I had a death in my family while we were out of state. I can't speak highly enough of how Littleton and Rue took care of everything for our family. This time was difficult enough without having to worry about how we would handle all the arrangements of bringing our family member home. They took care of everything and I couldn't be more pleased with how every detail from that time until after the final services at home were managed. They are a professional and caring group of people. This is not the first time our family has needed their services and we were equally pleased. I would highly recommend Littleton and Rue.

During an extremely difficult and emotional time, the staff from Littleton & Rue Funeral Home were there to assist my family with creating and carrying out a beautiful memorial for our deceased loved one. They were supportive, caring, understanding and willing to listen to our requests and concerns. They took care of all the arrangements for the service. All she had to do was tell them how she wanted it done. Stacy (funeral director) was careful and detailed when helping me plan my dads services and the service itself was the perfect send off for my dad. The staff were very kind, professional, and were very easy to contact if I had any questions or concerns. They treated my dad just like they would their own family, and it truly showed with the services that they provided. After the funeral, the staff members were helpful with proving information on a beautiful and engraved urn and necklace for me to keep for the rest of my own life. I made 6 phone calls the night that my dad passed to funeral homes and Littleton and Rue had the best customer service and also offered the best service options over the phone. The facility is clean, organized, and did not disappoint me at all. I’ve used Littleton and Rowe funeral home for my families funerals today. I discovered that my parents gravestone had been vandalized and knocked over. I was told it was gonna be a couple of thousand dollars to fix it and not turn it into my homeowners insurance. I called Rob Kampman. He said I’ll take care of it. From the time we were in need upon our Mother’s death, Littleton and Rue was there for us with immediate assistance for all necessary services. I received a call from Rob Kampman within an hour of when she died and it was later in the evening but I felt reassured that he would take care of our needs from that minute on. I was sent instructions on what information to gather and we were given an appointment the next day. That led to making all arrangements and an obituary was written from what information we supplied, visitation and services were set as well. I feel things could not have been easier at a tough time for our family. I would have no hesitation to recommend Littleton and Rue to anyone based on our experience.

Our family couldn’t have been more please with how we were treated like family by the staff. Stacy was awesome to work with, she was very compassionate and meet all of our needs clear up to the time of the service and even afterwards.We also used The Landing for our gathering after the funeral. Littleton and Rue is an exceptional funeral home to which our family has utilized multiple times through the years. After our mother passed recently, we, including mom, were treated with such respect and dignity and Rob worked with us ensuring our expenses were affordable. Littletons staff goes above and beyond the details ensuring that everything is taken care of. Their staff is a caring and accommodating and when I had a request and it was taken care of immediately. Rob Rue has instilled values and integrity with his staff that I am positive was passed down from his father, Tom and the same comfort and service offered many years ago still stands true today. We are grateful for the services provided to our family because at a time of loss, and planning multiple things, Littleton’s took a lot of the burden off our family. The space and services provided by Littleton & Rue were fine. No problems there. We've had more than one family funeral there, and they always do a good job of making the family and friends of the deceased feel as comfortable as possible. The only reason they don't get five stars is because of the "Tribute Store" to which they subscribe through Frazier Consultants. If I were rating their Tribute Store, I would give it zero stars. These people are a total sham. They advertise beautiful flower arrangements and then depend on cheap local florists to create the arrangement and deliver it. Honestly...take a look at the pictures...they speak for themselves. You can imagine just how embarrassed we were to have such a meager arrangement show up when we had paid a premium to have a much nicer floral remembrance. The Tribute Store is purely a rip-off. Google florists in the Springfield area and deal with your favorite one directly. DO NOT use the Tribute Store or you'll face deep disappointment at a time that you're already stressed because of the need for a funeral.

Littleton and Rue helped me navigate my dad‘s passing with such grace, kindness, compassion and empathy. Rob and Katherine guided me through the entire process, which made things extremely easy during a difficult time. They covered every detail and even followed up afterwards to check to see how I was doing. They also surprised me with a wonderful gift as I received a certificate of a tree planted in my dad‘s name. They really went above and beyond for us. Losing a loved one is difficult at any time, and navigating the aftermath can be even harder. But working with Rob and Katherine provided such a wonderful level of comfort and peace for which I will always be forever grateful.

