Kevin and Dale performed the aftercare for our dog. This is one of the hardest things to go through, and they were extremely kind and helpful. They picked up our dog after mobile euthanasia in our home, and they were so kind and supportive. They were prompt and had excellent communication. When we picked up the urn and ashes they gave us a very sweet letter and some ink footprints from our sweet little guy. It was so kind for them to think to do that. Thank you for being a light during this difficult time.

Didn't get to have them provide me services but my baby of 13 years passed away last night around 1045pm I was desperately trying to figure out what to do with him. Called the company at midnight and someone answered he was very kind even though it was outside of normal hours and gave me advice on how to store my baby until normal business hours since we didn't have the money to do after hours. I did locate another company open during the weekend so there was no additional cost. A couple hours after my baby was picked up sacred paws called letting me know they had to run over the weekend and was willing to have me being my baby to them and do a normal business hour price. The fact that they kept me in mind and was willing to help me in my time of need meant a lot to me and although I hope I don't need them any time soon. I would use them in the future because of their empathy and willingness to make the process as painless as possible in an already painful situation. They weren't looking to make an extra buck even though they could have tried and that I appreciate. I have full faith they are a company with integrity and understanding and had they provided services I know they would have taken great care of my baby.

We just picked up my pup, Charlie. I adopted him at 8 weeks old and was blessed to have him for almost 10 years. He passed this Mother’s Day weekend. Sacred Paws Pet Crematory exceeded my expectations in caring for my Charlie Square. The owner was kind, patient with our kids, let us say goodbye without being rushed, provided affordable care and a beautifully made pick-up arrangement. We love our urn (I picked one where I can put a picture of Charlie), brass engraved plate, the additional paw prints, card and letter. Our beloved dog, Sherman, left us and left a huge hole in our hearts. He was a 200lb mastiff/dane gentle giant. We knew it would be a real challenge to get him over to Sacred Paws Pet Crematory simply because of his size. But we were determined and Sacred Paws took very good care of him and us once there. The hardest moment of my life was saying goodbye to my Koda bear. Kevin was so incredibly supportive through this horrible time of my life. They perform a very difficult but important service for the loss of your beloved pet. Kevin came to my house to take Koda and said, "Thank you for trusting me with him, I don't take this lightly". Kevin is wonderful and kind. He even helped explain to my 7 year old what was going to happen in a kid friendly manner. She had a gist of what we were getting back but she understood better after he talked to her. I was able to pick up my beloved cat's cremains the following business day. He also has an assortment of urns for additional costs that are beautiful. The pictures on the website don't do them justice. We are very thankful to Sacred Paws 🐾

My old girl zoey (zobo) died very suddenly this past Wednesday night. Thursday morning I took her here. Easily the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Kevin was so compassionate and had a variety of urns and jewelry for ashes. I received her back the next day which was the best thing to have her back home so quickly. Sacred paws really made it easier and their care package was so sweet. I now have a beautiful urn and necklace along with a small baggie to dump when I’m ready and also paw prints for a tattoo. The price was even exceptional which alleviated that stress. I have 10 more animals at home so I’m sure over the next decade I will be a frequent flyer here. Wouldn’t imagine anywhere else. Thank you so much ❤️❤️🙏

On the saddest day in our family, Sacred Paws made the world seem not as dark as it felt. They had our girl ready for pick up quickly and the paw prints, special notes, bag with her urn inside were a beautiful touch. The outside of the office has beautiful flowers and butterflies that were calming. Whenever we spoke, he was very compassionate and treated our sweet girl with respect. I absolutely hate that anyone would need to be referred here but if you have found yourself in this situation, Sacred Paws is the best choice for this sad time. Thank you again for treating our dog as she was to us, FAMILY.

This is the first place I called based on prior recommendations when my dog died, but instead of a helpful human on the end of the line I got an extremely rude half asleep answer from someone without any apparent compassion. He seemed shocked I needed help and replied with “shoot, not today, unless you can be here in an hour”. It was Monday morning at 9 am. Getting my 85 lbs dog from EI to Jacksonville, over 45 min away, was not possible. His reactions and responses were so startling I actually thought I got the wrong number.

