Custer-Glenn Funeral Home has raised the bar for what our expectations will be in the future when choosing a funeral home. We are not near the area, but our loved-one that passed away lived in Wooster her entire life. We chose Custer-Glenn because of a recommendation from a friend. Sam and Kim went out of their way to accommodate our family and our changing needs. Service and the decor was wonderful. We even had the option to add a therapy dog to our services, that was received quite well. Thank you Custer-Glenn for stepping-up and helping our family in our time for need. Custer-Glenn is everything and more in a time when you've lost a loved one. The experience that I had when I lost my Husband Ken was truly a blessing. His death was unexpected and his final resting expenses were not planned out at the time either. Our family had to do a fund me for donations and we sold things too. But, Custer-Glenn is dedicated to helping you have a good and memorable experience, not only on the spot planning and expense plans with payment options. But, also with plans to have a secure plan in place for you and loved one's final resting future. Everything Custer-Glenn did was truly respectful, heartfelt and caring for us and our loss.

Glenn was absolutely amazing. There was major confusion on the military part which in return our Dad's funeral was delayed for 4 weeks. Yes 4 weeks! Glenn kept us up to date and even offered other alternatives if we wished. The private service was amazing as Dad had that smirking grin on his face to let us know everything is going to be ok. I had a tragedy happen to me on January 23 2022. My wife of over 36yrs became ill and suddenly passed away. I didn't know what to do, I truly was a lost soul. I went to Custer-Glenn because that is where my wife had taken all of our deceased pets. That's when I was introduced to Sam Glenn. He was not only very professional but also consoling. I didn't have anything pre-planned (at 60 you don't think something like this can happen to you), but he basically took me by the hand and led me through this most difficult process. Our family was in a very tight window for a "green funeral" and fortunately we found Custer-Glenn. They had experience with this and had worked with Foxfield in Wilmot, OH with previous burials. They were up to the task. Some funeral homes say they have experience with this type of service but as you talk with them you can tell they don't. Custer-Glenn does.

Custer-Glenn just help us bury my father and I couldn't be happier with them. From the moment they came for my father till the time we put him to rest they were helpful, kind and the most caring. We never felt pressured about anything, he gave us all the time in the world. Whenever we were stuck he guided us and made all our decisions easy. I had a tragedy happen to me on January 23 2022. My wife of over 36yrs became ill and suddenly passed away. I didn't know what to do, I truly was a lost soul. I went to Custer-Glenn because that is where my wife had taken all of our deceased pets. That's when I was introduced to Sam Glenn. He was not only very professional but also consoling. I didn't have anything pre-planned (at 60 you don't think something like this can happen to you), but he basically took me by the hand and led me through this most difficult process. Sam and his staff are the BEST! They are professional and at the same time very caring and compassionate. They are there to help you with anything you need or want. Our family was in a very tight window for a "green funeral" and fortunately we found Custer-Glenn. They had experience with this and had worked with Foxfield in Wilmot, OH with previous burials. They were up to the task. Some funeral homes say they have experience with this type of service but as you talk with them you can tell they don't. Custer-Glenn does.

Sam, Jordan, and the entire staff were extremely professional in the planning of my father-in-law's calling and funeral in January. The physical building (no entry steps) and comfortable interior made this choice a wonderfully easy gathering place for family and friends. They ordered the casket spray for us which was beautiful. With photos provided by the family, they made a lovely video filled with great memories and gave us copies. Highly recommend.

My mother died on 3/23/2023 and received the upmost professional care from Sam and Kim and the transfer from Indiana funeral home. She was laid to rest peacefully and with dignity. The staff was amazing. My mother looked so beautiful. They answered all questions, had everything done that was asked. The staff showed compassion and understanding at the time that it was definitely needed. They even texted after my mother's service to see how my family and I were doing.

My Father died December 17th 2019 so close to ChristmasCuster Glenn Funeral Home came to the Hospital and picked up my Dads body we were in such a sad state me and my sisters.
