I was devestated to be in the position to require Green Pet's services, as all of us are. However, I can gladly recommend their services to anyone in the same position. They were so reassuring that my cat, Sofia, would be treated with respect and dignity throughout the entire process. Like all pet parents, I was concerned about making sure I got Sofia back instead of someone else by mistake. Barb, the manager, was incredibly kind, compassionate and patient while explaining the process. She kept me informed about Sofia's status. Paul, another wonderful employee, called to let me know when he dropped Sofia off at our vet for pick up. Her urn is dignified and beautiful. I am grateful for these employees helping me through this tough time. They provided resources, offered their condolances and even inquired about the mental well being of my other pets during this time and ensured I was aware of depression symptoms they, too, could exhibit. I am sure all of my pets while living in this area will eventually be in their hands. As much as I hate that thought, caring for our pets post-mortem is the same as taking them to the vet, imo. They deserve the best care. Thank you Green Pet Funeral for your help and support.

We just received Jack back from Green Pet Funeral Home and they went so far above and beyond anything I expected for my baby. They provided his paw print and a tuft of hair (both things I didn’t think of in the moment we had to make a gut wrenching choice), along with his ashes in a box with his name and a beautiful poem about the Rainbow Bridge. I am grateful they took such good care of him ❤️

I just picked up my cats ashes and wasn't expecting to get what I got from my late cat, Shady. His ashes came in a beautiful box with his name on the front, a paw print, and some of his fur. I will use this place in the future when I lose another furry family member. My cat was put down at the emergency vet on camp Horne road and was cremated at green pet. They called me as soon as his ashes were ready to be picked up. It's very inexpensive considering the box and paw print that comes with the ashes. The lock of fur was so special to me and was a nice touch to have from my beloved pet.

If I could give 6 stars 🌟 I would . Now my Fur Baby passed right in my arms 1/5/25 my Dear Harley (Pomeranian) he was my lil old man baby he was 8years old my best friend. Anywho I so upset saddened and distraught I googled GreenPet Funeral Home . I started my process online and came in the very next morning with my son 🐶and Ms Angela was so nice , concerned and compassionate to helping us with Harley and his arrangement . They were very Kind helpful and prices for service's are Great we highly thank you for your service in our time in need

Picked up the remains of our cat today. Staff was very nice. The urn was beautiful. Plus I got a footprint and a lock of her fur. I have been through this before and this was by far the nicest experience and well worth the money. Thank you.

We unexpectedly lost our furbaby in February of this year, Green Pet Funeral Home went above and beyond to help us through the process. They not only helped to ease our grief through their compassion but they also were thoughtful enough to include clippings of her fur, something we neglected to ask for but we are beyond grateful to have. When the unfortunate time comes around that we are in need of this precious service again, we will most definitely use them again.

I lost 2 cats in the last 2 months and had them both cremated, I never had a pet cremated before and was nervous..when I got both my cats back they both had beautiful urns with there names on it, a footprint and some fur. I questioned the urn cause my one cat was in a smaller one and the gentleman said it goes by weight when they get your pet which makes sense. They did a great job and will recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much for going above and beyond with the nice things you include.

Just picked up my dogs ashes. They also provided a paw print and a lock of her fur. The box is engraved and absolutely beautiful. I’m so grateful that they took such good care of my girl. It's the one thing you never want to think about or go through but the service was exceptional. It was comforting bringing moose back home. They do really nice work. The paw print was a nice additional keepsake.The box was intricate and pretty. They do a double heat seal (or something like that) so if you want your pet's ashes for any kind of Ash type jewelry I would ask them to save some out for you so they can seal the ashes back up. I'm glad I had asked before we left because it's pretty far from where we live. They also do pet funerals there and a pet bereavement support group. The paved lot is easily seen from the road. It's across from KFC. We rang the bell to get in. If they are working on clay paw prints in the back they lock the door.

The Lap of Love organization, through which we arranged in-home euthanasia for our cat, partners with Green Pet Funeral Home and Crematory and we were very satisfied with their private cremation services. They delivered our cat's ashes to our local vet clinic promptly and a compassionate employee called us to let us know. Her ashes are contained in a lovely box with her name imprinted on the front. In a difficult time for us, Green Pet Crematory handled everything as expected and with dignity for our beloved pet.

Green Pet opened several decades ago and offers services such as cremations, burials, memorial services, and support groups.About one week after my dog died, Green Pet cremated her. The staff expressed condolences, and they handed over the ashes in a beautiful wooden box. They also gave me a clay print of my dog’s paw and a small envelope of some of her fur. The total cost was a few hundred dollars.