First off if you read the one or two bad reviews on Google or on Facebook I want you to remember that Mr. Kevin is a Marine..... he is too the point and can off brash but it it for your benefit to keep you on track and means nothing but empathy and respect. Ignore those reviews because they are amazing!Ok down to business, I can not thank Mr. Kevin enough for the ease that he helped us with the the passing of our bud Spud. Spud passed on the weekend during a terrible storm that hit Carteret county. Mr. Kevin offered to drive to our farm ( Millcreek) to pick up my baby. I was worried about safety so we all agreed to meet first thing that next morning morning at Sacred paws. We drove down to the small private office and cemetery on the property and I was stuck by the fact that it was just as our fatm. ( County, rural out of the way and quite just as Spud knew in life) The office was clean and amazingly organized with plenty to choose from from urns besides the ones that he provides for free.Being a Marine family and totally organized ourselves ( I have Ocd) I had already shown my husband the urns on website and he choose the one he wanted. The process was seamless from that point on and he could read the difficulty I was having ( Spud was almost 16 and our original baby) .He made sure a nice soft bed was on the cart with a pretty afghan to cover. He gave me so much time to say goodbye and also allowed us to have Spuds favorite blanket and his Sheep ( Lambikins) cremated alongside him. ( Two other place had said no so screw them.) Mr. Kevin talked to us for a bit and made sure we knew the expected turnaround time ( 1 to 2 days at most such we got there first thing) .Next day he called and my baby was ready! At pickup he made sure to talk to us some more and that we were totally happy with everything. His urn is beautiful and perfect and the sweet touches of many extra paw prints and the letter meant so much to us at this time.That being said we are a Marine family and over the last 20 years we have had 5 of our beloved babies cremated into two other states.......Sacred paws is the first time I did not feel as if we were just a paycheck for the service. If you go expecting a funeral home, sorry you willl be disappointed. However if you want that personal touch of a family that honestly cares, these are the most understanding people to deal with. We are now in NC permanently and will continue to use them until we ourselves leave this world. Marines understand Marines and the way we deal with loss. To have someone else understand you makes ghe world of difference. Thank you Mr. Kevin for everything again.Spuds family The Olson/ Bells ♡

My loyal protector crossed his bridge day before yesterday. My husband called Sacred Paws and we took Max over when he was able to come home from work. Kevin was so compassionate in the way he handled our Max and our grief. I picked my baby up from him this morning on my way to work. I honestly cannot express how wonderful they’ve been. As much as my heart is shredded, Sacred Paws eased my heartbreak. They included a card with his paw prints and a sweet letter thanking us for trusting them. I can’t imagine trusting anyone else for any of my pets cremations now. I just can’t say how grateful I truly am for them.

Our sweet fur baby had to.cross the rainbow Bridge. I hate to say we had to make the call but Kevin and the staff were so sweet and very respectful. They allowed us to have all the time we needed prior to taking her away. Very promptly we had her back! Sooner than promised. I can't thank you enough.

Our 14 year old lab crossed the rainbow bridge and our vet recommended Sacred Paws. We don't think anyone could have given us a better experience in such a difficult time. The care, kindness, and true empathy made the hard time just a little easier. They made everything very personal and we were able to bring our boy home sooner than we anticipated.

I cannot thank them enough for handling my baby with so much care. When I came home and opened the bag the personalized card, paw prints, and letter made me cry, it’s so sweet of them! I got one of the necklaces and requested to bring my other pups ashes in that passed away in a different state last year to mix in the necklace and they said yes without any hesitation. When we opened my other pets urn that was cremated in FL her ashes were in a gallon ziplock bag! When he put the ashes back he wrapped them with care and covered them to provide the dignity she deserves.Kevin was so kind and could sense I was struggling and gave the warmest hug, which I really needed. Setting up cremation, picking out an urn, was not a hassle at all, which was much needed because we were out of our minds with grief. You can tell the care that they put into making sure every animal has the dignity and respect that they deserve.I cannot thank them enough!

I cannot even begin to express my sincere gratitude for Kevin and Dale. This has been one of the hardest times for my family and I, and they have made it so much more bearable. I would recommend every one to take their precious fur babies here Kevin has always treated our pets with the upmost respect and care and he has always treated us with sympathy and caring and respect when we lose our fur babies and we bring them there for cremation and he also helps pick out the Urn and does paw prints and clay molds of the paws and a letter and also fur collected in little baggies if wanted. ❤️🙏

