My wife and I had an excellent experience from beginning to end as we dealt with the life ending illness of my sister this year. Rick Hoskinson went out of his way to accommodate our needs as my sister was confined to The James at OSU until her passing. He made trips to the hospital so that my sister could have a say in her final arrangements. All the plans for the funeral, memorial marker, cremation and many other items were completed very quickly. Also, our interaction with the staff at the funeral home before, during and after the funeral were simply wonderful. They answered every question and did everything requested from the family. We highly recommend the services of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Services.

I definitely recommend. They are very caring and kind. Reasonable pricing. Coming from somebody who was on a tight budget who unfortunately had very short notice that I was going to need to find a place for cremation. After many phone calls to other places, I'm so thankful I came across Hoskinson Funeral Home. I was very pleased with their service and just how wonderful they were to me during my hard time.

The staff was very courteous and sincere when we spoke. I've also gotten a couple follow up texts to see how I was doing. All the decisions we made were outstanding. Didn't feel like anything was being pushed on us. They were very considerate. Can't express how much they were appreciated.

If I could give more stars I would. I will truly appreciate and be forever grateful to Hoskinson Funeral Home. Greta, Marcia, and Elizabeth made such an incredible great sadness seem more comforting than I could ask for. They treated us like family and took care of all our needs down to perfecting the finishing touches for my son's memorial service. In our time of need, while grieving, Hoskinson made every step of the process seem more bearable by handling the details so that we could take care of ourselves as well. I simply will not forget all they did for my beloved son and my family, and I'm grateful to have found them. They care about you and your journey. They even called to check in with us several times after the service to let us know they care and they are there if we need them. When you lose a loved one everything stops. I learned this when my husband died in December. The one thing that doesn't stop is the disbelief swirling in your head along with the denial in your heart telling you this cannot be happening to me. But, it has happened to you. Hoskinson's understands.They are there for you from beginning to end of the loss of your loved one. They somehow make this heart-wrenching time in your life bearable. Their understanding and experience is amazing! You can't go wrong with people who feel your pain and understand your loss.

Our Mother, Lois Swaney passed in Florida September 2020. The staff at the funeral was very helpful with transfer details of her to Thornville. The funeral and service was very nice. I would recommend them highly. They even contacted us about a week after the funeral to see how we were doing.