After having a bad experience at the pet hospital, I was kind of worried to pick up my cat's ashes from here. My trip here could not have gone better. The woman that helped me was so incredibly nice, and asked me all about my sweet boy. Plus, I was so touched by the cremation package we received. It was our cat's ashes in a beautiful wooden box with his name on it, an imprint of one of his paws, and even a little package of his fur. I know someone posted on here being upset about the paw print and the fur, which I can understand, but I found it incredibly touching. I cannot express my appreciation enough for this place.

Unfortunately, I have had to use their services twice. The first time, my pet was taken there from the emergency vet and the second time I had to take one myself. They were about to close, but told me to take my time and they would wait for me to arrive. The nicest people, and the presentation of my animals remains were more than I could’ve expected.

I’ve used Green pet services a few times through my vet. I’ve always been happy with the results. This most recent time our baby Maui passed at a pet hospital awaiting surgery. Green pet services went to pick him up even though they weren’t one of the regular stops. When he was ready to be picked up and brought home we were comforted, from the moment someone ran to the door to meet us, to the hugs we received as we left. This is something you never want to have to think about, but when the time comes I assure you, your fur babies are treated with love and respect. I can’t say enough good things ❤️

There is no other establishment I would trust for the difficult, and sacred process of my pets afterlife care. The people at Green went far beyond the effort and care of other places I looked into during that time. Communication was so easy and they took care of so many details like picking up my boy at the vet without an additional charge. They just deal with your loss in such a humane and genuine manner. And they are also very professional. Thank you Green for being so accommodating. I know Pooger and I are so fortunate to have found you guys. Unfortunately I did not have the option of choosing what place to send my cat to- this was the only option I was given when making the heart breaking and sudden decision to euthanize her, but I deeply wish it wasn’t. My boyfriend went and picked up her remains and he said, much like other reviews here, they were not compassionate but rather cold. Then, when I saw her paw print I was horrified. I have seen memorial paw prints of cats before, and they have never looked like this. Not only do I have to deal with the loss of my best friend, I now have to be deeply upset over the fact it looks like they grabbed a roadkill raccoon off the side of the road and made an imprint of it. And it’s not like this is something that can be redone either! When I called in to just inquire about the print and to ensure it was actually feline, I was met coldly. The woman told me she was the one that did it and that’s how they turn out. I mean, how hard did they press to make it look this way?! She did say she was sorry I was disappointed, but she didn’t sound very sorry. I have hidden it away, it’s too upsetting to be displayed with her ashes. Everyone I have shown it to has said how horrible it looks.

My wife and I contacted Green Pet Services after our golden retriever passed. It was a difficult time, and Todd and Scott went out of their way to take the burden off of us. They handled everything from picking our dog up to providing us with memorable keepsakes and a lovely urn. Communication was excellent throughout. Recently we had our Guinea pig pass. That little critter meant alot to us and after contacting a few vets we were recommended here. We dropped her off and as we talked to one of the gentlemen working there we knew and felt our pet was in good hands. When we went and picked her up today our feelings were proven true. So many places would have just used the smallest most bland and boring box to store our pets ashes but not this place. They treated her with dignity and put her in a nice box with her name engraved onto it. Thank you to all of those who work here for helping us with this tough time and providing us with such a great way to remember our lost family member.

This is a horrible company.I received a phone call and was told my pet was able to be picked up. I leave work early fly through rush hour traffic get there in 32min. I'm then left standing there like there's no record of my pet, 5min later I'm sorry she was taken to your vet. Wait what 32min you took her 40 min back to we're I initially chose. I was left standing there with just some girl making stupid facial expressions and I'm sorry. I asked if they would discount a memorial necklace and once again was told no I'm sorry. At this point if they would of ate the taxes of the price I wouldn't of felt so angry. Just completely disrespectful and deserves to be blasted to be heard.Do not waste your money there's better places out there.

I cannot say enough positive things about Green Pet Funeral Home. Our beloved family dog passed away last week on Wednesday, and today, she came home.I had wanted a copy of her ink paw print to get a tattoo, and my Mum had given me their phone number to see if it was too late. I spoke to Barb, who let me know of their pickup schedule, checked to see if Saidey was there, and after letting me know that she wasn't there yet, that she would make a note of it. Before hanging up, she offered her condolences, and that really touched my heart. A kind word means so much when your heart is aching.Saidey's beautiful urn, ceramic paw print, ink paw print, and a locket of her fur arrived home today, and everything was so nicely done. You can absolutely tell that she was treated with dignity while in the funeral home's care.I couldn't help but notice the website, and was brought to tears. Beautiful obituaries, and a list of services available for your pet. They are part of our family, and to have services available to honor their life is awesome.Losing a pet is so incredibly hard, but if you work with Green Pet, you can rest assured that your beloved companion will be treated with compassion, and knowing that they are treated well is very comforting.When the day comes that my sweet bunnies pass on, I will absolutely be contacting Green Pet Funeral Home, because I know that they will receive the same wonderful care that Saidey did ❤

