I reached out to pet pilgrimage in September of 2024 when my beloved 16 yr old friend died of fatal health issues. I have had her since 2008 and she was my everything. Losing her felt like I lost a part of myself. The employees at Pet pilgrimage were very kind, helpful and caring. They allowed a good amount of time for me time to say goodbye to her body one last time since I had driven her corpse there myself and explained the full process. I received a beautiful tree of life carved box for her ashes and her paw print forever imprinted. I also received a certificate of death, clippings of her fur along with a few other things. I am glad that I entrusted them with the process of her cremation, they did a wonderful job and I only wanted the best for my Violet. The support that they provided helped ease the discomfort of her cremation process, knowing I’ll never see her again. Their service was excellent and very friendly, showing compassion and empathy for the loss of my family member and treating the process with respect and care. I called the day of her death and was able to have her cremated the next day. I had her ashes in my possession by the end of the day

All the staff are sweet & caring souls. Even to this day they still check up on me to make sure I am well after my fur baby loss. In such circumstances they will always be my go to. When my fur baby passed away very suddenly, we took him to pet pilgrimage in Mooresville. They were very caring and took very good care of us. My pets remains we handled with care and we were given a beautiful wood box with the tree of life on it, his paw print and locks of his hair. They helped us through a very sad time. There are no words nice enough.My baby dog, McGee, was an 18 years & 1 month old, miniature, piebald dachshund. 7 1/2 pounds of attitude. To hand him to someone else, even after he passed, was emotionally difficult. “They sent an angel to my house” are the closest words to what I felt. The lady who spoke to me on the phone and the gentleman whom I met to pick McGee up were also gifted and gracious. Do not hesitate to call Pet Pilgrimage if you are in doubt or know you need their services.

We lost our beloved Cecil after 17 years. I called on Pet pilgrimage and when I say, they came through and took care of our loved one like he belonged to their family. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. They gave us a book for the 4 year old grand baby to help her understand. They texted a couple days after pickup of Cecil ashes just to check on us. The generosity and love this company and employees have for their job was beyond measure. And it showed in the services they provided. My first experience was in 2017 when I had to put down my rescued greyhound Max. Dr Tillman came to the house to save me from trying to get Max to my vet, he had bone cancer and could barely walk. The dr transported him for me and the kindness I received was beyond what I ever expected and after that I knew I would never go anywhere else. Then in 2018 I lost Bella my Italian greyhound but this time I transported her myself and they were so sympathetic that they did allow me to wait and I took her home the same day. Now this brings me to my latest visit my ❤️ dog Lacy, my dear sweet little 4 1/2 lb Chihuahua mix who had beat all odds of living to be 18 yrs old. She was on more medication than I take myself, I ended up at the emergency vet in the early morning hours on a Sunday her little heart just couldn’t do it anymore and I unfortunately had to let her go. But I knew where I was taking her, again I was met with kindness and compassion! No matter how far I have to drive this is my place

Earlier this year, me and my husband all of a sudden lost our white German shepherd. They helped us so much during that time and I couldn’t be more thankful. On the 5th of this month, my little dachshund passed away, he was 12 years old. We took him to pet pilgrimage and again they helped so much with him as well. I highly recommend pet pilgrimage to anyone who has to consider how to care for your beloved pet in such a time of loss and grief. I was absolutely wrecked when I lost my 14 1/2 year-old dog even though I thought I was prepared for it when it happened I was not prepared for the grief! Pet pilgrimage was so wonderful: they came to my home within 2 hours, and they handled everything so gracefully and with such respect. And they returned returned her remains in a beautiful carved wood urn that I was able to select along with other details. I just can’t say enough about the care and the concern that the staff had for my emotional experience, the experience of my family, and the physical remains of my most precious and beloved dog. I lost my Bella on 5-31-24. When I made the call to Pet Pilgrimage Lisa had the most calming voice and said she would be looking for us. When we arrived Lisa took us into a room and told us we had all the time we needed to say our final goodbyes. When we picked her up the staff was really compassionate and respectful. Our beloved Toohey passed away suddenly from a stroke - the emergency vet recommended a crematory that couldn’t pick our sweet Toohey up until the next day. He would have spent the night in a freezer - I couldn’t breathe at that thought. My regular vet told me about Pet Pilgrimage and I called them immediately. They picked up our sweet Tooman within 2 hours after we said goodbye to him and we had him back in our home by 6pm that evening. The crematory box was still warm when we picked him up. He came home in a stunning burlap bag along with a paw print and a swatch of his sweet smelling fur. Lisa could not have been more compassionate and professional - helping us through the entire process. She helped me select the perfect urn and transferred his ashes into his final resting place for us. I can’t say enough amazing things about this incredible organization. I hope we don’t need their services anytime soon but you had better believe I won’t call anyone else for any of my future fur babies.

Do not get your pet cremated anywhere else. Don't even risk it.I won't go into full details everything they did to go above and beyond for our sweet boy Pepe, in case it was an extenuating circumstance, but when I tell you I wouldn't have made it through my loss, nor my family, without Shawn (sp?), Mr. Cook, and Andrew? I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I was in Orlando, FL at 3pm and had my baby, his paw prints, fur clippings, and more in tow before 10. Never rushed, never pressured, never overpriced. They made me feel like I should have paid MORE.Thank you, Pet Pilgrimage. This is the service people grieving a loss deserve. 🐾🌈

I recently used their services for my sweet piggy Dumplin. The staff were extremely friendly, compassionate, patient and very kind. Dumplin was like son to me, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with how they took care of him. I received a beautiful wooden urn box, a ceramic plaque with his paw prints and name, some of his fur and seeds to plant wildflowers in his honor. I couldn’t have chosen a better place. UPDATE- Pet Pilgrimage did reach out to apologize and told me they would send me a correct pawprint and right in line with this whole experience it never arrived. It has been months. Just continue disappoint.It's taken a long time for me to write this. My son had the best experience with Pet Pilgrimage for his little girl so I didn't hesitate to call when I lost my precious Shih Tzu. My experience was the opposite. Every conversation I had was with B. And so many mistakes were made. Everything from telling me I didn't pay after giving my credit card the day I called and told her to go ahead and charge to spelling my dogs name wrong - even after she called me back 4 days later to confirm the spelling. When I ordered the urn she wrote down dates to put on it and I told her I wanted the stand. Go to pick it up- no dates on Urn, no stand and name spelled wrong on clay paw print. Another employee told me it would be 45 minutes to make a new one - my baby was already cremated so wouldn't be her paw print. Also, when my son went back to see his pup, she was in her little coffin all nicely arranged with her toys and treats for his final goodbye- I sent toys and treats and her blanket but did not receive the same benefit, she was on a stretcher so I didn't get that final last image. The whole experience left me sick - my little girl deserved better.

