Do not hesitate to call Faithful Companions! A week ago, our bulldog, who was our world, passed unexpectedly of heart failure while we were at Indian Lake. We were devastated and had no idea what to do. Faithful Companions came up in my search, so my friend called them for us. They traveled from Plain City to Indian Lake to pick him up and delivered his remains back to us the next day. Kyle was so professional and compassionate and so was the staff that we talked to over the phone. His remains were returned to us in a beautiful box and the paw print was very nicely done. I like that we are able to easily get into his remains to have jewelry made.Thank you Faithful Companions for assisting us through this very difficult time!!

I lost my cat bailey unexpectedly after only 7 years with her. At the vet, I was only told I’d get her ashes back in a box, but what I actually got surprised me. The level of kindness, communication and care that went into this touched my heart. She was my emotional support animal and losing her abruptly was difficult to say the least. You all were so quick and caring. The engraved box is so beautiful and the paw print was such a special surprise. I love that you all took the time to bring my best friend home personally. I cannot thank you enough, I know that my baby was handled with care.

I paid $372 to have a tiny, 7.5 lb. cat cremated through Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services in Columbus, OH. That is more than the combined cost to cremate all 6 of my previous cats who passed between 2011 and 2021 which were sent to a different Columbus-based pet cremation service by my usual vet. I didn't realize how much of my MedVet bill was for this latest cremation itself until it was too late. Had MedVet broken down the cost for me rather than simply asking if I wanted him cremated and whether I wanted his cremated remains returned to me, I would have opted to take his body home with me so I could have made arrangements to use the service I used previously which never cost me more than $50 for a small cat. And yes, I got basically the same service from the prior service - a paw print, a fur clipping, and the remains delivered to me at home. The only difference was that the cheaper service brought them home in tins and this one used a wood box which they stamped his name onto, but I alway buy a much nicer box for mine anyway with their names, photos, birth and death dates, and a quote on each. The cost of a cheaper cremation plus a really nice box bearing a photo and my preferred text as I have bought separately for my prior cats would have cost only a fraction of the $372 I paid to MedVet to have him cremated by Faithful Companion. It's like adding insult to injury for them to overcharge by so much at such an emotional time. I am very disappointed with MedVet for not explaining the cost I would incur for the cremation when asking what I wanted to do with his body. They only gave me the total cost of the bill, and I just assumed that most of it was for the care and euthanasia they provided. It never occurred to me that one local pet cremation service would charge nearly 7.5 times what another does. Buyer beware on this one. I know it's an emotional time, but please ask questions so you can avoid getting ripped off like this. Faithful Companion Pet Cremation services could give me absolutely no explanation as to why their services are so ridiculously high priced compared to other local pet cremation services. MedVet really needs to pair up with a more affordable service for the sake of their clients' best financial interests. It does make me wonder if someone is getting kick-backs. That might explain where some of that extra money I paid went. So disgusting to take advantage of someone during such an emotional moment by not simply offering them enough information to make a more informed decision when they're crying too much to be able to ask all of the right questions. They should absolutely be required to give you the full pricing information when presenting your options so you can do what is best for you and your budget, especially if, like me, you've spent about $10,000 in the last year alone just fighting to keep the poor cat alive since he was young enough to keep fighting for.

As hard as it is to write this review, I just wanted people to know that this is the best place for your pet if you need cremation services. We used them for our beloved Zoe through Lap of Love. I asked the vet all about them because I wanted to make sure our Zoe was in good hands and treated very gently and respectfully. Dr. Nellie assured me these are the best around and will treat our Zoe like their own. Later that night I called asking about upgrading her Urn after looking through the brochure the vet had left. They were so patient while I was crying talking through the options. I felt like they really cared. Her marble urn is just beautiful with her name engraved in silver. They let us keep her urn we upgraded from as well, a little red box with her name engraved. We use that for her collar and fur clippings. They called the next day to tell me they were bringing her back home. I instantly bawled my eyes out but it gave me great comfort to have her back so soon. They also gave brochures about grief, a card, and a poem. I sleep with her urn next to my bedside and miss her deeply.RIP to our beloved Zoe, until we meet again 💔