Thank you so much for helping us say goodbye to our Kitty. We had to put our cat to sleep at PVSEC, and he was sent here. They gave us so much more than what I expected, and what we have received from other pet cremation services in the past. They gave us a beautiful wooden box with his name engraved to hold his ashes, a paw imprint, and a fur clipping. This means so much. Very kind and compassionate people too. ❤️

We recently had to put down our Havanese and best friend, Luna, after she could no longer fight off the cancer that she was diagnosed with a couple months prior. PVSEC recommended using Green Pet Funeral Home for a private cremation and we could not have been happier with their service. I spoke to Todd Green on the phone who was able to explain everything that they offer and even gave me a quick tour of their facility that same day. He was very polite, informative and compassionate towards our situation which made us feel completely comfortable using them. They are flexible with scheduling the service and I felt that their fee was generous. We requested a brief memorial service prior to the cremation which was especially nice and allowed us to say goodbye to Luna one more time. The staff was all extremely friendly and sincere. We could tell that they really cared about their jobs and have a love for pets. I do not have anything negative to say about this place and would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a private cremation service for their pet.

Our Mastiff “Goober” died last week and we took him to Greens for cremation. We were treated so well. They called Monday to tell us his cremains were back. I was so happy with the service we received again. We received a carved wooden box with his cremains, a small envelope of his hair, a plaster cast of his paw print and a copy of The Rainbow Bridge. I was not sure what to expect, since I had never had to do this before. It was very nice, there is an area to hold a service, a conference is table and an area for refreshments and snacks.They went over all of the items with me to make sure the items were correct and I was happy with them. The boxes with engraving are beautiful! The plaster paw prints are sweet and the special request I had for ink prints are adorable and came out great! As well!This was the best experience I could have asked for given the reason I was there.

Underwhelming, had to call them to ask if they had our dog, (they weren’t sure) asked when will they cremation her, I like to know 2 different times, because I wanted to know. Would not give me an answer, kept saying it’s not on the schedule, don’t know the schedule, called back a day later and they told me it was done yesterday. I would have like to know what was happening to MY dog. We are very heart broken by her death and this doesn’t help. No customer service, just business as usual for these people. Felt the condolences offered were not sincere as well. One of my friends also had a negative experience, when she picked up her furbaby they said “ see you again” what?? Nooo. C’mon people you are in a service industry dealing with death - get it together

After my fur nephew passed at Munhall Vet, we contacted Mike and Todd. Landon was picked up that morning and taken into the best care. Todd went above and beyond to make sure all my sister’s needs were met and exceeded. She received so many precious gifts. It was a great experience during such an emotional time. My husband and I had to make the difficult decision to put our Buddy, a jack russel, pug and beagle mix to sleep. He had a cancerous tumor and was bleeding into his belly. We did not want him to suffer, and our decision was heartbreaking. I wanted to have my Bud privately cremated. Green Pet Funeral Home and Crematory went above and beyond in picking out and engraving a beautiful wooden urn with his name,birth, death and rescue dates. Our package also included keepsakes like his paw print, lock of fur and a Rainbow Bridge card. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and the beautiful presentation of this cremation package. We appreciate you giving our Buddy such a memorable sendoff into heaven. My daughter's dog was brought there for cremation and the staff were so wonderful, kind and helpful. The cost may be high for low income people but I found the costs reasonable and cheaper than other places that did not provide the same compassionate service. These people admit they treat their own pets as family and show understanding and provide some comfort to those who mourn the loss of their loved pets.

Green pet funeral home went above and beyond for our cat that passed suddenly on Christmas ever. Her ashes came in a beautiful earn along with a impression of her pawprint and a pouch of fur, that i was not expecting. They also included a card with the rainbow bridge prayer on it which was very sweet. I would recommend them to anyone looking for these services for a pet.