They were very professional with the passing of my dearest Sheba. Every detail was handled with such care and understanding. The process was very quick and they took care of all the details. It's been three weeks since we had to put my beloved god dog, Sammy, to sleep andmy heart is still breaking but Pet Pilgrimage Has been very supportive as I grieve my loss. The return of Sammy's ashes was very timely and they play in this beautiful carved box. That now sits on the Ottoman in our room next to his brother, Quentin, who is my farmer dog. I'm so fortunate that Sammy was placed in their hands..

Our Diesel passed away on August 10, 2024 at 4:30 am at almost 17 years of age. We were heartbroken and didn't know what to do next. We called Pet Pilgrimage and we're told we would get a call back soon. We received a call within 30 minutes of Diesel's passing and we're given instructions on what we needed to do. We took our precious boy to the Mooresville location and we're able to spend some time with him that morning in a quiet place. We were treated with sympathy and respect. We picked out a box for Diesel's ashes and left him in Pet Pilgrimage's care. They did the cremation and then brought his beautiful box to the Denver location for us to pick up. Diesel is now in his favorite spot in our tv room. Pet Pilgrimage did a great job. They even followed up with us in the weeks following Diesel's passing to make sure we were doing OK.

Hello everyone that may have an elderly pet or one that is terminally ill , my husband and I just lost our beautiful male Standard Poodle due to a to copperhead bite. We called on Pet Pilgrimage to help us. He was very large and too heavy for us to pick up . They came o , picked him up and Carried him off. He was cremated and we picked him up the next day, The employees were very kind and genuinely caring for our feelings . Although it was a very sad day, Pet Pilgrimage made the process easier for us . Our beloved Toohey passed away suddenly from a stroke - the emergency vet recommended a crematory that couldn’t pick our sweet Toohey up until the next day. He would have spent the night in a freezer - I couldn’t breathe at that thought. My regular vet told me about Pet Pilgrimage and I called them immediately. They picked up our sweet Tooman within 2 hours after we said goodbye to him and we had him back in our home by 6pm that evening. The crematory box was still warm when we picked him up. He came home in a stunning burlap bag along with a paw print and a swatch of his sweet smelling fur. Lisa could not have been more compassionate and professional - helping us through the entire process. She helped me select the perfect urn and transferred his ashes into his final resting place for us. I can’t say enough amazing things about this incredible organization. I hope we don’t need their services anytime soon but you had better believe I won’t call anyone else for any of my future fur babies.

Do not get your pet cremated anywhere else. Don't even risk it.I won't go into full details everything they did to go above and beyond for our sweet boy Pepe, in case it was an extenuating circumstance, but when I tell you I wouldn't have made it through my loss, nor my family, without Shawn (sp?), Mr. Cook, and Andrew? I recently used their services for my sweet piggy Dumplin. The staff were extremely friendly, compassionate, patient and very kind. Dumplin was like son to me, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with how they took care of him. We have used Pet Pilgrimage twice in the last year with our pups. We can't recommend them enough. The care and compassion they show is above and beyond what I expected. Our first baby we brought them I had called ahead (on a Holiday weekend no less) so they were aware that we were coming and they met us at the door ready to help bring her inside. With our little old man, we didn't even think of calling ahead after a tough morning and they still met us at the door ready to help us. This place made an extremely hard difficult time (putting down a 4 yr old puppy because of kidney disease) much easier because they are so patient, kind and nice to you and treat you and your baby with such respect that I felt safe leaving her in their hands. Ive never wanted to let her be alone in any of this even after she had moved on but they made me feel okay taking her from me to give her a proper service. I love that they let you send in anything you want with them…I didn't even think about it until I looked on their website and then I sent her in with her collar, leash, blankets and 4 of her favorite babies (toys). I know my little girl will be well cared for and respected and that to me if worth ANY amount of money!!

A pet crematorium is certainly one of those services that you not only hope you’ll never need, but you just don’t think about needing. Pet Pilgrimage was there for us at a most devastating time, and continues to be. We lost our pup overnight, completely unexpectedly. We were distraught and unsure of what to do. PP was so helpful, compassionate, and gentle. They were strangers and treated us like family. And they have continued to follow up with us following our pup’s passing to be sure we are healing as best we can. From the time Pet Pilgrimage arrived to pick up Duke at our home until the moment we picked him up from their Denver facility, we knew that we'd made the right choice for his final care.They were very kind and respectful and gave us private time to be with him. They explained what their timeline would be and what we should expect. They encouraged us to call if we had questions. They really did make our grieving process easier to bear. The cremains box is beautiful and the extras such as his paw print and hair clippings are amazingly thoughtful gifts.I didn't expect Pet Pilgrimage to follow up with us to see how we were doing after we'd picked Duke up, but they did-twice. We've had other pets cremated and never has anyone reached out to us later to see how we are holding up. I am truly touched at the loving care they gave us during our tough time.I highly recommend Pet Pilgrimage to anyone who has final decisions such as these to be made. There's never a good way to lose a pet but they make the pain hurt as little and gently as they possibly can.

