I just want to say how great Geib funeral home is. They cremated our best friend Blue and they did an amazing and caring job. We got Blue back in a very nice crafted wooden box along with a laminated foot print, a certificate of cremation, a very nice and caring card signed by all the staff, and last but not least a clay footprint of Blues in a very nice leather case and when you open the leather case it has the paw print on one side and then on the other side is a Rainbow Bridge Poem. It was all very touching to the heart! Thank you Geib funeral home from the bottom of our hearts ❤️

Geib Funeral Home has served both my family and my wife’s family flawlessly for decades. My parents had more complex arrangements that involved calling hours here in New Philadelphia and in Tennessee where they were buried. More recently, when handling my father-in-law’s funeral, they presented a simple but classic funeral service that included Veteran services and did everything possible to honor him and serve my mother-in-law.Professionally, I was involved when the remains of WWII vet Emmet Schwartz were identified in France and brought back to New Philadelphia for services fit such a hero. They have also served my Office when a young Deputy passed away and have cared for our Retired K-9’s when they have passed. The detail and effort that the Geib family and staff put into all of these services was exceptional. Service like this is rare and they are like family to us.Orvis Campbell.

If you are in the New Philadelphia/Dover area, there is really no question who you should turn to for funeral needs. The Geib staff is all amazing! At the hardest times in your life they will welcome you with loving arms and treat you like family. They will gently guide you through the difficulties of dealing with death and grief. It was so comforting to deal with the staff at Geibs when my husband died this past year. Since we now live out of town, there were special arrangements that needed to be done. There is never a “good” time to think about death. When things go well, we don’t want to invite trouble, and when it inevitably happens, we’re so consumed by grief and our own loss that frequently that’s all we can manage. When we lost my sister, it was all we could do to put one foot in front of the other and make it through a day. Thankfully, we had Anne and the Geib staff to take us by the hand, calm our fears, diffuse tension, and see us through the process of planning and executing a beautiful service and burial.After that loss, my mother scheduled an appointment and set up and prepaid her funeral. She wanted to make it easy on us when her time came. Anne and her staff took wonderful care of her, helping her to make her selections, answering her many and frequent questions, and calming her fears. And when Mom’s time did come, Geib stepped in and once again walked us through the difficult, the sad, the goodbye.I am deeply grateful for the care and concern shown by the staff of Geib, and wholeheartedly recommend them for your needs.

We had to have our dogeuthanized a couple weeks ago. The funeral home handled everything. They picked her up at the vet office and returned her once cremated.They did a beautiful job. We would very highly recommend them to other pet lovers for their family pets.

We were blessed to have the Geib Funeral Home Services handle the services for my Dad, Hugh Berry. There's no way possible to describe the compassion and coordination that was provided by their organization, as it was unbelievable. They met us at the door with compassion and handled every detail from top to bottom for everything. It did not matter whether at the last minute we needed editing done to speeches or artwork displayed during the services, they were seamless in handling every detail. It was a service I will never forget as when we walked in they had a large bouquet of long stemmed red roses at the front. It was absolutely breathtaking. My family has been working with the Geib Family for decades and they are always on top of things. Everything that you can think to ask they already have the answer. We met with Anne for my Mom's services recently. She was over accommodating and already had things done for the most part when we all sat down. We just needed to get her a few things. The Services went off without a hitch and she was ahead of the game the whole time and with a smile on her face. She has stayed in touch with us even 3 weeks later. There are a few others that definitely need to be mentioned. George was so gentle and caring when he took Mom into his care. Jennifer, Jane, & Robin did an Amazing job with the service materials. And let us not forget Peeper and her comforting hugs. Jenny and Vivian were very attentive hosts at the family reception afterwards. There are not enough stars to give the Geib Family, but I'm going with the most I can give "5 Stars". I would recommend their services to everyone I talk to. We have used Geib for all of my family and most of my extended family. They have provided us with excellent service. Everyone at Geib has been kind and understanding. It never felt like it was just business and always felt like they were helping us through the difficult times. All of the services that they have provided were well done. The kids had a separate room to go and color or play while we shared time with family and those who came to give there condolences. We always were satisfied with the overall experience that they gave us for our loved ones. We would highly recommend!

My Father in law Mike Dorsey passed last month in August of 2023 they had a lot of stuff pre planned thru Geib, but what the didn't Ann was very patient and compassionate with us.Every detail was completely taken care of without hesitation and nothing was left out. Geib Funeral did a great job when my Seal Point Siamese fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge this past August. I was in a local nursing home getting physical therapy for a broken hip. They agreed to allow a cousin of mine to take him to Geib’s in New Phila., and return his ashes to New Phila., making it easier for my cousin. I had prepaid for his cremation and urn when I prepaid for my funeral about ten years ago. Geib’s staff is terrific!

My grandfather's funeral was here. I highly recommend. They were extremely compassionate and patient, and coordinated everything to put on a service that would have made him proud. The space is also lovely, and they have a separate room for families to gather with meals following the service.

I THANK THEM VERY,VERY MUCH THEY TOOK SUCH GREAT CARE OF MY DAD JIM MUSGRAVE!! I NEVER HAD SUCH A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE WITH A FUNERAL HOME!! I FELT SO VERY,VERY MUCH LOVE COMING FROM THEM THEY WERE EVEN GREAT AT THE CEMETERY!!! AGAIN THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! "GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!

I would not recommend them for there prices . They are more expensive than anyone around them . I had my dad cremated and it cost 3000.00 with nothing extra, no urn or anything.