We lost our beautiful Zoey at 14 this week. The pain and heartbreak is unimaginable at times. When she passed peacefully at home Dr Martin told me to call Sacred Paws . Kevin answered me immediately and asked if we could bring her if we needed him to come get her . He was so kind and professional I could tell he really is passionate about helping with this process. When we arrived he was there to greet us with compassion and respect . He walked us through everything listening and respectful of our feelings. Saying good bye was awful but Kevin certainly respected our time never rushed us . He thanked us many times for trusting him .I didn’t want to leave but knew my Zoe was in excellent care. We picked her 2 days later and again he was wonderful . Everything was beautifully packaged with extra touches that meant so much to us . Thank you so much for helping us through this devastating process. You are a blessing .We just lost Zoeys brother Bentley this week at 15 years old. We are devastated. But again the compassion , kindness and professionalism I just can’t thank them enough. Thank you for making such a difficult time as easy as possible. In the time of our loss Kevin lifted some of the weight off our shoulders. Though our hearts were heavy, we knew our precious Lil Man was being taken care of by someone we trusted. We had to say goodbye to our baby Hank sooner than expected. Our vet recommended Sacred Paws for his final arrangements. I found myself calling them with nearly two hours until we would have to say goodbye, to figure out what to do. I was lost, heartbroken, and confused.Kevin spoke to me with kindness and compassion. He was understanding of my needs and inability to make more than two words without sobbing. He was patient and sent his condolences to me as we spoke. That alone made me feel like he was a friend. He was clear about what was offered and helped me decide the best route for my baby. He handled a few changes that would've annoyed others, so graciously and without complaint.When I picked him up, I couldn't help but start to cry. My 55lb fur baby wasn't walking toward me but being handed to me in a bag by one of the kindest people I've met in a long time. As I cried, he seemed to tear up. I believe he truly realizes the magnitude of what he does. I thanked him profusely for taking such good care of my Hank and he thanked me for trusting him. I felt comforted by the fact that I chose Sacred Paws to do the final arrangements for my sweet baby.Everything was nearly packaged and beautifully. It all came exactly as was asked and better than expected. It included a thoughtful note and card that made me smile. Losing our best friend was an awful day, but sacred paws was so sympathetic, so caring. When I picked my goodest boy up to bring him home, I was brought to tears over all of the extra acts of kindness provided. I wish I could rate sacred paws with 100 stars. We recently had to put our beloved pet to sleep which is such a hard decision. Kevin and Dale were incredible. They understand how difficult the death of a pet can be and take the best care. They both offered the kindest words that brought some peace to our family. They truly care above and beyond what is required. Kevin is so gentle with handling our pet and I 100% trusted that our little buddy was respected and cared for after he left our home. Aside from extraordinary compassion, Kevin and Dale are very efficient. We received our pet's ashes in 24 hours in a very nice temporary earn with a beautiful heartfelt letter along with ink paw prints. Kevin even gave us a biodegradable paper lantern (free of charge) to help us commemorate our pet. During such a hard time, do yourself a favor and enlist Kevin and Dale to care for your pet in their final moments. You will be comforted and sure that the work will be done quickly but with extreme care.

I wanted a private cremation. He does not like doing them as it costs less for him LP gas wise, to do multiple cremations at one time he said. He tells you he will though. Until you see for yourself.I paid for private plus $100 extra due to his mentioning the cost he incurs doing private ones. Which, btw, are already higher priced.Pets do not move 1 foot away from center rear initial placement inside the retort during cremation, to the right side front. Other crematories verified this. Therefore, cannot recommend based on my experience. Grief of pet loss is intense, and then this…..nuf said.

Kevin is incredibly compassionate and kind. He treated my sweet dog who had passed with such respect, allowed me a few minutes in the office alone to say goodbye, and gave me a big hug on my way out. I can not speak more highly of Kevin and sacred paws! I was absolutely distraught after loosing my dog Tasha , 18 years of having her by my side. I spoke to Kevin over the phone and was a blubbering mess .. his kind words and understanding meant so much to me. When I arrived to drop off Tasha I was a mess he talked me through the process, and expressed sympathy and understood how much she means to me. He made a very painful moment a bit easier! He absolutely seems to care about every animal that comes to him and I could not be more grateful for the care and service they provide. I get to continue to take Tasha with me wherever I go and that is everything to me. Thank you for everything Kevin and sacred paws.

I never thought I’d love an animal as much as we did our Mia (yellow lab). So when the day came to let her go home to rest we found a lady that came to our home to help her over the bridge then took her to Sacred Paws. From the first phone call I made Kevin made us feel like family and seemed to mourn our loss as much as we were. Sacred paws treated us with compassion and kindness above and beyond what I expected. I was skeptical but felt at ease when we left her in their care. When I was contacted by them and was told she was ready to come home I never expected what we recieved. We had got a necklace for my son that held some of her and asked for 3 other separate bags. 1 to spread off our boat, 1 to plant with a tree and 1 to keep in the urn. Everything was like we asked but what we didn’t expect was a heart felt letter and some of her paw prints on small sized pieces of paper. This is why I highly recommend and will use them again when needed. They’ll never know how much they did in helping us cope at this difficult time.