UPDATE- Pet Pilgrimage did reach out to apologize and told me they would send me a correct pawprint and right in line with this whole experience it never arrived. It has been months. Just continue disappoint.It's taken a long time for me to write this. My son had the best experience with Pet Pilgrimage for his little girl so I didn't hesitate to call when I lost my precious Shih Tzu. My experience was the opposite. Every conversation I had was with B. And so many mistakes were made. Everything from telling me I didn't pay after giving my credit card the day I called and told her to go ahead and charge to spelling my dogs name wrong - even after she called me back 4 days later to confirm the spelling. When I ordered the urn she wrote down dates to put on it and I told her I wanted the stand. Go to pick it up- no dates on Urn, no stand and name spelled wrong on clay paw print. Another employee told me it would be 45 minutes to make a new one - my baby was already cremated so wouldn't be her paw print. Also, when my son went back to see his pup, she was in her little coffin all nicely arranged with her toys and treats for his final goodbye- I sent toys and treats and her blanket but did not receive the same benefit, she was on a stretcher so I didn't get that final last image. The whole experience left me sick - my little girl deserved better.

Our Diesel passed away on August 10, 2024 at 4:30 am at almost 17 years of age. We were heartbroken and didn't know what to do next. We called Pet Pilgrimage and we're told we would get a call back soon. We received a call within 30 minutes of Diesel's passing and we're given instructions on what we needed to do. We took our precious boy to the Mooresville location and we're able to spend some time with him that morning in a quiet place. We were treated with sympathy and respect. We picked out a box for Diesel's ashes and left him in Pet Pilgrimage's care. They did the cremation and then brought his beautiful box to the Denver location for us to pick up. Diesel is now in his favorite spot in our tv room. Pet Pilgrimage did a great job. They even followed up with us in the weeks following Diesel's passing to make sure we were doing OK.

Hello everyone that may have an elderly pet or one that is terminally ill , my husband and I just lost our beautiful male Standard Poodle due to a to copperhead bite. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Pet Pilgrimage. We discovered them in a time of need when our loyal and loving pet was very ill. We knew his time was coming as he struggled with arthritis and skin allergies for many years. We knew we had to make the humane choice to free him of his pain and when he started having seizures over a weekend and we couldn’t have our regular vet euthanize him, I researched veterinarian home euthanasia and Pet Pilgrimage was one of the first groups that popped up in my search. After speaking with them, I felt very reassured that they would do everything they could to help us with our loving Sheffield. Dr. Tillman came to our aid on a Sunday afternoon and helped us say goodbye to our baby Sheffield in the most comforting and dignified manor we’ve ever experienced all in the comfort of our own home. He is the most caring doctor with a gentle and comforting demeanor who knew all the right things to say and do for our Sheffield and us. We wouldn’t choose any other way to help our furry family members move over that rainbow bridge when their time comes. I’m sure there are other wonderful groups that provide this type of service, but the help we received from Pet Pilgrimage was extraordinary and we would highly recommend them to anyone who might be needing the same care for their family pets. I recently had to euthanize my 20 year old cat shady in the middle of the night as I did not want him to suffer. I called pet pilgrimage before and after shady being euthanized and the person I spoke to was so helpful (I'm sorry I forgot names) he came right out and met me and took care of what I needed. The hardest part of being a pet parent is knowing that you will have to say goodbye one day. My experience with Pet Pilgrimage - they were respectful and kind. I called the day before to make arrangements and they explained my options and answered all of questions. When I brought my dog to them for cremation they spent time going over everything that would happen next and allowed me as much time as I needed to say goodbye. I got him home within days. I’m always a total wreck when I call them and they are so patient and understanding. Let me just start by saying that if it weren’t for Pet Pilgrimage I don’t know how I would have gotten through the loss of my fur babies. We first used them July 4th weekend 2017 when we lost our 17year old yorkie. Pet pilgrimage stayed open late so that I could get my baby back home same day. Fast forward almost exactly 1 year later and we suddenly lost our 12 year old pitbull pointer mix about 1am. They not only have a 24 hour service were you actually get to speak to someone, they came out at 2:00am and picked our baby up, so that her two other siblings, mommy and daddy could start our grieving process. They are so very respectful in the way that they handle matters. They placed her on a gurney, strapped her in tight, and placed a beautiful blanket over her that had dogs in what looked like heaven. We were given the opportunity to respectfully say our goodbyes. Even though it was now 2:30am they were in no rush to leave, and were completely respectful and understanding. Everything is handled onsite so the very next day we went to pick up our baby girl. She was placed in a beautifully engraved wooden box, with a mold of her paw print (that is forever kept on file), a copy of the rainbow bridge poem, a locket of her hair, small seeded pad to plant something in remembrance of her, among other helpful pamphlets for grief, and grief groups if needed. The people that work at Pet Pilgrimage are truly angels placed here to help comfort us in a time of need. Everyone is so very sweet and always ready to lend a ear to a grieving family. I also really love that they have mascot dogs onsite that were local rescues. In my personal experiences having the rescues there to pet and hold helped me have a since of peace. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pet Pilgrimage and their staff. I have used them 3 times, most recently in May 2023. This experience was no different than the first two and I have never been disappointed. The care and compassion that they show when someone is grieving for a pet is amazing. This time I had to use their after hours service. The gentleman John who greeted me upon arrival around 8:30 PM was so kind and patient with me as I had to say goodbye to my sweet kitty Isabella. Kaylee and Elizabeth also were so wonderful. Within 2 days I was able to bring Izzy home and I even received a follow up text message asking how I was and if there was anything else that I needed.This service is much needed for grieving families who have lost a pet and the folks at Pet Pilgrimage are greatly appreciated. We rescued Daisy 5 years ago from people who could no longer care for her. Though at first she didn’t like our other dogs eventually she warmed up to them. For some reason Daisy was very special to me and I know I was to her. When it came time that she was suffering and we had her put to sleep the only place I trusted to care for her as we did was Pet Pilgrimage. They even let us bring Davidson by so she could say goodbye to her little playmate.

