I would like to personally thank Heather for assisting me with modifying the shipping label for "Jax". When I found out there was a signature required for delivery, I didn't want him riding around on a truck until someone could sign for his remains. Everyone who has gone through this process knows the pain. Thank you for taking care of our faithful companion for the last time. The professional method of shipping shows the caring for our beloved pet. Thank you.

My chinchilla, Munchie, passed away on her sixteenth Gotcha Day at home. I took her remains to the vet clinic and they sent her here. I got her back exactly a week later in a beautiful little wooden box decorated with carved trees and a very nice engraved nameplate. They also sent a Certificate of Cremation and got a paw print in clay. I wasn't given the option for ashes in a necklace, a fur clipping, etc. probably because she was so small and I sent her through the vet office but I had the foresight to collect some of her fuzzy "tumbleweeds" (if you have a chinchilla, you know!) to save in a locket or resin. Overall they did a lovely job. This same facility cremated my sister's rabbit a few years ago and did the same package. Chinchillas love climbing and I'm glad my Munchie now gets to sit on the highest shelf in her old room.

The emergency vet we took our boy too had us deal with Trusted Journey. They used USPS to ship him back to us and they lost him for a day. We then contacted Trusted Journey through their recommended email address about the clay paw print and to date have not received a response. Not impressed

They took care of our dog and got him back home to us quickly along with a plaster cast of his paw print. The process was seamless which was very appreciated during the unexpected loss

Want to say thank you I have been very anxious loosing my beloved mable(boxer English bulldog) and waiting for her return the beautiful and caring that went into her cremation and the understanding about how much our fury friends mean to us thank you for caring and giving a peace of mind and helping us through the grief

Trusted Journey did a excellent job with my Great Dane's cremation. Everything from the urn to the keepsakes were beautiful. I highly recommend and will use their services again when the need arises. Thank you!

Unexpectedly amazed on how beautiful the presentation of our dog Lyla came back to us. From West Park to the final arrangements, it couldn't have been done more professionally.

Our dog Roman went into heart failure rapidly at the age of 13 years and 7 months….we made the hard decision to put him to rest. Roman passed on August 13th and we received my sweet boy back on August 15th. Everything was beautifully done….the only thing I thought that would have been better if he had a police escort and arrived at his home in a limousine.😀….thank you for your prompt service and the care you did for our sweet boy!

This was my first time of having to put down my pet and I was devastated. I had questions for Western Farm about procedures and what to expect. The lady I spoke to was very professional and sincere with her answers and helping me to feel more relaxed with what was going to be done with my St Bernard Reggie. I received his remains back in a beautiful cherry wood urn with a plaque and his name etched in it with the year. I also received a nice little picture frame with stand a sympathy card a pack of annual/perennial seeds to plant in memory of Big Reg and a tin with clay and his paw print in the clay. Such a wonderful job and a surely caring procedure for the animal and it's family. Thank you so much!

The thoughtful collection you sent back with our Apollo’s cremains, was beyond what we expected. I’ve had cats cremated before but have never received anything so special. What a nice touch!

This place is a disgrace. The ashes I received back are OBVIOUSLY not my pets. I know this because I asked for a single mouse to be privately cremated and returned. What did I get? Way too much ash, bone bits as big as his head, whiskers that weren't his. Picture attached below. These people should be ashamed. I gave them my furry baby with complete trust, and they spit in my face.

This place preys on people who are grieving. It was not my choice to go with Trusted Journey, this is the company that West Park Animal Hospital uses. I had to put my cat to sleep on Saturday night. When i did, i let them know i didn't want ashes back, that's no longer her and i don't want to think of her that way. I don't need a paw print or a clip of her fur...i have fur, and i have dozens of photos of her perfect little black toe beans. I said this before i left the vet. I began receiving emails from Trusted Journey before i even made it home. Her poor little body was barely cold and they were trying to upsell me. The emails also made it seem as though i still owed money, even if i wasn't going to purchase "souvenirs"... even the vet was confused by this when i called to double check, as i had to pay before any services were provided. I received six emails and several phone calls over the next few days, even extending the time that i had to change my mind about buying more. The phone calls finally stopped only after i called back, sobbing and begging them to allow me to grieve without trying to get more money from me. Their practices are predatory and cruel. I'm sure they're great if you're spending the extra money, but if you don't, they'll sure do their best to make you feel guilty about it. This was never about money, it's about what's best for me and my own grief.