My elderly cat and companion of the past 15 years passed away unexpectedly, while I was out of town dealing with a family emergency. Kevin was so kind and compassionate to both me and my partner during this time. I did not get to meet Dale, but it's obvious this couple has built their business out of a genuine love and respect for the beautiful bond between animals and their humans. We are lucky to have them providing this service to us in our time of need here in eastern North Carolina.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Our old man passed away last week. I called and spoke to the gentleman on behalf of my mother and he was so kind. When she went to drop off our dog, he met her outside with a blanket, meeting her in the drive before she even got out of the car. He offered to cremate our little guy in his favorite blanket, preventing it from winding up in the trash. (We couldn’t stand the thought of keeping it without him there because of so many memories.) We forgot to remove our dog’s collar so we called later and asked him to hold onto it and he did. Our dog’s remains were ready to pick up the next day, and some of his ashes were placed in a beautiful locker for my sister as it was her dog. He handed her the collar, and my mother said that she began to cry and he began tearing up. You can tell that this company really values pets and understands what it means to lose that piece of your heart. I am so glad that we took our beloved Taco to them, and will recommend them to any of our friends who have lost a fur baby.Thank you for making the process simple, so respectful, and being human. It definitely gave us a little bit of peace. ❤️

Unexpectedly our English Bulldog died at 11 weeks old. Holly Ridge Veterinary Hospital recommended this establishment. He treated us and our puppy with compassion and caring. Wow. Kevin is awesome and sure made this experience for my fiancé and I very comfortable. He educated us the process of what he will be doing and we were able to pick our Nova boy up the following day. Kevin is a genuine, honest, and sweet guy. I highly recommend this to anyone that lost their fur baby. Prices are inexpensive but oh so worth it. He did provide a little bit more surprises/gifts with the ashes. Awesome place.

Wonderful experience...so caring during such a horrible time. They came to the vets office and picked her and brought her back. I had my Mavis back in less than a day. My old girl zoey (zobo) died very suddenly this past Wednesday night. Thursday morning I took her here. Easily the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Kevin was so compassionate and had a variety of urns and jewelry for ashes. I received her back the next day which was the best thing to have her back home so quickly. Sacred paws really made it easier and their care package was so sweet. I now have a beautiful urn and necklace along with a small baggie to dump when I’m ready and also paw prints for a tattoo. The price was even exceptional which alleviated that stress. I have 10 more animals at home so I’m sure over the next decade I will be a frequent flyer here. Wouldn’t imagine anywhere else. On the saddest day in our family, Sacred Paws made the world seem not as dark as it felt. They had our girl ready for pick up quickly and the paw prints, special notes, bag with her urn inside were a beautiful touch. The outside of the office has beautiful flowers and butterflies that were calming. Whenever we spoke, he was very compassionate and treated our sweet girl with respect. I absolutely hate that anyone would need to be referred here but if you have found yourself in this situation, Sacred Paws is the best choice for this sad time. This is the first place I called based on prior recommendations when my dog died, but instead of a helpful human on the end of the line I got an extremely rude half asleep answer from someone without any apparent compassion. He seemed shocked I needed help and replied with “shoot, not today, unless you can be here in an hour”. It was Monday morning at 9 am. Getting my 85 lbs dog from EI to Jacksonville, over 45 min away, was not possible. His reactions and responses were so startling I actually thought I got the wrong number.