I unexpectedly lost my dog a few months ago and I can’t speak more highly of the experience I had at Pet Pilgrimage. The entire staff was genuinely kind and empathetic during the process. They truly went above and beyond during the entire process and made me feel as if I was the only person who had ever lost a pet. When I came to pick up my sweet pups remains, I was pleasantly surprised at how genuinely kind each member of the staff was. Specifically Becky, who truly was an angel during the entire process and helped me cope more than she probably realized. We have used Pet Pilgrimage twice in the last year with our pups. We can't recommend them enough. The care and compassion they show is above and beyond what I expected. Our first baby we brought them I had called ahead (on a Holiday weekend no less) so they were aware that we were coming and they met us at the door ready to help bring her inside. With our little old man, we didn't even think of calling ahead after a tough morning and they still met us at the door ready to help us. With both our babies, they were able to have them ready for us to bring them home in a very short time.

I have never thought ahead to the day that my four leg furry baby would not be here with me. My lovely Sophie passed away on April 17 in my arms.The care and compassion shown was absolutely wonderful during an extremely hard time. I miss her every day but when I think back I have nothing but good memories and I know she was treated with kind and respect. This place made an extremely hard difficult time (putting down a 4 yr old puppy because of kidney disease) much easier because they are so patient, kind and nice to you and treat you and your baby with such respect that I felt safe leaving her in their hands. Ive never wanted to let her be alone in any of this even after she had moved on but they made me feel okay taking her from me to give her a proper service. I love that they let you send in anything you want with them…I didn't even think about it until I looked on their website and then I sent her in with her collar, leash, blankets and 4 of her favorite babies (toys). I know my little girl will be well cared for and respected and that to me if worth ANY amount of money!!

A pet crematorium is certainly one of those services that you not only hope you’ll never need, but you just don’t think about needing. Pet Pilgrimage was there for us at a most devastating time, and continues to be. We lost our pup overnight, completely unexpectedly. We were distraught and unsure of what to do. PP was so helpful, compassionate, and gentle. They were strangers and treated us like family. And they have continued to follow up with us following our pup’s passing to be sure we are healing as best we can. From the time Pet Pilgrimage arrived to pick up Duke at our home until the moment we picked him up from their Denver facility, we knew that we'd made the right choice for his final care.They were very kind and respectful and gave us private time to be with him. They explained what their timeline would be and what we should expect. They encouraged us to call if we had questions. They really did make our grieving process easier to bear. The cremains box is beautiful and the extras such as his paw print and hair clippings are amazingly thoughtful gifts.I didn't expect Pet Pilgrimage to follow up with us to see how we were doing after we'd picked Duke up, but they did-twice. We've had other pets cremated and never has anyone reached out to us later to see how we are holding up. I am truly touched at the loving care they gave us during our tough time.I highly recommend Pet Pilgrimage to anyone who has final decisions such as these to be made. There's never a good way to lose a pet but they make the pain hurt as little and gently as they possibly can.

The empathy they have for their customers goes unmatched. I could immediately feel in their voice on the phone that they really care. Pet Pilgrimage went above & beyond when my family and I lost my pup Lucky last month. I can’t begin to describe their kindness, attentiveness, compassion, thoughtfulness, and generosity. I don’t use those words lightly.For the benefit of other pet parents, I’d like to share how they immediately responded to my phone call inquiry about cremation at 1am because Lucky passed away shortly after midnight at my home on a Friday night. They assured us that they could hold his body overnight on Saturday so we can all gather on Sunday at their funeral parlor.They have a beautiful place adjacent to Cavin Cook Funeral Home. The room was beautifully decorated with dog and cat paintings, pillows, blankets, and other ornaments. My family and I sat and gathered around Lucky to say our last goodbyes.They said we could take the time that we needed, and that helped me get closure. Crying and sharing stories about my 16-year-old Lucky’s life in that room really helped my grieving process.We got a beautiful urn for Lucky’s ashes that we could put his pictures on the sides. Pet Pilgrimage also called me a couple of weeks later to see how I was doing.I’m just so touched and feel so lucky to have found such wonderfully sensitive people who not only took care of Lucky’s cremation but also foreknew what we needed as we grieved his loss.I wish more people knew about a place like this for when it’s time to say goodbye to their fur baby. I heard about it through my sister who learned about it through her work with hospice. Please pass the word on because they make a heartbreaking experience less painful. God bless!

My whole experience with Pet Pilgrimage has been flawless. We made the difficult decision to put down our sweet dog one evening. We were able to contact them and schedule them to come and pick up our dog from our house the next day. I really appreciated that they carried her out on a stretcher and wrapped her in a beautiful angel blanket. It made me feel like they treated her like our family member.Their prices were fair and gave us so much than just her ashes. We couldn’t have ask for more support, concern, professionalism at this very raw & painful time with the loss of our family dog. Sully was at least 16 years old and had a great life but that ended the day we met Pet Pilgrimage. He was treated like the king he had been, we were given time to say our goodbyes. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Pet Pilgrimage. We discovered them in a time of need when our loyal and loving pet was very ill. We knew his time was coming as he struggled with arthritis and skin allergies for many years. We knew we had to make the humane choice to free him of his pain and when he started having seizures over a weekend and we couldn’t have our regular vet euthanize him, I researched veterinarian home euthanasia and Pet Pilgrimage was one of the first groups that popped up in my search. After speaking with them, I felt very reassured that they would do everything they could to help us with our loving Sheffield. Dr. Tillman came to our aid on a Sunday afternoon and helped us say goodbye to our baby Sheffield in the most comforting and dignified manor we’ve ever experienced all in the comfort of our own home. He is the most caring doctor with a gentle and comforting demeanor who knew all the right things to say and do for our Sheffield and us. We wouldn’t choose any other way to help our furry family members move over that rainbow bridge when their time comes. I’m sure there are other wonderful groups that provide this type of service, but the help we received from Pet Pilgrimage was extraordinary and we would highly recommend them to anyone who might be needing the same care for their family pets. I recently had to euthanize my 20 year old cat shady in the middle of the night as I did not want him to suffer. I called pet pilgrimage before and after shady being euthanized and the person I spoke to was so helpful (I'm sorry I forgot names) he came right out and met me and took care of what I needed. Not only was he professional but very compassionate, you can tell the people who work here love what they do and have such a deep understanding of how we as pet owners feel during our time of need. The hardest part of being a pet parent is knowing that you will have to say goodbye one day. My experience with Pet Pilgrimage - they were respectful and kind. I called the day before to make arrangements and they explained my options and answered all of questions. When I brought my dog to them for cremation they spent time going over everything that would happen next and allowed me as much time as I needed to say goodbye. I got him home within days. They made a difficult process as easy as it could be.