We had gone in last Friday the 19th to drop off our beloved cat, who had tragically passed away. The staff here were incredibly compassionate, and made us feel as though our baby was in the right hands. They were efficient and his cremation, and sympathetic the entire time. This cat was my baby, and I had had him since he was a kitten, so having to make the decision to cremate him and keep him with me always just felt right. I cannot emphasize how amazing the staff here are, and how compassionate and caring they were with me the entire time. We were able to pick him up the following Monday, and now he’s back where he belongs. They even mailed a sympathy card. I know we made the right decision going here, and trusting them with such a delicate matter.

Most of us use the services of a funeral home only once or twice in a lifetime. And in the midst of grief, we can only hope that we, and our loved one, are treated with kindness and respect. I can truthfully say that our experience with Littleton and Rue was all of that and more.My husband had been ill for an extended period of time, and we decided that it was time to prepare for the inevitable and make our funeral choices in advance. Accomplishing that with the help of Mr. Isaacs was easier than I ever thought. I was treated with the utmost kindness, and all my thoughts and choices were understood and honored. We felt good that we were prepared .Sadly, before I ever thought, all the preparation became necessary, as my husband suddenly passed. Rob Kampman met with us and we finalized all the plans for the cremation and funeral service. What a lovely man. His kindness and concern was so calming, so professional and adept.On the day of the service our family was touched by the whole staff, as they cared for us in many ways, always with a kind word, a smile...even in the smallest detail, such as the placement of some daisies. Exemplary service.But, one more touch of kindness. I received a call a week or so after the funeral from the staff of Littleton and Rue, checking up on me, asking if I was ok. How lovely for them to think of that. I was touched.Just another bit of proof of the professionalism and care we received at Littleton and Rue.

From the time we were in need upon our Mother’s death, Littleton and Rue was there for us with immediate assistance for all necessary services. I received a call from Rob Kampman within an hour of when she died and it was later in the evening but I felt reassured that he would take care of our needs from that minute on. I was sent instructions on what information to gather and we were given an appointment the next day. That led to making all arrangements and an obituary was written from what information we supplied, visitation and services were set as well. I feel things could not have been easier at a tough time for our family. I would have no hesitation to recommend Littleton and Rue to anyone based on our experience.

My husband, our daughter, and myself experienced the loss no parent, or young sibling should. We lost our sweet baby boy Leo at just 19 months old. This is something we are never prepared for but with the help of the staff at Littleton & Rue our Leo’s memorial service was just as beautiful as him. As we walked in right away I noticed that they cared because they listened. Our boy loved Bluey and Littleton & Rue brought made sure who he was surrounded all of us that day. You would think once the memorial service was over, that was the last time you hear from your funeral home of choice. Not true. The space and services provided by Littleton & Rue were fine. No problems there. We've had more than one family funeral there, and they always do a good job of making the family and friends of the deceased feel as comfortable as possible. The only reason they don't get five stars is because of the "Tribute Store" to which they subscribe through Frazier Consultants. If I were rating their Tribute Store, I would give it zero stars. These people are a total sham. They advertise beautiful flower arrangements and then depend on cheap local florists to create the arrangement and deliver it. Honestly...take a look at the pictures...they speak for themselves. You can imagine just how embarrassed we were to have such a meager arrangement show up when we had paid a premium to have a much nicer floral remembrance. The Tribute Store is purely a rip-off. Google florists in the Springfield area and deal with your favorite one directly. DO NOT use the Tribute Store or you'll face deep disappointment at a time that you're already stressed because of the need for a funeral.