First off if you read the one or two bad reviews on Google or on Facebook I want you to remember that Mr. Kevin is a Marine..... he is too the point and can off brash but it it for your benefit to keep you on track and means nothing but empathy and respect. Ignore those reviews because they are amazing!Ok down to business, I can not thank Mr. Kevin enough for the ease that he helped us with the the passing of our bud Spud. Spud passed on the weekend during a terrible storm that hit Carteret county. Mr. Kevin offered to drive to our farm ( Millcreek) to pick up my baby. I was worried about safety so we all agreed to meet first thing that next morning morning at Sacred paws. We drove down to the small private office and cemetery on the property and I was stuck by the fact that it was just as our fatm. ( County, rural out of the way and quite just as Spud knew in life) The office was clean and amazingly organized with plenty to choose from from urns besides the ones that he provides for free.Being a Marine family and totally organized ourselves ( I have Ocd) I had already shown my husband the urns on website and he choose the one he wanted. The process was seamless from that point on and he could read the difficulty I was having ( Spud was almost 16 and our original baby) .He made sure a nice soft bed was on the cart with a pretty afghan to cover. He gave me so much time to say goodbye and also allowed us to have Spuds favorite blanket and his Sheep ( Lambikins) cremated alongside him. ( Two other place had said no so screw them.) Mr. Kevin talked to us for a bit and made sure we knew the expected turnaround time ( 1 to 2 days at most such we got there first thing) .Next day he called and my baby was ready! At pickup he made sure to talk to us some more and that we were totally happy with everything. His urn is beautiful and perfect and the sweet touches of many extra paw prints and the letter meant so much to us at this time.That being said we are a Marine family and over the last 20 years we have had 5 of our beloved babies cremated into two other states.......Sacred paws is the first time I did not feel as if we were just a paycheck for the service. If you go expecting a funeral home, sorry you willl be disappointed. However if you want that personal touch of a family that honestly cares, these are the most understanding people to deal with. We are now in NC permanently and will continue to use them until we ourselves leave this world. Marines understand Marines and the way we deal with loss. My loyal protector crossed his bridge day before yesterday. My husband called Sacred Paws and we took Max over when he was able to come home from work. Kevin was so compassionate in the way he handled our Max and our grief. I picked my baby up from him this morning on my way to work. I honestly cannot express how wonderful they’ve been. As much as my heart is shredded, Sacred Paws eased my heartbreak. They included a card with his paw prints and a sweet letter thanking us for trusting them. I can’t imagine trusting anyone else for any of my pets cremations now. I just can’t say how grateful I truly am for them.

I cannot thank them enough for handling my baby with so much care. When I came home and opened the bag the personalized card, paw prints, and letter made me cry, it’s so sweet of them! I got one of the necklaces and requested to bring my other pups ashes in that passed away in a different state last year to mix in the necklace and they said yes without any hesitation. When we opened my other pets urn that was cremated in FL her ashes were in a gallon ziplock bag! When he put the ashes back he wrapped them with care and covered them to provide the dignity she deserves.Kevin was so kind and could sense I was struggling and gave the warmest hug, which I really needed. Setting up cremation, picking out an urn, was not a hassle at all, which was much needed because we were out of our minds with grief. You can tell the care that they put into making sure every animal has the dignity and respect that they deserve.I cannot thank them enough!

We Lost our precious little girl Bailey in February. She was 15 years old. It was Like losing a child she was a part of life in every way. We never left her to go anywhere where we went she went. I new I never wanted to put her in the ground so I had been looking for somewhere to have her cremated. I came across Sacred Paws and saw all the great reviews. The day came when Bailey left us and I had to make that decision and it was the hardest day ever. I called Kevin and he told me where he was. He told me there where places closer to me in Morehead but I knew I wanted for Bailey to go there no matter how far I had to go. We got Bailey in the car and went there. When we drive up I looked and my Heart dropped not what I expected. But How wrong I was. Kevin was so understanding and did everything in his power to make me as Happy as I could be with everything. Words can never express how much I appreciate your loving compassion that you had for us and Bailey. This was so hard for us to leave out baby there. It’s took me this long to be able to write because my Heart is so Broken. If anybody has need to use a place to leave your precious baby Kevin is the Best. I was so bummed out and confused when my dog passed I really didn't want to hand him over to anybody. So after he laid next to me on my couch for two days I reluctantly called Sacred Paws and made an appointment to meet with the owner, "Kevin". Drove down a little country road on a spring day and came to a house across from a cornfield where Kevin had came out of. I see this pet crematory only has 4.9 stars when it deserves 10 stars. When we lost our dog 8 years ago it was one of the most difficult times my husband and i have ever gone through. I felt I was rude and I apologize to the gentleman who I spoke to about getting our puppy picked up and when he called after the services were completed.But he was still very polite and understanding when our puppy was hit by a truck on Friday.It was sudden and we are still very upset, but we felt at ease entrusting them with the cremation process.Thank you for your patience and I will definitely be recommending this establishment in the future

The degree of compassion, attention to detail and thoughtfulness that they put into their work was unexpected and truly extraordinary. I had never had a pet cremated before. I always buried them myself and I wasnt keen on the idea of a stranger handling my fur babies. However as we may not stay in the area cremation made sense. I was impressed by how kind the gentleman was. When I got home to take the urns out of the bag and saw two thoughtfully written cards with each of my angels paw prints and date of death, it brought tears to my eyes that a stranger would put so much care into my babies. I cant say thank you enough. I know I took them to the right place.