Our best boy, Champ (beautiful German Shepherd), died at home with us this week. We were heartbroken to say the very least. We reached out to Lap of Love who had helped with the euthanization of a previous pet, and they referred us to Faithful Companion, their cremation partner.When I called to have the company come pick up our boy, they explained that there was one urn and we could get upgraded options for a name on the urn and for a paw print. We opted for both. They said that they would arrive before 10am, and they arrived right around 10. The two workers, Chris and Cole, were very kind and sympathetic, and took care of Champ as they took him out of our home for the last time. The problems started the next day when we received the urn back.The urn did not have his name on it, as I requested in the initial phone call. I called to ask about this and was told that the name only comes on the upgraded urn. I mentioned that I'd never been told that I had any other options in terms of which urn to choose. I asked if we could just pay extra and get the upgraded urn, because it was really important to us to have the gold name plate with our boy's name on it. He said that that wasn't possible because the upgraded urn was a cat statue with the gold plate already on. I asked if they had any dog statues, they said no. I asked if they had any extra gold plates that they could attach to the urn. I was told that he would have to detach it from the cat statue, and that would be difficult, but that he would give me his supervisor's number to speak with him about it.The supervisor was friendly and more accommodating and willing to figure something out. He said that he would search for other gold plates in the morning, but that even so, the name would not be engraved because that isn't their process. We ended up calling another funeral home, and they said it would be absolutely no problem to engrave a name plate and attach it to the urn.I'm honestly not sure why it had to be such a complicated experience to attach a name plate. Especially when the very next funeral home said that they could do it with no problem for $5.This was a really disappointing experience in a time that was already difficult for us in the sudden passing of our dog. And unfortunately, we will not be using this company again, and cannot recommend it to anyone else.UPDATE - I added a star back to the review because of the customer service that I received after this incident. The location manager reached out to me today apologizing for what happened. Although name plates are not something that their company does, as a grieving dog parent, the company should've done more to make sure that our family was taken care of. He offered a sincere apology, a promise to talk with staff about handling situations like this in the future, and an offer for a memorial item to apologize and remedy the situation. It meant a lot that the company reached out, making me know that they have, and want to continue to maintain a great business.

I lost my first dog this past Saturday to cancer and afterwards I was a literal mess. He never liked being alone and, even though I knew he was gone, the uncertainty of when his remains would arrive home weighed heavy on my mind. I was in a fog after he was put down, so I didn’t listen to the lady explaining the process - I just payed my bill and was expecting to see him by the end of the week.To my surprise, the next day I got a phone call that Scout was not only ready to come home - but they were bringing him home. It made the hardest weekend of my life bearable. I can’t express the thanks and appreciation I have for you guys! Scout was my first dog and my first true best friend, and it means a lot to have him back. And to the delivery driver who handled him with such care, Thank you!!

I recently had to put my sidekick of nearly 15 years to sleep and used Faithful Companion with the help of Lap of Love. I was told through Lap of Love that it would likely take a couple days for Faithful Companion to reach out to me regarding when they would be able to return my pet's cremated remains back home to me. To my surprise, not only was the timeline shorter than that, my pet was able to return home to me in less than 24 hours after he passed. When Chris arrived, he was extremely kind and compassionate as he handed delivered a beautiful urn with my pet's name engraved in gold on the cherry red box. He was sure to offer any assistance regarding the loss of my pet and any other help I may have needed. Chris and Faithful Companion left an impression that I will not soon forget in dealing with the loss of my dog and highly recommend them for anyone looking for pet cremation services.

I had a tragic accident Thursday afternoon with my most loved puppers, Copper joe, I took him to medvet emergency and unfortunately the decision came to put him down, I was devastated and they recommended the cremation with this company and I decided to choose that option, in a matter of a few days they had the process finished, and called to deliver my dog back home on a Sunday , the box and paw print I received was amazing , thank you so much

We euthanized our elderly dog with cancer with Lap of Love. Cremation with Faithful Companion is part of their private cremation service. They dropped Velma off the same day and we received her ashes the next day. I had a very short interaction with the person who dropped off her ashes, but even in that short time could sense empathy and appreciated their kind words. The box with her name is lovely and we are so happy she "made it back home" so quickly.

We lost our old boy a couple of days ago and our vet contacted Faithful Companions to handle his remains. Words cannot accurately convey our thanks and gratitude to them. They arrived at our home a few minutes after our boy passed. They were beyond respectful and allowed us to spend as much time with him as we wanted before they took him. There was no rushing us at all. They treated him with respect and dignity while preparing to remove him. We got his remains delivered back to us the next day. There was a problem with his name being spelled wrong on his box and paw print. No only did they replace the affected items, they delivered them to us the same day. The worst part of owning pets is when we have to let them go but these guys helped ease the pain by getting our boy back to use in record speed. Faithful Companions is top notch and went above and beyond in my opinion. As the rest off our pack goes, we will be sure to use this company, without a doubt.

