We have known the Schildmeyer family for a number of years. We are located in the Steubenville area and we have traded services with them for out of town death's and each time we have worked together seamlessly. They are very organized and represent themselves in a very professional manner. Family owned, personal service vs. corporate, unreliable should be valued when selecting a funeral home.

My daughter died unexpectedly about 5 years ago In Hamilton. The state was going to send her body to a funeral home up there. They were not friendly and out of sight with the price. I happened upon Tufts by accident and I’m so glad I did! It only took one call and by the time I got to the office, they already had my daughter in transit. They were not only kind and friendly but very helpful and caring! I have recommended them to several people and will continue to… thank you so much!

They did a wonderful job for my mother's funeral. Julie was very professional and helpful in the whole process. She put my Dad at ease and helped organize everything. We are very grateful and I know my Mom would have loved the arrangements.

My brother passed away unexpectedly a few years ago. They were very helpful and took care of everything including ordering a veteran's plaque for his gravesite. We received his death certificates in less than a week. The quality of service was far more than expected. We had used a funeral home on Mason for previous family members and there is no comparison with the quality of service received from Tufts Schildmeyer.

Gabriel was a very sweet person,explained everything .was caring.nice people.when they picked my brother in law up it was a young man.very nice respectfull Caring .I liked they way they covered him with American flag.he is a veteran. And that was very respectful to do that thank you so much.