Rob and Katherine guided me through the entire process, which made things extremely easy during a difficult time. We had gone in last Friday the 19th to drop off our beloved cat, who had tragically passed away. The staff here were incredibly compassionate, and made us feel as though our baby was in the right hands. They were efficient and his cremation, and sympathetic the entire time. This cat was my baby, and I had had him since he was a kitten, so having to make the decision to cremate him and keep him with me always just felt right. I cannot emphasize how amazing the staff here are, and how compassionate and caring they were with me the entire time. We were able to pick him up the following Monday, and now he’s back where he belongs. They even mailed a sympathy card. I know we made the right decision going here, and trusting them with such a delicate matter.

Most of us use the services of a funeral home only once or twice in a lifetime. And in the midst of grief, we can only hope that we, and our loved one, are treated with kindness and respect. I can truthfully say that our experience with Littleton and Rue was all of that and more.My husband had been ill for an extended period of time, and we decided that it was time to prepare for the inevitable and make our funeral choices in advance. Accomplishing that with the help of Mr. Isaacs was easier than I ever thought. I was treated with the utmost kindness, and all my thoughts and choices were understood and honored. We felt good that we were prepared .Sadly, before I ever thought, all the preparation became necessary, as my husband suddenly passed. Rob Kampman met with us and we finalized all the plans for the cremation and funeral service. What a lovely man. His kindness and concern was so calming, so professional and adept.On the day of the service our family was touched by the whole staff, as they cared for us in many ways, always with a kind word, a smile...even in the smallest detail, such as the placement of some daisies. Exemplary service.But, one more touch of kindness. I received a call a week or so after the funeral from the staff of Littleton and Rue, checking up on me, asking if I was ok. How lovely for them to think of that. I was touched.Just another bit of proof of the professionalism and care we received at Littleton and Rue.

I could always remember how comforting and wonderful the staff and services were even as a child and teenager.Recently, my father passed and I cannot begin to tell you how far above and beyond their services were to me and my family. When I was told that I had to call and get prices for the services of a funeral home before my mom passed, there was no question of who I was to get a hold of. Littleton and Rue has been servicing my family since the 1990’s. Both my grandparents and now my mother. Rob was easy to talk to and Stacey made the final arrangements easy to deal with. My parents entrusted Littleton and Rue Funeral Home and Creamatory by prearrangment for their funerals. Back in November of 2020 when my father passed, the folks at Littleton and Rue were very accommodating, supportive and friendly, and made the entire experience as comforting as possible. Unfortunately, in April of 2023, last month, my mother passed. Again, Rob and Katherine made the experience as comforting as possible. They were very caring and professional and made sure everything was to our expectations. In both cases, from moment they were contacted until the funeral was complete, Rob and Kathrine were there taking care of everyone's needs and being very supportive. They did a wonderful job on the presentation of both of our loved ones. During the first meeting, Rob walks you through the arrangements in a step-by-step process, explaining everything and answering any questions that may arise. When my partner died at home recently I had arranged Littletons to come and pickup her body.All I can say is what a “Class act” from start to finish!!Rob came in that morning and quietly explained what would happen. Littleton & Rue did an excellent job with my grandfather’s funeral arrangements. It’s a tough time when your loved one dies, and the staff was warm and accepting. When Littleton& Rue was called, they came promptly. Through the funeral arrangements, they had a quick and easy approach for planning the services. We had videos and pictures to display, and it looked so polished even though it was no fuss. The personal touches were also very thoughtful. From the music that reminded us of my grandfather, and a special momento they gave to my grandmother, mother, aunt and uncles, the funeral was very personalized. From the pre-planning six years ago to my Dad's memorial yesterday, Littleton and Rue exceeded my expectations at every turn. Everyone was very sensitive to our grief and our needs and made every step of the way clear and easy. They were concerned about getting everything exactly the way my sisters and I wanted it, and they asked the right questions and patiently helped us figure out the details. We had our Dad's memorial in new building called The Landing, which is beautiful and full of natural sunlight. It feels like a cozy mountain lodge. We were wanting a celebration of life rather than a grieving of death, and having the gathering space of The Landing, made it feel like a less formal, more joyful space than a traditional funeral home setting.