My cat of 22 years recently past away that I've had since I was a small boy pasted away peacefully at home in my arms. It was comforting to know I was able to quickly work with Pet Pilgrimage to find a nearby facility to have her cremated. They know that people are often grieving after the lost of their beloved pet and wanted to give their pets the best service possible. They didn't charge us a lot but we received more then any other service that were available to is could for at half the price!I received lots of support from them as well as they were pretty flexible with the ability work with me. What a blessing to have such a caring place to take care of our beloved pets when their time with us comes to an end.My husband & I have had to use the services of Pet Pilgrimage too many times, but we are thankful it is available! We have rescued many dogs & cats, over the years, and have inherited several dogs from our loved ones that have passed away, unable to let these precious members of our extended family go anywhere that we wouldn't know that they were being properly cared for. Most of our pets have lived with us between 10 to 18 years . We have loved and been blessed to have had each and every one of them.That being said, once Pet Pilgrimage opened and we had the need, we began to use them to take care of our four footers final needs. My husband and I, and of course our four footers, have always been treated with respect and Pet Pilgrimage has always helped with any requests that we have. I ordered a vial of my husbands beloved min pin's ashes, that I had to put down when he was very sick and couldn't be with us at her end, so that he could always have a part of her with him.While heartbroken, I have always felt at peace when I left our four footers at Pet Pilgrimage, knowing that they were in good hands.

From over the phone communication to the gentlemen that came to transport our Petey to the cremation and keepsakes, they were outstanding. We have used their services 4 times now and wouldn’t dream of using anyone else. It’s so nice to be able to call them and they take it from there. I’m always a total wreck when I call them and they are so patient and understanding. They are quick to return your baby back to you and I will always treasure the paw print, fur clipping and beautiful wood urn. My vet used another service out of town and I chose Pet Pilgrimage again because I knew they would come quickly and called me when they had her. Let me just start by saying that if it weren’t for Pet Pilgrimage I don’t know how I would have gotten through the loss of my fur babies. We first used them July 4th weekend 2017 when we lost our 17year old yorkie. Pet pilgrimage stayed open late so that I could get my baby back home same day. Fast forward almost exactly 1 year later and we suddenly lost our 12 year old pitbull pointer mix about 1am. They not only have a 24 hour service were you actually get to speak to someone, they came out at 2:00am and picked our baby up, so that her two other siblings, mommy and daddy could start our grieving process. They are so very respectful in the way that they handle matters. They placed her on a gurney, strapped her in tight, and placed a beautiful blanket over her that had dogs in what looked like heaven. We were given the opportunity to respectfully say our goodbyes. Even though it was now 2:30am they were in no rush to leave, and were completely respectful and understanding. Everything is handled onsite so the very next day we went to pick up our baby girl. She was placed in a beautifully engraved wooden box, with a mold of her paw print (that is forever kept on file), a copy of the rainbow bridge poem, a locket of her hair, small seeded pad to plant something in remembrance of her, among other helpful pamphlets for grief, and grief groups if needed. The people that work at Pet Pilgrimage are truly angels placed here to help comfort us in a time of need. Everyone is so very sweet and always ready to lend a ear to a grieving family. I also really love that they have mascot dogs onsite that were local rescues. In my personal experiences having the rescues there to pet and hold helped me have a since of peace. I would highly recommend Pet Pilgrimage to anyone I know, they are truly the very best!!

Whenever I'd drive past Pet Pilgrimage (Denver location), I'd smirk and think "wow-who would really need that?"...until I needed them; and when I did, they were amazing.I first encountered Pet Pilgrimage (PP) through my vet last year, when I had to put down my beloved lab Rocky due to cancer. We were at the vet's office, and it was unexpectedly sudden, so I really didn't know what to do. My vet told me she would call PP, and they would take care of everything and contact me. I didn't even have to pay them until I picked up Rocky's remains the next day.Since I had no idea what to expect, I was quite surprised at how warm, kind and compassionate the staff were when I did in. They handed me a lovely rainbow bag with Rocky's cremated remains sealed in a wooden box, as well as a clipping of his fur and a casted plaster paw impression. Everything was well presented and a lovely way to remember my beloved pet.Fast forward to this summer, when tragedy stuck a second time, and our incredibly loved, cherished Bernese Mt Dog Apollo was also struck with cancer (different from Rocky's so not related). This dog was everyone's favorite, including the UPS driver. So when he passed at home, it was so comforting to be able to call PP on a Sunday afternoon to come take our beloved boy. They came within the hour and put Apollo carefully on a gurney, and covered him with a lovely blanket. They were so kind and compassionate at a very difficult time.Now don't get me wrong, I wouldn't use this service for all my pets, nor for every dog we've had, but knowing they're available 24/7 for those difficult times when it's THE BEST dog ever is very, very comforting.

I moved here with 10 catsOver the years I have had to have four put to sleep either from sickness or old age . Every time I took them to pet pilgrimage in MooresvilleThey were beyond wonderful with their sympathy and understanding and kind words. They took great care of my furbabies and treated them with care and respect. They returned their ashes in beautiful boxes with written tributes. I could not recommend Pet Pilgrimage more. We have used their services for two of our family dogs, and will never use anyone else if we can help it! When I called to schedule pick up, they were empathetic, calming and patient while I had to take a moment to cry and collect myself. I cannot boast enough about how amazing the staff are at Pet Pilgrimage. If you are like me, your pets are family and you would do anything for them. Unfortunately my sweet baby boy, Killian, crossed the rainbow bridge on September 3rd of this year. To say my family and I were devastated would be an understatement. Staff at Pet Pilgrimage were not only professional but also compassionate. They came to my veterinary hospital and placed my sweet Killian on a gurney and covered him with an Angel blanket. They then transported him from my vet to their location where they got a fur clipping, a clay paw print, and inklings of his nose and paws (for tattoo purposes) before the cremation so that we could still have a piece of him. After the cremation, they put him in a beautiful wooden box and called us for pick up. My husband, daughter and I went to pick him up and the facility itself was breathtaking. They have individual rooms in which staff come to talk with you and help you through the grieving process. Of course I wish I could have my sweet baby boy back but Pet Pilgrimage made this despairing event not only bearable but also gave us peace. We are so thankful for their benevolence and support through this entire process.

