I can't recommend Faithful Companion enough! Unfortunately, I recently had to make the heartbreaking decision of letting my precious guinea pig, Penny, cross the rainbow bridge. Everyone at Faithful Companion was so kind and compassionate. They were very helpful with any questions I had. Obviously, no one wants to go through this heartbreak, but I'm so pleased with the exceptional care I received from Faithful Companion. They did a fantastic job engraving the urn I selected. It looks beautiful, and it's such a beautiful memorial to my sweet girl. ❤️

It’s so hard loosing a fur baby. We had to put our 15 year old dog to sleep and decided to use Faithful Companion. Celia with Faithful Companion is a true blessing. She was very kind, compassionate, and treated our Sparky with respect. I can honestly say I feel more at peace having used their services. If you are ever in need of cremation services for your fur baby, I highly recommend them.

As a veterinarian with a mobile practice, I wish I could give Faithful Companion 6 stars. They have gone above and beyond to ensure my clients are well taken of during their time of bereavement from the loss of a pet. They are very professional, kind and patient. I can’t emphasise how pleasant it has been to work directly with them. I highly recommend this company for any pet related end of life services!

I unfortunately had to put my dog to sleep at Truss Vet in Durham. They discussed with me the services for private cremation, as well as the Faithful Companion brochure. I knew what to expect with the selected package and who would be taking care of it. The next day, I received a call to confirm the delivery logistics. I cannot recall her name, but she was very empathetic and professional. She also referred to my dog by her name. I also got a call when my Ivory was in route. The gentleman who handed her over was very empathetic as well, also professional, and stated "Sorry for your loss." I am appreciative for my vet for handling these arrangements, because I was a bit of an emotional wreck. After losing a member of the family after 9 years, I couldn't have had a better vet or business to handle her final arrangements. The urn and paw print is beautiful and we are happy to have Ivory back home. If ever you need these services, stop here. They will take care of your fur babies. You will be pleased. I appreciate all involved.

Absolutely beautiful place with amazing management and service. Celia was so caring and kind to my daughter after the sudden loss of her cat, and she explained everything that was going to happen, including the private moments of seeing her for the last time. The atmosphere was also really warm and homey. You can tell this establishment really thinks of their customer's comfort and the respect and care of their furbabies.

I unfortunately had to place my beloved Guinea Pig to sleep at my veterinarian (Middle Creek Veterinarian Hospital). It was unexpected and very emotional. My vet handled the cremation and I did not know they went through Faithful Companion at the time. The next day I got a call from Stan at Faithful Companion and he was so nice and professional. He told me Ragnar was ready, asked where I would like for them to deliver him and was compassionate to my loss. I also got a call from Celia the next day confirming delivery. I just wanted to leave a review for them and say how thankful I am for their service and kindness. It is so hard losing a pet and it’s so nice to have outstanding customer service at such a tough time. Thank you!

Celia and team were very supportive to us. We were well-guided through the process and choices available. The clay paw prints and engraved box exceeded our expectations. Late Sunday night I noticed Miley, my 12 year old pup, was breathing a little fast. Yesterday morning (monday) her breathing was better and she ate breakfast but I decided to take her to the vet later that afternoon to have her checked out. She ended up passing away suddenly at home before she could be seen by her vet and when she passed her vets office was closed for lunch from 1-2 and she passed at 1:00. I was in a panic, so I called a vet in the town I live in that I’ve never been to, Crepe Myrtle Vet in Angier. They were amazing and Faithful Companion came and picked Miley up from their office. In less than 24 hours someone from Faithful Companion called me and left me a voicemail to let me know they were taking her ashes to the vet and I could pick her up today. I wasn’t expecting she’d be back home so fast, which is wonderful! Her ashes were delivered in a beautiful box with her name engraved on top. I highly recommend this company!! I really hope it’s a long time before I ever need this service again, but when I do I will definitely be going through Faithful Companion. They are wonderful!! Thank y’all so much for your wonderful service.

Our Veterinarian Clinic advised they use Faithful Companion as a vendor. After a peaceful passing of our dog, she was transferred over to Faithful Companion. Everyone that we spoke to on the phone was very nice and extremely respectful. Less than 24 hours we had our fur baby home over looking us. Thank you Faithful Companion Team.