Trusted Journey‘s service was wonderful. I was so worried about my vet sending my fur baby to a place I was not familiar with but they exceeded my expectations and treated my boy with dignity and respect until the end. His ashes were quickly returned to me in a beautiful wooden box, as well as a patch of his fur and a paw print which I will cherish forever. Thank you Trusted Journey for making the grieving process a little easier for us.

I lost my best friend and companion, Noah Gusstifer in 3/28. The vet clinic he went to uses trusted journey memorial services for cremation. It was nice because they handled all of it, and yesterday I received his ashes in a beautiful wooden box with a velvet bag inside of it for his ashes. The box is beautiful and it came with a paw print and snipping of his fur. It was all so lovely, and I didn't have to stress over making any decisions. I am profoundly saddened by Noah's passing, but am so thankful that I have such beautiful and thoughtful keepsakes to remember him by. Thank you so much! ♥️

We just got our beloved Dutchess back Thursday. We were very happy when we picked her up. Her ashes were in a velvet blue bag inside a beautiful chest, which was also inside a velvet bag and there was a name plate for the chest. We have been through this before and we are grateful for the care you took to makes this a better experience than in our past! Thank you for taking great care of our fur baby!

My BooBoo died at home at the age of 14.5. He was diagnosed with heart failure and I was told it was highly unlikely he would make it 6 months even on medication. I drove over two hours to get him to his cardiologist and gave him medications knowing it was just giving me a little more time. He was the first cat that I ever had so losing him has been painfully hard. I really wanted to bury him but his sudden death didn’t give me time to get it all in place and think clearly so I received his ashes in a beautiful box with his name etched in it and I placed his picture in it. I also received the paw necklace with his ashes in it then I have been wearing daily. I also received fur clippings and a card and a name plaque with the words I chose on it to display near his picture. I received everything within a week I think. It is expensive but it gave me memories. I miss him so much but I thank Trusted Journey in taking care of him after he received his Angel wings

My vet used this service and as painful as it is to go through this, they did a beautiful job with my sara lee - they sent a card with some snips of her hair, a plaster paw print that was nicely boxed. Her ashes were in a beautiful carved wood box inside a velvet bag. It came with an adhesive metal name plate. The box was also in a blue velvet bag and everything came in an elegant dark blue gift bag. It brings me a little bit of peace to know that my furbaby was handled with such care and respect to the very end.

We received a pop-up during checkout for our family's cat that said the services offered had changed and to please restart; private cremation had gone up in those few minutes from $189 to $209 with no explanation. Everything is a la carte so it is easy to rack up quite the bill with only a few basic items, such as fur clippings or a clay paw print. Picking up your pet's keepsakes at the clinic where they were treated is not an option; there is only a shipping fee to your home (in our case $30). Our cat's urn and keepsakes arrived intact, but for hundreds of dollars overall spent, the nameplate wasn't even attached to the urn.Important to note: Trusted Journey's client portal warned that if we had not made a decision with payment going through online in 72 hours, our cat would have been shipped off for communal cremation with nothing back.We left our cat at MedVet Cleveland West feeling at peace with how well she passed, yet I am dismayed they have chosen Trusted Journey. This will be a time-sensitive financial surprise for families, who are likely already stressed by their pets needing emergency care prior to their passing. Though our cat's keepsakes are otherwise dignified, I do not find Trusted Journey's policies and practices worth using their services again.

We would like to thank Western Farm for the fantastic service we got for our Beau. It only took 3 days to get him back in a great decorated rosewood box. The clay print and flower seeds were a very appreciated surprise. This has been one of the hardest times in our lives and you made it just a little bit easier to get through it.

