Our friend for the last 14 1/2 years, Buster, got too old and feeble to carry on, though as usual, not a dog to complain. We decided his time had come as he was finding it more & more difficult to handle daily tasks without assistance and he was too sweet to allow him to suffer needlessly. He was 3 or 4 when we rescued him so he had out-lived his breed's average lifespan of 10-12 years by around 6 years. We will never forget our loving best buddy! The Tender Heart Crematorium went above and beyond in taking care of Buster! Thank you all!

I unfortunately lost my dog to lymphoma and wanted him cremated. I had previously called ahead and had given them all of my information and requested that I get a paw print with the box as it comes with it free. When I came in, I immediately signed the paper work that went over all of the info that was given to me over the phone, including confirming the paw print. When I came to pick up his ashes, everything was wrong. His box was scratched up on the front of the box and was not in good condition, NO PAW PRINT, and the canvas bag his remains were in was stained all dirty looking. When I went in and showed them my concerns they treated me like there wasn't a problem. After a few minutes they gave me a new box but when I asked where the paw print was that I requested, all they said was "you said you didn't want one". I was furious as this was the one thing I was looking forward to and really wanted, and explained that I had told them multiple times that I DID want a paw print. They showed me the paperwork where they wrote a note on the top corner " no paw print" and I said that was written after I had signed the paperwork without my consent and I did not verbally say those words, which they explained that they asked my aunt who was with me which she said no. I am the owner and I said yes, so why did this unprofessional business ask someone who is NOT the owner and dictate what happens. All they could say is "its too late now to change anything" like really?!!!! This place does NOT know what they are doing. Will NEVER recommend this place.

Hope to find out a few things for years now. Because after my dog was cremated, I had to go and pick her up at the vets office where she passed. I did all the paperwork but never got her paw prints, day of cremation even though I know the time she passed and time I picked her back up. Her name was spelled wrong, and I want to know since yes, she was my baby girl I just wondering why I do not have all the info. Anyone else have this happen?

When my cat, Gizmo, died of terminal cancer, the people at Dogwood were both sympathetic and efficient. To my relief, a real, live person (not a recording) answered the phone and immediately sent someone to pick up her body. This person arrived promptly and expressed her condolences. I would highly recommend Dogwood to anyone who loses, or expects to lose, a pet. Keep up the good work!