When the time came to let our almost 14 year old female lab go, we asked her vet since we brought her home as a puppy, West Shore Animal Hospital in Denver, to assist in a painfree, gentle & peaceful ending in our vehiicle. We then drove her directly to the Mooresville location of Pet Pilgrimage where we could not have asked for a better place for final goodbyes & cremation. Losing her was one of the most difficult losses we have ever experienced, but we were so grateful for the time with her in the family room there and their gentle compassion... and they were able to take care of the private cremation there quickly and we now have her ashes, paw print & lock of hair.

The empathy they have for their customers goes unmatched. I could immediately feel in their voice on the phone that they really care. Pet Pilgrimage went above & beyond when my family and I lost my pup Lucky last month. I can’t begin to describe their kindness, attentiveness, compassion, thoughtfulness, and generosity. I don’t use those words lightly.For the benefit of other pet parents, I’d like to share how they immediately responded to my phone call inquiry about cremation at 1am because Lucky passed away shortly after midnight at my home on a Friday night. They assured us that they could hold his body overnight on Saturday so we can all gather on Sunday at their funeral parlor.They have a beautiful place adjacent to Cavin Cook Funeral Home. The room was beautifully decorated with dog and cat paintings, pillows, blankets, and other ornaments. My family and I sat and gathered around Lucky to say our last goodbyes.They said we could take the time that we needed, and that helped me get closure. Crying and sharing stories about my 16-year-old Lucky’s life in that room really helped my grieving process.We got a beautiful urn for Lucky’s ashes that we could put his pictures on the sides. Pet Pilgrimage also called me a couple of weeks later to see how I was doing.I’m just so touched and feel so lucky to have found such wonderfully sensitive people who not only took care of Lucky’s cremation but also foreknew what we needed as we grieved his loss.I wish more people knew about a place like this for when it’s time to say goodbye to their fur baby. I heard about it through my sister who learned about it through her work with hospice. Please pass the word on because they make a heartbreaking experience less painful. God bless!

My whole experience with Pet Pilgrimage has been flawless. We made the difficult decision to put down our sweet dog one evening. We were able to contact them and schedule them to come and pick up our dog from our house the next day. I really appreciated that they carried her out on a stretcher and wrapped her in a beautiful angel blanket. Having many fur babies over the years, I've had a few that passed away cremated here. Every time, without exception, their staff have been incredibly caring, patient and accommodating. You don't even need an appointment to bring your baby to them during business hours. They treat your babies carefully and treat you with compassion. This year has been a tough one with the loss of two of our fur babies. Pet Pilgrimage has been such a blessing with both of our dogs. The first dog was picked up from the the veterinary hospital, which was helpful since she passed away late that night. Our second dog we brought in after we had him euthanized. Both times the compassion and care that was shown by the staff was amazing. We know our dogs were in great hands, and we were also comforted through all our tears. My cat of 22 years recently past away that I've had since I was a small boy pasted away peacefully at home in my arms. It was comforting to know I was able to quickly work with Pet Pilgrimage to find a nearby facility to have her cremated. What a blessing to have such a caring place to take care of our beloved pets when their time with us comes to an end.My husband & I have had to use the services of Pet Pilgrimage too many times, but we are thankful it is available! We have rescued many dogs & cats, over the years, and have inherited several dogs from our loved ones that have passed away, unable to let these precious members of our extended family go anywhere that we wouldn't know that they were being properly cared for. Most of our pets have lived with us between 10 to 18 years . We have loved and been blessed to have had each and every one of them.That being said, once Pet Pilgrimage opened and we had the need, we began to use them to take care of our four footers final needs. My husband and I, and of course our four footers, have always been treated with respect and Pet Pilgrimage has always helped with any requests that we have. I ordered a vial of my husbands beloved min pin's ashes, that I had to put down when he was very sick and couldn't be with us at her end, so that he could always have a part of her with him.While heartbroken, I have always felt at peace when I left our four footers at Pet Pilgrimage, knowing that they were in good hands.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Absolutely a great establishment with such caring workers. Obviously saying good bye to your pet is hard enough but the workers here really take their time and let you have your moments. They even texted me checking in on my grieving process when they could have treated me like just another customer but they didn’t and that means the entire world to me. They got my baby back to me in a timely manner and the take home bag was nicely prepared and organized and even had a little flower seed you could burry to remember your fur baby.

We had used Pet Pilgrimage back in 2018 when our Stormie kitty passed, so it was a no brainer to use them again when we had to say goodbye to our Bailey. They have such great care and compassion for families who are grieving the loss of their fur family. I highly recommend them to anyone who chooses cremation for their pet. I cannot speak highly enough of how wonderful the staff is. They even reached out to me much later to check to see how I was doing and to tell me they were thinking of me. That meant a lot to me!!!! They are very reasonably priced and you get a beautiful wooden box urn, paw prints, fur, whiskers and a piece of their favorite blanket or whatever you choose cut out in the shape of a heart. These items are perfect for a shadow box or other ways you want to remember your beloved fur baby. You also receive a certificate of cremation, seeds to plant in their memory and a beautiful canvas rainbow bag that everything comes in. I will continue to use Pet Pilgrimage in the future when it comes time for our other fur babies to cross the rainbow bridge. 100% recommend!!!!