Yesterday was one of the hardest days as we had to say goodbye to our loving and faithful companion Dakota. There are truly not enough words that could ever tell the entire staff of Faithful Companion how grateful we are for all they did for us.From the first phone call to the last moment of our final goodbye they treated us with a kindness and compassion that I have never experienced before.We opted for a private viewing. From the first moment we arrived to the last Moth was truly amazing. He handled our Dakota with the utmost care and compassion.He explained every detail down to the final moments. His level of compassion was truly amazing. He handled Dakota as if he was his very own.I cannot say enough about Moth and the entire staff of Faithful Companion. You truly made one of the most difficult times easier to deal with. You are truly an amazing group of people.

Today I received my pet's ashes and found that both engravings were misspelled. As I opened the items and found these mistakes, my grief turned to anger. I verified on the order confirmation that the name they received was spelled correctly, but it seems the engraver wasn't paying attention that day. They said they can recreate his paw print using the existing item, but it just wouldn't be the same to me as using the actual paw print from his body. Maybe that doesn't matter to some people, but it matters to me. So my choices are to either get a rough copy of his paw print with the correct spelling, or to keep the correct paw print and see his name misspelled. Do not recommend.

Once I received a call from our daughter that she couldn’t find our dog, we then received a call from our neighbor that he was hit by a car. I called faithful companion and explained what had happened and explained that we lived off a state route and within those speed limits I was unsure the state his body was in. They offered to come out and pick up our Mickey so my kids (9 and 5) wouldn’t have to see him in that state. They came out within that hour and loaded him up with care. Not even 24 hours later we have him back home. Every person I personally spoke with or had face to face contact with was very caring, kind and was very professional. They truly care about the needs and wants of the loved ones as well as not trying to make an up sale.

Recently, our 13-year old Newfoundland passed in our home. In anticipation of her passing, we had searched on line for a facility to assist us with her after her passing. We were very fortunate to inquire into the services provided by Faithful Companion. The staff were responsive to our inquiry and our preferences. When the time came to pick up our girl, Chris and his team were outstanding. Their attention to detail, their demeanor, and their understanding of our loss were more than I expected. Our girl was returned to us this afternoon and again, Chris, provided service above and beyond our expectations. Just went to pick up my dogs ashes and broke down crying while trying to talk to the worker there. The worker was very kind and compassionate ,she even offered a hug. My dogs paw print clay print was very cute and the ash box was good too. Overall very good experience. Prices were fair too.

From the interactions I had with the workers at Faithful Companion I can say they were so polite and kind. We went throw lap of love and I have amazing things to say about the entire experience. Faithful companion was really nice to deal with when my cat passed away extremely suddenly on a Saturday evening. They were the only place open late on a Saturday that could help. They met me at the door, went over options, and allowed me time to sit with my cat, Rocky, to say goodbye before leaving. I was able to come pick up his ashes the next day and the staff kept a clipping of fur and footprint for me because I asked for it. I really appreciate having such a compassionate person and business to handle this tough time for my family.

We had a very positive experience with Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services. The vet who came to our home for our cat's end of life (Kona's Loving Paws) offered cremation through Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services. They came to our house while the vet was still there and took Louie. The next day, they delivered Louie's cremains and you could tell the utmost care and attention to detail had been taken in the presentation. Louie's cremains were in a nice wood box with his name engraved on top. They also provided a clay pawprint with his name and even a stand to hold the clay pawprint upright. There was a sympathy card and booklet on grief. They are less expensive than other places I have used and I highly recommend them.

My wife was in the military and I was a musician, so we never had the opportunity to donate the right amount of time to love a pet. We started loving parrots 12-years ago with a 6-week old African Grey named Cap'n Jack, followed by a Blue front Amazon named Admiral the next year, then Sarge a Green Cheek Conure...a small parrot with the biggest personality. We lost Sarge last Friday, this loving family member that was so much of our daily routine for the past decade. It was are 1st time we experienced such a DEVISTATING LOSS. The staff at Faithful Companion could not have helped us more in honoring Sarge and in simply getting through this horrible time.