Our little Petey passed on at PVSEC at 19 years young and we were obviously devastated. Well after he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we were trying to get in touch with our friend whom knew Pete and did cremations. We were unable to get ahold of her, so in a devastating panic, we had him taken to Greens. After a couple of days, she did end up getting back to us (she had a family emergency) and really wanted to get petey. So I called Greens to let them know, and thankfully they hadn't proceeded yet with the cremation. She went and picked him up and did her thing. Well we then found out that she didn't get paw prints and we were so upset, but figured there was nothing we could do...it was too late. So I figured it would be a shot in the dark, but I called Greens to see if by some chance they had his paw prints. And THEY DID!! Oh the relief! So I drove out to pick up the paw prints and was willing to pay whatever it took. I truly felt so bad having him picked up by someone else. They had already given me my refund for the services. Well guess what!! They didn't even charge me for the paw prints, which they should have! They just wanted to make sure I was okay. I mean talk about empathy and sincere concern. Truly a top notch place. Sorry for the long post lol ❤

Unfortunately I did not have the option of choosing what place to send my cat to- this was the only option I was given when making the heart breaking and sudden decision to euthanize her, but I deeply wish it wasn’t. My boyfriend went and picked up her remains and he said, much like other reviews here, they were not compassionate but rather cold. Then, when I saw her paw print I was horrified. I have seen memorial paw prints of cats before, and they have never looked like this. Not only do I have to deal with the loss of my best friend, I now have to be deeply upset over the fact it looks like they grabbed a roadkill raccoon off the side of the road and made an imprint of it. And it’s not like this is something that can be redone either! When I called in to just inquire about the print and to ensure it was actually feline, I was met coldly. The woman told me she was the one that did it and that’s how they turn out. I mean, how hard did they press to make it look this way?! She did say she was sorry I was disappointed, but she didn’t sound very sorry. I have hidden it away, it’s too upsetting to be displayed with her ashes. Everyone I have shown it to has said how horrible it looks.

My wife and I contacted Green Pet Services after our golden retriever passed. It was a difficult time, and Todd and Scott went out of their way to take the burden off of us. They handled everything from picking our dog up to providing us with memorable keepsakes and a lovely urn. Communication was excellent throughout. Recently we had our Guinea pig pass. That little critter meant alot to us and after contacting a few vets we were recommended here. We dropped her off and as we talked to one of the gentlemen working there we knew and felt our pet was in good hands. When we went and picked her up today our feelings were proven true. So many places would have just used the smallest most bland and boring box to store our pets ashes but not this place. They treated her with dignity and put her in a nice box with her name engraved onto it. Thank you to all of those who work here for helping us with this tough time and providing us with such a great way to remember our lost family member.

This is a horrible company.I received a phone call and was told my pet was able to be picked up. I leave work early fly through rush hour traffic get there in 32min. I'm then left standing there like there's no record of my pet, 5min later I'm sorry she was taken to your vet. Wait what 32min you took her 40 min back to we're I initially chose. I was left standing there with just some girl making stupid facial expressions and I'm sorry. I asked if they would discount a memorial necklace and once again was told no I'm sorry. At this point if they would of ate the taxes of the price I wouldn't of felt so angry. Just completely disrespectful and deserves to be blasted to be heard.Do not waste your money there's better places out there.

I cannot say enough positive things about Green Pet Funeral Home. Our beloved family dog passed away last week on Wednesday, and today, she came home.I had wanted a copy of her ink paw print to get a tattoo, and my Mum had given me their phone number to see if it was too late. I spoke to Barb, who let me know of their pickup schedule, checked to see if Saidey was there, and after letting me know that she wasn't there yet, that she would make a note of it. Before hanging up, she offered her condolences, and that really touched my heart. A kind word means so much when your heart is aching.Saidey's beautiful urn, ceramic paw print, ink paw print, and a locket of her fur arrived home today, and everything was so nicely done. You can absolutely tell that she was treated with dignity while in the funeral home's care.I couldn't help but notice the website, and was brought to tears. Beautiful obituaries, and a list of services available for your pet. They are part of our family, and to have services available to honor their life is awesome.Losing a pet is so incredibly hard, but if you work with Green Pet, you can rest assured that your beloved companion will be treated with compassion, and knowing that they are treated well is very comforting.When the day comes that my sweet bunnies pass on, I will absolutely be contacting Green Pet Funeral Home, because I know that they will receive the same wonderful care that Saidey did ❤

They gave us so much more than what I expected, and what we have received from other pet cremation services in the past. We recently had to put down our Havanese and best friend, Luna, after she could no longer fight off the cancer that she was diagnosed with a couple months prior. PVSEC recommended using Green Pet Funeral Home for a private cremation and we could not have been happier with their service. I spoke to Todd Green on the phone who was able to explain everything that they offer and even gave me a quick tour of their facility that same day. He was very polite, informative and compassionate towards our situation which made us feel completely comfortable using them. They are flexible with scheduling the service and I felt that their fee was generous. We requested a brief memorial service prior to the cremation which was especially nice and allowed us to say goodbye to Luna one more time. The staff was all extremely friendly and sincere. We could tell that they really cared about their jobs and have a love for pets. I do not have anything negative to say about this place and would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a private cremation service for their pet.