The staff at Pet Pilgrimage were very caring and professional during a very difficult loss of our beloved family member Stone. Stone was our 190 lb English Mastiff. He was the kindest and gentlest soul any dog I ever have known. He was my boy. The good folks at Pet Pilgrimage came to our house to pick him up after we had to put him asleep because of serious health problems. During the entire process, they went above and beyond to make the difficult and heartbreaking process as easy as humanly possible. They even checked back with me a couple of weeks afterwards to see how I was doing. For this I am eternally grateful. Although the mourning process continues to this day, Pet Pilgrimage made it possible to have some closure knowing that he was in good hands to the end of his physical time on this earth. I cannot boast enough about how amazing the staff are at Pet Pilgrimage. If you are like me, your pets are family and you would do anything for them. Unfortunately my sweet baby boy, Killian, crossed the rainbow bridge on September 3rd of this year. To say my family and I were devastated would be an understatement. Staff at Pet Pilgrimage were not only professional but also compassionate. They came to my veterinary hospital and placed my sweet Killian on a gurney and covered him with an Angel blanket. They then transported him from my vet to their location where they got a fur clipping, a clay paw print, and inklings of his nose and paws (for tattoo purposes) before the cremation so that we could still have a piece of him. After the cremation, they put him in a beautiful wooden box and called us for pick up. My husband, daughter and I went to pick him up and the facility itself was breathtaking. They have individual rooms in which staff come to talk with you and help you through the grieving process. Of course I wish I could have my sweet baby boy back but Pet Pilgrimage made this despairing event not only bearable but also gave us peace. We are so thankful for their benevolence and support through this entire process.

When the time came to let our almost 14 year old female lab go, we asked her vet since we brought her home as a puppy, West Shore Animal Hospital in Denver, to assist in a painfree, gentle & peaceful ending in our vehiicle. We then drove her directly to the Mooresville location of Pet Pilgrimage where we could not have asked for a better place for final goodbyes & cremation. Losing her was one of the most difficult losses we have ever experienced, but we were so grateful for the time with her in the family room there and their gentle compassion... and they were able to take care of the private cremation there quickly and we now have her ashes, paw print & lock of hair.

I have had the unfortunate need to use Pet Pilgrimage twice in the last year. I cannot say enough great things about their services. When my big boy, Winston, passed they came and picked him up and took him away with such dignity. They told me to allow a day or two for him to be ready to pick up and surprisingly he was ready within less than 10 hours. Most recently, we used Davis Mobile Vet for an at home euthanasia for our old girl, Mattie, and he took her into his care and delivered her to Pet Pilgrimage. He assured me that was the only crematory he fully trusted with everyone’s animals. Again, they said to expect a day or two, and Mattie was returned to me the next morning! As hard of a situation as it is to lose a pet, it sure makes it much more bearable knowing your pets are treated with dignity and loved by the people of Pet Pilgrimage. I will forever be thankful for this service and the kindness of everyone I have dealt with here.

I can't say enough about the care and compassion that the staff at Pet Pilgrimage. I was not prepared to lose my best friend, it all happened so fast I did not think I would be saying goodbye to Crash when I brought him in for observation that day. Through all the whirlwind of emotions the folks at Pet Pilgrimage were so kind and gentle with their process of talking me through everything. They picked him up, and the very next day I received his ashes in a lovely box, his foot print, a lock of hair and some wild flower seeds to plant. They have a website where you can go and talk about your grief with others. I was also surprised at how affordable it was. While I am still grieving my Crash, I'm comforted to know when the time comes for my 19 year old cat, he will be treated with love and respect.

I would recommend using Pet Pilgrimage Crematory in Mooresville for your sweet pet. Davidson Whole Pet Veterinary Hospital uses them. That’s how we started using Pet Pilgrimage. Our sweet Gracie had a stroke during New Years weekend. She passed at the Emergency Hospital. My first call was to PPC. They were so kind and compassionate. They would pick her up and take care of her.We went to their office in Mooreville. We were impressed with all the options and keepsakes to honor your beloved pet.I can truly say, we love and miss out animals. You can not ask for better people to take care of your pets final details than Pet Pilgrimage. The care they give is unbelievable. Within 48 hours from picking pebbles up they called and had her ready for us to pick up. In a nice rainbow bridge burlap bag was her ashes (which came in a beautiful mahogany box) along with a certificate of cremation, a plaster of her paw print, and some of her fur clippings. They also gave us a heart shape flower seed mat to plant and grow flowers in her memory. So special.

Pet Pilgrimage is phenomenal. I cannot say enough great things about everyone at Pet Pilgrimage. They came to get our Pee Dee after he said goodbye to us. Compassionate and caring, they offered the best service we could ask for in a difficult time. I can honestly say that they made this time easier for us.We brought our kids to see Pee Dee at their location. This was their suggestion when I said I wanted closure for the kids (who were at preschool at the time). They had him partially covered with an angel blanket. He looked so peaceful. We were able to take our time, talk with the kids...they even had a pet grief workbook and crayons for them. Their staff was great with us and the kids.The cremation was done quickly, and we had him back in just over 24 hours. These people truly love pets and their owners.