Within the last 2 years Sacred Paws has helped us deal with the loss of 4 of our furbabies. Every time they have been compassionate and caring. This last lost happened in the middle of the night and they still called back at 1 am to help us preserve her the best way so that she could be taken care of. Very kind, caring. I was given their card from my vet when I had to have my beloved cat Emma put to sleep. I only ever spoke with Kevin, but he was so kind hearted and understanding when I called or texted. He made the process simple and easy, but he also cared so much. They even included my kitties paw prints in their condolence card. I cried like a baby. It's a sad thought to think that I'd have to see them again, but should I lose another pet they most definitely will be the people I go to again.

We lost our beautiful Zoey at 14 this week. The pain and heartbreak is unimaginable at times. When she passed peacefully at home Dr Martin told me to call Sacred Paws . Kevin answered me immediately and asked if we could bring her if we needed him to come get her . He was so kind and professional I could tell he really is passionate about helping with this process. We had to say goodbye to our baby Hank sooner than expected. Our vet recommended Sacred Paws for his final arrangements. I found myself calling them with nearly two hours until we would have to say goodbye, to figure out what to do. I was lost, heartbroken, and confused.Kevin spoke to me with kindness and compassion. He was understanding of my needs and inability to make more than two words without sobbing. He was patient and sent his condolences to me as we spoke. That alone made me feel like he was a friend. He was clear about what was offered and helped me decide the best route for my baby. He handled a few changes that would've annoyed others, so graciously and without complaint.When I picked him up, I couldn't help but start to cry. My 55lb fur baby wasn't walking toward me but being handed to me in a bag by one of the kindest people I've met in a long time. As I cried, he seemed to tear up. I believe he truly realizes the magnitude of what he does. I thanked him profusely for taking such good care of my Hank and he thanked me for trusting him. I felt comforted by the fact that I chose Sacred Paws to do the final arrangements for my sweet baby.Everything was nearly packaged and beautifully. I wish I could rate sacred paws with 100 stars. We recently had to put our beloved pet to sleep which is such a hard decision. Kevin and Dale were incredible. They understand how difficult the death of a pet can be and take the best care. They both offered the kindest words that brought some peace to our family. They truly care above and beyond what is required. Kevin is so gentle with handling our pet and I 100% trusted that our little buddy was respected and cared for after he left our home. Aside from extraordinary compassion, Kevin and Dale are very efficient. We received our pet's ashes in 24 hours in a very nice temporary earn with a beautiful heartfelt letter along with ink paw prints. Kevin even gave us a biodegradable paper lantern (free of charge) to help us commemorate our pet. During such a hard time, do yourself a favor and enlist Kevin and Dale to care for your pet in their final moments. You will be comforted and sure that the work will be done quickly but with extreme care.

I wanted a private cremation. He does not like doing them as it costs less for him LP gas wise, to do multiple cremations at one time he said. He tells you he will though. Until you see for yourself.I paid for private plus $100 extra due to his mentioning the cost he incurs doing private ones. Which, btw, are already higher priced.Pets do not move 1 foot away from center rear initial placement inside the retort during cremation, to the right side front. Other crematories verified this. Therefore, cannot recommend based on my experience. Grief of pet loss is intense, and then this…..nuf said.

The day my beloved cat of 10 years died and I call to have him cremated. I looked up Sacred Paws and was happy with how their website described the treatment of the animals and how it was special to them. However, upon calling I spoke to Kevin who was rude as all get out. It seemed to me like I was interrupting and that I didn’t matter. The way he picked up the phone was “Yeah?” Like it didn’t matter. When I told him I wanted to have my baby’s body picked up from my house and asked if they pickup from the area, it was like he was bothered by my question and was like “Well yeah I need your address!” because I just wanted to see if the zip code was within the range they picked up in. After I started to tell him it’s in Jacksonville he was like yep we do so rude. I feel like someone who works in this type of business should be atleast somewhat compassionate and kind instead of mean. I decided to not go with them after all because I felt as if I was bothering him.