I want to thank Western Farm for making a very difficult time in my life a little easier. Monty was more than a pet and even more than just a family member he was my best friend and loyal beyond anyone can imagine. Monty was with me each time I was diagnosed and by my side through some very tough nights. I will miss him more than words can describe. 15 amazing and blessed years with my amazing pug. Western Farm returned my boy to me in a beautiful cherry wood box. Monty is back with me and I am grateful thank you

My cat was cremated here through my vet. His remains were put in a metal "jar" painted blue. The jar, they called an urn is 5" high with no name or date. They did a paw print also with no name or date only a bar code on the back like store merchandise. I researched this and most urns are ceramic not metal. The only thing with his name was the certificate of cremation. This cost me a lot of money and I feel violated. So sad, he deserved more than this he did have a name , Walter"

My mom got her dogs (my sister) ashes and box back today from the vets office and everything was absolutely beautiful! The box she came in, the bag inside the box, a sympathy card, seeds to be planted and Nina’s paw print. On behalf of my mom and our entire family thank you all so so much! You are very appreciated!

I HIGHLY recommend this place for anyones deceased pet......The attention to detail & thought put into this are wonderful. I have used this company a few times & again this past week. The urn is beautiful, well made & with my pets LONG full name on it, a certificate, a card, seeds to plant in rembrance of my pet... flowers for my garden to grow- how lovely- & most precious the paw print in clay. Thank u Western for respecting my pet this way & giving her such dignity at the end, for your special touch & the gifts....the paw print & the seeds are everything. Our 12 year old cat died at home during the pandemic & this was taken care of with zero problem at such a difficult time for us personally & also all businesses including you I am sure, but it dint show or reflect that way .....thank u for being there for us & Smokey & doing such a lovely job , going above & beyond..... We have all elderly, special needs rescue pets ; all over 13 years of age... so, we'll see u again soon. Thank u again for such beautiful professionalism .

Beautiful grounds, helpful caring staff. I opted for a clay paw print of my beloved Abby (picture posted) and I'm pleased with it. Note, Google Maps mistakenly said I had arrived. Went East over the tracks on Island Rd and then, immediately made a left into the Western Farms driveway. Staff said they'll have a sign up in the near future, because right now, there isn't one.Pet cemetery was lovely.Edit: 2021 the clay paw print on the right was from 2018. The clay paw print on the right is from 2021. Not impressed. If you're dealing with the Heartbreak of a passing pet, like I was, I would highly recommend Western Farms.

Hunter 3/4/10 --- 4/29/19You all are amazing and made this as easy of a process as it could be. I called twice and spoke to two different women. You were both sympathetic and caring. The end result of my Boxer (Hunter's) remains were perfect. Thank you for making this hard process a pleasant experience.Keep up the great work!

My cat was cremated by this company through the veterinarian. Though most of the memorial materials seem to be well done, I was very disappointed with how poor the attempt at capturing her pawprints was. I feel like they may have rushed this because it came through from the vet instead of me directly.

Is always difficult to put a family member, loving pet down after so many years of enjoyment. In my heart cremation is always the best choice. One, because it is the most respectful of their body. Two, ashes are returned home in physical state.I have just received my private creamation ashes of Frazier. I did not expect the beautiful cherry box with his contents! Nor the personalized engraved plate with his name. So touching! So respectful to me and my family! Thank You very much!

I want to thank the staff of Western Farm Pet Crematory & Cemetery for the care they gave my Hank. I welcomed Hank into my home on May 28, 2020, as a Foster. He had been a mill dog only used for breeding and had lived his 8 years tied in a horse stall. He came to me malnourished and had Lyme disease. I gave him the medical care he needed and got his weight up to 108 pounds. He was neutered and had a full dental exam and had just been announced that he was available for adoption. A week later he died from cardiac arrest at our Emergency hospital. Hank was a wonderful Foster and I loved him as if he were my own. The four months he lived with me showed him what love was. He learned to trot around the yard and play. I was blessed to have him in my life.