Having many fur babies over the years, I've had a few that passed away cremated here. Every time, without exception, their staff have been incredibly caring, patient and accommodating. You don't even need an appointment to bring your baby to them during business hours. They treat your babies carefully and treat you with compassion. This year has been a tough one with the loss of two of our fur babies. Pet Pilgrimage has been such a blessing with both of our dogs. The first dog was picked up from the the veterinary hospital, which was helpful since she passed away late that night. Our second dog we brought in after we had him euthanized. Both times the compassion and care that was shown by the staff was amazing. We know our dogs were in great hands, and we were also comforted through all our tears. Outstanding service to say the least!My very special girl, Abbey, passed over the rainbow bridge, in her sleep, on February 5th, 2023. As a register nurse, I know the loss of a loved one is very personal. Everyone grieves in their own way. Pilgrimage allowed me to do so without judgement and with care and concern. Everything went smoothly. Right down to remembering the one request I had……to return her blanket to me. They provided so many wonderful things a paw print casting, hair clippings, made prints of her nose and paw for use on memorial mementoes. I chose to have Abbey’s prints tattooed near my heart where she will always be. I was also able to make a shadow box with the other items. My husband lost his service dog Thanksgiving Day. Her name was Georgia we had her since she was a puppy. She passed very suddenly and it devastated the family she was truthfully the heart and soul of our family. I called pet pilgrimage and even on Thanksgiving there was someone that I was able to talk to and they were so concerned oh how they could help me. With much love and understanding they were telling me we were too far of a distance in order for them to do anything however if I was willing to drive to them they would be more than happy to help me give my husband service dog the proper funeral. Roslyn was wonderful. I managed to do my grieving while my husband slept the night before. He was still grieving the day that we drove her up there and we were 3 hours away. This company was definitely worth driving up there for. They treated our Georgia with the utmost care, dignity as well as respect and they could definitely sympathize with what we were going through. They even offered to have little momentos that we could have such as an ornament with her paw prints and even some of her fur that we enclosed into a Christmas ball. They also provided a beautiful hand-carved wooden box of the tree of Life that was beautiful and it really pertain to our religion. They were also wonderful about getting a plaque made for her box as well as a necklace in order to contain some of her ashes for my husband that way she would always be with him wherever he went. That has meant the world to him and has given him strength. Without all of the little momentos that they offered and the extra things they do he probably wouldn't have made it through Christmas. She's been gone a month and the family still is broken. However we are slowly healing and the best thing that I love about pet pilgrimage is they don't just stop after everything is done. They actually text you or call you and ask how you're doing and remind you that they're still thinking of you and your pet which means the world to us. I would definitely recommend pet pilgrimage to everyone. I don't care if they're five or six hours away. This is the only place I would ever recommend taking your family pet or your service dog. If your dog means the world to you and is truthfully a part of your family this is where you would want to take them because they are treated just like family and I can't tell you how much that means nowadays she was not treated as a number or as just a body she was actually treated as the heart of our family. I couldn't have asked for any better

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. Absolutely a great establishment with such caring workers. Obviously saying good bye to your pet is hard enough but the workers here really take their time and let you have your moments. They even texted me checking in on my grieving process when they could have treated me like just another customer but they didn’t and that means the entire world to me. They got my baby back to me in a timely manner and the take home bag was nicely prepared and organized and even had a little flower seed you could burry to remember your fur baby.

We had used Pet Pilgrimage back in 2018 when our Stormie kitty passed, so it was a no brainer to use them again when we had to say goodbye to our Bailey. They have such great care and compassion for families who are grieving the loss of their fur family. I highly recommend them to anyone who chooses cremation for their pet. I cannot speak highly enough of how wonderful the staff is. They even reached out to me much later to check to see how I was doing and to tell me they were thinking of me. That meant a lot to me!!!! They are very reasonably priced and you get a beautiful wooden box urn, paw prints, fur, whiskers and a piece of their favorite blanket or whatever you choose cut out in the shape of a heart. These items are perfect for a shadow box or other ways you want to remember your beloved fur baby. You also receive a certificate of cremation, seeds to plant in their memory and a beautiful canvas rainbow bag that everything comes in. I will continue to use Pet Pilgrimage in the future when it comes time for our other fur babies to cross the rainbow bridge. 100% recommend!!!!

The staff at Pet Pilgrimage were very caring and professional during a very difficult loss of our beloved family member Stone. Stone was our 190 lb English Mastiff. He was the kindest and gentlest soul any dog I ever have known. He was my boy. The good folks at Pet Pilgrimage came to our house to pick him up after we had to put him asleep because of serious health problems. During the entire process, they went above and beyond to make the difficult and heartbreaking process as easy as humanly possible. They even checked back with me a couple of weeks afterwards to see how I was doing. For this I am eternally grateful. Although the mourning process continues to this day, Pet Pilgrimage made it possible to have some closure knowing that he was in good hands to the end of his physical time on this earth. We Lost our Daisy Mae on Christmas Morning 12-25-21@ 5am she went to Heaven. She was 15 years old and she came to us as a rescue when she was 5 yrs old. She brought us such joy and unconditional Love . When we called Pet Pilgrimage early that morning. Dante met us there. It was my last loving thing to do for her was to take her where she would be laid to rest after her passing! She was able to come back home to her house and now she is our guardian Fur Angel. I’ve never met a more compassionate staff. Unfortunately we have dealt with four pet losses in the past few years. Each one of them was taken care of by pet pilgrimage. So let’s just say I’ve gotten to know everyone over there pretty well. Of course they were extremely compassionate about us losing our 12 year old dog. I would recommend using Pet Pilgrimage Crematory in Mooresville for your sweet pet. Davidson Whole Pet Veterinary Hospital uses them. That’s how we started using Pet Pilgrimage. Our sweet Gracie had a stroke during New Years weekend. She passed at the Emergency Hospital. My first call was to PPC. They were so kind and compassionate. They would pick her up and take care of her.We went to their office in Mooreville. We were impressed with all the options and keepsakes to honor your beloved pet.I can truly say, we love and miss out animals. However, we are comforted by having Pet Pilgrimage take care of them at the end of life.Becky

You can not ask for better people to take care of your pets final details than Pet Pilgrimage. The care they give is unbelievable. Within 48 hours from picking pebbles up they called and had her ready for us to pick up. In a nice rainbow bridge burlap bag was her ashes (which came in a beautiful mahogany box) along with a certificate of cremation, a plaster of her paw print, and some of her fur clippings. They also gave us a heart shape flower seed mat to plant and grow flowers in her memory. So special.

Pet Pilgrimage is phenomenal. I cannot say enough great things about everyone at Pet Pilgrimage. They came to get our Pee Dee after he said goodbye to us. Compassionate and caring, they offered the best service we could ask for in a difficult time. I can honestly say that they made this time easier for us.We brought our kids to see Pee Dee at their location. This was their suggestion when I said I wanted closure for the kids (who were at preschool at the time). They had him partially covered with an angel blanket. He looked so peaceful. We were able to take our time, talk with the kids...they even had a pet grief workbook and crayons for them. Their staff was great with us and the kids.The cremation was done quickly, and we had him back in just over 24 hours. These people truly love pets and their owners.