My elderly pup's health took a nosedive late on Friday night and by Saturday, I was looking for mobile vets and inquiring about home euthanasia. Before any of the vets I reached out to could get back to me by an actual human, my sweet Reginald had a seizure and died suddenly on Sunday. I had come across Faithful Companion during my frantic efforts to find home euthanasia and subsequent cremation services. I called them in tears--barely able to breathe minutes after my pup's death--and a woman with the sweetest, most empathetic voice immediately answered my call and gently walked me through the process. I paid over the phone and she was there to pick up my baby in less than 30 minutes on a Sunday evening in the pouring rain. She told me that most people don't like to see their pet be placed into the casket but I told her I needed to see him go. She was so respectful and kind and told me she would call when my sweet boy's ashes would be ready. Less than 24 hours later, I got a call informing me that my pup was ready to be returned to me and she gave me a window of time when he would be delivered. True to her word, he arrived in a beautifully engraved wooden box with the lovely clay pawprint stamped with my dog's name I had also requested--both of which were hand delivered to my front door. I can't thank Faithful Companion enough for the warmth and care they have shown me during this incredibly difficult time. When no one would answer my calls or responded with an auto text or an email (which I received after my dog was already gone), the wonderful people at Faithful Companion helped me in my time of need and made a horrible situation much more bearable knowing my pup was in good hands and would quickly be back home to rest. I can't thank Faithful Companion enough for their remarkable professionalism and genuine kindness and highly recommended them if you find yourself in the unfortunate circumstance of needing their services. When our beloved cat Hunter unexpectedly passed away this morning, we contacted Faithful Companion. The compassion and care with which they took care of us and our pet was just amazing. Losing a pet is never easy. It is even harder when you lose a pet at night..over the weekend. I called Faithful Companion after another local company let me down. My pet passed away and I needed someone to come and remove her remains before my child arrived back home for a sleepover.I called on a Sunday morning and the staff could not have been more accommodating. They came to help quickly and offered their condolences to my family…and asked that I relay the message to my son. They were professional, timely, and emphatic.I received a call that my pet’s paw print was ready and they would be dropping it off…and my convenience! On the day that they came, it was rainy and the person delivering it took extra care and placed it in a bag so that it would it get wet.I can’t say enough nice things about this business. I am impressed!

Celia was very comforting and supportive when scheduling for a same-day individual cremation. They unfortunately have limited private witness cremation availability but they accommodated us as much as they could to say our final goodbyes to our Kylie. I am glad that Kylie was able to be cremated on her favorite pillow with the favorite toy knowing she’ll be comfy on the Rainbow Bridge.

One of my dogs suddenly passed away on July 28.Faithful Companion were understanding and very professional. It is very obvious to me upon seeing my urn, paw print, and fur clippings that my dog was well cared for until she was returned to me. Thank you so much.

A very sad and difficult time for our family but Faithful Companions treated us and our pup with kindness & compassion. We chose a private/witness cremation and Bryant was the one who worked with us. He was very kind and treated our Missy with care and was very helpful in explaining everything to us during such a difficult situation.

I unexpectedly (I knew he was sick but it all happened so fast) had to euthanize my wonderful cat after fifteen years. Faithful companion called me the next day and said he was ready to be picked up. I was surprised at how quickly the turnaround is. Also how nice and compassionate they are. The urn comes with a nice postcard, bookmark and information about support groups. It makes a bad time in your life a little bit easier.

I'm so sorry for your loss, future reader. Losing a beloved pet is a very difficult thing to go through, and I hope you find peace in knowing they're always here with us. I lost mine just short of the holidays so... You can know you aren't alone.Personally, I was in complete shock when i woke up this morning to find my beloved rabbit had passed away. I may never know from what since he was only 4, and was perfectly healthy all these days prior. I didn't know what to do, and when i called other locations they told me they'd need to stick him in a freezer for a week before they could cremate him and I could get him back, that i couldn't be present at that time, and that I'd need to expect a call to get the ashes. The thought of leaving him somewhere after he had just suddenly died alone at night broke my heart, and i didn't want to accept that my last goodbye with him body would be in a waiting room. The kind staff at Faithful Companion made this process much smoother, they let me stay here and attend the cremation service, had a very nice place to sit with the body, and allowed me to get the ashes the same day, perfect when the unexpected happened, and when the last thing i want is to be separated from his body. I feel a great peace knowing these are his ashes and no one else's, and he was handled as I'd hope and expect until the very end. I will always be heartbroken by this sudden unexpected loss, but at least i was able to stay with his body and watch the process the entire time as i needed to for my own closure.A big thank you to Mr. Jason for the exceptional job and amazing compassion, patience, and dedication in this hard time in my family's life.

When my moms dog got very sick, I notified David, and he said they would take care of everything. All I had to do was tell him when we went to the vet. We didn’t have to do a thing, they did everything just like he said. My grandmas dog ended up getting sick at the same time and had to be taken to the vet as well. They ended up taking care of hers too without me even having to ask twice. Celia was so kind and helpful with my mom. What they did for both my mom and grandma really helped ease the whole situation. Thank you guys for doing what you do!!
