In a very difficult situation with an extended family member, Jason and Rhonda and their team were beyond exceptional! My sister passed away unexpectedly in mid January and the Strawser funeral home were amazing through the whole process. They supported our family in putting together a very nice celebration of life! With the death of a spouse, it was very difficult to move forward. The funeral director, Jason Strawser walked me through the process and what to expect. He asked appropriate questions so that he could provide the church and cemetery direction as to the type of service we wanted. He coordinated visitation and church services with our local church and also made sure the cemetery was prepared for the gravesite services. Jason called daily, just to let me know that everything was going according to plan and if I had concerns or questions.I can't express my thanks to him for his taking charge of this during a very difficult period. I would recommend Jason and Strawser Funeral Home without hesitation.

I recently called upon Strawser Funeral Home for the second time and was so happy I did. Jason was absolutely amazing from the moment he took my call. I am a funeral director in Connecticut and while he treated me with the upmost professional courtesy, he focused on my loss of a loved one, not assuming I knew the "standard procedures" since I was a funeral director as well. My recent loss was on Valentine’s Day my very best friend my brother. It has been an emotional rollercoaster. I knew I would have to find him the perfect place to be laid to rest. I talked to about 7 different funeral homes and I immediately knew none of them would be that perfect place I was looking for. Dealing with the unexpected death of a love one is very stressful. I was blown away with the exceptional service I received at Strawser & Staley. My family and I not only felt like valued customers, we felt like family. From my initial conversation on the phone with Jason, I was greeted with a warm, caring, friendly personality. It was a pleasure to work with Jason and his staff (Hayden, Thomas and Rhonda) during the planning and execution of my brother's funeral. They were professional, detailed and organized before the event but what impressed us most was their kindness and professionalism during the events. They exhibited compassion, thoughtfulness and warmth in their interactions with family and guests, helping to make the funeral events more tolerable. They did a talented job with the embalming, preserving his image and allowing for an open casket service for his young children. They coordinated with the church to make arrangements so that we did not have to worry about minor details. We highly recommend their services in your time of need.

When our Aunt Katie passed we were shocked and saddened. Our Aunt had been battling cancer but we simply thought we had more time to plan. Sadly wasn’t the case but the Strawser-Staley Funeral home in Cincinnati was a place Aunt Katie had mentioned. She gave a few mentions of how she wanted her services and burial but we really didn’t know what to do. That’s where a meeting with Jason at Strawser-Staley (Blue Ash) who accommodated her family the same day of her passing left us all feeling so much relief. We are all from out of town (2+ hours) so Jason’s willingness to help us right away was immensely helpful and appreciated. Jason helped us through the difficult process of picking out things we thought she would like that weren’t discussed previously with her answering questions and addressing our concerns. He took care of everything else via a few phone calls after so we were able to travel back home to grieve and prepare for the services. Jason worked directly with the church that our Aunt attended and planed her services with them as well as work directly with the cemetery to handle everything on that end. After our Aunt’s services he recommended a great local place to dine. Jason’s professional, attentive, open, honest and replies quickly to calls or texts. My family and I can’t thank them enough for his help, compassion and support during this difficult time.

Sadly I lost my dad Jan 27, 2021 whom was my rock, my best friend and my everything. I'm still in shock as I took care of him his last 4 yrs. My family unfortunately has buried many through the Stanley Strawser funeral home and my dad was no exception. Jason made one of the worst times of my life as "pleasant" as possible. He was available and so pleasant from the moment I called. Upon meeting Jason and his wife I felt like family and I knew I was in the best of hands! He calmed all of my fears and delt with the VA for me because I had no idea how their life insurance works. He also assured me my dad would receive the right headstone with his correct military information on it which was so important to me and my dad. By the time we left all of my fears of money and giving my dad the best of the best was taken care of, all I had to do was show up at the chapel. He was there right by my side to make sure I was ok and to make sure the cemetery, pastor and everyone did their job and did it like clockwork and as promised. Under the circumstances, It was a pleasure working with Jason at Strawser Funeral Homes and I would highly recommend them to everyone! Also his sweet wife Rhonda gave us a lovely bag filled with goodies. Thank you Jason and Rhonda!