My dachshund Bobo past away on February 11th 2018. I found out about this place from 2 different vets. I gave them a call Monday morning on the 12th. They were so kind and understanding about my dog. I can not speak more highly of Kevin and sacred paws! I was absolutely distraught after loosing my dog Tasha , 18 years of having her by my side. I spoke to Kevin over the phone and was a blubbering mess .. his kind words and understanding meant so much to me. When I arrived to drop off Tasha I was a mess he talked me through the process, and expressed sympathy and understood how much she means to me. He made a very painful moment a bit easier! He absolutely seems to care about every animal that comes to him and I could not be more grateful for the care and service they provide. I never thought I’d love an animal as much as we did our Mia (yellow lab). So when the day came to let her go home to rest we found a lady that came to our home to help her over the bridge then took her to Sacred Paws. From the first phone call I made Kevin made us feel like family and seemed to mourn our loss as much as we were. Sacred paws treated us with compassion and kindness above and beyond what I expected. I was skeptical but felt at ease when we left her in their care. When I was contacted by them and was told she was ready to come home I never expected what we recieved. We had got a necklace for my son that held some of her and asked for 3 other separate bags. 1 to spread off our boat, 1 to plant with a tree and 1 to keep in the urn. Everything was like we asked but what we didn’t expect was a heart felt letter and some of her paw prints on small sized pieces of paper. This is why I highly recommend and will use them again when needed. They’ll never know how much they did in helping us cope at this difficult time.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. Our old man passed away last week. I called and spoke to the gentleman on behalf of my mother and he was so kind. When she went to drop off our dog, he met her outside with a blanket, meeting her in the drive before she even got out of the car. He offered to cremate our little guy in his favorite blanket, preventing it from winding up in the trash. (We couldn’t stand the thought of keeping it without him there because of so many memories.) We forgot to remove our dog’s collar so we called later and asked him to hold onto it and he did. Our dog’s remains were ready to pick up the next day, and some of his ashes were placed in a beautiful locker for my sister as it was her dog. He handed her the collar, and my mother said that she began to cry and he began tearing up. You can tell that this company really values pets and understands what it means to lose that piece of your heart. I am so glad that we took our beloved Taco to them, and will recommend them to any of our friends who have lost a fur baby.Thank you for making the process simple, so respectful, and being human. It definitely gave us a little bit of peace. ❤️

Dale and Kevin are over the top. We used their services on 5 occasions and have recommended friends to them. They really do treat your pet with the best of care and as if it were yhier own. Extremely high recommendation for anyone wanting to see thier pets off right. THE BEST!

Wow. Kevin is awesome and sure made this experience for my fiancé and I very comfortable. He educated us the process of what he will be doing and we were able to pick our Nova boy up the following day. Kevin is a genuine, honest, and sweet guy. I highly recommend this to anyone that lost their fur baby. Prices are inexpensive but oh so worth it. He did provide a little bit more surprises/gifts with the ashes. Awesome place.

Wonderful experience...so caring during such a horrible time. They came to the vets office and picked her and brought her back. I had my Mavis back in less than a day. She came in a beautiful wooden box with some rosemary. They also did her footprint which is so wonderful to have. Would highly recommend Sacred Paws. Thank you so much

Very compassionate and caring people. They make sure that every step in caring for your departed pet is respected, treated as they were their own. We picked out the Lotus urn and the picture on website does it no justice. Beautiful. Highly recommend this urn. Again cannot say enough about the owners of this business and the service they provide.

I never imagined just how difficult this was going to be for me but I knew it was going to crush a part of my wife's heart. The personal setting and genuine compassion of Sacred Pet's certainly helped when struggling through this. I can simply not say enough about this organization and good people. It is tough dealing with such sadness, I am thankful they were there to help us have Gizzy back home in some form.

We Lost our precious little girl Bailey in February. She was 15 years old. It was Like losing a child she was a part of life in every way. We never left her to go anywhere where we went she went. I new I never wanted to put her in the ground so I had been looking for somewhere to have her cremated. I came across Sacred Paws and saw all the great reviews. The day came when Bailey left us and I had to make that decision and it was the hardest day ever. I called Kevin and he told me where he was. He told me there where places closer to me in Morehead but I knew I wanted for Bailey to go there no matter how far I had to go. We got Bailey in the car and went there. When we drive up I looked and my Heart dropped not what I expected. But How wrong I was. Kevin was so understanding and did everything in his power to make me as Happy as I could be with everything. Words can never express how much I appreciate your loving compassion that you had for us and Bailey. This was so hard for us to leave out baby there. It’s took me this long to be able to write because my Heart is so Broken. If anybody has need to use a place to leave your precious baby Kevin is the Best. Kevin you did everything to make this as good as it could be and I think God he sent you on this horrible day. You will always be in our Heart. Thank you Bailey Roberts Family.