My husband, our daughter, and myself experienced the loss no parent, or young sibling should. We lost our sweet baby boy Leo at just 19 months old. This is something we are never prepared for but with the help of the staff at Littleton & Rue our Leo’s memorial service was just as beautiful as him. When I was told that I had to call and get prices for the services of a funeral home before my mom passed, there was no question of who I was to get a hold of. My parents entrusted Littleton and Rue Funeral Home and Creamatory by prearrangment for their funerals. Back in November of 2020 when my father passed, the folks at Littleton and Rue were very accommodating, supportive and friendly, and made the entire experience as comforting as possible. Unfortunately, in April of 2023, last month, my mother passed. Again, Rob and Katherine made the experience as comforting as possible. They were very caring and professional and made sure everything was to our expectations. They did a wonderful job on the presentation of both of our loved ones. Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory was great in the beginning, but I've had nothing but a bad experience following. I had trouble locating the number for the cemetery where my dad has a plot, they never got back with me.. I finally located the number. My dad had or is having 2 trees planted in his honor.. I have yet to get feedback on where they will be planted or if they have been planted.. if anyone knows anything about this I'd greatly appreciate any feedback. And to top it off... I just realized they printed my dad's birthday wrong on the memorial cards handed out at his services. I'm greatly disappointed. My dad was born on November 12th... 12 is our favorite number.

It was a hard time and they took care of everything.They came into to our home dressed in suits and took my grandfather from our home. They understand grieving and show empathy. Even when something wasn’t offered directly through their services, Stacy was more than willing to help us find away to make everything my dad wanted happen! We met Rob first and he was great, very professional, and caring. Stacy was our funeral director and she set up a group text message with my mom, brother, and I to answers questions and keep in touch until my dads service and after. We recently had to say goodbye to our cat. Our local vet offered cremation through Littleton & Rue. The cremation was completed in a timely manner and everyone we dealt with at Littleton & Rue was professional and respectful. The ashes came in a nice box which included a nameplate that we can attach as well as a certificate confirming the cremation occurred. They also mailed us a sympathy card, which was not something I expected and was a very nice touch. This is obviously a challenging time and I'm appreciative of the courtesy shown by Littleton & Rue throughout the process.

Littleton and Rue do an excellent job of providing thoughtful care to the deceased, their family, and guests attending the services. Throughout the planning of the service through that day, the staff at Littleton and Rue were detail oriented and provided suggestions to really celebrate the life of our loved one (i.e. a personal play list instead of instrumental music). They were attentive throughout the service. After the service, the staff organized all of the flowers and gifts to be delivered to our residence. The process was seamless, including organization of benefits and obtaining death certificates. We really appreciate Littleton and Rue’s staff for their service and dedication.

Littleton & Rue Funeral Home and Crematory was great in the beginning, but I've had nothing but a bad experience following. I had trouble locating the number for the cemetery where my dad has a plot, they never got back with me.. I finally located the number. My dad had or is having 2 trees planted in his honor.. I have yet to get feedback on where they will be planted or if they have been planted.. if anyone knows anything about this I'd greatly appreciate any feedback. And to top it off... I just realized they printed my dad's birthday wrong on the memorial cards handed out at his services. I'm greatly disappointed. My dad was born on November 12th... 12 is our favorite number.

Before my grandma passed away, she had already rearranged everything through Littleton & Rue. When she passed away, Hospice called the funeral home and John was the first one to get to her apartment. Once she was in their possession, Mom had to go sign some paperwork and we had our final goodbye with her. My family is so grateful for everything that they did for us. Littleton and Rue did an amazing job caring for my Jacob. Robb Rue was very sympathetic when I called to set our appointment to make the arrangements. He also was able to make our appointment the next day. Stacy Newell assisted us at our appointment. She was sensitive to our needs, she even shed some tears with us. I did not feel like I was being persuaded into buying things I felt were not necessary. Stacy was available to us day or night. Once she texted me asking how we wanted Jake’s facial hair cut. It’s the little things that count. She was at both of the services. We were there kind of late on the evening of Jacob’s viewing and Stacy had to leave but she brought another gentleman to me, introduced us and explained if we needed anything at all just ask him. After the services, Katherine has contacted me several times to check on us. She has given us her condolences, offered support, prayers and given us wonderful words perseverance. My family has had multiple family member’s services at Littleton and Rue and I would not want it any other way. I am confident they treat my loved ones as if they were their own family members.