Jason and Strawser Funeral home made a very difficult time for our family much better. Their kindness and compassion as we embarked on laying our 21 year old son to rest was exceptional. The day of our funeral was perfect. There were many family and friends in attendance and all the necessary precautions were taken during the COVID 19 pandemic to keep everyone safe. The funeral home provided masks, and sanitizing stations for anyone that did not feel comfortable being with others but wanted to pay respects to the family and say a final farewell to our son. Jason and his staff did an amazing service for my father, Kenneth Alcorn. I'm sure he was smiling from above at approval along with the family and friends there. Jason made sure that every detail was carried thru and dad looked amazing. That took the stress off the family so we could be there for our dad. We had several comments on the vault that we chose for dad, the lid had his picture on it and everyone was able to write dad a message on it before it was placed.The remodeling of the rooms have certainly brought it up to date and has the ambiance of peace throughout the property. On the one year anniversary of my father's sudden & unexpected death, I would like to thank Jason, his team, his therapy pups, & Strawser-Staley Blue Ash for the care they took with my father's service (Jason did it himself, graveside, per our request), and arrangements, to include military honors, flag & taps for his burial, as well as beautiful memory cards they designed. Strawser's in the past, going back to the late 60's, took care of my grandfather, great uncle, grandmother, sister-in-law, mother, and most recently my father. By my calculations they have taken sympathetic care of my family's needs, with great empathy, in this area for 53 years now. Highly recommend.

He was very responsive to any questions we had and made sure every last detail was addressed. When our Aunt Katie passed we were shocked and saddened. Our Aunt had been battling cancer but we simply thought we had more time to plan. Sadly wasn’t the case but the Strawser-Staley Funeral home in Cincinnati was a place Aunt Katie had mentioned. She gave a few mentions of how she wanted her services and burial but we really didn’t know what to do. That’s where a meeting with Jason at Strawser-Staley (Blue Ash) who accommodated her family the same day of her passing left us all feeling so much relief. We are all from out of town (2+ hours) so Jason’s willingness to help us right away was immensely helpful and appreciated. Jason helped us through the difficult process of picking out things we thought she would like that weren’t discussed previously with her answering questions and addressing our concerns. He took care of everything else via a few phone calls after so we were able to travel back home to grieve and prepare for the services. Jason worked directly with the church that our Aunt attended and planed her services with them as well as work directly with the cemetery to handle everything on that end. After our Aunt’s services he recommended a great local place to dine. Jason’s professional, attentive, open, honest and replies quickly to calls or texts. My family and I can’t thank them enough for his help, compassion and support during this difficult time.

Sadly I lost my dad Jan 27, 2021 whom was my rock, my best friend and my everything. I'm still in shock as I took care of him his last 4 yrs. My family unfortunately has buried many through the Stanley Strawser funeral home and my dad was no exception. Jason made one of the worst times of my life as "pleasant" as possible. He was available and so pleasant from the moment I called. Upon meeting Jason and his wife I felt like family and I knew I was in the best of hands! He calmed all of my fears and delt with the VA for me because I had no idea how their life insurance works. He also assured me my dad would receive the right headstone with his correct military information on it which was so important to me and my dad. By the time we left all of my fears of money and giving my dad the best of the best was taken care of, all I had to do was show up at the chapel. He was there right by my side to make sure I was ok and to make sure the cemetery, pastor and everyone did their job and did it like clockwork and as promised. Under the circumstances, It was a pleasure working with Jason at Strawser Funeral Homes and I would highly recommend them to everyone! Also his sweet wife Rhonda gave us a lovely bag filled with goodies. Thank you Jason and Rhonda!

When my wife passed, the last thing that I really needed was any additional complications or issues in my life and Karen at Stawser made the entire process as simple as possible. My wife and I were living in Florida, but because the majority of family and friends were in Cincinnati and her final resting place was there, she was transported to there for the funeral and cremation. Stawser worked with the funeral home in Florida seamlessly to transport her - I had to really no nothing except let them know who the funeral home was in Florida and Karen took care of it.The broad strokes of what we wanted for a service and such Karen and I worked out on the phone and the details she helped me with when I arrived in Cincinnati a few days before the service. Otherwise, Karen just took care of everything. The remembrance video that played in the room with my wife was lovely and appreciated by all, the flowers were just what the picture she showed me, and the minister that she'd arranged for, who sat down with me for a few minutes to talk about Cheryl did an exceptional job. I really could not have asked for more during a very difficult time.

Jason made sure that every detail was carried thru and dad looked amazing. That took the stress off the family so we could be there for our dad.