So nice and friendly, the owner really made us feel important and was supportive and understanding. We were even able to purchase a necklace to hold some of our dogs ashes. That meant so much. At the end he thanked us for trusting him with our baby. I would give 100 stars.

I was so bummed out and confused when my dog passed I really didn't want to hand him over to anybody. So after he laid next to me on my couch for two days I reluctantly called Sacred Paws and made an appointment to meet with the owner, "Kevin". Drove down a little country road on a spring day and came to a house across from a cornfield where Kevin had came out of. I didn't realize it but I had just made the first step in my process of healing. If this sounds like what you are experiencing take advantage of Sacred Paws and let Kevin give you some comfort. It could have not been any more congenial, all I can say is it was a perfect way for me to start smoothing the bumps in the rough road ahead. Thank you, Kevin.

I see this pet crematory only has 4.9 stars when it deserves 10 stars. When we lost our dog 8 years ago it was one of the most difficult times my husband and i have ever gone through. The owner of this crematory was so kind and compassionate and was an angel sent from God and I will never forget the kindness he showed us during such a difficult time and will forever be grateful to him.

I felt I was rude and I apologize to the gentleman who I spoke to about getting our puppy picked up and when he called after the services were completed.But he was still very polite and understanding when our puppy was hit by a truck on Friday.It was sudden and we are still very upset, but we felt at ease entrusting them with the cremation process.Thank you for your patience and I will definitely be recommending this establishment in the future

The degree of compassion, attention to detail and thoughtfulness that they put into their work was unexpected and truly extraordinary. I had never had a pet cremated before. I always buried them myself and I wasnt keen on the idea of a stranger handling my fur babies. However as we may not stay in the area cremation made sense. I was impressed by how kind the gentleman was. When I got home to take the urns out of the bag and saw two thoughtfully written cards with each of my angels paw prints and date of death, it brought tears to my eyes that a stranger would put so much care into my babies. I cant say thank you enough. I know I took them to the right place.

Within the last 2 years Sacred Paws has helped us deal with the loss of 4 of our furbabies. Every time they have been compassionate and caring. This last lost happened in the middle of the night and they still called back at 1 am to help us preserve her the best way so that she could be taken care of. I can't express how grateful I am for their services. This is not our forever home so I didn't want to bury my babies here.

Very kind, caring. I was given their card from my vet when I had to have my beloved cat Emma put to sleep. I only ever spoke with Kevin, but he was so kind hearted and understanding when I called or texted. He made the process simple and easy, but he also cared so much. They even included my kitties paw prints in their condolence card. I cried like a baby. It's a sad thought to think that I'd have to see them again, but should I lose another pet they most definitely will be the people I go to again.

Sacred Paws Pet Crematory is a wonderful (but sad) business. The owner was very understanding and helpful when it come to the loss of our pet. Quick service and beautiful urns to choose from. For the loss of a pet I would DEFINATELY use their sercives again.

My boyfriends dog was hit by a car and the lady that hit him took him to the hospital sadly he didn't make it 🙁 but he was taken to sacred paws and now my biyboyfri has a beautiful earn with his ashes and his paw prints I'm glad to say this place is very lovely and caring "if love could have savee you you could have lived forever"

Spoke with them on the phone. Very understanding. Explained to me what they do. My sweet Prince was put down today and they were so nice to me. They took care of everything. The day my beloved cat of 10 years died and I call to have him cremated. I looked up Sacred Paws and was happy with how their website described the treatment of the animals and how it was special to them. However, upon calling I spoke to Kevin who was rude as all get out. It seemed to me like I was interrupting and that I didn’t matter. The way he picked up the phone was “Yeah?” Like it didn’t matter. When I told him I wanted to have my baby’s body picked up from my house and asked if they pickup from the area, it was like he was bothered by my question and was like “Well yeah I need your address!” because I just wanted to see if the zip code was within the range they picked up in. After I started to tell him it’s in Jacksonville he was like yep we do so rude. I feel like someone who works in this type of business should be atleast somewhat compassionate and kind instead of mean. I decided to not go with them after all because I felt as if I was bothering him.

My dachshund Bobo past away on February 11th 2018. I found out about this place from 2 different vets. I gave them a call Monday morning on the 12th. They were so kind and understanding about my dog. I took him in to be cremated. They couldn't have been more nicer or understanding. I picked his ashes up on Valentine's Day. He made me feel so at ease and treated my dog like his own. Couldn't have asked for a better place to take him. I highly recommend this place if you're going to keep your pet in your life forever.
