provide turnkey service, coordinating both with another funeral home out of state and the cemetery. At a time where processing a loss is difficult my mind was put at ease immediately. I never felt I was pushed to buy more than what I wanted, although I felt she did a great job presenting what was available. I had to work over the phone and email, but Melissa coordinated everything beautifully for an intimate funeral and burial in Pennsylvania while providing guidance for a memorial church service in Virginia. The Ferguson’s were on-site for the burial making sure that everything was perfect. All very much appreciated.

For almost six decades I have gone to Ferguson Funeral Home to view friends and family members. When Mom passed recently Ferguson’s was the funeral home we selected. Jim and his staff were caring and compassionate. They worked with our family to ensure we were pleased with every detail. My 94 year old father was thrilled. Mom looked beautiful! We will continue to put our confidence in Ferguson Funeral Home for many years to come.

Jim and his staff were incredibly wonderful to my husband and me when my Uncle died. We traveled from Rochester NY to take care of his final arrangements and Jim helped us through the entire process including helping with hotel reservations for us while we were there. Because we lived out of town and couldn’t stay for the burial, Jim sent me pictures of my Uncles urn and his burial. Today, one year later, I received a card in the mail from Jim and his staff to comfort us at this painful anniversary. I wish we received that same service at my mother’s service just 2 months later. There is no comparison with the two. Superb is my experience with these wonderful people. God bless you.