My service dog had to be put down and the vet used faithful companion and their home service. Putting a pet, or service animal down is the absolute worst thing to go thru, so it’s wonderful to know that faithful companion had my back. They were professional, picked her up, had her created, and delivered her remains back to me in 2 days. I highly recommend them, their services and the experience with Kona’s! I was recommended Faithful Companion by a friend. I am glad I chose to work with them after the passing of my pet hedgehog. They offered me fur clippings to have in his memory in addition to his ashes, it means so much to me. I would highly recommend them, very kind and caring staff. they offer beautiful urns and do not return the ashes in a plastic bag- its a nice cloth pouch bag instead. the remains are beautifully put together and done with obvious care.

The most amazing and caring experience. Same day short notice service. Brittney was so comforting through the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure we knew our dog was taken care of. His name was engraved on top of his beautiful box. And he was brought to our home the very next day in the most caring way. They were the 1st place I looked into and after talking on the phone I knew we didnt have to look any further. I can not say anything bad about my experience. Our boy was treated as a loved one. We recently had to put our sweet boy Tortuga down. We had Dr. Jennifer at Lap of Love (highly highly recommend) come to the house and Faithful Companion brought his ashes to us in less than 24 hours. Faithful Companion was on our doorstep within 90 minutes and took extraordinary steps to make an almost unbearable situation bearable. I lost my first dog this past Saturday to cancer and afterwards I was a literal mess. He never liked being alone and, even though I knew he was gone, the uncertainty of when his remains would arrive home weighed heavy on my mind. I was in a fog after he was put down, so I didn’t listen to the lady explaining the process - I just payed my bill and was expecting to see him by the end of the week.To my surprise, the next day I got a phone call that Scout was not only ready to come home - but they were bringing him home. It made the hardest weekend of my life bearable. I can’t express the thanks and appreciation I have for you guys! I recently had to put my sidekick of nearly 15 years to sleep and used Faithful Companion with the help of Lap of Love. I was told through Lap of Love that it would likely take a couple days for Faithful Companion to reach out to me regarding when they would be able to return my pet's cremated remains back home to me. To my surprise, not only was the timeline shorter than that, my pet was able to return home to me in less than 24 hours after he passed. When Chris arrived, he was extremely kind and compassionate as he handed delivered a beautiful urn with my pet's name engraved in gold on the cherry red box. He was sure to offer any assistance regarding the loss of my pet and any other help I may have needed. Chris and Faithful Companion left an impression that I will not soon forget in dealing with the loss of my dog and highly recommend them for anyone looking for pet cremation services.

We euthanized our elderly dog with cancer with Lap of Love. Cremation with Faithful Companion is part of their private cremation service. They dropped Velma off the same day and we received her ashes the next day. I had a very short interaction with the person who dropped off her ashes, but even in that short time could sense empathy and appreciated their kind words. The box with her name is lovely and we are so happy she "made it back home" so quickly.

We lost our old boy a couple of days ago and our vet contacted Faithful Companions to handle his remains. Words cannot accurately convey our thanks and gratitude to them. They arrived at our home a few minutes after our boy passed. They were beyond respectful and allowed us to spend as much time with him as we wanted before they took him. There was no rushing us at all. They treated him with respect and dignity while preparing to remove him. We got his remains delivered back to us the next day. There was a problem with his name being spelled wrong on his box and paw print. No only did they replace the affected items, they delivered them to us the same day. The worst part of owning pets is when we have to let them go but these guys helped ease the pain by getting our boy back to use in record speed. Faithful Companions is top notch and went above and beyond in my opinion. As the rest off our pack goes, we will be sure to use this company, without a doubt.

Yesterday was one of the hardest days as we had to say goodbye to our loving and faithful companion Dakota. There are truly not enough words that could ever tell the entire staff of Faithful Companion how grateful we are for all they did for us.From the first phone call to the last moment of our final goodbye they treated us with a kindness and compassion that I have never experienced before.We opted for a private viewing. From the first moment we arrived to the last Moth was truly amazing. He handled our Dakota with the utmost care and compassion.He explained every detail down to the final moments. His level of compassion was truly amazing. He handled Dakota as if he was his very own.I cannot say enough about Moth and the entire staff of Faithful Companion. You truly made one of the most difficult times easier to deal with. You are truly an amazing group of people.

