It is with 120% confidence that I recommend Tufts Funeral Home in Goshen. Thank you to Funeral Directors Allison Williams, Phil Hopper, and Tim King. You are the best of the best!Here’s why Goshen’s Tufts Funeral should be anyone’s place to have a loved ones funeral:1. I have officiated more than 15 funerals for families and can confidently say that Tufts Funeral Home is absolutely incredible with the services and care they provide.The Goshen facility would be our preference out of the 3, but all three locations are well done.2. We were shown such care, compassion, tender grace as well as given the space when we need it.3. There was not the sales pitch or $$$ feel to our planning meeting with the director’s. They gently and clearly gave us the information and prices and allowed us the time and space to decide.4. They handled the logistics, paperwork and finances bery professionally and without stress or hassle.5. The mortician’s work on my father was truly a MASTERPIECE . They had him looking perfectly himself. I truly cannot say enough about what a superb job they did with my dad. Thank you.6. The funeral team took all of our display items and set them up in such a precious and special way that I’m not even sure our family could have done.7. The Milford VFW Auxiliary team were phenomenal and genuinely performed such an honorable ceremony. THANK YOU to all of the men who served our family and honored my dad.8. The funeral home went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations. Truly!9. When it comes to services, ceremonies, and events, I have very high standards, being a director, performer, and pastor. I truly have nothing to say in critique other than their facility is still under renovation and aren’t fully completed yet, but that’s out of their control and fully understandable when family’s desire is to have a funeral home that is not outdated. Even with a few minor updates still to be done, they worked hard to provide such a warm and comforting place.From the bottom of our hearts - THANK YOU Tufts Funeral home for making my dad’s funeral a special day we will never forget.Blessings!

I was very disappointed with how Tuft Sxhildmeyer represents 2 options for cremation - and charges severe differences in cost. 1 - hands on... if you speak with someone for personal attention during your emotional process, they charge you 2400+... but if you go online hands off... less than 1000.00. Then when you have concerns, they personally misrepresent themselves so not to have to deal with the emotions of their grieving clientele. I would no longer use them for crematorium purposes. They are great if memorial services with value to them are used.

The two fellows I spoke with was so kind and helpful. My girls urn was engraved so beautiful. I was so happy to get her back so fast. Thank you for everything, from the bottom of my heart 🐾

Everything was done quickly and efficiently. And I really appreciate all of the information on grief and mourning that they gave me. I dropped her off in the morning and gotta call the same day that I could come pick up my girl. Some of the most kind, compassionate people work here, and it meant a lot to me to have them be the ones to take care of my girl.

I waited to review on purpose. I understand that people have higher standards when their loved ones are involved, not to mention at a highly emotional time like during the loss of a loved one. For that reason, I will stick to the facts. I do a lot of reviews and I don’t give low ratings often or without thought as I know they do impact business. That being said, I will simply state the facts (you can’t make this up) for my review.1. On the day of the service when family arrived early to set up, the cremation garage was OPEN revealing all tools and even a gurney outside of the oven, that was smoking (IN USE)! A man was standing with some sort of stoking tool or shovel at the oven. Keep in mind, our loved one was being cremated so this was not a welcome vision upon arriving for the services.2. When we kindly asked that the doors be closed to hide the visual we were actually met with attitude by the staff. I was shocked.3. There was zero attention to detail. Arrangements of photos etc did not match what was agreed upon.4. The host kept calling our loved one and the eulogist by THE WRONG NAME (multiple times).5. Staff actually walked up to the family and handed us our cremated loved one DURING SERVICES! You can’t make this stuff up.5. Tufts did not provide water or coffee for guests.6. This is the last major thing I am going to mention, when a family member asked about an undone service that had been paid for, they too were met with attitude.Positives include a beautiful exterior building, somewhat dated interior and the attendants seemed friendly as long as you didn’t ask for much.As a Local Guide, I would encourage using another facility during such a sensitive time.

First off I thought their cremation center was a wonderful place. They took great care with both my parents final arrangements. My opinion changed drastically today when my beloved pet passed away in my husband's arms and we called to take him there to be cremated. We were told sorry we have no one there to take him in. Wait do you tell people this when they call about humans? I think not. This dog was my family member. I am grieving for him, Max just as I did my parents. I am totally disgusted by your lack of empathy towards us and I will make sure that everyone Iknow knows how we were treated. Shame on you Tufts Schildmeyer. If you treat all pet parents the way you did us you should not be in the business of pet creamation.

Would highly recommend! Took care of our beloved dog, Sadie. She was cremated and got her back next day. Not over priced.