From past experiences of attending services there and knowing staff, we knew we would receive great care and professional services through this difficult time. We sadly had to have a funeral for my wonderful step father Bob Cartwright last week. We used Littleton and Rue Funeral Home for the service and we couldn’t have had a better experience.Thanks to Michael and Rob for their amazing help, care, and attention to detail throughout this process into the afterlife. They made this very easy for my mother and family. They listened carefully to our needs, and went at our pace. They were in constant contact when needed. We communicated a lot via text which helped as sometimes it’s hard to talk on the phone during these times. The funeral home was beautiful inside and the new addition they are building will be amazing from the plans that I saw.They also offer the entire service to be streamed live on their FB. This is wonderful for those who could not make it to the service.Afterwards they delivered all of the flower sympathy gifts to my moms house. Rob Kampman was our director taking care of all our needs when our mother passed. Rob went above and beyond to help us and to make sure everything was perfect. The service went great. Did a pre-paid arrangement with them to handle my father upon his death. This made it so much easier on the entire family when my father eventually passed away. Our dad’s service was so beautiful and moving. Everything was impeccably arranged, which Rob Rue finalized in spite of my vague plans. As my dad was a WWII Navy veteran, Rob set up a Navy Honor Guard for the service, which was just an amazing part of the ceremony. My dad would be so proud of how we honored him. The entire service was exactly what we wanted, & I cannot say enough about Rob Rue and Littleton’s handling of everything. We have used Littleton’s for years and will always use them in the future.

He was extremely considerate of our feelings and emotions, and offered a much needed sense of calmness & peace. Nobody ever wants to engage with a funeral home. What my family experienced with the lost of my father recently is hard for any family to go through. I would highly recommend Littleton & Rue, they are highly professionals that thought of all the little details that our family did not think of. We wanted a smaller casket for our adult son, as he was a dwarf, even though they didnt have what we wanted in stock, they went out of their way to find one. I had my husband Donnie Fifes service and cremation here. Everything was amazing. I had the funeral director John help with everything and he was very patient and kind during the whole process. It was extremely difficult to get things done in time due to just being extremely exhausted and grieving at the same time. My husbsnd and I have been married going on 14 years this coming April and being only 30 years old, I never thought in my life i would have had to experience losing my husband .The funeral home worked with me and helped me without being pushy. Also the time of service we took a little longer at the end to say our goodbyes and they also was patient with us and didn't rush us. katherine has aswell stayed in contact afterwards to check on me several times. My sister had very few friends or family in Springfield when died on Jan 28th of this year. We knew very few people would be there. Littleton’s staff showed her so much dignity the same as if 100 mourners would be there. The staff is professional. They addressed every issue and made this difficult time seamless. My wife lost her father a month ago. The day after he died my wife’s mom, my wife and our three daughters went to plan my father-in-laws funeral. From the very beginning Stacey Newell took the most amazing care of our family. A day nobody wanted to face was now before them. Stacey made sure every detail was perfect. Stacey helped our daughters put the video and the music that showed who Larry Wilson Allen was. He was the most AMAZING husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, and great grandpa to our family. Littleton’s helped our family share our amazing story about our loved one. Right down to the fact, that Larry truly thought Mickey Mouse ruled the world. Well when we arrived for the funeral and walked around our church everything was so very tastefully done. As we walked to the front of the church there stood Mickey Mouse next to where my father-in-laws box of ashes were! The fact that Stacey thought about our family not just on the job, but off the job, well there are no words to express how she truly touched the heart of our family! Thank you Littleton’s for everyone who helped us share our story of our loved one. Stacey my family will truly never forget you!

It’s always hard to lose a loved one but Littleton’s took excellent care of us during a very difficult time.