Our Mastiff “Goober” died last week and we took him to Greens for cremation. We were treated so well. They called Monday to tell us his cremains were back. I was so happy with the service we received again. We received a carved wooden box with his cremains, a small envelope of his hair, a plaster cast of his paw print and a copy of The Rainbow Bridge. I was not sure what to expect, since I had never had to do this before. It was very nice, there is an area to hold a service, a conference is table and an area for refreshments and snacks.They went over all of the items with me to make sure the items were correct and I was happy with them. The boxes with engraving are beautiful! The plaster paw prints are sweet and the special request I had for ink prints are adorable and came out great! As well!This was the best experience I could have asked for given the reason I was there.

After a devastating fire at our son and daughter-in-laws home in West Mifflin, we put a call into Green Pet Funeral Home and Crematory. Our family's two dogs, Otis and Bruce had succumbed to the smoke and flames. Todd and Scott Green the funeral directors, Barb and Dalton the funeral service professionals had by far the most caring attitude, personal touch, and comforting demeanor. They all went the extra mile, to make the whole situation feel special. The great services that they provided made a hard time fill us with peace of mind. Green Funeral Home in Munhall was there for me with a great gold jewelry thumbprint memorial after the passing of my family member and when I learned of Green Pet Services, they were my only call after the passing of our family dog, Tito. We decided to visit their facility after leaving the vet where they enstilled in us a sense of comfort and confidence that the memorials offered were appropriate for Tito. The memorial urn is well made and has Tito engraved on it. We also ordered a clay paw print which turned out really nice. The staff here was so compassionate and professional. We lost our beloved dog, Duke Ambrosy Clouse, this week. Our Duke fought a long and brave battle and had a wonderful 13th year of life, love, and cuddles. We were able to view him and were not rushed. Had to put my cat to sleep and had hin cremated here. Expected some degree of compassion. Girlfriend picked him up while I was at work, and was mourning him looking at the packages sitting in her car.Sat in the parking lot for less than 5 minutes before being told by staff she had to leave. Zero compassion. No covid risks or other concerns, mourning quietly in your own vehicle.Won't be suggesting this location to others in my situation in the future.

Underwhelming, had to call them to ask if they had our dog, (they weren’t sure) asked when will they cremation her, I like to know 2 different times, because I wanted to know. Would not give me an answer, kept saying it’s not on the schedule, don’t know the schedule, called back a day later and they told me it was done yesterday. I would have like to know what was happening to MY dog. We are very heart broken by her death and this doesn’t help. No customer service, just business as usual for these people. Felt the condolences offered were not sincere as well. One of my friends also had a negative experience, when she picked up her furbaby they said “ see you again” what?? Nooo. C’mon people you are in a service industry dealing with death - get it together

My husband and I had to make the difficult decision to put our Buddy, a jack russel, pug and beagle mix to sleep. He had a cancerous tumor and was bleeding into his belly. We did not want him to suffer, and our decision was heartbreaking. I wanted to have my Bud privately cremated. My daughter's dog was brought there for cremation and the staff were so wonderful, kind and helpful. The cost may be high for low income people but I found the costs reasonable and cheaper than other places that did not provide the same compassionate service. These people admit they treat their own pets as family and show understanding and provide some comfort to those who mourn the loss of their loved pets.

Her ashes came in a beautiful earn along with a impression of her pawprint and a pouch of fur, that i was not expecting. They also included a card with the rainbow bridge prayer on it which was very sweet. I would recommend them to anyone looking for these services for a pet.

Our little Petey passed on at PVSEC at 19 years young and we were obviously devastated. Well after he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we were trying to get in touch with our friend whom knew Pete and did cremations. We were unable to get ahold of her, so in a devastating panic, we had him taken to Greens. After a couple of days, she did end up getting back to us (she had a family emergency) and really wanted to get petey. So I called Greens to let them know, and thankfully they hadn't proceeded yet with the cremation. She went and picked him up and did her thing. Well we then found out that she didn't get paw prints and we were so upset, but figured there was nothing we could do...it was too late. So I figured it would be a shot in the dark, but I called Greens to see if by some chance they had his paw prints. And THEY DID!! Oh the relief! So I drove out to pick up the paw prints and was willing to pay whatever it took. I truly felt so bad having him picked up by someone else. They had already given me my refund for the services. Well guess what!! They didn't even charge me for the paw prints, which they should have! They just wanted to make sure I was okay. I mean talk about empathy and sincere concern. Truly a top notch place. Sorry for the long post lol ❤
