My husband was cremated almost 4 yrs ago. It took me that long to say something. They did not return my husband's belongings, the screwed up my husband's death certificate. He was Born in Puerto Rico on an American Air Force base, the put him as Hispanic ethnicity. They had to redo the death certificate. My husband was a Viet Nam Veteran and they lied to me about taken delivery of his flag! I received an email from a nephew of theirs stating the flag was there. When I picked up his ashes the secretary said that the flag was not there. This has left a deep scar. I will never say anything nice about Monreal Scirnic funeral home. When I picked up my husband's flag finally they were just going to hand it to me without a thank you for your husband's service

I wish I could give mores stars. Obviously during a death, there are so many things that you have to take care of and with the added emotions, it can be very difficult! My dad passed away a few days ago and being that we were there from out of state, they knew the importance of getting all the details taken care of before we had to leave. They took the time to speak with us and explain the process. They were actually empathetic and didn't just treat you like another "client". I am so glad that we chose them to help with the arrangements for my dad. I can't imagine using anyone else to help me. They are truly amazing!

We weren’t sure what to expect upon choosing a funeral home after losing our mother to Alzheimer’s. Others had shared various experiences in their own journeys throughout the years and felt the need to ‘warn’ us of sales and services pressure and such when choosing a funeral home. This could not have been further from the truth with Monreal. From the time we walked in the doors, we were treated with such care and respect that we knew immediately we were in the right place. We were given all the information and the options to make our own personal choices - choices that we felt best reflected who our mother was and what she would have wanted. There was no pressure to upgrade or add-on something we didn’t want or need. They asked, listened and then helped us finalize all the things. The visitation. ceremony and burial were done with such grace and respect. They are beautiful people to work with during such a difficult time. We also want to be sure to include the support and follow-up they provided well after the service. We simply can not say enough about the care and concern they showed us in the days/weeks that followed. We would not hesitate to recommend them as a soft place to land to help ease the final decisions needed when losing a loved one. We are so very grateful and blessed to have worked with such a wonderful company during this very trying time.

This weekend I had the pleasure of going on a bus trip to Seneca Niagara and Seneca Allegheny sponsored by Jane Srnick of Monreal Srnick Funeral Home in Eastlake. She was a perfect hostess and made the trip a pleasant experience. Many laughs were had and her generosity was overwhelming. Highly suggest you consider them for your burial and cremation needs. Monreal Funeral Home, aided me to endure my grief and loss with respect, dignity, comfort, patience and organization. Monreal detailed everything out clearly and concisely from viewing times, funeral time, expendetures and even the precise time of burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Everything was like a fine wine, going smoothly.I would like to Thank the Management of Monreal Funeral Home for having chosen such a qualified staff to represent their organization, in values, care honesty, and of course with love. In that, it tells me that Management is extremely selective in whom they chose in personnel to represent not only them but a caring appreciation for the clients. Utmost professionals and Director Jane Srnick Monreal is an asset to the community, always giving back and helping worthy causes. Get to know her if you get the chance, and a great idea pre-planning with them. It saves so much stress at a difficult time. I would actually give them a 10 STAR rating if I could.

My mother was 20 minutes late to her own funeral. Monreal promised she would be there at least a half an hour early, but she was in fact late as the mourning family and friends waited awkwardly in the church lobby.