Today I received my pet's ashes and found that both engravings were misspelled. As I opened the items and found these mistakes, my grief turned to anger. I verified on the order confirmation that the name they received was spelled correctly, but it seems the engraver wasn't paying attention that day. They said they can recreate his paw print using the existing item, but it just wouldn't be the same to me as using the actual paw print from his body. Maybe that doesn't matter to some people, but it matters to me. So my choices are to either get a rough copy of his paw print with the correct spelling, or to keep the correct paw print and see his name misspelled. Do not recommend.

Once I received a call from our daughter that she couldn’t find our dog, we then received a call from our neighbor that he was hit by a car. I called faithful companion and explained what had happened and explained that we lived off a state route and within those speed limits I was unsure the state his body was in. They offered to come out and pick up our Mickey so my kids (9 and 5) wouldn’t have to see him in that state. They came out within that hour and loaded him up with care. Not even 24 hours later we have him back home. Every person I personally spoke with or had face to face contact with was very caring, kind and was very professional. They truly care about the needs and wants of the loved ones as well as not trying to make an up sale.

These are the people you never want to meet but are so thankful they are there when you do. We had taken our dog, Leo, to MedVet and they offered the cremation. We didn’t know who was going to do it or where it was going to be done. Amazingly the next business day, we get a call from Chris saying he was going to bring Leo home. I was stunned. I thought I would have to pick him up somewhere but about an hour and a half later, Leo was handed to me on our front doorstep by one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met. We wanted a couple of other keepsakes, so I had additional contact with Nate and Troy and they were also absolutely amazing! Not that I want to start planning for my other pet’s passing, but these will be the people that handle that as well!

I cannot speak more highly of Faithful Companions. My husband and I were in absolute shock after euthanizing our heartdog Sura, and Faithful Companions, especially Jordan, went above and beyond for us that evening and allowed us to have a wonderful goodbye with our beautiful girl. We elected to stay the entire time during the cremation, going through photos and videos of our dog while we were waiting, and we realized that after we left with her cremains the entire process had actually helped us take a step forward in the grieving journey. Her urn was gorgeous and we took two small vials of her ashes home as well. As a veterinarian who tries to give support during euthanasias to my clients, I was immensely grateful to receive such kindhearted support from Jordan when we lost our own. An enormous thank you to Jordan and the entire Faithful Companions team, I will be recommending you often!

Faithful companion was really nice to deal with when my cat passed away extremely suddenly on a Saturday evening. They were the only place open late on a Saturday that could help. They met me at the door, went over options, and allowed me time to sit with my cat, Rocky, to say goodbye before leaving. I was able to come pick up his ashes the next day and the staff kept a clipping of fur and footprint for me because I asked for it. I really appreciate having such a compassionate person and business to handle this tough time for my family.

We had a very positive experience with Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services. The vet who came to our home for our cat's end of life (Kona's Loving Paws) offered cremation through Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services. They came to our house while the vet was still there and took Louie. The next day, they delivered Louie's cremains and you could tell the utmost care and attention to detail had been taken in the presentation. Louie's cremains were in a nice wood box with his name engraved on top. They also provided a clay pawprint with his name and even a stand to hold the clay pawprint upright. There was a sympathy card and booklet on grief. They are less expensive than other places I have used and I highly recommend them.

My wife was in the military and I was a musician, so we never had the opportunity to donate the right amount of time to love a pet. We started loving parrots 12-years ago with a 6-week old African Grey named Cap'n Jack, followed by a Blue front Amazon named Admiral the next year, then Sarge a Green Cheek Conure...a small parrot with the biggest personality. My service dog had to be put down and the vet used faithful companion and their home service. Putting a pet, or service animal down is the absolute worst thing to go thru, so it’s wonderful to know that faithful companion had my back. I was recommended Faithful Companion by a friend. I am glad I chose to work with them after the passing of my pet hedgehog. They offered me fur clippings to have in his memory in addition to his ashes, it means so much to me. I would highly recommend them, very kind and caring staff. they offer beautiful urns and do not return the ashes in a plastic bag- its a nice cloth pouch bag instead. the remains are beautifully put together and done with obvious care.

I just wanna say I’m really disappointed in the box that I received my cats remains in. I called them and the lady was not helpful at all. I paid $330 for my cat to be cremated and for the box to not be some thing that I wanted really upsets me I’m already going through a hard time by losing my pet.
