My father passed away in Florida and was originally from Saint Paris, Ohio, where his resting place is. I contacted Colin shortly after my dad‘s passing, he walked me through everything that I needed and made sure that when we had his service in Ohio, it would be as expected. Colin and Mark both deserve the highest praise I could give them. I would recommend Vernon Funeral Home for anyone that has A need and wants A very compassionate and loving team to work with.

My experience with Atkins-Shively has been exceptional. They were thoughtful, empathic, and extremely helpful in navigating my loved ones funeral and burial. Was here as a guest of family, we were traveling from out of town, and had our dog with us. They were very accommodating of our pup, and allowed us to store her in a garage so she could stay cool in the heat, and we didn't have to leave her in the car with it running. Great, friendly service.
