Everything about losing my husband was as difficult as one could imagine and some know from their own experiences. The funeral home and burial process could not have been handled with more grace and empathy than what Toland-Herzig offered. The employees truly were one of the only peaceful parts of this in having so much kindness for me and patience within the planning process for my brother in laws. They even followed up to check on me and our family after the services. Thank you isn’t enough. I would recommend them to anyone in planning for their loved one’s final respects.

Everyone at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home has been extremely helpful and compassionate. They show they really care about your loved one and the whole family. My momma passed away March 28 2022 and they are there for you for everything from Social Security to Insurance. Anything that makes it easier for the family. I love how they text you call you to check on you to make sure you are ok. They offer grief council. I would recommend Toland-Herzig to friends and family. Toland takes care of you. I have also had my pets cremated and they treat them like family too. Thank you for being there for me and my family.

My grandmother's funeral was held at Toland Herzig and their services were absolutely perfect. They were very accommodating for what we wanted to do including video projection, music, and a keyboard for my brother to play a song. The facilities were clean, beautiful, and always had snacks, drinks, and of course tissues. The staff were very respectful, helpful, and kind to our family. They took care of everything and made sure it was done perfectly. And the museum there is one of a kind too. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

In 2018 I had my parents pre plan their funerals and it was the best thing we could have done. There was no second guessing what they would have wanted. It was so easy and in a very relaxed setting. There was absolutely no pressure and we were even able to take the information home and go over it before making any final decisions. My dad passed in January of 2020 and my mom in April of 2022. It was so comforting to know it was all planned. Toland-Herzig Funeral Home took care of every detail with so much compassion and understanding. Gently guiding us through two devastating losses. They even followed up with us at a later date to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. I would encourage anyone to contact them for their funeral or pre planning needs.

They informed us of all of the options that we had in preparing for the internment of our mom, and also for the options for the family to deal with the grieving process. My grandmother passed away from COVID in March and we couldn't have asked for a better place to take care of her remains. The staff here was so gentle and compassionate and had sincere empathy that made the proccessing and dealing with her loss a bit easier. We knew she was in good hands. In our initial consultation they really listened, helped us pick the best cremation option and took care of almost everything (such as notifying social secruity, ordering death certificates, ect) so we didn't have to deal with those important and tedious tasks while processing our grief. Anything they couldn't help with, they provided instructional phamplets on. Losing those you love is one of the hardest things you'll ever do, they'll help you take some of the burden off shoulders.

Everyone at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home has been extremely helpful and compassionate. They show they really care about your loved one and the whole family. My momma passed away March 28 2022 and they are there for you for everything from Social Security to Insurance. Anything that makes it easier for the family. I love how they text you call you to check on you to make sure you are ok. They offer grief council. I would recommend Toland-Herzig to friends and family. Toland takes care of you. I have also had my pets cremated and they treat them like family too. Thank you for being there for me and my family.

My grandmother's funeral was held at Toland Herzig and their services were absolutely perfect. They were very accommodating for what we wanted to do including video projection, music, and a keyboard for my brother to play a song. The facilities were clean, beautiful, and always had snacks, drinks, and of course tissues. The staff were very respectful, helpful, and kind to our family. They took care of everything and made sure it was done perfectly. And the museum there is one of a kind too. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

In 2018 I had my parents pre plan their funerals and it was the best thing we could have done. There was no second guessing what they would have wanted. It was so easy and in a very relaxed setting. There was absolutely no pressure and we were even able to take the information home and go over it before making any final decisions. My dad passed in January of 2020 and my mom in April of 2022. It was so comforting to know it was all planned. Toland-Herzig Funeral Home took care of every detail with so much compassion and understanding. Gently guiding us through two devastating losses. They even followed up with us at a later date to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. I would encourage anyone to contact them for their funeral or pre planning needs.

All of the staff were caring and empathetic to all of the families requests. They informed us of all of the options that we had in preparing for the internment of our mom, and also for the options for the family to deal with the grieving process. They checked on the family after the burial service to make sure we were doing ok through the grieving process. They did a wonderful job all around.

My grandmother passed away from COVID in March and we couldn't have asked for a better place to take care of her remains. The staff here was so gentle and compassionate and had sincere empathy that made the proccessing and dealing with her loss a bit easier. We knew she was in good hands. In our initial consultation they really listened, helped us pick the best cremation option and took care of almost everything (such as notifying social secruity, ordering death certificates, ect) so we didn't have to deal with those important and tedious tasks while processing our grief. Anything they couldn't help with, they provided instructional phamplets on. Losing those you love is one of the hardest things you'll ever do, they'll help you take some of the burden off shoulders.

We had the opportunity to work with John from Toland-Herzig Funeral Home when one of their community members passed away in Cleveland. These types of arrangements can be quite difficult, but John and his team were excellent. They are very organized and displayed a high level of professionalism. The community of Dover is lucky to have a funeral home like Toland-Herzig to serve them at their time of need.