While most of these reviews are in regard to small animals mine was a horse. I watched while my horse was loaded on the trailer to take him to the crematory and his remains were treated with respect. (Comical story but not enough space here, but it would convey the respect, concern and good humor of those who work here. Let's just say my Halifax had the last word just as he would want it.) Seeing that the barn where he was boarded was only a few miles away and on the same road I was able and welcome there not only upon his arrival but for his cremation if I so desired. I would say to those who are concerned who wrote about the cremains that were returned, no matter where you go ask if you can stay. It is the only way you will ever know and the only way some people will ever be able to feel comfortable. If a mistake was made I can only imagine how awful it must feel barring any monetary outlay. But, the spirit and having my companion close is comforting especially given that horses are taken to dumps and put in a trough and covered with lime in common burial pits. So if there is a little someone else in there with him so be it. I would find solice in knowing someone else who loved their pet as much as I loved mine is keeping him company. But, I know it is only him in there and his soul and spirit live in my heart not in the box. I hope this helps if there was a mistake made.I also had one if my cats cremated and I think it is him. My box was not sealed either but I never thought about it. I prefer it not being sealed. The horse, Halifax, he is sealed and very heavy!!!!!!!! His box is so big sometimes I sit on it like I am still able to sit on his back.I hope no one who reads this finds this morose, but I am 62 and have lived through a lot of death in my life and after the grief have found the joy, peace, memories and humor not only in life but in death as well.Thank you Western Farms for being in this business.God Bless and blessings for anyone reading this review because I've been where you are. Just ask I am sure your wishes will be fulfilled by Western. We will be back. I just hope not soon.Beverly Fowle

I am so happy with how my tinkerbell was returned to me. Included in the bag was a tin paw print, mini picture frame, hair snippings, wooden cherry box with her ashes and the name tag, they were ALL labeled with my cats name and a bar code, even the bag itself was labeled. Everything was puurrrfect for my tink tinks final resting. I bought another urn to separate her ashes and keep her in 2 rooms. The cherry box was easy to open and get to her ashes out. I would recommend western farm to anyone Thank you guys so much for all that you have done ❤🐈

I lost my best friend and companion, Noah Gusstifer in 3/28. The vet clinic he went to uses trusted journey memorial services for cremation.

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED and UPSET with Western Farms ! I was told I had 7 days to contact them with my decision. Not even 24 hours of putting my beloved kitty to sleep, I received a phone call asking if I had made my decision, and wanting to discuss payment options. I was still grieving, and thought that was very rude and inconsiderate! When I received my kitty's remains, the box was not sealed, and the nameplate was not attached ! I paid a lot of money, and expected this to be done for me ! It has only been a week since I had to say goodbye to my pet, who I considered a family member, and am still grieving ! I should NOT have to seal his box and attach the nameplate myself !

I have to honestly say my experience was above what I could have ever imagined! My beloved “Dakota” (poodle/shitzu) passed this morning in my arms at home! “Dakota” was 15 years old! The casket is the perfect size for “Dakota”. He looks so very peaceful! I’m so very greatful for the inner peace you have brought to me and my Family! RIP to my precious “Dakota”. Mommy loves you!!!❤️. An extra special Thank You to my “love” Chuck Chury for all you do! I love you to the moon and back!❤️

They are wonderful here - I recently lost my 14 yo cat, and they offered 4 lovely choices to keep her ashes in. They also sent a lovely note of condolence. It makes it just a tiny bit easier to deal with her loss.

They were very kind giving us important information on getting our pet euthanized

I am so thankful for this company. My dog sadly passed on Tuesday and Trusted Journey was able to take him with them to be cremated. It was sheer luck that they came not long after he passed. This company provides families with peace. I will forever be thankful

Trusted Journey, treated my sweet Gunnar with nothing but respect and dignity. I would choose their services 100x over before ever going elsewhere for aftercare.I was so impressed with Gunnar's urn, but was really blown away by my pawprint charm necklace.Thank you Trusted Journey!!!

They went above and beyond! We expected a nice box. We received a nice cherry box, name plate that we could choose to use or not, a clay print, a nice card, and seeds to plant in his memory. We are VERY thankful that they took such great care of our big man!!

Irene Dornauer
